Day 32

9:52am: Housemates are all in bed with the lights on. An alarm rings and Hotdogs and Vesna soon realise it’s theirs. Kate is up and wondering what is going on; when she realises it’s not her bell, she falls back onto a bed exhausted. BB tells the two on duty that he would like an Omelette and a cappuccino. They set about making theirs when another alarm sounds. Greg jumps from bed and gets ready, but there is no sign of Christie. Vesna thinks that alarm is for everyone. Christie has suddenly appeared and tells the new pair that he would like a stack of six pancakes. Tim, sleeply looking, is watching on. We get to see the pairs preparing the meals for a few seconds, before Hotdogs and Vesna wheel their meal into the diary room for BB to check. BB tells them to leave the meal on the table, and take the trolley back out with them for the next group. Next it’s Greg & Christie’s turn to enter the diary room, and BB looks at the pancakes, surrounded by strawberries.

1:53pm: Glenn and Greg are out sunbaking. Greg tells Glenn that Christie was ‘really weird’ last night. Greg explains that he was saying that it was basically a ‘comfort’ thing for him between the two. He goes onto say that it felt like a mini “BB breakup”. Glenn laughs. Greg says it was childish, but adds that they still had a few pashes after it. Greg says he’s doing it for something to do, but then decides to also add “I shouldn’t say that, I do like her.” Glenn starts talking about his woman, Michelle. He says that if she is evicted, he should probably try and crack on to Kate. But he’ll be nice about it, he’ll wait a week. He devises a plan to comfort Kate when she is upset should Michelle be evicted on Sunday. Greg laughs. Greg says that it’s hard to say goodbye to anyone who is evicted, but also says “at the end of the day, we’ve only known them a month.” Greg agrees, saying “your just another bum in the shower in here.”

5:34pm: The girls (Christie, Kate, Geneva, Michelle) are sitting at the table. Christie decides to have a cold shower. She says ‘crazy day’ as she leaves the table. Kate says everyone is saying ‘crazy day’. Michelle reveals it’s because of Greg. She goes onto tell the others that Greg told her last night that he basically didn’t have feelings for her. Rachael walks by and sits down at the table. Geneva is unsure if Greg would say that, saying that whenever she walks by Greg he always puts out his hand. Geneva is convinced that if Greg didn’t like her, he wouldn’t be holding out the hand. Rachael asks what Dave was saying to Michelle last night. Michelle doesn’t answer, but Rachael says “C’mon, you know.” Michelle says they weren’t really talking about Greg and Christie, but with the help of Rachael telling the others, it’s revealed they were saying that they though that Greg & Christie’s relationship was a bit ‘high school’ and a bit immature. Geneva says “What?” Michelle says that Dave reckons Greg might be backing off a bit because he knows that Christie talks about everything that happens between them to the girls. Dave reckons that Greg doesn’t want little chats all around the house to be happening about the two of them. Geneva asks Michelle whether she told Christie this, but Michelle says she didn’t. Kate says with a little grin on her face “What are you doing?” Michelle says that Dave was talking privately to her. Rachael goes to the bathroom to talk to Christie. She says that she wants to tell her whats going on because she thinks a ‘lot of people in her are betraying you (Christie).” Rachael begins her version of the story, saying that Dave doesn’t like spending time with Christie or Geneva because they act like school children. Rachael says that he (assuming Greg) knows that you’ve been talking about him to others. She says she heard Dave tell Michelle that she was more ‘mature’ about it all, and in Rachael’s eyes Michelle was sucking up to Dave to get closer to Glenn. Christie, falling for it hook line and sinker, says that Michelle is two faced because she doesn’t like bitchiness. Christie decides to go and talk to Michelle, but asks Rachael how she should go about it. Christie goes to the bedroom, and Rachael returns to the table where she says to Michelle that she should tell her about the conversation with Dave. She says she will. Rachael says that she didn’t reveal the whole conversation, saying to Geneva it was also about her. Michelle says it was a private conversation and it had nothing to do with her and who Michelle tells. Rachael starts walking away, but Michelle has the parting shot saying “If someone comes and tells me something, it’s not up to me to tell everyone about it.” Chrisie is the bedroom is by herself, saying that ‘the girls are all bastards.’

5:55pm: Rachael decides to talk to Dave about the conversation she overheard last night. Dave launches into her straight away saying “What are you talking about it for? It’s to do with Michelle and I, and Christie has a little bit to do with it.” Rachael tells Dave that Michelle is the one gossiping. Dave says Michelle doesn’t gossip. Christie, still on the other side of the room, is asked by Rachael if Michelle gossips. Christie decides to speak up and asks “So what was spoken about me?” Dean, having just walked into the room, quickly backtracks and says he’ll get out. He doesn’t though. Michelle enters the room. Rachael exclaims that she is not trying to cause trouble. Michelle says “Yes you are.” Michelle continues to launch into her, saying “You should stay the f*** out of other peoples business. Christie just wants to know ‘what was said’, and finally, both Michelle and Dave are willing to tell her. Michelle reveals it was simply about Kate and Geneva and how he feels about them. Dave cuts in and starts talking, but Rachael again interrupts, saying it was about Kate at the end, but….before Michelle says “What are you doing here, go away.” Michelle says that Rachael obviously came into the conversation half way through and has no idea what she is talking about. Rachael, walking away, says to Michelle “I would have stuck up for the girls.” Michelle yells that there was nothing to stick up for. Christie starts repeating what she has been told, asking Dave whether it was about being immature and they “kiss all the boys”. Dave, really angry at this stage, says with the gritted teeth, “You better shut your mouth” to Rachael. Dave tells her to go and clean her ears out immediately. Michelle says “Your a *******”, the swear word bleeped out so even I can’t tell what it was. Michelle says that she only heard one bit of the conversation and that she wanted to stir the pot and get Christie offside from the rest of the house. Christie says “I’m really angry.” Michelle says to Rachael that she wants her to leave the room. Rachael says she is not leaving, leaving Michelle to say that she wants to talk to her girlfriend and it has nothing to do with her. Rachael says “if shes your girlfriend, you should have stuck up for her yesterday.” Michelle, for what feels like the 8th time exclaims that there was nothing to stick up for. Rachael says “OK” and leaves the room. Christie says “I have had a shit day…” but Michelle interrupts, saying that all Dave said was that Greg might be worried about Christie reporting everything about their relationship back to the girls. Christie asks why she didn’t tell her, and Michelle says she completely forgot. Christie says she feels like a tool because Dave thinks that she’s immature. Michelle says that he thinks Geneva is too. Christie starts crying saying she feels like an idiot.

Rachael comes to diary room upset. She says she was just trying to do the right thing. She says she wasn’t trying to start trouble, rather she was just trying to look after Christie. She says that all the housemates think that she has just come into cause conflict and that this is just another one of her ‘games.’

8:12pm: Rachael comes to the kitchen bench and sits down next to Christie and apologies, saying that it wasn’t her intention, and that she misinterupted. She says the last thing she wanted was for her to be upset. Christie says that she thought she was out to cause trouble. Christie tells her to eat her dinner, and she goes and gets it, and the icyness from Michelle can be seen from a mile away as she is in Rachael’s way in the kitchen. Rachael takes her meal and sits on her bed, but starts crying. Back in the kitchen, Michelle learns that she admitted to being wrong. Michelle says that if she wants to be nice to her thats fine, but Christie says she just wants to stay out of her way for a while. Kate comes to the bedroom to talk to her. Rachael says she should just stay out of the way. Kate says that she believe that Rachael thought she was right. Kate goes onto suggest that she was trying to get closer to Christie by telling her the ‘information’, but in doing so she probably pushed her further away. Kate says you just have to look at the positives. Rachael exclaims “positives!”. Kate says she just needs to start again with everyone.

10:11pm: Hotdogs returns to the house from the diary room with a mobile phone containing his video message. He tells Tim he’s got it, and sits down near the kitchen table to listen to it. He starts crying immediately, as it shows both his parents. After viewing it, he comes to the bedroom where he explains to the others that about 3 years ago his dad had a massive stroke and the doctors didn’t think he would make it. Geneva comes over and gives him a hug. He says that his mum and himself care for his dad on a daily basis. He says to all of them that they are free to watch the video with him if they want to. They all gather round the phone on Dean’s bed, and laugh when his Dad refers to hip-hop as the new ‘jive’ and his Mum asking whether he could dance the tango. Hotdogs explains that he wanted to tell them all, but two newbies came in and he just didn’t. He asks them to understand.

10:27pm: Christie and Greg are alone in the kitchen. Christie says she feels weird talking to him now that she knows he feels awkward. Christie explains that in the beginning she just wanted to have some fun, but lately she was thinking that perhaps she did like Greg. Christie says it’ll change things between the two. Greg agrees, but then says “It’ll only be weird if we make it weird.” Greg jokes that he’ll limit Christie to one sleepover a week. Greg says he’s happy to continue with what they are doing, and Christie agrees.

Day 31 Uplate

12:00am: Mike decides he wants some Eggs Benedict, so Big Brother raises an alarm. Glenn and Michelle have one minute to get into uniform and report to the kitchen for duty. The bedroom is an absolute mess though because of a practicle joke from the boys. They have taken all the girls clothes out of the drawers and left them on beds but also put them into other people’s drawers. Anyway, they both arrive in the kitchen. Dean is standing by trying to tell them in a round about way to put the timer on. He keeps asking Greg if he would put the timer on when he does it. Glenn wakes up and puts the timer on. They set to work, because Big Brother has just announced what snack he would like. They have 15 minutes. Greg and Tim watch on, but we cut to the bedroom where Rachael and Dean are having another argument. Geneva is also involved though this time, siding with Rachael I think. They seem to be arguing about the joke the guys played on the girls. Dean is saying he had nothing to do with it. However, he knew about it. The girls think that he should have stopped it though. Dean says that if the girls were in the same position they wouldn’t stop the joke. Geneva finally agrees with Dean, but Rachael doesn’t. Dean says “You’ve got sense (Geneva), you haven’t (Rachael)” Cut back to the kitchen where the guys are struggling to get the food to BB on time. They decide they have run out of time and start to deliver the food to the diary room. Michelle goes to look for something, Glenn finds it, but in doing so, the diary room door closes without them entering. They go in now though. First time we’ve been allowed in the DR ever on Uplate I think, MIchelle says “BB, your dinner is served.” BB asks them to lift up the top again, and it doesn’t look very nice. BB says that is all though. Back to the house after Mike, we’re in the kitchen. Hotdogs is trying to figure out how to cook an item. He thinks he has the routine down pat. Into the bedroom, Dean and Geneva are saying that they are on the same wavelenght. Dean says the funny thing about the jokes played tonight is that he now has to unpack his stuff seeing it’s on his bed. He says he wasn’t going to. Geneva is upset because someone has stolen her tim tam. Dogs says that no one took it. Rachael comes in and says that someone stole hers as well. Wow, argument between dogs and Geneva. Dogs says that Geneva has been giving him attitude all day. He says he thought she was his friend. Geneva says that something is wrong with him and shes not the only person who thinks so. Dogs walks away or something, and Geneva says “geez, thats such a Christie attitude.”

12:33am: Into the bathroom we go. Dave, Greg, Glenn and Tim are devising a joke for the morning. They think they will take there sheets out tomorrow suggesting that someone put something in them, and say “thats gone too far.” They decide they will do it to Hotdogs without telling him. Geneva comes in and asks them if her tits look weird in the top. The guys think she looks good. They talk about Hotdog’s dummy spit. They say it wasn’t all acting. Someone says that he got pissed off about the tim tams because he thinks that Christie is stealing them. Tim raises a good point saying that Hotdogs said that he would give all his tim tams to Kate anyway cause she voted for him for the phone message. They all laugh! Dean comes in and they tell him of the plans. They say they are going to do it to Hotdogs as well and not tell him. Dean says they would have fone it to him if he hadn’t come into the room! They say ‘nah!’. Dean starts telling them about the debate they had earlier.

12:46am: Geneva and Christie lying on a bed. Christie whispers that Dave is pissing her off. She quickly gets up to get her pillows or something. Christie reckons she is missing quite a bit of underwear. The guys say they didn’t take anything out of the room. Rachael says ‘except the tim tam.’ Christie is trying on someone’s bra. Both the girls and the guys are making plays for some reason to perform tomorrow. Christie asks Greg how their play is going. She says that the girls one is rockin. Cut to the bathroom. Dave is saying that he is sick of someone. He says that if he heard her saying something bad about Greg he would be really mad. Perhaps he’s talking about Christie. Kate, also there, is saying “Yeh I know…etc” Dave decides to use a ball he has to touch every panel on one side of the bathroom.

12:58am: Dave and Geneva’s sound plays, and they hurry to get on their clothes. Reception is lost for 2 seconds. They wash their hands, then BB asks them to make Pancakes. GOLD! BB tells Tim & Rachael to cook at the same time. They can’t believe it, but start to get ready. They wash their hands, and BB asks them to make a hamburger meal. You can hardly hear BB cause Dave talks right over him. They have numbers for each meal, and in the numbered tubs are all the ingredients for each dish. Everyone trying to do everything, it’s mayhem in the kitchen. Go on, get another group in there! Tim seems to be worried with Rachael, haven’t really heard from Dave & Geneva that much as they go about their pancakes. Someone is yelling in the background, and Rachael says Shush! Greg asks if they are going alright. Tim says yeh. Tim is wondering where the recipe book is!

1:10am: Dave & Geneva are ready to go into the diary room with their meal. Dave shows BB it, and explains it. BB says that is all, but Dave asks about the wheeled table they bought the meal on. BB says that they can hand deliver it. Back outside it’s mayhem. Rachael has the plate ready but it has no fries. They realise just in time, and get them out of the oven. Rachael screams that they are cold! She tells Michelle they should have left the oven on. Dean says who cares, just whack them on the plate. They get in there and BB asks them what flavour the milkshake is. Tim says strawberry. They come out of the diary room and into the airlock and they decide to tell everyone that BB said they got it completely right down to the colours of the straws. Kate doesn’t believe them once told. Rachael says the oven is staying on from now on. The house could be burned down tomorrow…Glenn goes to the couch and Michelle lies on him.

1:25am: Hotdogs and Christie are sharing a laugh in the kitchen. Vesna asks Dogs if he wants a coffe. He says yeh, but then offers to make them. Vesna says to Kate that when they get some eggs they should make eggs inside potatoes or something. She tells Kate that she is making cabbage rolls for lunch tomorrow. The housemates start singing various songs. Geneva says she didn’t think they got the pancakes into BB in time. Perhaps it was Michelle who said it. I don’t know. Christie enters the room and sings something she is making up on the spot.

1:36am: Geneva wants to have a nap. Dean comes over for a few minutes, but makes a smell and leaves. Christie also there, goes back to her bed with Greg. They don’t really talk that much, but are watching something on the other side of the room. Christie gets up and finally the camera follows it. It’s a paper aeroplane comp, and Christie grabs both planes and says that she is great, and it’s all about something or other. She throws it twice, both are crap. She goes back to bed and says that Greg is weird tonight. She asks if he has any chocolate left, and asks him to go and get it. Back after Mike, Glenn cuts up something in Hotdogs bed, then hides the evidence over in Tim’s bed I think. They start singing “Smelleycat.”

1:50am: Glenn, Dave and Dean are cutting up paper on a bed. Michelle and Christie are lying on a bed, and Christie starts singing. Out to the kitchen, Rachael is looking for a particular frypan. Kate is washing up. Greg comes out and starts trying to sleep on the couch. He says that they are flicking stuff in the bedroom and won’t shutup and he needs to get up early tomorrow for the animals. Michelle comes out. Hotdogs starts taking off Elvis, so we go to the bedroom where the lights are out. Christie has joined the boys on the bed. She hits Dave with something, and it felt like it might’ve hurt. They are using the paper with rubber bands and shooting them at Christie. Christie chucks one at Dave, and it gets him in the eye. Or so they are making out. They are half laughing so I think it’s a joke. She comes over to have a look, and Dave just scares the crap out of her. The guys reckon that Dave should get a logie for that performance. Dean tries to get Christie but misses. They invite Rachael over to the bed and tell her to run to Shearers bed. Dean gets her great. She screams a lot. BB tells the housemates not to sing commercial music. Hotdogs enters and nearly gets hit. He turns back, then says that it could take an eye out. Dean says to Rachael is such a great voice “come over and we’ll play another game.” Christie is the next to get hit. At 2:08am, Dreamworld says goodnight.

8.48am – Christie and Michelle are up jogging around. Tim is up to water the garden and Rachael wishes him well. Tim scares Christie outside while she jogs around. Big Brother calls Vesna to the diary room – he asks for her to bring the carpet sweeper with her. A few nights ago Vesna mentioned the floor of the diary room needs cleaning, now Big Brother wants her to do it. She gets cracking, tired and annoyed. She sweeps a few times and says the sweeper isn’t working. Back in the bedroom Christie wants to know some gossip. Geneva tells about Glenn and Michelle kissing in bed last night. Dean says they are very gossipy – Christie says it’s only because of being in the house. Christie goes to close the door so no one else hears. Meanwhile Vesna is telling Big Brother the cleaner isn’t working – she needs something with sticky tape on it that rolls. Geneva didn’t think Vesna and Hotdogs would get together. Vesna has told Dean she’s not attracted to him. Hotdogs feels Vesna is using him as her comfort zone, and it’s annoying how she’s always around. Dean finds it funny Hotdogs goes along with Vesna’s suggestions that he do all the cleaning and washing. Vesna is free to leave the diary room now.

11.38am – All housemates to the bedroom. Geneva to the diary room. Geneva says “woo they picked me they picked me, its cos I’m cool”. The housemates find costumes for the task in the bedroom. BB tells them they are not to touch them until notified. BB is giving Geneva an envelope with task instructions. The housemates are on a 24 hour housekeeping task – there is to be chef/waiter pairs. The boys say 100% wager of the budget while the girls mostly say 75%. Glenn has the deciding vote – and they ask if he’s with the boys or the girls. Glenn says he doesn’t want to sit around wondering, so he goes with 100%. Pairing up leads to some confusion – Rachael clearly states she wants to be with Tim, and Vesna hints at going with Hotdogs, but he doesn’t look too keen.

BREAK

12.46pm – First couple to the diary room. Housemates are all in their costumes for the task. BB is telling the first couple – Geneva and David, what their bell tone is. Their’s sounds like a school bell. Glenn and Michelle’s is a clanging noise. Dean and Kate a bell. Greg Christie a buzzer. Tim, Rachael ringing bells. Vesna, Hotdogs is small bells. All housemates is a fire alarm – this means Big Brother wants them all to cook.

4.37pm – Michelle is telling Christie about her kissing session with Glenn last night. She talks about having their legs over each other. Michelle says it was such a good kiss with him. Slow tounge, sensual. Christie is entranced. Meanwhile Glenn is doing weight training with the twins. Michelle says she kissed Glenn a few times then pulled back because she doesn’t know her feelings. Michelle says she still wants to kiss him today but she doesn’t know why. Greg is now weight training. Christie is now talking about being with Greg – they kissed but it was brief. She says he’s very standoffish with girls and got nervous. Tim is now weight training – badly.

5.35pm – Hotdogs is telling the boys Geneva is in a bad mood with him. They all talk about how she might be his missus. Tim and Rachael’s bell suddenly goes off and they run inside while getting dressed. They start washing their hands while the other housemates cheer them on. Big Brother says he wants spaghetti. Dean is saying “good job good job” while the couple go on to cook. They seem to be coming along without many problems. They take the meal into the diary room to present to Big Brother. “Big Brother your meal is served”.

BREAK

8.04pm – David is cooking dinner for the housemates while Vesna goes to the diary room. The housemates are coming to dinner. Vesna tells BB she feels she has no place with the girls – they aren’t very good at welcoming, they aren’t warm people. I’m the type of person to watch first, and I can step in, but even if I did it wouldn’t do anything. BB suggests she talk to the other housemates about her feelings. Everyone is around the dinner table now, and no one has served up dinner for Vesna. She asks where her plate is, and wants to know where it is. David serves up a bowl of food for her. He says he asked if everyone was there and they all said yes. Vesna says “yeah thats because I’m invisible in here”. David tells her to lighten up.

8.53pm – Vesna is along in the bedroom when Dean comes in to see how she is feeling. He asks if she misses family, friends and if she’s sick of everyone in the house. She says yeah – everyone is in their own little world and ignoring her. Vesna says normally she is a loud person but in this situation she feels invisible. She uses the diary room before as an example that no one notices she’s gone. Dean says all the plates were dished up by the housemates and everyone had a plate, which is why they didn’t realise. He adds that when it comes to food in the house – it’s like pigs to a troff.

10.00pm – Christie and Geneva are looking for people’s chocolate they rationed out yesterday. Christie steals a timtam from David’s dresser draw and they split it. Christie says you gotta enjoy it slowly, talking with a mouth full of biscuit.

BREAK

12.20am – Hotdogs is talking to Geneva in the bedroom, and she is annoyed at him. Hotdogs says she has been a bitch to him all day, and wants to sort it out.

Hotdogs: “You have been a bitch to me all day today, and I don’t know what your problem is. Lets just sort it out because if thats the way you want to be I’m fucking happy but I thought we were friends”

Geneva: “Well if I am why not back off a bit, Dogs? Why not back off a bit? And stop shoving it in my face”

Hotdogs: “You have started on me…”

Geneva: “You don’t know that for sure, Dogs, you can’t guarentee that I started it. Cos you been acting pretty weird lately yourself and I’m not the only one that thinks so”

Hotdogs: “Weird? As in when?”

Geneva: “As in the last couple of days. So stop shoving yourself in my face because maybe I need a break, we live together 24/7 and you’ve been acting like… … I said we’ll talk later”

Hotdogs: “Sweet, don’t worry about it then”

Geneva: “Gee, thats really Christie attitude to have”

Rachael screams out “oooh fire in the house tonight!”

1.36am – Hotdogs sits down with Vesna and Vesna asks if he talked to Geneva. Hotdogs says it didn’t happen.

Hotdogs: “I’ve tried to talk to her since yesterday, if she wants to be like that…”

Vesna: “What did she say to you?”

Hotdogs: “She said later so when she’s ready to talk to me she can talk to me”

(Meanwhile some one in the background is screaming loudly)

Vesna: “Does she want more than just friends?”

Hotdogs: “She’s like, tried to kiss me about three times since I’ve been in here, and I’m not interested”

Vesna: “Really?”

Hotdogs: “I don’t find her attractive. … Since you’ve been here it’s been…”

Vesna: “I know it’s me… I know it is”

Hotdogs: “Like tonight she said ‘you’ve been acting weird these last couple of days’ and I knew straight away thats what shes talking about. She’s upset because I spend time with you. And I’m not being rude saying I’m not attracted to her”

Vesna: “No, you can’t be attracted to everybody”

Hotdogs: “I just wanna be friends in here ya know? I don’t need anything in here… I don’t think I need anything in here”

Vesna: “So do you find me attractive?”

Hotdogs: “Yeah, I said that”

Hotdogs smiles

Vesna: “So if I kissed you would you respond?”

Hotdogs: “I don’t know… I’m not going to open myself up and say yes”

Vesna: “Why?”

Hotdogs: “Because you might not want to kiss me”

The both laugh

2.42am – Glenn jumps into Michelle’s bed and says “you were just waiting for me”. She jokingly says no. She says she knows he was watching her. Glenn says “was just checking you out”. Christie meanwhile is asking Greg how he sees her as a __? He says definately a comfot thing and a good friendship thing. Christie says its messing with her head heaps. She doesn’t feel comfortable but wants to tell him its kinda weird. On the other side of the bedroom Glenn and Michelle are having a large pash session with each other. If thats not enough Vesna is jumping into Hotdog’s arms in their bed. Christie and Greg continue the bedroom shenanigans with a pash to rival Glenn and Michelle.

Day 30 Uplate

11:46pm: Hotdogs is in bed talking to Vesna, lights are out in the bedroom. He says it’s such a trip being part of it all. Vesna says it all has happened so quick. After a bit of silence between the two, we jump beds to Michelle and Glenn talking to each other. Michelle is explaining how the person she took into lockdown was going to try to take all the other friends who were in lockdown with the other housemates out for a huge night that first night the housemates went in. Michelle says that she told her friend that there was bound to be a few hotties in the group. Glenn says that his mate has hit ute, and is just going to stay around Brisbane until he gets out of the house. We’re taken back to Vesna and Hotdogs. Hotdogs says he was ready to leave in week three, cause he didn’t realise how much it would hurt him being away from his mum and dad. He goes onto say that he really hadn’t been able to talk to anyone in the house because he didn’t trust anyone until he decided to trust Geneva cause he really doesn’t think that she is playing a game. He says he felt like a million dollars after he had spoken to her. He says that he is not here to prove anything to anybody. Vesna asks him if it gets better every week. Hotdogs says it does for him, but he’s unsure about the others. Vesna says she is 29 in 7 months. Hotdogs says life begins at 30. Lots of talk elsewhere in the room, but we have the cam still on these two who aren’t very talkative tonight. Hotdogs asks Vesna that when they get out, whether she will tell him the things that they can’t say inside. Vesna says yeh. Hotdogs says it would only be a strike and fine, would it be worth spilling now? Vesna says “You know when you love someone…and you can’t be with them….does it count?” Hotdogs says he has no idea what she’s talking about. Basically she means that if she was with someone previously but now no longer cause they are scared, she wants to know if it she counts (the love she has for this person). Hotdogs says that if you love someone of course it counts. She starts telling him about a relationship that was never meant to last. “It was meant to be a fun thing.” Basically they saw each other every second day for 4 months but she never actually called him her boyfriend. She says he was 21. She called an end to it because she was really to settle down and have responsibilites etc, wheras he wasn’t. Hotdogs says that you have to move on in that situation, and that if the person grows up and realises that they want you, then they’ll find you. Dean yells out “oh, cabbage ass” in the background referring to Christie. We go back to Glenn and Michelle. Michelle is saying that all her boyfriends have been different.

12:16am: Hotdogs says that it would be great to be able to come onto BB with your brother. Vesna agrees. The room seems more quiet now. Vesna says that Kate is really nice. Hotdogs says she is a top chick. Vesna says she hopes she is nice. Dogs says it would be nice to see some real titties. He tries to get up her jumper with his hand, but he’s not successful.

12:38am: Kissing going on between Michelle and Glenn, but we’re taken back to Mike and Mike. We get back to them in the bed, and you can hardly see anything, but lots of kissing. Finally they stop, then Glenn is still doing something to her because they suddenly stop when Michelle thinks that she hears something. She says “Nah it’s ok” 5 second later. A little later after nothing happens for a while, Michelle gets up to go to the toilet. She soon returns after washing her hands.

Housemates are now all asleep so there is nothing else to say!

9.15am – It’s shopping time. Logans are the shopper/chef now. The Logans have 30 seconds to decide who will be shopper or chef. Dave say she will be chef. The HMs discuss personal items. Some of the girls want chocolate, some want messages. Glenn looks dead asleep. Greg goes into the supermarket. Video messages are now $50, and they can only be for one housemate. Greg swears A LOT. Outside the housemates are discussing having a BBQ when BB annouces a $5000 for the derogatory remarks he just said. Outside the girls are wondering what he said. They joke it would be funny if Greg found there were no family messages – close!. BB announces the supermarket is now closed. Greg is panting after furiously trying to get everything through the scanner and bagging it. There is $57 left on the screen so Greg tries to hide the screen. Greg explains the new $50 rule on the video messages. Greg tells them there was only $40 left. The HMs comment it wasn’t half an hour he had in the supermarket.

The HMs seem to say Kate is to have a video message. Kate in the bedroom says she won’t take the message. Rachael tells her to stop being so selfless, because everyone has issues. Kate, upset about the fact she probably wont’ be getting a message, goes to the diary room while the other HMs try to work out how to split the chocolate. Kate tells BB she is extremely angry and is scared she will go off at some one unintentionally. She says she doesn’t want to be out there and be really upset, leading to people giving her a sympathy message. She doesn’t want people to feel sorry for her. She is upset because she’s been waiting all week for the message, and had to do a big personal task and now she wont’ get a message from home. BB asks Kate who she’s angry at: Kate says “I’m angry at you, really angry at you”.

BREAK

11.16am – HMs are in the bathroom cleaning up, brushing their teeth. Kate and Tim are talking about the bed swap last night. Kate says if some one asked “can I sleep with you tonight”, she would do it. Tim says if he asked her then everyone would make a big deal about it. Tim says “I’d be worried you’d try to pash me and touch my body”. Kate says maybe thats why she brought it up in a general context rather than erotically. Michelle tells the Logans they should split the chocolate up for the housemates – chocolate for 12 housemates. In the bathroom Tim tells Glenn he really likes Kate: “intriguing delicious person”. Glenn says she has a sexy school teacher look about her. He finds he is getting tounge tied around her. The HMs are splitting up different chocolate biscuits on the kitchen table. Tim is still talking about Kate’s tattoos and her opinionated attitude. “She is a contradiction and thats what makes her appealing”. Meanwhile Kate is chowing down on a choc bicuit. Tim says Kate’s smile is intoxicating: “the sun would shine”. Glenn has also noticed Kate’s smile – her whole face changes, not just her mouth.

BREAK

12.21pm – David announces they have to vote on who takes the video. He recommends they all sit around the table, have a think and explain who they think should get a message from their family.

The housemate are all generally silent around the table. The message is going to Hotdogs and he watches Kate leave for the bedroom. He stops her for a hug. She says she wouldn’t have accepted it anyway, but she is annoyed about the whole situation.

Later outside Christie tells Geneva she had prepared not to get a message. Geneva says she had a really big boost and this was so unexpected. She says whenever she sees her sister she feels better instantly. In the bedroom Hotdogs is telling Dean earlier probably made him seem selfish but he really wants to get a message. Dean says if he voted for himself it wouldn’t have done it anyway. Kate is telling Michelle she would have forfitted to Hotdogs anyway. She says there are some times when Hotdogs is really selfish. Michelle totally agrees and says she can’t trust him at all. “He will do anything to get something for himself”.

BREAK

8.26pm – This is Big Brother. The nominees are Dean, Christie, Hotdogs and Michelle. Rachael is called to the diary room for nominate deductions. Rachael chooses Christie – she has made her feel the most welcome and she’s a wonderful girl. Rachael returns to the lounge room. This is Big Brother. The new nominees are Dean, Hotdogs and Michelle. Rachael says sorry and it was a touch decision. Hotdogs says no worries. Chrisite hugs Rachael and Rachael says “you are such a wonderful person”.

9.29pm – Outside the girls tell Rachael they thought she’s pick Hotdogs. Rach says there is more to him than meets the eye. He was so glum even after getting a video message “there has got to be something in his life he hasn’t got”. Rachael says she is similar and can probably see the same. Geneva knows about Hotdog’s dad but doesn’t say anything. Christie says it’s good Rachael can read body language like that. Rach gets up to go to bed and Hotdogs joggs by and playfully pushes her back on a beanbag. Dean is jogging too but ignores Rachael. After she leaves Christie says Rach has a real sensitive side. The other girls quickly join Rachael in the bedroom. Hotdogs and Dean are working out while Geneva watches them. They begin talking about Rachael. Dean says “you gotta give her credit”. Geneva says she’s been nice to her so far. Hotdogs and Dean say they don’t care and Rach is trying to play the other housemates. Dean says “fuck it”. Geneva says “yeah you’re a big surprise”.

In the bedroom Hotdogs is saying to himself “I’m really looking foward to seeing his Mum and Dad”. He says a prayer. Michelle and Glenn are in bed together later in the night talking about their life. Christie gets into Greg’s bed and says “sorry I’m late honey”. Glenn has an empty bed but Michelle is keeping him company. They are pashing each other – but not quietly. The two are slurping it up over the microphones.

11.48am – Rachael and Tim are spending their last day in the reward room. They are choosing a movie to watch. When they agree on what to do Rachael says “great minds think alike”. Meanwhile the boys are exercising outside and KAate and Michelle are checking out Dave while he skips. Michelle says he has a hot torso, arms, chest. Kate really likes his pecks. David is skipping unaware. Kate says they could just stand there all day. In the reward room Rachael and Tim are watching a sad movie and Rachael is in tears. Christie joins Michelle and Kate in checking out David. They call comment on his pecks again. Christie says “far out!”. They all giggle and laugh at David’s skipping techniques. Outside you can hear them cackling loudly.

In the rewards room Rachael says the movie they just watched hit home hard because she had to leave her family when she was very young. Rachael is in tears and lies on Tim for comfort. Rachael says its hard because she raised her younger brothers and when Rachael left her brothers missed them so much.She feels selfish for leaving. They get up and Tim gives her another comfort hug. Rachael explains how her best friend’s parents got custody of her when she was 14 and it was a happy time because she finally got to live like a teenager. Her new parents also taught her to be the strong person she is today. “Some people doubt themselves so much… there is no such word in the dictionary as can’t, some kids need to be told that or they’re going to doubt themsevles for the rest of their life”. Rachael was scared she’d end up like her mum: getting pregnant early and not having any ambitions.

BREAK

4.02pm – The boys are playing a game with balls on the checkered floor. In the bedroom the girls are discussing shopping and whether the housemates should have their own present. Michelle’s upper lip is looking especially dark today. Vesna wants to know if they get mouthwash – but Michelle clairfies the present is something personal just to them. Michelle says mouthwash is something you can go without, but Vesna says she’s been using mouthwash since she was 12. Michelle says it’s not a necessity. Amid the boys playing their game Vesna goes to the diary room. She tells Big Brother Michelle was out of line about the mouthwash incident. Vesna says Michelle is being downright selfish – “I feel like I’m in high school and she’s one of those girls who has control over the other girls and tells you want you can do and what you can’t do”. Christie is in the bedroom now and says all the girls have gotten so close. Geneva says they will all be the girls who go get coffee…. except Michelle. In the kitchen Rachael is talking to Michael about who she likes. She feels she’s not getting all that close with everyone. She says Kate is being understanding only out of obligation for playing the game.

8.14pm – It’s time to go Michael. He chuckles and gives the girls a hug. Rachael starts crying loudly immediately, much to the confusion of the other housemates. Instead of saying goodbye at the stairs while the other housemates cheer Michael on, she walks around and sits on the couch. Geneva is in the toilet crying about Michael. Michelle jokes about how Rachael “knew Michael so well”. Rachael comes over to the boys outside and asks if the twins want to take over as shopper chef. They say they need 15 minutes or so and will discuss it later. Rachael gets offended and storms back inside. Christie says she can’t work out why Rachael was so upset about Michael leaving “she so weird, shes so weird!”. Tim says she probably has an interesting background and should be given a chance. Rachael goes into the bedroom and cries on a bed. Christie outside says she will leave Geneva for now. This whole time Geneva has been in the toilet crying about the loss of Michael.

BREAK

8.31pm – It’s been 10 minutes since the eviction. Christie says they need to talk about the personal $10. Rachael says she can’t add anything because when Christie wants to bring up the topic it’s ok but when Rachael wants to bring it up it’s a problem.

Dean: “When some one just gets evicted you dont run up and say who wants to do shopper/chef, thats just dumb”

Rachael: “Oh sorry is it dumb to you is it?”

Dean: “Yep, it is”

Rachael: “And your opinion means absolutely jack shit to me”

Dean: “Just telling you what everyone thinks”

Rachael: “Just because you think its dumb, how am I dumb?”

Dean: “You didn’t think”

Rachael: “I don’t really know who the fuck you think you are though coming up and saying that though” (some one gasps) “I’m not just going to let it rest, sorry, I’m not that sort of person”

Dean and Rachael go into the bedroom to continue their conversation. Dean says it’s “crocodile tears”. Rachael asks for everyone to leave them in the bedroom. Rach says for starters it wasn’t crocodile tears, she has genuine feelings for Michael.

Rachael: “Your arrogance towards me, and the way that you treat me is not appreciated one bit, okay. And its making everyone else in the house dislike me because of the way that I’m treating you and the way that you’re treating me. For you to come and say something like that, that my actions were dumb, you’ve got no right to okay. I only came out and asked the twins that because I thought nobody would be able to eat dinner until I had appointed some one else shopper chef to cook dinner for tonight, or to take over the actions for tonight. Now whats your opinion on the situation and why are you being such a rude jerk to everyone?”

Dean: “I’m not being a rude jerk to anyone, at all”

Rachael: “Well as soon as you get on your high horse about something, you turn to arrogance and rudeness. I don’t think its very nice at all”

Dean: “Only to you, because I don’t like you”

Rachael: “Okay, well as far as I’m concerned keep your opinions to yourself…”

Dean: “I will always voice my opinions, I will always voice my opinions, whenever I feel like it, so… thats just pointless saying that”

Rachael: “Well… feel free… well.. you just need to know that I will express my opinions back no matter how much it affects the other group and just know that you saying stuff like that, that I’m dumb and me reacting…”

Dean: “I didn’t say you were dumb, don’t put words in it”

Rachael: “My actions were dumb, whatever. Reguardless of the fact…”

Dean: “You can raise your voice, see, thats an immature thing to do. If you want to talk about something, talk about it in a civil manner you don’t need to raise your voice”

Rachael: “You still said my actions were dumb…”

Dean: “Breathe and think before you speak”

Rachael: “Listen, you still said my actions were dumb which is basically saying that I’m dumb”

Dean: “Every time you open your mouth stupidity comes out”

Rachael: “… you don’t know much about life do you? I’m sure I’ve experienced a lot more than you have”

Dean: “Do you think? Do you honestly think so?”

Rachael: “I do”

Dean: “Yeah? Well thats quite interesting, because some one thats experienced a lot, obviously you don’t show it. You really dont. Life experiences give you the best lessons and that aint coming through with you.

In the kitchen Glenn is trying to listen in on the argument with a glass to the bedroom door. Tim says Rachael has had a hard life, as Rachael told him earlier. Vesna says no one in the house knows about her past but she doesn’t carry on like Rachael is. Kate says they need to be lenient as a group because Rachael’s coping mechanism might not be as strong as Vesna’s.

Dean: “When you say stuff, it might not be portrayed the way you think you’re saying it”.

Rachael: “Thats exactly the same with you”

Dean: “Oh, well thats fine because I haven’t had any…”

Rachael: “You just dont’ care about people’s feelings it that right?”

Dean: “No, not at all. I just haven’t had any complains about the way that I have.”

Rachael: “Well why were you up for nominations then? I fine that really funny to…”

Dean: “Mate, thats fine. It doesn’t worry me, the whole fact that you passed this”.

Rachael: “The fact that you think you’re not affecting the group is very very silly”

Dean takes Rachael outside and asks the group if he is affecting the group through the way he talks to Rachael. Geneva has come out of the toilet but hears the argument that has now spilled into the kitchen and decides not to venture out any further. Kate wants to play mediator and says it has obviously started off badly, and from now just make an effort to agree to disagree.

Rachael: “So you agree to minimise your comments about me infront of the whole group?”

Dean: “I just don’t want anything to do with you, I don’t like you”

Rachael: “The feelings mutual baby”

Dean: “Lets rest it at that”

Tim asks if the two can start again. Rachael says definately not – Dean has made that plain and clear.

Rachael: “He doesn’t want a reconciliation, he doesn’t care how it affects the group”

Dean: “I can’t believe you’re so immature, with all the experience you say you’ve had. It’s just mind boggling, it really really is. Really is.

Greg says the twins would be happy to be shopper chef. Rachael agrees. Dean has taken Kate into the bedroom to bitch about Rachael even more.

Dean: “You know the bit that shits me, because of conflict. That will make people give people an easier reason to vote for me. I’ve got so much I want to say but I’m butting right out.”

Kate says it won’t affect him one little bit.

BREAK

8.45pm – Hotdogs wants to have a spa, and invites other housemates. Geneva is in tears still, and Kate says she is allowed to be. Kate gives her a comfort hug. In the living room Tim is telling Rachael she should take a chance to meet everyone one-on-one this coming week. Tims says he knows its hard in the house. Rachael says he thinks he speaks for the group. Dean goes into the bedroom and gives Geneva a comfort hug. Geneva says she can’t believe Rachael made the night about herself. Dean agrees, but stops talking when Rachael comes into the bedroom and starts changing. Dean says “you will see him again soon”. Geneva says out of all the housemates she was the one who loved him the most. Rachael leaves and Geneva says she wasn’t even part of the argument but it still made her upset. Meanwhile Rachael is in the spa along, crying. In the bedroom Christie says she is feeling like kicking Rachael out of her bed, or wants to swap beds with Tim so the girls (except Rachael) will be together. Tim says he’ll do whatever.

11.45pm – Kate, Michelle, Geneva and Christie will be at one end of the bedroom and Rachael is down the other end near Dean. In the bathroom David is saying Dean will be pissed Rachael is so close to him in the bedroom now. Dean comes into the bedroom and David jokes that he’ll swap with Rachael so she’s sleeping with Dean. Tim is just doing whats needed to keep calm for tonight. Dean and David say Tim can jump on their bed anytime to have a discussion, now that he will be away from them.

In the bedroom Michelle gives Glenn a goodnight kiss. Tim asks Rachael how she’s going. Later after Christie says goodnight, Rachael is still awake, looking upset.
