Day 68

10:56am: The housemates start the day with an aerobic session, led by Christie. Doing one particular exercise, Christie counts down from 10 in relation to how many left to do, but stops at 6 because she needs to ‘wrap it up.’ The housemates all give themselves a clap. Christie says she feels pumped. A little later, Rita and Christie find themselves in the kitchen. Christie is helping her, but Rita says she would rather do it on her own. Christie says “Fine, do it yourself” and storms off. Rita tells her not to get angry. Rita tries to explain to Vesna why she doesn’t want help. She then says “I heard you saying stuff about me last night”, revealing that she had heard them saying that “Rita was bitchy” today. The girls say that they didn’t say it. Rita says she thinks she knows who says it. The girls both say they didn’t say it. Vesna doesn’t want to argue.Christie thinks she would remember if she said someone like that. She says it’s not bothering her because she knows she didn’t say it. Christie says that Rita implied that it was Vesna and her. Rita says she didn’t say that, and if they took it that way, they must be guilty. Christie walks away and Rita says to Vesna that ‘she gets cut very easily.’ Inside Christie and Mel talk. Christie says in the outside world she wouldn’t talk to to her, but in here she is forced to interact with everyone. Christie says she tries because she hates conflict. Back in the kitchen, Rita says no one listens to her and that they think she is a fly on the wall. She says that only Tim and Mel listen to her. Mel in the bedroom says that perhaps Rita she wants to help Christie’s development. Christie says she doesn’t want to speak to people she doesn’t like. “Had I known, I so wouldn’t have chosen her.”

1:14pm: Christie is still complaining, outside. Vesna says she has to try to get through it. Christie says parts of her personality are coming out which she never knew existed. She says it’s effecting her a great deal. In the bedroom, Mel tells Kate that Christie is losing her mind. Kate thinks that Christie doesn’t want to give her a chance and that Rita doesn’t respect her. The girls both say they see both sides. Rita joins Christie and Vesna outside sunbaking, making a huge noise sitting down. Rita says “I think you’re really cool, so don’t think I don’t.” Christie wonders if they’ve gone anywhere since their last talk. Rita thinks so. She explains that this morning she just wanted to be by herself. Christie says the bitchy comment sounded as if Rita meant they said it. Rita says that she thinks Mel said it. Inside, Dean is saying that Rita talks to much, and yet has a massive heart. He says you would be hard pressed to find a nicer person though. Tim thinks that the positive side of her is a front for Rita. Christie back outside says she doesn’t think that Rita and herself can’t be good friends. Rita says that they can, if she stops caring for her. Christie says she doesn’t associate people who she isn’t comfortable as she sees it as a waste of time. Rita says it’s ok, and she has ‘heard her.’

2:19pm: David finishes his online diary. Christie asks what the question was. Dave says it was good and that he won’t go and write negative things in there. Dean comes up close and gives him the thumbs up. Outside, he says that Dean will be a friend for life, and thats what he wrote. He says he’s not going to go around and bitch. Mel says to Kate inside that everyone’s fighting. Vesna says she is going to go and ask what the deal is. When Dave comes in, Ves asks if he was referring it to her when he said “I’m not writing anything negative.” Dave says he didn’t mean it to come across that way, and he wasn’t inferring her opinion in any way. He says that she might think that but it’s not the case. Back outside, Dave says she can’t keep her mouth shut. In the bedroom, Christie is talking to Vesna. Christie says she is trying to do everything to please the twins. Christie says she feels as if she needs them more than they need her. Vesna says it’s an insecurity. Christie doesn’t know what she is insecure about however. Vesna says that perhaps Christie thinks that she’s not good enough for them. Christie says that the girls give so much to them, and that they live like kings. Vesna says that everyone’s fighting, and she doesn’t know why. She says they all hate her. Christie tells her that she just speaks the thoughts of others.

6:33pm: Kate comes to the diary room. She says things are winding down which is weird. She says she isn’t bothered by as many things anymore. She says Rita doesn’t stop talking and that Christie can’t stand it. Kate says she is just over it in a way. Kate says she needs something to happen, to talk about, to think about that is new. BB asks her how she thinks she’ll cope if she survives in the end. Kate says the thing that she would struggle with is to come so far and yet not win. She says she started thinking the other day about who she wanted to win, and wasn’t thinking about who they were, but more about what the money could do for them. Outside in the living room, Christie and Dave are talking. Christie says she feels like she is in the middle of the girls and the guys. She says she feels as if she has no place. She says she really like Vesna, but at times she shits her. She says she wants to get away from the girls sometimes, and thus she comes to them. She say she doesn’t feel secure, and that she is prodding along. Dave says not everyone is meant for everyone. He says he feels competition from Vesna in this house. He says that she won’t crack them. He says it doesn’t phase it, and he ‘doesn’t care what a hairdresser thinks of him.’ He says she contradicts herself, and calls her pathetic and low.

9:53pm: BB tells them it’s time to tapdance. They all get outside as quickly as possible, Vesna struggling with her shoes. The girls go first while the boys watch on, and then Dave and Kate do a tapdance togehter, followed by Vesna and Tim.

Day 67

7:45am: Tim & Dave are up early to feed the animals. One goat gets on his back. Tim enjoys the back scratch. He says “I love you goat.” Inside the bedroom, Mel & Vesna are talking. Mel says that a lot of people in the house have goals and are very ambitious. Vesna says that you can’t really walk up to people and say they are being fake though. Vesna says to Mel that the girls need to concentrate on winning on Friday night because the boys have a stranglehold on the event. Vesna says that Christie told her that the Logan brothers are going to try to win every remaining FNL because they feel they will need to take the 3 points off themselves every week they are stil in the house. Mel comes to the bathroom where Tim & Kate are. Kate complains of putting sunscreen in her eye. She leaves the bathroom. Tim says to Kate that she is making up that story. Tim says she is very sad because Kate just told him that she has strong feelings for him and Tim said that he can’t be with her at the moment. Mel laughs. Vesna is shown in the diary room doing an online update. Once she re-enters the house, Christie asks her what the question was. Vesna says she had to write what she thought of each housemate. Once she leaves the living room to go outside, Greg says “I know what she would have put down for me.” Christie says she has noticed there is tension between the two. Greg says he’s over it, not even going to try anymore because there is no point. Christie tells Greg that she hasn’t said anything to Christie about him. Greg says he can’t win. He says it’s the only person he’s ever seen where he can’t understand them.

Outside, Vesna is talking about what she wrote. She says “Dean won’t let me in, but I suppose he has his reasons for that.” Dave wonders what she wrote about him. Vesna says that Dave and his brothers is very deep, and they should read it when they get out. Dave says all of Australia is going to read it. Vesna says it’s very deep again. Dave says his mum will be proud to read it then. Vesna says Dave runs away from everything. Dave says that she hasn’t interacted with people like him before. Vesna says that Dave is so in it for themselves, so competitive. She says that if he failed he wouldn’t be able to live with himself. She says he would walk over people to win. She says life is a competition for him. Dave says thats fine, he says he listens to what she’s saying. Vesna says that Dave has a battleshield on, anything that comes across he just ignores. Dave decides he’s had enough talking about it and would rather concentrate on the weights. He says they can talk about when he’s finished. Vesna says she doesn’t think he’ll talk about it later.

12:31pm: Dean, Logan boys and Tim are at the gym talking. Dave is filling in Greg about Vesna’s online diary. Dean says she told the truth at least. Dave says they won’t open up because they want to win. Mel and Kate are in the bathroom. Mel thinks Dave is arrogant. Kate says Greg thinks how the other person will feel before he speaks. Mel agrees. Mel goes onto say that they might have feelings for people inside the house, but she thinks they won’t ‘open up’ until they are outside the house. Kate agrees. Mel says it’s all false as if they are playing the game. Mel says she sees deception, and then at the end they will want to hang out and be best buddies and reveal more of themselves. Mel goes onto say why would she want to give them time at the end when they’ve had all this time to get close. Cross to Christie and Rita outside sunbaking. Christie says there is still tension in the house. Christie says with the boys. Rita can’t see it and asks Christie to fill her in. Christie says “Nah it’s ok.”

Later, in the kitchen with a lot of housemates, Greg asks Vesna what she wrote about him. Ves says that he wears battleshields up and not allow anyone in. Ves says that their meaning of life is very different to hers. She goes onto say that they are very competitve and would do anything to stop themselves looking bad. She says they don’t want to be distracted from the big game. Ves says they haven’t shown her anything of them in the six weeks she has been here. Greg says he hasn’t had anyone tell him that in his whole life, but “it’s cool.”

2:37pm: Tim comes to the diary room. He says that a number of people are getting tired because it’s coming towards an end. He talks about Kate telling him that she was scared coming into the final weeks people would perhaps lose their purity of the relationships formed. He talks about todays argument between the Logan boys and Vesna, calling the atmosphere explosive. In the kitchen, Christie asks Greg if he wished he had stronger relationships with some people. Greg says he only doesn’t get along with one person. He says in hindsight he probably could’ve tried more at the start. Greg says if he has problems with people he can normally figure out why. He says he has tried and tried, and there is no point in putting on a nice happy face. He says what she said today did hurt him, calling it a massive assumption.

9:25pm: In the kitchen, Vesna says that Dave hasn’t spoken to her all day. Greg is doing the dishes at the time as well. Dave says that he’s having a break because she hasn’t said the nicest things to him today.

Dave says if he opens his mouth at the wrong time he’s going to lose the friendship he has with her. He says some things he could say could be too harsh. Vesna says they have come here for honesty and she has been honest from day one. Ves goes onto say that it’s probably just been her trying to make Dave into the person she wants to spend time with. Ves noe realises that he’s never going to be that. Dave says perhaps he is doing the same to her. Vesna tells him that she is so tough. Dave agrees, but says she continues to whinge about little things. Dave says that if he thinks Vesna is not coping with a big problem, he’ll be there for her, but the little things he thinks she can deal with it herself and she doesn’t need to constantly raise them. Vesna brings up the fact that Dave farted on Vesna. We see Dean, Kate and Tim sitting at the table. Dean shakes his head.

Dave says that Vesna farted on him too, but Ves says that was through sheets wheras he farted on her skin. Vesna tells Dave not to mock her as she walks away. Dave says she is walking away because she is wrong. Ves says she has to brush her teeth. Greg says to Dave to not worry about it. Rita comes up to Dave and tries to get him to smile. Dave refuses as it’s not funny. Rita keeps trying, but she’s not getting anywhere. Dave says “Thats how pathetic this house has got; an argument over farting.”

9:59pm: Rita and Vesna are talking in the bedroom. Rita says that Dave has an extremely aggressive side to him. Ves agrees. Rita says he is holding back. SHe wonders if Greg told him to hold back once they got into the house. She goes onto say if they weren’t 1 in the house and individuals it would be a lot different. She says if they were each their own person it would be much more interesting and the real Dave would come out. She thinks that it’s totally unfair they are two in the house and it gives them a much greater chance of winning. She says they could give each other signals to calm down inside the house. Both Ves and Rita agree they should each be there own person and something should be done about it. Chrsitie has been on the bed listening and goes to the bathroom. Rita says she’ll probably tell them out in the living room. On her way to the bathroom Christie only says “Sick of all this bitching.” Rita thinks Vesna should win the game. She says that people love Vesna, but the guys give them shit because she is a threat to them and hoping that if they put her down she will stay down. Vesna says it’s too far fetched for her to comprehend. Rita comes out to call Greg into talk to Ves. Dean tells Dave to go in as well because they are one person. Dave says no way. He doesn’t want to make her cry. He says there is no way he’s going in there. In the bedroom Greg wants to know why Greg frustrates her. Vesna says thats its hard to express her concerns about Greg when they are counted as one person. Greg says that he came onto the show for his brother and to spend time with him as it was important to Dave. Vesna says that Greg is helping his brother play the game. She says they have an advantage over the others. She says that if one wants to win the other will try as hard as they can to help the other person win. Greg says that when he pulls up his brother in the house it’s not because he can see the winners cheque disapearring, it’s rather that he is genuinely upset that he upsets others. He says he knows it will reflect how he looks. Vesna says she understands that but she can’t deal with the issue of them being in the house as one person. Greg runs through the disadvantages with Vesna, saying that every positive has a negative.

Day 66

10:29am: Most of the boys are in the gym doing weights. BB calls all housemates to the diary room. They all exit the diary room with a personalised paper bag full of needed items for this weeks task which is tap dancing. BB announces to the house that it’s time to tapdance. Back out in the garden, Big Brother has set up special stages for the housemates to tap their new shoes on. They go through the routine numerous times together, and then get each sub group to perform the dance on their own. Dean, Dave and Mel go first. They seem to go quite well. Kate says to Tim that Dean looks a bit silly doing it. Dean has such a happy smile on his face you know it must be put on. BB interrupts them and tells them that the session is over. Vesna ignores BB and starts talking about a step, but all the others slowly start to end the session.

12:39pm: Christie and Rita are preparing lunch for all the housemates. Christie says she misses her friends. She explains that she can tell her friends anything and they won’t feel any less of her. Rita says no one in here thinks of less of her, which Christie agrees with, but Rita goes on to say that it depends how you (Christie) treat other people as well. Christie says “I’m wondering why their is frustration between us Rita.” Rita says that she thinks Christie is a type of person who will say one thing to one person, and something different to another. Christie says she seeks advice and then confronts. Rita says that she thinks Christie never confronts, and just continues to talk behind people’s back. Rita says she knows Christie better than Christie thinks she does. Mel is sitting watching, and says that in here confrontation is different. Mel goes onto say that it’s hard in here because your not meant to get along with everyone BB puts in here. Rita disagrees, saying thats a negative attitude. Mel can’t believe that and screams. Christie says everyone is different. She says she doesn’t like confrontation, but Rita obviously does. Christie says her style is to get advice and sometimes leave it at that. Rita says she should talk about it in a mature manner. Christie says “This is what you do to me Rita, you annoy the absolute shit out of me.” She says she is over it. Rita says she shouldn’t raise her voice, and get protective and immature about it. Mel wonders if raising her voice is immature. Christie says “To Rita it is.” Rita says she was bought up in a different environment to them. She says her morals and standards are different to theirs. Christie goes onto say that she doesn’t know what frustrates her about Rita. Rita suggests they talk about it together. Christie says it’s frustrating that it always has to be “Rita’s way.” Dean has come to the kitchen in the middle of all this. Christie also says that she feels like Rita doesn’t listen. Mel cuts in and says she feels like she is 19. Rita asks Mel to be quiet so Christie and herself can discuss this. Dean returns to the gym where all the boys are and Vesna and recommends they all stay out her because the girls are fighting. Vesna wants to join in, but the guys tell her not to. She doesn’t listen and goes anyway. Dean recounts what he heard to the boys.

12:58pm: Vesna is now also in the kitchen. Kate is in the living area of the room and has heard it all but not spoken. Mel asks why Rita always says to her “When I was your age…” Rita explains she is trying to get Mel to understand her (Rita). She says she is not trying to make her feel below. Mel says she does. She says Christie also is. Rita thinks they are both insecure. Mel gets up very frustrated. As Mel leaves the house for the backyard, Rita calls out that one day Mel will realise that Rita was in fact trying to help her out. She says “And walking away is not a good way to deal with it either.” Vesna says that everyone should be nice to each other. Kate says she does exactly the same as Rita. Mel is back. Rita says that for some reason Mel doesn’t think that she (Rita) likes her. She says she does. Mel says she just doesn’t understand, but Rita interrupts saying “It doesn’t really matter.” Mel says she wants to talk about it, but Rita says they are getting to defensive about it. Mel says “What do you expect when you tell the whole group that you think I’m negative.” Vesna says to stop it. Rita tells Mel to not take it to heart. Kate cuts in, but Rita asks her not to. Rita says to Christie “You know how you think your honest and you say things to people’s faces, I don’t think you do.” She goes onto say “I know a lot of others that might be thinking it, but I’m the only one with the balls to say it.” Vesna says she needs a coffee, she can’t deal with it. Rita says no more. Christie is very silent and looks almost as if she is trying not to cry. Mel & Rita are now in the bathroom. Mel says she is not ready to talk about it yet any further, saying that when it makes sense in her head she’ll talk. Rita says she like Mel and would tell her if she didn’t like her. Rita goes onto say she sees things from a different angle and Mel shouldn’t take it to heart. They hug and makeup, Rita saying she doesn’t want anymore tension. Once out of the bathroom, Christie asks Rita if they can talk. Rita says yes and they go to the bedroom. Christie says she gets frustrated because she feels that her opinion isn’t getting heard. She says she hates being looked as the 19 year old with no experiences. She says that it hurt her when Rita said that she knew a lot about her just before. She asks what she meant by that. Rita tries to explain, saying that she knows that while she might do something one way on the outside, inside Rita thinks Christie has a different view. Christie explains she thought it meant that she had seen a lot more of her (alluding to watching on the outside). She says it cut deep to her. She says she isn’t happy about the way she handled the argument. Rita feels the same way and they make up.

3:06pm: Kate Christie and Mel are lying on the bed. Kate says she felt uncomforable today when Vesna asked Christie “What were you and Greg sleeping in the same bed last night for?” Christie says they didn’t do anything, imagine if they kissed! Kate says she thought it was really weird. Kate says she is not bitching now, she is addressing issues. In the spa are the Logan boys and Dean. Dean says it was funny how the boys were outnumbering the girls 6 to 3, and now the boys are outnumbered. Dave says the boys all get along smoothly, and when the girls get their way they are into each other. Back in the bedroom Christie is confronting Vesna about her comments this morning about sleeping with Greg. Ves says she has said that before. Christie says she is really sensitive today. Ves says she only did it once and didn’t go on and on about it. Christie says she knows it makes him uncomfortable, so Christie also gets uncomfortable. Ves says she isn’t dealing with this very well at all and starts crying. Christie tells her to let it out. Vesna thinks everything is blown out of proportion in this house. She says she hates the farting in the face. Christie offers to stop it. Ves says she really hates it. She goes onto say that when Christie gets around the guys she becomes a little bitch. Christie yells “WHAT?” Ves says she becomes a different person. Christie says that really offends her. Ves says she feels that she isn’t her friend when she does this. Mel says that Ves thinks that when your around the boys she’s not sticking up for Ves, or the girls in general. Kate says all the guys stick together but the girls don’t have a close bond. Both Kate and Ves hate that. Back out at the spa the guys are saying that the biggest argument the boys have had was with Dean and ‘sparrow boy’ (Tim). But Dean goes onto say that they are both civil and talk to each other. Greg agrees saying that they aired their concerns to each other and it hasn’t stopped them both having a good time. In the bedroom, Christie is upset saying so many things have come out today. Ves and Christie share a hug. Mel says “We cry over anything, we’re pathetic!”

8:49pm: Christie says that it shocked her when the Logan’s were up on Monday. Ves says that Dave often grits his teeth in an effort to not say what he really feels. Christie agrees. Ves says they are not as nice as they appear. Christie says they are hot and cold. Dave comes to the diary room. He says he has a few questions to ask BB. He wonders if the girls bought a manual in with them so the boys could read how they work, or whether they have to guess? He says he doesn’t understand the majorty of them. Back to Vesna who thinks they were told to do everything with a smile on their face and don’t complain. Ves says now she thinks about it, it makes her really mad. She reckons their buttons aren’t being pushed, and asks Christie what they can do to push their buttons. Christie says they hate confrontation. Back in the diary room BB asks if he has learnt anything about the girls. Dave says “I think as my brother said, I should just keep my mouth shut.” Dave says he is sure that they had a discussion about how they aren’t being open and always nice etc. He says they don’t deserve his….”are we meant to just sit there and listen to them?”

10:36pm: Housemates are all in bed. Vesna gets up and starts talking to Jesse, the ‘ultimate housemate”. She says Jesse has a nice top on, and asks where s/he purchased it from. She tells it she has to go, and goes to the dancefloor and practices her tap dancing.

Day 65

9:12am: Big Brother has gathered the housemates outside for their weekly grocery shop. Christie is this week’s shopper chef, and she reads out to all that the budget is set at $238. BB tells Christie that the storeroom is now open. She grabs the huge box of personal items (gels, moisturer etc) for only $10. Outside, Tim says to Vesna that they should run away together. He says they can stay at a caravan park, although he rephrases it to say ‘a nice one’. He says Vesna can cut people’ hair. Tim says he’ll be in the caravan next door making love to another woman. Back in the supermarket, Christie has a packet of Tim Tams for each housemate. She scans a variety of items and then she is done. She tells the housemates that they each have a packet of Tim Tams and a box of Pringles. She grabs all the bags and exits the grocery saying she had fun. She tells the girls about the toiletries. Tim, back in the kitchen, grabs Christie and asks where the Tim Tams are because he thinks they should go into the bedroom and eat them all. Ves decides to put all the toiletries on the carpet. The girls all gather round and screams of delight could be heard from a mile away. They say it’s like Christmas. Dean comes in and says “Look at them….like seagulls for a chip.” The boys gather round their much smaller pile, saying they can put gel in their hair now. Greg thought he bought a box of something in, but then changes his mind and says ‘maybe I didn’t.’ Vesna, who is putting fudge or something in Tim’s hair tells everyone she is in a great mood. Christie starts giving everyone the pringles. In the bathroom, the guys try and decide which side to put all their gels and other items. They decide the side closer to the sauna. In the bedroom, Tim is putting foundation on his face with the help of Mel. Back in the bathroom, Dean is excited they have ‘basic gel’.

11:35am: The boys are playing Cricket outside while the girls are checking out the guys bathroom products. The girls can’t get enough of the guys aftershave. They start talking about specific scents and how they remind them of certain guys. Kate gets particulary excited about one and then realises it’s Greg. She says that her gay boyfriend used to wear it. She says she is sick of people who are borderline gay. She says Greg is probably exactly the same. Christie is walking around without a top. Mel says she doesn’t find Dave attractive at all – she says he is aggrogant. Back outside the cricket game ends when Deano hits the ball over the fence. Now in the sauna, Christie and Kate have just put stuff in her hair. Rita comes in and asks how long they leave it in their hair. Christie says they will leave it in all day, but Rita tells them that it stops working after 10 minutes. Christie disagrees, and Rita thinks they should ask Vesna. Rita gives her reasons why they should take it out after the 20 minutes. Christie says “You can think what you like, but with mine, it doesn’t.” She goes onto say to Rita that she shouldn’t argue with her because she knows that she is right. Rita leaves, and Christie says to Kate how annoying that was. Kate says she felt awkward. Outside the guys have moved to the gym now. Vesna is watching on. Rita comes out and asks Vesna about leaving the hair moisturiser longer than you should. Ves says it doesn’t matter, it actually helps if you leave it in longer.

2:45pm: Kate is plucking Dave’s eyebrows. Kate says she is doing Dave a favour. He says he realises that. Mel is now giving Tim a new look. He looks in the mirror and likes it! He says “I think it’s quite nice.” Christie says it looks great. Dave comes over to show the eyebrows to Christie and Dean. Christie thinks they look awesome, while Dean says “You really look like a chick.” Christie says that it opens up his eyes so much, and Dean comes back with “Oh mate, there the window to your soul.” Greg comes to the diary room to share his concerns. He says that all the guys are talking into girls, and he’s concerned for their manhood. He asks for the tennis ball back! Tim stands in the entrance to the bedroom and starts talking in a really stange voice and says to Kate “Don’t resist my young body – I know you want me.” Rita walks up to him and kisses him with her mouth over his lips. Once they’ve gone out to the living room, Mel says “Weird, weird, weird, weird.” Greg has bought Tim into the diary room to echibit his point. Tim is dressed in a pink hat and a green scarf type thing. Tim doesn’t say a word but does ‘girl type’ actions while he sits there. In the middle of it he looks into Greg’s eyes and sticks his toungue out a bit. Greg laughs. He again thinks that the tennis ball should be bought back. In the bedroom, Mel wonders how the public perceive her. Rita reckons she is seen as a negative, saying they (the public) don’t like negativity. Christie doesn’t think she is negative. Rita says she sees it a lot. Rita says she never smiles and she hates that. She goes onto say that because she is a happy person she sees it a lot more. Rita goes onto say she thinks Mel is judgemental, but says it’s not in a bad way. Rita thinks Mel isn’t being herself. Mel says she sees it totally different. Rita comes over to Mel’s bed, saying she is used to hanging with people with very happy people. Rita thinks people are intimidated by Rita’s happiness.

8:35pm: BB announces that Kate, Logans and Rita are nominated. Logan’s come to the diary room to deduct 3 points from themselves. BB announces that the new nominees are Kate, Rita and Dean and Tim. Vesna gets so excited and goes “Oh my god” and starts clapping. Dean says to Christie that she shouldn’t be doing that now. Greg says to her “Good to see you’re excited Ves.” They all get up and she says “I didn’t mean to do it…it’s just a week off. Dave and Christie tell Dean that he has nothing to worry about. In the bedroom Vesna says to Kate that she was just so excited to be not nominated. Kate fully understands. Greg says she is entitled to be happy. Rita talks to Tim on the couch and says that the house is full of fakes. Dean enters the bedroom and tells Ves that he wasn’t mad at her, but it probably wasn’t appropriate to jump around like she did. Dean understands her point, and goes out to the kitchen. He runs in a minute later and says congratulations and gives her a hug. Back to Rita and Tim and Rita is saying that people are intimidated by her. Tim thinks it’s because she doesn’t listen to people when they are talking. Rita says she does, but people can’t see it.

12:23am: Most of the housemates are in bed. Vesna says she misses Hotdogs and wants him back. Rita says he’ll be loving it out there. BB turns the lights out and Dean says “What a champ!”

2:32am: Tim and Kate are talking on the couch. Tim is saying that he has always found Kate very attractive. Kate says thankyou. Tim says it sucks because he couldn’t go near her. Tim says that if Kate dug him back she would have given him a sign. Kate says she totally loves him and thinks he’s an amazing guy, but it sucks because she isn’t attracted to him. She says she always falls for the stupid idiots.

Day 64

9:13am: Big Brother announces that breakfast is served in the reward room. Everyone stirs. Christie says she wants 10 more minutes. Tim comes over, and Christie threatens to throw him around if he touches her. Out in the kitchen, Rita, Kate & Vesna are talking about it being eviction day. Rita says she is so excited. Back to Mel and Christie who are still in bed. Mel thinks that Rit has changed. Christie asks her to continue explaining. Mel says she is being a bit bossy, and she doesn’t like seeing her negative side. Rita is saying that bacteria of something could infect them they way they clean or something. Kate says she doesn’t really care. Back to Christie, who says ‘she talks too much!’ She goes onto say you can’t have a conversation with her because she overrides it. They both agree she is showing her selfish side. Into the rewards room we go, Dean saying that Dave & Ves and Greg & Rita should go on a double date. Dave adds Kate & Dean. Dean says Greg should take Rita and Kate out, while Dave adds “Christie” to Greg’s list.

11:16am: Hotdogs and Ves outside sunbaking. Dogs is saying that even though he hates to admit it, some of the stuff she has said is right. Dogs says that since the guys are away Vesna has been a lot easier to talk to and get along with. Christie comes out and complains that Rita never shuts up. Dogs agrees. Vesna says it’s just her. Dogs says she doesn’t listen though. Christie comments that it’s very windy. In the kitchen Tim, Mel, Kate and Rita are talking. Rita thinks the bread will be ready for lunch. Kate says that Rita’s energy amazes her. Mel says Rita’s energy disgusts her because she doesn’t know where Rita gets it from. Rita says she just doesn’t stress and nothing bothers her. She says she can sleep when she is dead. Into the rewards room again the guys are throwing a ball around. Dave is worried he’ll break something. BB announces to the boys it’s time to leave the room. They all say “nooooooo.” Greg stuffs a heap of something down his shorts and runs for the door.

3:26pm: Vesna is staring at Dave and Dave calls her a freak in the bedroom. Vesna says he insults to the lowest level. Dave doesn’t seem to mind, repeating his freak claim. He tells her to stop looking at him. Vesna says she has figured out so many things about him. He asks what they are. Vesna refuses to reveal them. Dave says she is making them up thats why. He asks her if she is going to give him a haircut. Vesna says quite loudly “Are you goinmg to treat me like shit or are you going to stop?” Dave replies with “What…”. Vesna says “It’s up to you buddy.” Dean starts laughing. Dave asks Dean to cut his hair. Vesna snaps at him saying “NO! Dean can’t cut your hair.” Dave says that as soon as he came back she was into the room annoying him.

8:01pm: Eviction time! Hotdogs gets his marching orders, and their is a collective “Oooah” from the housemates. He gives Ves a long goodbye, then says goodbye to everyone else and he exits the house. Greg tries to talk others into going outside, while the girls have a hug near the eviction stairs. Greg says that Dogs will be pumped. Dean says that he didn’t see that coming. Greg says the boys are starting to go. Rita and Mel take Vesna outside who is still quite upset. Dean says well done to Kate. Greg tells Kate he heard Dogs yelled out in the background while Gretel paused for her “It’s time to go…..” moment. Dean hugs Vesna as well now. Greg says the theory of girls always going first is now gone. Only 3 boys left now (Logans 1). Vesna says she is like this because she knows the boys don’t want her there. The boys, now on their own, say that they are getting smacked! Greg says next week has to be a double. In the bedroom with Christie, Ves says she can’t believe he is gone. Ves says no one makes her laugh as much as Dogs did. Dean wants a spa, but Greg says he is getting the flu. Greg says he is pleased he has a bed to himself now! Christie say she thought it would’ve been Kate because the public would love Ves & Dogs. Ves agrees, saying “Why did they break us up?”

9:38pm: Dean and Greg are talking near the dancefloor. Christie, at the table, whispers to Vesna ‘what do you think they are talking about?’ Tim is talking about the Kanga joke again, saying he was prepared to let it go until he realised that Dean was talking to everyone about it behind Tim’s back. He says he has to at least reply. He recounts his conversation with Dean yesterday. Greg says he can see where both are coming from. Christie and Vesna come to the bathroom. Christie says she doesn’t get it. She says that she feels Greg has been distant with her the last few days. She says she was trying to pick up what Tim was telling him. Vesna says she is going to be blunt and tells her “They probably weren’t even talking about you.” Vesna says that Greg probably doesn’t really give a shit about anything. Christie says that Greg has a vindictive side to him. Ves says they all do except Tim and Dogs. They decide to lie in bed. Once in the room, both girls say they hate the state of the room. Ves says they are pigs. Christie says she is being an idiot over this Greg thing. Vesna says “Why do you say that?” She says she thinks there is nothing there, but she wants to believe that he does care. Ves says it’s not that he doesn’t care, but he only wants to go to a certain point. Christie says she wants to get beyond that. Ves says that she never will.

10:29pm: Housemates gather in front of the television to see the Dog’s farewell message. He starts with Rita, saying she has bought zip and zang to the house since she arrived. He says she loves talking, but she should also try to listen while she talks. Rita laughs. Kate is next, his little Perth mate. He says she is a beautiful person and a genuine friend. He says she has been great for the house. He calls her a strategist. He looks forward to spending time with her outside the house. Next is Tim, who he calls the rock. He says Tim is special, even though he’s a good fibber! He says even if people can’t see how full of life and how he treats people, they will eventually. onto Deano. He says that he is his best mate, a mate for life. He wishes him all the best. Lastly Vesna. He says that she is awesome, a friend for life. He says she has helped him understand women. He says he can’t get enough of her. He says goodbye and Dogs is out.

10:54pm: Dean & Dave are in the spa. Dave says it was a good message. Dean again says he didn’t pick it this week. Dave says the house will be full of feelings and emotions. Dave says he isn’t going to talk about his feelings when people backstab and really don’t care. Dave says the girls might all start fighting with each other. Dean suggests throwing ‘the cat amongst the pigeons.’ Dave agrees. Vesna comes to the diary room. She says that Dogs was the only one who understood her, he was so patient. She says sometimes she couldn’t see that. She says she wishes he was here still. “To have a person like him makes the experience so much easier.” She says that he bought out every emotion and feeling out of her, the best and the worst. She says he was strong and gave her a lot of insight. She says Christie is like that, but it’s not the same. Rita has come out to talk to the boys. Rita says she can’t believe that you can’t see stars here. She comments about all the lights. Rita says if it was warm and you could see stars she would sleep outside. Dean says he saw one. Dave says your looking at one. Vesna walks out to join them. As she approaches, Dean says “So you ready to get out Dave?” Ves laughs. Dean says not everything is about Ves. Dean says that since Dogs is gone she is going to need a new target. Ves says that he wasn’t her target. Ves says he understood her a lot more than the two boys. Dave says that she should listen to him when he talks perhaps. Vesna says she can’t understand some of the words that come out of his mouth. Dave says he thinks that he treats Vesna as a male. Ves agrees. He says he will try to stop and think before he says it in the future.

12:12am: Logans come to the diary room. Greg says he would like to be nominated. He says he is getting bored, he wants a sniff as excitement. He wants something different. He says it’s hard to sit there and not know how they feel. Dave says it’s a houseful of females. Dave says he feels as if he has to give them a hug or something everytime they see anyone. Dave says they are too touchy.

Days 62 and 63

Day 62

9.40pm – FNL has finished and the housemates are getting ready to have a party night.

There are three boys in the reward room tonight (Dean and the Logans) so for the first time back outside the girls are outnumbering the boys. Christie feels good about, and Kate agrees screaming “I KNOW!”. Hotdogs says the only way the girls have power over the boys is because they scream over the top of the boys. Meanwhile in the rewards room the boys are toasting to their luxury time. Greg gives it 25 minutes before the girls go quiet. But that doesn’t look likely: they are all screaming and shouting and Vesna is up on the kitchen bench stomping. Tim has his arms up in the air as if it’s a tribal celebration. David is now looking through DVDs, and Dean comments he couldn’t be outside in the middle of the screaming.

In the kitchen talk turns to Vesna and Hotdogs. HD sarcastically says “she played me for a fool, now I know what she’s about I just can’t get away from her”. Tim talks about how Vesna is a comedian, he is obviously drunk. He adds that Vesna and Hotdogs are a perfect couple, but Hotdogs doesn’t think so. Vesna says “you’re so in denial, you’re so in denial”. Hotdogs gets serious now and says “I would never go out with a woman that whinges as much as you do”. “I could not stand going out with a girl that when you go out and there’s a group of guys she needs all the attention on her from all the guys.. that sickens me”. Vesna says she is not like that. Hotdogs has been living with her and he knows her, he says. But Vesna explains that they are in a plastic bubble and it’s not real “everything around his is plastic, look, plastic plastic plastic plastic plastic plastic!”.

In the bedroom Kate, Christie and Melanie are trying on each other’s underwear. With Kate away from the main group, Rita quesitons Tim about his “undying love of Kate”. He likes her but knows she doesn’t like him back. Hotdogs says Tim follows her around like a puppydog. Vesna wants to know the other side of the story and screams for Kate to come. But it’s too late: Rita goes back to the bedroom and relays what Tim said to Kate. Kate already knows this and confirms it, but she does feel back because it’s geniune feelings for her, not just a physical attraction thing. Kate brags that it happens all the time to her, even though she doesn’t lead anyone on. In the kitchen Tim tells Vesna to stop persuing Hotdogs.

Kate is wearing Christie’s underwear but with a towel wrapped around her. She is standing by the stove and Tim says that she should be wearing such flammable fabric near an open flame in an attempt to get her to drop the towel. She eventually does and the rest of the group cheer, except Hotdogs who has left the room. Tim says “you are the most amazingly attractive woman I have come across”.. and then to Vesna “she’s so hot”. He accidentally grated his hands on the cheese grater while looking at Kate. Hotdogs comes over and hugs Kate while she wears her towel. Vesna watches on as the two playfully flirt with each other.

BREAK

10.47pm – Hotdogs knows he’s going on Sunday. He is being punished by god by having to spend time with all the girls. Things get heated between him and Vesna and she screams “I can’t tolerate you anymore, you’ve turned into this thing.. that has rose from the dead”. Hotdogs leaves the dining table, but Vesna follows and asks “why do you hate me?”. Hotdogs keeps blocking her. He says “you repulse me Ves”. She teases and annoys him. Hotdogs can’t stand living with the 5 girls over the weekend. Vesna asks “what about this” and starts doing a silly stripper-type dance in the kitchen. Hotdogs says “oh save me god, please”, and screams “IT’S A PERSONAL CHALLENGE ISN’T IT!?”. Vesna lies down ontop of Hotdogs on the floor and he screams that his back hurts. Tim decides to climp on top of Vesna and says “I need you Hotdogs”. Rita joins in ontop of Tim in a huge human pile. Hotdogs screams “I have 180 kilos on me get off!”. They are all laughs, except Hotdogs. In the rewards room Dean explains Vesna thinks David likes her. The Logans laugh about it.

Hotdogs goes to the diary room. “It’s going to be a very testing weekend for me, I don’t know how I’m going to survive. I’m stuck with five females, they are mad and ooh… this is the hardest thing.. hopefully tomorrow from the point that we wake up we cling because I’m not going to be able to survive it. If I go on Sunday it will be my escape because I’m in purgatory at the moment. At the moment it’s a nuthouse and I can’t stand it… I’m in pain”.

In the bedroom Melanie explains the Big Brother house is a timebomb for thinkers. She has watched people’s behaviors in the house: She obvserved dominant people: Dean. The house has totally changed now that he’s away from the house tonight. Everyone else is really comfortable. Melanie has really gotten to like him, though. Hotdogs is in bed with Vesna and explains people are assuming there is something going on between them. Vesna doesn’t think so. Once they sort it out Hotdogs says Ves can go to bed now, but she doesn’t move. Instead she asks Hotdogs if he likes Mel. He laughs crazily and doesn’t answer.

Day 63

9.27am – The housemates are woken to begin their cleaning shift. They have an hour. The reward room boys emerge first in their underwear to find the house has been completely littered all over by Big Brother. Rita laughs when she sees the mess. There is rubbish everywhere: even at the bottom of the pool. The housemates get cleaning: most of the boys work outside. Girls do the living room while Hotdogs is doing the Kitchen. Big Brother annouces they have 30 minutes left. There is a problem outside where a lot of the cubes of foam are stuck in the grass and have to be pulled out by hand. BB annouces they have 10 minutes left. Dean eventually gets the paint cans at the bottom of the pool. When time is up the HMs all change back into their normal clothes. Everything looks pretty clean.

Emerging from the pool Christie flashes the other girls, who are all sunbathing. They agree it’s nice and relaxing having all the girls together – who cares what the boys are doing. The reward boys are in the reward room, commenting on “poor Hotdogs”. Dean says if he wins next week he will return the favour to the Logans, and Hotdog will miss out again. Back in the living room Tim explains Dean’s threats towards him after he revealed the “reverse kanga” prank. This is the first Vesna has heard of it. Tim explains “this is a person who has such a big ego that he cannot interpret a set of events without seeing him at the very centre”. Hotdogs and Melanie are listening in. Vesna comments that Hotdog’s liking of Dean is due to his insecurities. They start bickering again. He says “every time I talk to you, you always jump down my throat”. Vesna says Hotdogs has very poor judgement of people. He replies “the one person who you take your anger out in this house is me…”. He ends up leaving the kitchen, and there is ackwardness in the kitchen.

BREAK

2.40pm – The reward boys are all doing weights together. Vesna comes to see Hotdogs, who has made the bedroom his sanctuary. They both reiterate their points from the earlier argument. Vesna is mad because Hotdogs rates people. They start raising their voices at each other. HDs says she is the most insecure person on earth. Vesna says as soon as he is with the boys he changes and doesn’t care about her. Hotdogs says:

“The simplest thing for me to say is: I don’t like you. I don’t like you as a person, and I don’t care for you. So fuck off and don’t talk to me”.

Vesna storms out of the room and starts tending to tonight’s cooking. Outside Christie and Tim watch the boys work out. When asks who has the biggest muscles, Tim says Greg does. “Dean looks muscley but he just has a big frame and that big chest that sticks out like a barrel”. Tim adds he doesn’t have the frame for muscles – it’s so hard to put on weight for him. Chrisitie is fixated by the boy’s muscles “you can just see them all move… look at that… oh… see thats hot”. Melanie is called to feed the animals. HMs are called to feed the animals. Rita takes the alpaca. Christie comments that Rita does not shut up. Hotdogs and the rest of the boys agree. Hotdogs takes the opportunity to bitch about Rita and the rest of the girls. Dean joins in. They high-five.

BREAK

4.56pm – The wall in the bedroom has been removed and some beds are also gone. They all try to organise the new sleeping arrangements. Big Brother annouces the results of the weekly task: they have passed. They have 288 dollars to spend on next week’s budget. The boys comment they should have bet 100%, and go outside to do weights. Hotdogs goes to see Vesna and she wants him to make up his mind: either he likes her or not. Hotdogs tries to avoid the question and two start discussing the same things they did before. Eventually they hug and Hotdogs says he’s sorry.

8.26pm – The rewards room boys are having pizza in the rewards room. Back in the living room Mel says it’s great to have all this girl time. Hotdogs sarcastically says he loves it, but in all seriousness it’s nice and calm in there.

BREAK

7.54pm – Christie comes to the diary room. She explains with Dean, Greg and David in the rewards room she has realised how close she was to them. She isn’t really partnered up with any of housemates and she’s drifting between people right now. Despite this “its going well”.

Later Vesna bangs on the reward room door and then runs away. David answers the door and Kate says “it was your girlfriend”. David collects up a whole bunch of cushions to throw on her. He jumps on her in bed and she screams and laughs.

Back in the rewards room Greg asks Dean “who’s a better standard, the blokes or the chicks”. Unsurprisingly Dean says “the gentlemen”, and goes on to justify his answer – the boys take pride in…. (he trails off). He says there is a whole buffet of boys in here, and it’s driving the girls crazy in lust. David is swatting imaginary fruit flies on Vesna’s head. She tells him to shift from the area. Dean tells Greg that Rita has a thing for her. Greg doesn’t want to hear that. Once again Rita is nervous about going. Christie says “everything will be fine”.
