Day 89 Uplate

I join up late at 12.01am. Tim and Greg are outside on the beanbags having a D&M. They are talking about Kate.. surprise surprise. Greg says he thought Kate was loved by the public. Tim says you have no idea of whats going on outside the house really. “Mistakes are made that we know about like Kate’s drunk night, mistakes are made we didn’t know”. Talk moves to nominations – they worry Tim a lot. He’s tried to tell himself its just a game and you just have to do it, but it doesn’t make it easier for him. Tim says people like Nelson haven’t been in the house for so long he might not be as reluctant to talk badly of him – which could cause bad audience reactions outside the house. They could be friends, according to Tim – they wouldn’t be bosom buddies but they could be friends.

12.10am – The girls are in the bedroom, in bed. Melanie is talking about a girl she knows. Melanie is full of praise for this particular girl, but says she needs to do something or plan something with her life. Sounds like a friend of Melanie – but Melanie says she wouldn’t introduce her to her parents. She’s the kind of girl you wouldn’t hang out with during the day – only at night time to go out and party. There is a drawn out silence. This anonymous girl is 10cm taller than Melanie, and funny. Melanie can’t wait to call her when she gets out of the house. Vesna comments the girl will be watching Mel, and Mel says the girl will be thinking “oh shit!”. When Melanie had a boyfriend this girl (sounds like her name is Kate) would still introduce guys to Mel despite the boyfriend. “She doesn’t put up with any crap… she tells it like it is”. At times she is even disrespectful. Melanie comments people who are on drugs are disrespectful. She thinks it might be raining, so the girls listen for a moment for rain. However Vesna wants to know where Greg and Tim are.

12.17am – Melanie was right – it is raining. Tim and Greg however are under a sheltered part of the backyard, still on the beanbags. They are talking about annoyances in the house. Tim explains he was extremely annoyed at Vesna’s dinner party task on Saturday night. It scared him. Particularly when the girls started getting angry and hostile. Greg says it was “shithouse”.

12.23am – Tim has noticed that he asks a lot of questions in the house – but no one asks them back. He is getting a lot of information about their background and their life but other people don’t ask back. Tim says football players are similar – they are always talking about themselves (eg. after a big game etc.), because it is so easy to do. Tim seems to be dominating this conversation because Greg isn’t say much, just the occasional grunt of agreement. Talk turns to one of Tim’s flatmates who he had a crush on, and as a result he wouldn’t tell her a lot of things about himself. Tim has a theory that lots of ‘blokey’ men don’t like to reveal much of themselves to their mates, things like problems with girlfiriends etc. Greg agrees and demonstrates what some blokes are like – flooding their sentences with “fucken” to hide what they are saying. Greg can’t wait to get out of the house and talk to people… “different people” than his usual group. Tim goes on to describe all the great things about his flatmate. He told her his feelings recently and she explained she didn’t feel the same – sounds like a case of de ja vu with Kate! Despite their lack of reciprocal feelings, they have a great friendship. She has many blokes over all the time but Tim says he doesn’t get jealous. If it became a problem then Tim would have moved out. His flatmate is mature, Tim describes, and he doesn’t feel ashamed explaining his feelings or expressing his sexuality.

12.37am – The D&M between the boys continues. Well actually its more like Tim writing a verbal novel while Greg lays silently and nods along. Tim says he loves the way language works – for example the word “encouragement” has the base word “courage” so you are giving courage to some one. Tim gets excited about language. There is an unsurprising silence. Tim explains there are guys who peel away with their girlfriends or wives really need their mates to come around on Saturday night and talk to them. Greg responds with “yeah, its interesting isn’t it?”. Tim wonders where the girls are, asleep properly. Greg can hear traffic, and Tim explains the big highway that runs alongside Dreamworld. They begin talking about the launch show. In Tim’s car they were playing music loudly so Tim couldn’t hear what was going on outside the car. Apparently he had notes in the car of what he would say!? Greg says he only had 25 minutes to get to Dreamworld. Tim thought it was funny he was working in Sydney one day.. then the next he is in lockdown. Tim decides he wants to go for a piss so the two of them get up and walk into the house (they are chained now, by the way).

12.43am – In the bedroom the girls ask where the boys were. Vesna complains they were gone for too long and bombards them with a whole lot of questions like “what were you talking about, why did you leave?”.

12.54am – The boys are talking about how they have rashes on their arms from the chains. They go into the bedroom. Looks like Tim needs to go to the toilet again – however Mike cuts to footage from the daily show.

1.03am – The boys are lying on the floor in the living room. They were doing exercises just now. Tim is talking about how he’s going to go see his family doctor when leaving the house. He thinks he might be a hypocondriac. There is a long silence, the boys are still lying on the floor. Eventually Greg yawns!!! Tim begins to talk but Greg has farted and it smells very bad. The two of them start trying to wave the smell away from their faces. Greg says sorry and asks if Tim’s mum is like his sister. Tim says she’s a very serious woman, and when she stops stressing she’s very fun. She’s a list person, some one who gets up in the morning and doesn’t stop. His Dad on the other hand is the type of person who takes his time, likes to browse at the shops etc. Greg’s Dad always says things are “neat”. His nickname is “Silver”. Greg and his friends would always steal beer from his Dad when they were young. Tim’s Dad has a beard and Tim speculates his Dad might have a few extra chins, but the beard does suit him. His beard and his hair is white, much to his delight. Apparently it helps his proffession (he’s a lawyer) because white hair gives the impression of seniority. He’s been prosecuting dodgy car dealers and supermarkets for not displaying the correct weights of things. Tim is worried that people who aren’t fans of him might go to his parent’s house, because they are listed in the phone book.

1.19am – Boys are still on the floor, and amazingly Greg is talking! Actually no now Tim is talking again – this time about family meals. Tim’s Dad likes to suck on chicken bones and eat a whole apple. Greg laughs and says its “fucking hilarious”. The boys roll over onto their hands and knees and it looks like they are doing stretches. Tim says he’s not used to the plasma screen in the living room being blank. Greg gets into the “on your marks” racing position, and comments he hasn’t done that in a lone time. The boys get down onto their stomaches and pull back their arms and shoulders – a stretch? Greg says every time you do shoulder weights your shoulders should be right back. He did pilates once – and suggests Tim should do it with him once they are out of the house.

1.33am – Greg starts picking his nose while lying on the floor with Tim… with accompanying commentary from Mike Goldman. Tim reckons they are going to put on weight he ate so much chocolate today. Although he doesn’t mind putting on a little. Tim says he doesn’t have any weight right now to lose. Greg mentions something about his mates when he leaves the house but it doesn’t really make sense. Tim wants to call his friends when he leaves and find out what they were doing and how they acted while he wasn’t around.

At 1.38am, Dreamworld says goodnight.

Day 88 Uplate

12:31am: Vesna is screaming at Greg not to read the label of the jar in the kitchen. Ves says she hates Greg, saying he put it out of her reach just to shit her. Mel says that Timmy has fallen asleep. The girls say their wrists are killing them. Ves threatens to cut the cord as such and fail the task. Greg dares her, and she wimps out. Mel on the couch wants to go to bed, but Tim needs to rest for 5 minutes before going to bed lol. Mel says he’s so boring. Vesna says she hates Greg again, and Greg says that he loves her. Greg keeps telling her to take the chain off. Vesna says she took the chain off last night in bed. Mel is yelling at Tim right beside her. He says he needs 60 seconds, so Mel starts counting, but yells. Tim finally gets up and they clean the table. Mel says they are in a war, and they have to clean the tail. He says he’s exhausted. Mel thinks Tim eats too slow so he doesn’t eat enough. Greg needs to go outside to clean something. Vesna doesn’t want to go, but she follows. Tim complains that Mel is cleaning the table simply by brushing stuff onto the floor! Greg starts cleaning outside, moving Bean Bags around, while Vesna just walks beside her. They are soon done. Greg now wants to go to the toilet. Vesna agrees. Mel says that she needs to wash her face and her teeth. Vesna goes to the toilet first. They both finish with their toilet, and Greg wants to find the tweezers. He see’s Mel’s biscuits she sucks on, but doesn’t eat. They think it’s disgusting. They look in a drawer for the tweezers and find a pack of biscuits. Greg says he doesn’t want any, but tells “Tough Girl” Vesna to eat them. He says she won’t do anything wrong. Vesna breaks the chain link to prove her point. They link back up and go over the other side of the room to find the tweezers. Vesna says she hates him again, and Greg says “We figured that out 10 minutes ago, but you keep coming back”.

12:50am: Greg and Vesna have joined Tim and Mel in the bathroom. Tim looks like he has almost fallen asleep in there. They all head to the bedroom together. Greg grabs some glad wrap for the morning (boys are going to dress up in it I think). Tim decides he needs to clean up the dishes now, so he starts cleaning. Cut to Vesna, back in the toilet. Greg is outside singing and yelling. Vesna tells him to be quiet because she can’t go while he makes that noise. Greg gives her encouragement, “So that turd who’s boss.” Timmy comes into the bedroom with Mel, and he says “Look, flith.” Greg says that tomorrow Foil has to go round his underwear as soon as he gets up. Tim agrees. Greg says he’ll do it before farmhand.

1:04am: Greg and Vesna akwardly get onto their bed. Vesna wonders if Tim is doing the number two’s on the toilet. Mel wants him to hurry up. He takes his time on the toilet, much to Mel’s annoyance. When he comes out, Vesna tells him about time. Tim yells “Whats it to you fathead”. Vesna says he said she was fat, but Tim argues that he didn’t. Mel wonders if Tim is undressed, and Tim says ” Does it look like i’m bloody undressed?” Tim says everyone thinks he’s weird and Greg is sitting there cutting foil up. Greg says he’s trying to make a pair of undies.

1:16am: Greg and Tim talking about the female BB. Greg reckons she would feel left out at the Christmas party with the other BB’s. Vesna does a good interpratation of the female BB according to Greg. They say they hardly hear her. Greg says it’s going to be a big day tomorrow. Mel wonders if Tim is going to get under the covers. He says he ‘bloody will’. They discuss farmhand for the morning. Greg says that he thinks tomorrow night the task will be finished. He says they can’t go for any longer. Vesna says she hopes she hears the woman again. Greg says “So do I!”. Vesna says he should go and wank himself. Greg reveals he had a dream that a female BB called him to the diary room and did sexual things to him. Vesna says maybe the female BB and Big Big Brother are an item, and when making love they say “Call me to the room Big Brother” and silly sayings like “This is BB. Undress yourself now”. Mel wonders what it was like the first time they heard the female. Vesna says it was arousing.

1:45am: Vesna and Greg are talking about food, again. Chedder cheese to be exact. Greg says he’s only recently started eating cheeses. This cheese conversation has full on been going on for a good 5 minutes.

Day 87 Uplate

11:58pm: Housemates still talking in bed. Mel says she likes doing something a particular way, she likes her scruture. Greg tells Ves not to roll over because he can’t sleep like that (they are chained together). Greg says he used to cuddle with Christie, saying he did it all the time with her. He says it’s difficult to get to sleep with the chain. Bit of silence now, although I think Tim and Mel are talking. Vesna starts laughing as Greg gets annoyed by her constant moving around in the bed. Greg lets one rip and Vesna says it’s terrible. Greg admits it’s a bad one. I think Mel can get a wiff of it from across the room. Greg says its the pizza. Ves says that Greg has most of the bed and it’s irritating her because she has to keep moving closer to him. Vesna makes mention again that Greg never lets her touch her. Greg points out that they have this discussion everynight, and to let it rest. Silence.

12:16am: Vesna needs to go to the toilet, so up gets Greg too, and he uses a longer chain to keep him waiting outside while Vesna uses the toilet. Greg decides to go while he is up as well. Vesna says the task is ridiculous. She says it makes her feel like a prisoner. They settle back down into bed and silence takes over the room once more.

12:30am: Ves and Greg start talking about some food. Vesna explains it in detail. They try to get back to sleep.

Day 86 Uplate

12:07am: We join with Greg and Vesna in the bathroom. Vesna is saying how some guys might like larger ladies like herself. They are brushing their teeth, and Greg is doing it quite fast and Vesna tells him to stop doing it so fast as he’ll damage his teeth. He stops doing it fast and takes care. They continue brushing in silence.

12:16am: Vesna says she has told all of Australia now that she is getting up tomorrow, so she can’t back out now? Tim groans a couple of times, and Vesna tells him that these aren’t his last days and he’s not dying of a terminal illness. Tim want silence, but Vesna seems to be in a very cheery mood. Vesna says she is on such a high, she says she is looking forward to vomiting on Sunday. She says she would be scared to go, and scared of people yelling at her ‘slut’ going down the ramp. Greg says goodnight to everyone. Vesna says she isn’t ready to sleep, but Tim then says goodnight to everyone as well. Vesna wonders if they really think Vesna is crazy. Vesna is still very wound up while everyone else seems ready for bed. Mel says she wants to be Shopper Chef next week, even if it’s only for one day. Greg says if he wins and FNL is not rigged again, he’ll let her be shopper chef. Vesna say she hates the pigs, and waking up in the morning. Tim says the pigs got too big. Vesna wonders if a spider could come and bite them during the night. Tim tells a story of a big spider that can suck the blood from you while you are awake. They reckon that Tim is lying. Tim says BB would save her by saying “This…..(pause) is BB, Vesna is dying. Greg stop talking to Mel and help her. They all have a laugh. Tim says there is a spider named Blue Tail. Vesna really thinks he is lying. Vesna wants to know about more spiders, but we’re off to a break.

12:44am: Lights are out in the bedroom, but still talking. Vesna says she misses Dean because he always said “Bloody…” She also misses Glenn saying something as well, but Ves tells Greg that he does it better now. She talks about Hotdogs and pimples. They talk about the boil on Hotdogs bottom. Greg says the puss was huge. Vesna says that every guy in here had a go at her. Greg says that Ves had a go back though. Vesna says she wanted to smack Greg when he persuaded the group to leave the dinner table. Greg can’t believe it. Greg says he apologised though. Vesna wonders if anyone will leave the table this Thursday. Vesna says they are having pizza for lunch tomorrow. Greg is going to help. They are having tuna on the pizza. Ves says it’s very nice.

1:23am: Vesna has taken her top off, and jumped onto Greg’s bed. Tim is still asleep. They wake him up, he stirs for a sec, and rolls over as if nothing has happened. Greg and Vesna are laughing their heads off but really really quiet about it. They try to wake him up numerous times, although it doesn’t really work. They try to work out a practicle joke to play on him so he’ll wake up and see it in the morning, but we are taken to a comm break.

1:38am: Vesna wants Greg’s singlet, so he gives her it to wear, and then he gets up and finds himself another one. He then goes to the toilet.

Day 83 Uplate

12:02am: Straight into the show tonight, no intro, no nothing. BB announces to the housemates that the launch of their movie, “Desperate Housemates” is about to start. They are all excited as the gather on the couch. Now cue the credits! Mike holds up BB for a good 5 minutes talking rubbish, making money etc, before we’re taken back to the house finally. The movie starts, and there is a lot of laughing and giggling. All the lights remain on though. It runs for a good 6-7 minutes or so, and they just keep laughing and giggling at the movie they’ve made. It ends and they have credits and bloopers and photo’s, it’s well put together all in all. Straight after, we’re taken back to Mike pretty quickly.

12:18am: The housemates are talking about the movie. Tim wonders if anyone would understand it in the outside world. Greg thinks that the second scene would be hard to follow with the diary. Greg goes to the toilet. Tim is waiting to get into the diary room, while everyone is repeating lines from the movie. Greg returns to the living room. Mel says it was very funny, and Greg agrees. They want to watch it again. Greg says that BB obviously doesn’t want them to go into the diary room. They talk about people who go from one club to another to ‘recover’ when going out. Vesna doesn’t understand it, saying “I suppose it’s for the music.” They all think the photo’s at the end were great. Kate wonders why they can’t simply hit play again. They wonder if they are allowed to leave the couch. Tim says he needs to go in there anyway. The diary room opens, and Timmy runs in. The girls say they want chocolate as well! They say they worked for 3 days for only 5 minutes or so. They want to watch it again so they can see the bits they missed. Greg tells the girls about the reward room. He says he can only see 2 movies in there. They tak about one movie they keep watching over and over, Greg says he’s seen it 5 times now! He tells the girls the menu for the weekend. Greg says it’s annoying because you like to sit down and relax and watch a movie. They talk about Tim being in the diary room for a long time. Greg says he has had a bath, but he is still dirty. Mel wonders what Kate and herself can do tomorrow. Kate says the pool and sunbaking. Mel says she is pretty tired, but pumped as well. Mel says they can play Badminton tomorrow, swim, sauna and eat. Kate says that she hopes Tim comes out with some chocolate. Greg and Kate think they dubbed over voices ruined it. Mel thinks it was funny.

12:36am: Tim has returned to the couch, they are all still sitting there. Tim has a blackhead, and everyone clims round while Mel gets it. Vesna tells her to go deep, deep! Kate says Timmy is disgusting. They find another one on Tim. Now Mel is checking Kate’s face for them. They talk about heaps of washing that everyone needs to do. Mel says she might fold her stuff tomorrow in preparation for Sunday. Tim says he needs to clean and do weights tomorrow. They hear a noise in the wall and talk about how funny it would be if someone fell through the wall. They wonder if they are male or female camera people. Ves yells out it’s starting again, but it doesn’t. All is quiet in anticipation on the couch. BB comes on to talk to the housemates. He tells them that due to popular demand, there will be a repeat screening. Before that however, the results for this week’s task are announced. BB tells them that the movie will be a box office hit, and BB agrees, HOWEVER it wasn’t enough to just make the movie, you had to include specific dialogue, and BB continues to tell the rules, and then tells them they succeeded in this aspect of the task, and therefore they have passed this week’s task.

1:02am: We’re allowed into the diary room – a rare treat for Uplate. Kate is saying that she wished they could hear Greg’s voice as the bum. BB says thats why he is the executive producur. Tim says he is keen to get into producing a series – seeing the pilot has worked so well. Greg says they can talk to Harry Miller about how much they will get paid. Vesna asks BB if they met his expectations. BB tells Vesna that they passed the task. He says there will be no chocolate, but BB was very impressed. BB asks if they think there will be acting oppourtunities outside the house. Mel says she thinks so, especially down in St Kilda. BB asks them what their best moment was, and Kate says watching it. BB asks Vesna if it met her expectations. Vesna says it did, saying she is suprised how crazy she really was. She says she did a lot of craziness. BB asks them if there is anything else. Vesna again asks for chocolate, and BB tells them they can buy it on Monday. Vesna asks him to not make it expensive. Greg wants something exciting to happen tomorrow night. Greg wants something to happen. Tim suggests a flying fox, but Ves says the liability would be huge for this. They want a guest, even a cameraman, but say they would be very happy if Gretel came in. Vesna again asks for chocolate. Mel tells BB that they are going to call each other by their stage names. Vesna keeps asking and comes right up to the camera. BB gets a bit mad, telling them that BB’s decision is final and that it is. They exit the diary room.

1:18am: Into the kitchen, Kate is there as Mel watches on. Kate says one of the guys will be devastated because she has just put Milk everywhere. Ves and Mel wonders who the first shopper chef was. Kate can’t remember, but then says she thinks it was Michael. They say housekeeper would’ve been a hard job back then. The girls start singing, so we duck into the reward room where the boys are sitting on their chairs and watching a movie. Greg says the Pods are great. Greg has just refilled both of their glasses, looks like champagne, and they settle back down to their movie. Back out to the kitchen, talking about BB. Vesna says sometimes it’s all about the ratings. Vesna says she really wasn’t asking for chocolate when she wanted to know if they passed his personal expectations. Ves says that he doesn’t know her that well yet.

1:29am: The girls in the kitchen area still. Vesna says she is going to the toilet. Kate says she doesn’t see how it’s going to affect her life, Mel agrees. She says she’ll just go back to her house, live like normal. Mel says she has been in there for 4 and a half weeks. Kate says 3 months (not quite Kate). Cut to the reward room, still watching the movie, and Timmy asks Greg if he’s watching the way they are producing the movie. They talk about how when there are different angles they now know that the scene has been reshoot. Back out to the girls. Mel says she was a bit sad Wednesday night after the ‘family dinner’, but she’s moving on now and is going to be the best person she can be even if it’s only for 2 more days. Kate tells her that it doesn’t matter what others think of her. Kate says it’s been a great three months, you don’t have to think about anything. She says it’ll never ever happen again. They talk about Carmel, and Kate says she thinks Carmel is so nice. She says it’s nothing against her housemates, it’s simply someone else to talk to. Mel wants chocolate. The girls start making really weird sounds. Kate says it would be funny to meet Vin Diesel (her idol) one day and not find him attractive. She is suprised when Mel says that he is probably 35.

1:48am: Kate says someone will be on All Saints, and they will see it when they get out. Kate wants to go to the diary room and hits the button. BB lets her in nice and quickly. She’s back out even quicker though. Mel is trying to cut her hair. Kate says she is excited about going, but she doesn’t want to go.

2:07am: Girls have moved into the bedroom. Mel says to Ves that she makes her think way to much. They are talking about Big Brother, and how the public wouldn’t know that everyone has to get up early in the morning, and they wouldn’t show everyone in the shower together, or cleaning the windows. Kate doesn’t know if this would be the case. Kate says that they are all going to be household names. Mel is excited, saying some people might name their kid after her. Vesna says they don’t really know Kate though, meaning her real name. Kate says she didn’t have a choice. Mel says she wish she was driving right now. They have a conversation about what side of the road they drive on. Kate wants to know why Tim is upset. Mel says that he thought they had a really strong relationship, but by talking to BB the other night perhaps, Tim has realised it’s not as strong as he thought. Mel says he knows that he likes her and can’t do anything about it, and he’s over it. Vesna says that he drops everything when Kate is around, saying the prime example is that he left the bin in the bedroom to follow her. Vesna says that Tim is in love with her. Kate says he isn’t, but Mel says he is keeping a lot in. Kate says no one asked him about the two of them on Wednesday. Mel says she didn’t because she knew Kate would be uncomfortable. The boys come out of the diary room, saying that BB kept them there talking to themselves for ages. Greg asked BB if he was still there at one stage and BB replied with “For 3 months.” Greg thanks him for giving him the date. They start talking about their stage names. Vesna wants to know what their food budget will be. The guys say goodnight, Tim kissing Kate before leaving the room.

Day 82 Uplate

11:35pm: Housemates are all in bed, lights are out. Greg is pissed with Tim for hogging the doona. Kate wants to learn a language and go to the country and speak it and then help disadvantaged kids. Tim says thats good, saying he could go out to help Aboriginals. Kate agrees, but doesn’t know how to approach them without being offended. Greg wonders who is asleep, it would seem Mel migt be and perhaps Vesna. Tim tells a story about old Aboriginal groups, lots of small groups going from group to group and lighting fires to let people know you were coming etc. He says it was fasinating to know the way they meet and such. Vesna calls out something, and Tim tells her that he is telling a story. Tim says he remembers studying people just going around and shooting people. Kate says someone in Tasmania still has a license to kill Aboriginal people. Tim says it’s unbelievable, not quite believing the story. Tim says they only recently we’re counted in the census. Kate says another law Tasmania had was that you could only prove rape if their was a third party present. Kate changes the subject to Ned Kelly. They talk about his last stand, and the brother etc. Tim retells the story. Tim tells that Ned got bravery awards as a child. He says he used to live by himself and taught himself how to shoot etc when Ned’s mother was sent to jail. He continues to tell the story of the final stand. He says no one could stand the weight of the helmet but him, so he put on the now famous helmet. He got shot in the forearm. Tim adds that when Ned was sentenced to a hanging, and when he was hung, he said to the judge “I’ll see you where I’m going”, and not two weeks later the judge was dead. Ned’s final words were “Such is life.” Tim says Ned had written to the papers to try to explain his actions numerous times.

11:48pm: Still talking, some murderer they are talking about, not quite sure who yet. Tim talks about a beautiful jail in Parramatta. Kate tells Tim that when he comes to Freo they will go on the jail tour. Mel pipes up and they talk about going around Port Arthur. Mel went on the night tour, Kate hasn’t. They both went after the massacre. They both talk about the images at the entrance of all the ghosts. They start talking about Bryant, but decide not to. Kate changes her mind and says no one did anything about his behaviour when they knew about. Mel says the neighbours should have done something, especially because Bryant had shown the neighbour’s daughter pornography. Mel says she wrote a huge essay on the case. Kate says he is believed to have drowned his father as well. Tim says you need to put money into public education to pick this thing up. He says they need someone at every school to spend time with students. Mel says she thinks teachers need to become more professional. Tim says they need more money, but to do that they need to pay more taxes. Kate says it could be taken from elsewhere, for example government advertising campaigns. Kate says she wants to be the first female Prime Minister. Tim says he could be her Press Secretary. She agrees to him doing that. Kate is getting confused with USA politics, and Tim starts explaining that the Prime Minister has a cabinet of ministers. Mel thinks Politican’s should be paid less. Tim says that if you want the best people in the job, you have to pay them. The girls don’t think we have the best. Tim brings in the example of corporate salaries, saying they get paid way too much. Tim admits he only gets $40,000 a year. Kate says she is suprised that Tim only earns $40K, saying she thought he would be on $70K.

We don’t return to the house at all for the rest of the program due to the housemates heading off to sleep.
