Day 17

10.02am – Gaelan and Ashley are working out, and David is called to the diary room. He is told to collect all the rubber ducks in the house, and instruct every housemate to help. They have 1 hour. There is to be no sitting or lying down until further notice. David tells Ashley first, who comments they can’t possibly get all of the ducks because there are some stuck on the roof. They suggest using the pool scooper to get them down.

David moves into the bedroom and tells some housemates who yet to get up what Big Brother has requested. Gaelan and Ashley get a duck down from the roof with the pool scooper. Camilla is having problems getting up because she’s so tired. In the bathroom David says the thing is Big Brother knows where all the ducks are. Later in the lounge room they have counted 27 ducks, and predicted 3 have gone over the wall. Flower duck is missing. David brings the bag of ducks to the diary room, and annouces they have 27 ducks. BB asks him to leave the ducks in the diary room.

In the backyard Michael asks Claire “if some one didn’t want to be here would you get rid of them?”. Claire is unsure and says it depends – not necessarily. “I don’t think its a reason for me to nominate”. She says she wouldn’t waste votes on some one like that, they should go speak to Big Brother.

11.09am – Karen is sitting a bed when Big Brother said there was to be no sitting. He announces she must go to the punishment room. She must stand and stare at the red dot on the screen until furhter notice. The others come to watch.

BB: This is Big Brother. Karen, you are to stare at the dot and nothing else.

Karen says this is impossible because she has a 3 second attention span.

BB: Karen, you looked away from the dot. Thats a $5000 fine.

Karen is then fined again. The others worry and think Karen will just give up because she doesn’t want to be in the house. 10 minutes later BB relieves her from the punishment room.

BREAK

12.07pm – Housemates are playing ball in the backyard. In the bedroom Katie is getting her hair done by Karen, and comments she couldn’t handle staying in the house for 3 months. Karen doesn’t know how anyone could. Katie doesn’t plan to be in here for that long – she isn’t a showpony. Krystal comments you don’t have to be. They all agree on girl power but don’t want to be feminists.

12.54pm – Housemates emerge from the bedroom to find the object for the next task: A big water tank, with the house ducks floating on the top. Housemates are to pull corks out of the holes on the side of the tank and dam them with a body part. The tank has different coloured levels and the water cannot fall below a certain level, but housemates don’t know which one (its the yellow line, second from the bottom). Ashley and Gaelan go first.

3.01pm – Katie and John are sitting outside, away from the other housemates. She asks who is in John’s eyes. He replies Krystal, then Anna, then maybe Claire. He comments Katie has a good body though. John would hook up with anyone in this house, except Camilla. She’s not good looking and theres something about her that annoys him. Katie comments there was something about John at the begining that she liked and she would have hooked up with him. John looses his words and gets a little tounge tied. “From the first night I could tell that you were cool”. Katie says “yaaay!”.

BREAK

6.06pm – This is Big Brother. All housemates adjust your microphones. This is insider Michael’s cue to come to the diary room. Inside he finds lots of food. This is his extra reward for passing his personal mission last week, the first special meal and treat he will receive. He only has 5 minutes to eat. Under the dinner tray is spaghetti. Michael runs around to eat the food but seem to can’t stop talking, even to shove food down his mouth.

Meanwhile outside the housemates talk about the food they want. Katie has noticed there is the smell of food coming from somewhere and gets the housemates to group around.

Big Brother: What are your housemates eating tonight?

Michael with mouth full of food: Who cares!

BB tells Michael he now must return to the house. Ashley is cooking on the BBQ and is warned by other housemates not to taste the food this time. Michael goes to the diary room and brushes his teeth. Camilla and Karen are manning the dam. Camilla is lying down with her feet on the tank holes.

Michael offers his dinner to another housemate, whoever will take it, but everyone tells him he must eat.

6.45pm – Housemates are now changing dam shifts over. They have worked out a way to make sure no water comes out when they change over – getting another housemate to stick their hand on the inside of the tank to block the hole.

BREAK

8.30pm – Anna is talking about her boobs when Camilla juts in “Anna!”. Anna says Camilla is just jealous of her boobs. Camilla comments she is perfectly content with her boobs, they fit into anything. Anna says whatever. The boys aren’t very impressed now, and Anna says to Camilla she was only joking – but Camilla doesn’t think so, and they exchange heated words. The boys all say the two girls had a good relationship going while it lasted.

10.44pm – Housemates are on shift for the dam task. Katie is sitting down while plugging a hole, which is not allowed. Big Brother announces they are sure to fail the task if they keep this up – and instructs Katie to pull out the fourth cork, meaning there are now four holes to plug up.

2.29am – Housemates are swapping over for the task. John goes inside to get another housemate to change over. Camilla offers but Anna says she will – they have some whisper bickering. Anna wants to wake Krystal because everyone has to have a fair turn, but Camilla wants to do it now – “why don’t you (Anna) go to sleep and we will handle it”. Gaelen yells from his bed – “discuss it outside”. They go to the kitchen, and try to work out something. Camilla eventually takes over Krystal’s turn.

6.16pm – We’re starting late tonight. Krystal is in the bedroom putting on makeup and comments to Camilla she’s glad she actually returned to the house. Ashley is outside cooking dinner but is only the kitchenhand so can’t taste any of the food – he does. Shopper/Chef Krystal is still putting on her makeup.

Dino is called to the diary room. Big Brother asks him who he appointed Chef – he answers. BB asks why Krystal is inside while Ash and other housemates cook tonight’s dinner. Dino replies “Ash is her helper”. He asks which rules they have broken. Big Brother mentions “a housemate” tasted the food, but won’t tell Dino who. BB then instructs him to collect all the food and bring it to the diary room. Dino doesn’t look happy and sarcastically says:

“Feeling a bit hungry?”

Dino is fuming. He goes outside and collects the meat off Ashley and brings it to the diary room. Word quickly spreads to Krystal via Camilla and she is not impressed – she jumps up but is only told the reason for the confiscation is because Ashley cooked – not because he ate some. Krystal goes to enter the diary room but Dino stops her and explains some one sampled the food and other housemates assisted in cooking – he suspects that was him and Michael handing Ashley forks and utensils. Krystal can’t be bothered cooking the rest of dinner now, but Karen says she has to finish it so they can all eat.

Camilla suggests they all go into the diary room and ask to trade hot water for the food back. Not many housemates are eager to go though with it. She has to prod them a bit before they get up.

BREAK

6.37pm – All housemates are in the diary room. Ashley says he knows he tried the food, he tested it to see if its cooked – Krystal was cooking in the kitchen (or so he claims) – are they able to bargain hot water for the food? BB asks Krystal if she asked Ashley to taste the food – no. BB gets the HMs to repeat the rules about tasting the food. Camilla gets angry and says they know the guidelines and they know the wrong thing ahppened but they are asking if they can apologise and bargain so they can have meat tonight.

Big Brother’s decision is final. That is all.

Camilla explains she just feels good about making a stand.

8.31pm – The housemates up for eviction this week are Karen, Krystal, Camilla and Dino. Of course Dino saves himself, leaving the three girls nominated.

Krystal says “thats pretty good”. They are annoyed another girl will be evicted. Some of the housemates run for the toilet.

The nominees and David are outside discussing Dino. Karen says he was looking at her funny, and they all agree Dino is weird towards females. David agrees, and adds he has a very negative attitude towards females in general. Camilla comments she’s not trying to be self centred but she feels Dino is always looking at her in a seedy, dirty way.

BREAK

9.13pm – Dino comes to the diary room. He explains he felt resentment from the others for saving himself from nomination. He thinks there are people out there out to get him – Karen, Krystal, Camilla, Dave.

In the bedroom Krystal tells Michael he’s playing the game the most – for example when they were in the gym and talking about Dino pushing girls at the games, and then Michael went and gossiped it to Dino. Michael says they should have gone and talked to Dino straight away, and he was doing the right thing. “You guys made a blatant attack about the way he interacted with Anna”.

Back to the diary room Dino says apparently he was a bad sport on the friday night games. It makes his victory sour that people are out to get him “just because I won”. “Its getting hard to control my temper with them”.

Michael is still ranting onto Krystal, and Karen is now listening in. They argue over the Dino incident. She says he went straight to Dino to gossip without a second thought – and didn’t give them a chance to express it. Michael says he doesn’t need to ask them permission if they wanted to talk do Dino first.

Micahel: You have no bearing on what I am going to say. I am a grown man and I can do what I want.

In bed Karen says to Katie he’s so argumentative and just wants to create drama.

Krystal tells Michael they should agree to disagree, but Michael disagrees with that. He doesn’t understand.

Krystal: We’re on different wavelenths with … everything. You aren’t happy to listen to what I’m saying you’d rather talk over the top of me.

Michael: Thats a negative attitude to take about it.

Krystal: Well I feel I can talk to anyone in this house except for you.

Michael keeps talking. And talking. And talking.

BREAK

10.42pm – Dino walks into the bedroom and asks the girls “is there anything you want to say to me about Friday night”. Camilla says she is upset about the way he pushed Anna around – Anna isnt’ really upset about it but she has her own voice. Karen shoos Michael out of the bedroom so they can have a discussion with Dino. Michael goes out and says they are gossiping about him.

Karen explains she would hate if it got aired Dino pushing Anna because it would make him look bad. Michael can’t help himself and walks back into the bedroom.

Dino didn’t like the fact that the girls didn’t come and talk to him. The girls gang up on Michael and accuse him of dramatising the fact. Karen attacks Michael saying he likes to cause drama and didn’t give them a chance at all to talk to Dino about it. Camilla reminds them Dino got a fine for being a bad sport, but Dino doesn’t think he did anything wrong.

Krystal: It’s been blown out of proportion because Mikey is a drama queen.

Dino explains he has felt bad about it, which is good news for Karen. But Dino doesn’t want people to hate Michael because of a simple mistake he made. Everything seems to be sorted out… for now.

Michael: I still feel, with the way you’re looking at me, you’re not sorted out with me.

The discussion is left with tension in the air.

Big Brother calls Michael to the diary room. He explains that 8 housemates must nominate him for his next task. Michael is all smiles and says this will kill him.

10:20am: Big Brother tells Dino and Claire that their breakfast is served. They laugh at how good it looks and wonder if they will be able to eat it all. Meanwhile in the house, the housemates wonder if there is enough eggs. They decide they’ll have pancakes and eggs for breakfast. Jamie has just finished cleaning the bathroom and toilets, and throws the cloth onto the kitchen bench. Big Brother soon calls all housemates to the living room. Dino is asked to allocate the household chores. He gives the housekeeper to Elise, Kitchenhand is Tilli, Claire gets farmhand again, Dino take groundskeeper for himself, Anna is the baker, Krystal shopper/chef and Karen gets the janitor job.

12:29pm: Krystal is in the kitchen, saying that they are like a family in here now. Krystal picks up the cloth that Jamie used in the toilets, wipes her hands on the cloth, then puts her hands on her face. Big Brother announces the fact to the house, and Krystal says “Yuk… which cloth did I use.” Tilli wonders who put it back in the kitchen, but Jamie says it wasn’t him. He picks up the cloth, but says he didn’t put it back in the kitchen. He decides to throw it out, while Krystal washes her face. Outside in the garden, Camilla gets a $5000 for talking without her microphone. Housemates wonder how much they’ve lost now.

1:10pm: Dino, Ashley and Michael are talking about the amount of food that Karen eats. Dino says that she is greedy. Dino says she stays up late just so she can make pancakes for herself. They say she uses sugar in every cup of tea, and porridge every morning. Ashley says she doesn’t care about anyone. Dino says ‘good riddance to her I reckon.’ Claire makes a song in the hope of Big Brother deciding to donate the money taken by fines to a charity. Ashley wonders how Dino is getting on with Claire in the rewards room. He says really well, getting to know her heaps more than he would if she was in the normal house with him. Dino says that he thought she was silly and dorky, but he’s changed his mind. He says he even finds her attractive now. In the sauna, Camilla and Dave are bitching. Dave says that Dino disrespected the women in the house last night. Camilla says she saw it as well. Back out to Dino, he says that if felt like a little holiday being in the rewards room last night. Back in the sauna, Camilla says you don’t grab a guy like Dino grabbed a girl last night. She says she wouldn’t do it. Outside, Michael lets Dino know of Karen’s opinion about his antics from FNL. He goes onto say that Krystal too felt it was disgraceful. Michael says that he asked the girls if they had bought it up with Dino. They said that it was that bad that it doesn’t need to be bought up at all. Dino says obviously it didn’t come from nowhere, but Dino says he was hungry for it, and as far as he was concerned she is a sore loser. He calls Karen a self obsessed ****.

5:46pm: A carnival sound comes into the house, and housemates soon realise that all of them must get dressed for this final part of the task. Katie lines up without her shoe, as Michael hid it overnight. Big Brother says it’s time to test all their performances. Go through a heap of performances, with housemates laughing on. Big Brother eventually tell the housemates to return to the line. Big Brother tells the results of this weeks task are in. He goes through the rules of the task. Big Brother congratulates housemates, telling them they were entertaining. Housemates cheer, and Michael mutters under his breath to himself (He’ll be automatically nominated if they pass this week’s task.) Big Brother then says however, clowns had to be fully dressed. He says that someone didn’t have a shoe on, therefore housemates have failed this weeks task. Katie can’t believe it, saying that Big Brother was always going to fail them. She apologises. Michael comforts her, saying it’s not her fault.

6:53pm: Big Brother has bought the punishment room curtains up so it’s viewable to the housemates. Tilli is the first to realise, saying “oh my god, people come here.” Jamie says “Do you reckon thats like a punishment room?” Big Brother gathers all housemates in the diary room. He tells them that one person stood to win $1 Million when they walked into the house two weeks ago. He says that is no longer the case. $340,000 has been lost in fines. He goes through each person’s fine tally, Jamie being fined $35,000. He starts laughing! Dino has lost $40,000, and Katie $50,000. She says that Big Brother doesn’t know how to count. Big Brother makes the point that that money has gone and will not back. Big Brother warns them that they could well win nothing if this keeps up. He tells them that this isn’t a holiday as some people obviously think it is. He makes mention of a fine Michael received only a short time ago. Big Brother send Michael to the punishment room. Michael smilies. A lot of housemates seem very excited. Once inside, Michael is told to sit down. Big Brother tells all housemates that they can be called to the punishment room from now on if they are fined. He tells Michael that he must seperate 5000 pins from 5000 needles. The housemates watch on through the glass from the couch.

8:34pm: Housemates in the living room are discussing whether some of the stuff they are fined for is actually wrong. Anna says they are losing money, and they have to be taught to curb this. She says that BB has told them a thousand times. Camilla says she is trying to keep within the rules, but it’s like Big Brother is making up rules to lose money. She references one rule being “You are not permitted to talk over Big Brother”. Anna says that it is all in the guidelines. Camilla says she can’t control herself. Anna says everyone hates them, but they have to do it. In the bedroom, Anna and Tilli talk. Anna says that Michael being punished is good, it’ll teach everyone a lesson. Tilli wonders how Camilla and Anna got in the revenge room. She says they got on ok, but she had to bite her tounge once. Anna says that just before Camilla walked out the door to end the argument.

Tilli comes to the diary room. She says she thinks it’s awesome that Michael has been in the punishment room. She says that Michael has gotten on her nerves all week. Just got under her skin, someone she wishes she could ignore. Tilli says that he is playing the game the most. She says it’s almost embarrassing watching him, saying that he is very attention seeking. Krystal and Claire sing a song “Let it all out”. The song makes fun of Ashley, who laughs at it. In the punishment room, Michael tells us that he’s enjoying the task, and that he’s probably not meant to be enjoying it.

Day 12 Uplate

11.08pm – A group of housemates are in the backyard having a discussion. Well actually its Anna with most of the guys and no other girls. Mike Goldman tells us the segregation between the girls is now worse than ever.

11.14pm – The boys are throwing ducks around. Meanwhile inside Claire is doing a song and dance show. She shakes her booty around for a bit and gets the girls to brainstorm things she’s been doing in the house for a dance. Claire asks what the nipples song is… no one knows? Krystal says she did drama in high school. Anna joins them inside and jokes around with Claire about dancing moves. Krystal says she’s a bit of an exhibitionist and is great on stage. She tells the others that a lot of comedians are really dark off-stage and depressed. Katie has some of John’s moisturiser and the girls pass it around. They want salt and vinigear chips.

11.20pm – Claire finds chopsticks in the kitchen. She says “lets play a game with the chopsticks!” and immediately drops them on the floor. She then explains: the game is to pick them up without moving any other chopsticks. Some of the girls get down on the floor to play.

11.24pm – Gaelan is slicing up some pineapple and John and Ashley immediately jump in. They all say its great. Clown noises immediately play. It’s Ashley and Claire. Dino screams at Ashley on purpose “GO ASH GOO”. While getting into his costume Ashley’s underpants come down and everyone gets a glance at his bum. Ashley is very behind. They stand up on the platform and Ashely starts gagging from the clown face powder for quite a while and the others laugh at him.

This is Big Brother. Clowns Ashley and Claire, Big Brother wants to be entertained with the tightrope.

There is quite a delay as the clowns tie up their shoelaces. They open their umbrellas but Ashley’s is broken. Claire gets up on the platform which extends across the pool first but is very unstable.. she wobbles on her shoes and bends down while everyone calls out. Ashley, still on the side of the pool jumps up and down. Claire gets back on the side so Ashley gives it a try… he can’t go very far… they edge a bit on and suddenly Ash falls in the pool… the housemates are in hysterics. Ashley climbs along, dragging Claire with him by their cord. Claire swings backwards, losing her balance throwing her arms in the air to save herself, but its too late – she has to jump in the pool to keep from falling. The other housemates can’t stop laughing.

They get out and have to try again – this time they go over really fast and doing really well. Ashley is about to make it over to the other side when Michael (the insider) knocks the bar and Claire falls in the pool, dragging Ashley with her.

This is Big Brother. Big Brother was… entertained.

Everyone cheers. Michael was unsuccessful this time round. Dino sneaks away with one of the clown’s shoes. Claire and Ashley are left to clean up and Ashley must retrieve part of an umbrella from the bottom of the pool.

11.34pm – Ashley keeps finding peices of umbrella at the bottom of the pool. He searches for his clown nose.

11.39pm – Michael is actually sabotaging the task! Who would have thought? He’s stolen some balloons from the backyard and is in the toilet cutting small holes in them so they can’t be filled.

11.42pm – Camilla wants some candy or chocolate. Jamie starts talking about Tim Winton, the Australian author, which gets Camilla really excited. Jamie has the feeling his clown noise will be played soon, either now or at 4.00am in the morning. He organises with Katie how they will do balloon popping if BB asks (Michael is still in the bathroom slashing the balloons).

Camilla explains she had a dream she was in an alternate house and a girl called her an ugly cow. Camilla threw something at her and called her a bitch. The house was in a weird country – it was next to a mosque and they did a service.

David looks at his photo of a loved one for quite a long time.

11.49pm – Michael is now trying to sneak the balloons back outside in a plastic bag which also contains rubbish. He puts the rubbish in the outside rubbish bin but leaves the lid open. He then walks up to the bowl containing the balloons and quickly mixes the slashed balloons with them. He slowly walks back inside but looks really suspicious.

11.55pm – Back from the commercial break and Michael is back in the toilet slashing balloons with scissors.

12.00am – Camilla is bitching about the lack of cleaning going on in the house, and taking dishes to the kitchen after eating. It shits her that everyone has fake modesty about getting along – “its just a big wank”. Camilla says she doesn’t like conflict but everything is a bit of a pisstake in the house – they just want to make fun of everything and some aren’t very mature. Camilla adds that even though Katie jokes around you can still have a good mature chat with her.

Meanwhile Michael has found a new way to sabotage the task: throwing the props over the wall.

In the bedroom Elise says her topic didn’t come up with family discussion, but David’s didn’t either. Michael has gone into the toilet again… but this time he’s actually going to the toilet! The bedroom chat moves to in-out house philosophies and altering behaviors in the house. Michael comes over and David says “fuck I love your cardigan”. They then talk about Anna versus Krystal. They all agree the two are the head of their groups and have equal power – although Krystal slightly more becuase she’s in charge of the kitchen now. Camilla says Anna is more “look at me”.

12.16am – Ashley talks with Camilla about a person who has the surname Cox. He says he has two middle names. Feeds cut away because of the outside-people rule.

12.19am – Ashley is talking about drugs so there is a lot of beeping going on. He says he is not addicted to alcohol at all. Feed cuts to the living room where most of the housemates are playing the chopsticks game Claire introduced earlier. Jamie commentates.

12.30am – Michael is cooking sardines on the BBQ but is having trouble opening the tins – he curses the can opener out. Dino needs to give him a hand. He continues having problems for the next few minutes. Meanwhile Karen is in the bedroom explaining she’s worried about the outside world’s perception of her – but Camilla says thats the same with everyone in the house. Ashley says they could throw in a double eviction anytime. Ashley is unsure if this week will be a double eviction though. David asks Camilla how she fits in with her friends. She says she is the Katie of her group outside the house.

12.45am – Karen is talking about her boyfriend (Krystal’s father) when she was 16 – they were going out for about 3 years but there were about 6 other guys Karen saw. He cheated on her a few times so she’d cheat on him to get back. Karen became pregnant with Krystal when she was 16. She was not happy. She moved to Byron Bay to live with her sister and found out she was pregnant while there.

Mike Goldman jumps in and says its a boring conversation and they will play an uplate update – Oh PUUULEEZ Mike don’t insult our intelligence!

12.50am – Back to Karen: There is talk of having another kid – Karen and her boyfriend decided not have another child. She is glad she didn’t when she looks back now. Camilla says she has a friend who had an abortion because she would fall pregnant just looking at some one. Karen says she had her tubes tied after having Krystal. Karen says she could never give advice to some one about abortions or having a child. Elise comments Karen must have been very healthy and furtile.

Karen carried a child for some one (possibly her sister). David says at some stage he’s going to have to ask his sister for an egg or to carry a child.

1.00am – Karen is talking about a child he knew who was ugly and it affected his life severely. Camilla says she was an ugly child but turned out fine… Karen disagrees she was ugly but Camilla is adament about proving she was ugly – she pulls out photos and shows them. Camilla says she breaks out with pimples under stress. Krystal and Karen talks about an episode of Doctor Phil which had girls who wanted to marry old millionaires. Can’t have cross promotion of another show – feed is cut.

In the kitchen Jamie is talking about his relationship with Katie. He says if he hangs out with Katie all the time it will change the dynamics of the house – which is what he told Katie. He doesn’t know where he sees it going just yet. Ashley and Michael understand. In the bedroom Ashley is looking for his shoe (Dino hid it earlier). The girls quietly find and raid the candy out of Michael’s bag and he runs over to stop them but is too late. Jamie runs over with his pants down again. Krystal and Anna have one last raid to check for any candy left over.

1.15am – Jamie and Katie are snuggling up together in bed. Katie kisses Jamie on the cheek and says “yeah you were a little bit different”. She has her hand on his neck and slowly strokes it. He looks a little freaked out. Jamie relays whats happened earlier with Ashley (which was beeped earlier) – Ashley got very defensive when talking about steroids, saying they change your personality. This got Jamie very annoyed, and tells Katie he has studied pyschology and human movement so he knows better. He wanted Ashley to just shutup about it, and got very frustrated.

Katie: Because he might be two slices short of a loaf?

Jamie explains he gets annoyed sometimes in gyms when people question his methods when he knows what he’s doing. He also hates it when people steal ideas from him – for example at home he’ll have a joke and …

David and Dino’s clown noise sounds. David yells ‘shit!’ and they run outside Dino is only in his underpants. David is behind Dino in getting costume on. They get on their platform and the HMs laugh at Dino’s appearance. Michael calls him the Bosnian Burrito.

This is Big Brother. Clowns David and Dino. Big Brother wants to be entertained by balloon popping.

Michael is all smiles. David picks up the first balloon and blows and nothing happens… he says “what the fuck”. Michael laughs. Dino tries a balloon and gets it a little blown up, and pops it. He pops another one. David however is still stuck on his sabotaged balloon.

When we return from a commercial break Mike Goldman tells us Big Brother announced he was not entertained.

1.30am – Housemates in the bedroom talk about boys vs. girls. Krystal says they lived behind a woman who had 5 boys – they felt sorry for her. Dino says his ass is burning from using it to pop balloons just before. Krystal was going to comment he could damage his tailbone. He gets Tilli to feel his butt – its rock hard “like cement”. Dino jumps into bed with Tilli and Krystal and says he might want to have some variety tonight. Dino says John is “the funniest animal in the world”.

At 1.35am Dreamworld says goodnight.

9:25pm: Ashley and Gaelan are out at the barbecue cooking the evening meal. Ashley tells Gaelan that there is one and a half sausages for each housemate. Over in the rewards room, Dino and Claire are feasting. Dino wonders what the next twist will be. Back outside, Ashley says that one person actually gets two sausages, and the rest get one and a half. Gaelan wonders who to give two to. Dino says that winning FNL has made it easier for him to accept the eviction if he has to leave. Claire agrees. Claire says she has given her family something to watch this week, so she’s happy. Outside, David is talking to Karen saying that he would’ve liked to have won tonight. Karen asks him who he would have taken. He says it would’ve been between Karen and Tilli. Karen asks him if he thinks Tilli will be going on Sunday. David says that if she went it would completely change the whole dynamics of the house. Karen says Krystal would be lost without Tilli, but then adds that she has found a friend in Camilla as well, so she’s happy for that. Inside on the couch, Krystal is wondering why Katie and Jamie aren’t an item yet. Katie seems to think Jamie has eyes for someone else, but the other girls reassure her that he only has eyes for Katie. Katie says that Jamie doesn’t go for blondes. She tells the girls that she told Big Brother that she was stupid because she was following her heart and not her head.

Back outside, Dave says to Karen that one of the most dangerous things that can happen in the house is a relationship. Karen agrees. She says the more she things about Katie and Jamie, the more she thinks it could become a catalyst for the breakdown of relationships. She says that Katie should be able to let go though, and have some trust in guys again. Back in the rewards room, it’s time for Dino to pick one of three boxes, each containing a prize. He reads the rules. One has cheese, one has a digital camera, and the final box has a holiday. He chooses box number one, and is instructed to open it. He picks the cheese! Dino jokes asking if it’s too late to chance. Over in the house a little later, a sound goes off and they soon realise it’s for the task. It’s Jamie and Katie’s turn. Big Brother requests to be entertained via “the tightrope”. It’s a small pole across the pool that the housemates must walk across. They keep falling off the tightrope, but Big Brother tells the house that he was entertained. Katie and Jamie jump back in the pool and start kissing.

11:59pm: Michael and Elise are on the couch. Michael asks her if she is worried about the eviction. He says he is. Elise says she isn’t worried, rather nervous. She says she’ll be dissapointed if she is evicted. She says she has things to do on the outside though. However, she wants to make friends inside the house so she wants to stay. Michael says he came in to understand himself better and to make some friends, and to find a relationship. Elise says it’s up to each of them to make the most of the time, something she says she hasn’t done yet. She says she has been too shy, moreso than what she thought she would be. Elise says shes annoyed because she has felt second rate from the moment she walked in. In the bedroom, Tilli & Krystal are in the bedroom. Tilli asks Krystal how she would feel if Michael left. Krystals says she wouldn’t care too much. She says it’s funny, because she thought he was so hot only days ago. She goes onto say that Michael has been getting on everybody’s nerves the past few days. Krystal says that Michael is 26 and only had one relationship which lasted a year. She goes onto say that he is probably a player, and if so, he deserves everything he gets. Over the other side of the bedroom, Jamie & Katie are talking. Jamie says he wanted to win today, referring to FNL. Jamie says he would probably take a guy in there if he won. Katie says she would be bummed if he had taken another girl. He says he can understand that. Jamie says “What if I had said, Yeh Anna.” Katie then suddenly realises she would care bigtime, laughing! Jamie says that last weekend he kept thinking that Gaelan & Katie were making out. Over in the rewards room, Dino and Claire are getting ready for a bath. Dino reads out some soaps or massage oils. Claire starts what she calls ‘sandpapering’ Dino’s feet.

1:19am: Michael goes outside in a final attempt to sabotage this week’s task. He hides some clown shoes before heading back inside.

Day 11 Uplate

11:19pm: I join Uplate a few minutes late. Lots of people in the kitchen, and lots of different conversations. Jamie is cooking something. Someone asks if they are cooked yet. Jamie says they aren’t, and Camilla asks them to turn the heat up higher. Launch into the song “Turn it up so high”. Cut to the bedroom because of the singing. Karen and Katie are on a bed. So is Krystal. Mike cuts in for a minute. Katie is wearing a “I love Frankston” t-shirt. They are talking about Ashley. Krystal says he talks about V8’s all the time. One of the guys say (I think it’s Dino) that he’s actually changed a fair bit in the past few days. Krystal says she likes people out at clubs who are not talking to anyone, because she can latch on and have their complete attention. Comm break.

11:30pm: Still in the bedroom. Katie is telling a story about a family they know. Karen asks Dino what the longest relationship he’s had. He says it was about a year, but he says it’s hard with school and work. He says that girls don’t realise that he has not time. He says when he goes out he trys to make the time with the girl really special, but then it could be a week, 10 days before he has time to see her again. Krystal says that when she has a guy, she is the type that see’s the person everyday, but then wants to ditch him on the weekends and go out with the girls. Dino says he thinks it ruins a relationship when early on you see the person everyday. He says at the 6 month stage you should move it up to seeing the person every single day. Krystal says her 3 longest relationships, a year, 8 months and 7 months, she saw the boy everyday. Dino says that guys get sick of it seeing them everyday. Krystal says not with her! Dave and Tilli join the convo. Dave says when he has someone he doesn’t want to spend a second apart. They start talking about how it’s only been 10 days. Katie says that they all feel so close. Dino disagrees, and he goes as far to say that he in fact doesn’t really know each other. Karen says that it freaks her out that people think they are so close to others when they aren’t. Dino says that just because you crack a few jokes, you don’t know people. Karen says in the outside world she has spent heaps of time with people and still doesn’t really think she knows the person. Dino says they should keep it in perspective. Katie says she puts herself out there because she wants to love everyone. Cut out to the boys in the kitchen, John, Asley, Gaelan and Michael. They talk about farts for a bit. Comm break.

11:46pm: Anna has joined the boys in the kitchen. John and Michael both think they’ve lost weight. Anna says she has had a hard day today. She starts doing push ups. Ashley joins her. They tell her that it’s a massive improvement on last time. Dino comes out to talk to them. Dino says that this house is a little too full on for him, and he never has any rest. Michael says that when he sits outside for some alone time, people think something must be wrong. Michael says that he can sit on his own for hours on end each day. Anna says she has the house to herself from 7am to 6pm at night each weekday. Anna says she is sorry if she cause any uncomfortableness for anyone today. The boys all thought of it as entertainment. Michael says if they show it on TV, you’ll see him and Ash in the back laughing and high fiving. John wonders whats going on in the bedroom at the moment. Dino says that they have raised the white flag for the moment and stopped their bitching. Dino says he had to leave because of Camilla, who he describes as far too full on. Dino says he just doesn’t want to bitch, or sit there listening to it. Michael is ‘losing it’ Dino thinks, as he keeps repeating “I’m Dino the Dinosaur.” We seem to have audio from the bedroom out in the kitchen. Back now. They are talking about Coco Pops. Anna says she always has a heap of variety for cereals. Uplate update. Back into the bedroom. Karen has just said that she lost her virginity with 3 other girls down in a barn when 4 blokes came into town or something. Comm break.

12:01am: Dino is cooking again. John is eating on the couch. Tilli is out in the kitchen now too. Lots of talking off camera by Michael. Jamie says he is damn bored. Anna says that they were massively bored for the two days in the revenge room. The boys wonder if they masturbated. Anna says she played bocce with stones. Michael is wondering if anyone has woken up with a boner. He says he hasn’t. Gaelan starts singing. John says he will have a bat one day. It seems no one has yet. John thinks he’ll be first. Gaelan says 14 years was his longest. Uplate update. Back into the bedroom we go. The girls are talking about their hair. Elise says she used to have extensions. Krystal seems to know a fair bit about extensions. Karen and Krystal says they got obsessed with eBay. Elise says it cost her $300 when she got it done. Krystal says it costs heaps in Sydney. Back to the kitchen. Big Brother calls Tilli to the diary room. The boys still seem to be talking about wanking off. John says he trys not to so he can save himself for the weekends. Michael laughs. Jamie and Katie are talking to, but it’s difficult to make out. Comm break.

12:19am: Living room. Almost everyone must be out there. No way in the world you can concentrate. A huge bleep over the words, and apparently a sound for the task came on at the same time. They seem very relaxed and in control as they get ready for the task. Tilli and Karen are doing this task. Big Brother tells them he wants to be entertained via the “Head duck”. It seems to be the worst, cause there are a few groans around. BB tells the housemates to stand back from the tank. Housemates say it’s pretty cold tonight. Mike cuts in and tells us that they have to get 6 apples from the tank in 60 seconds, using just their mouth I think. Waiting for the start siren. They can get them alright, but can’t put them into the bucket properly. Michael keeps telling Tilli to get the last one, and others shout at him that Karen has to get the last one. The housemates are laughing at the girls as they try to get this last one. Tilli’s hair is completely wet. This is the longest 60 seconds I’ve ever seen. Tilli picks the ones off the ground with her mouth too. Big Brother finally tells the clowns that he has been entertained. Most immediately head inside. The girls are freezing as they get out of the costumes. Dave offers to get them some towels. Inside the house, Krystal comes out of the bedroom, but then follows Tilli back in there as she comes inside. She wants some blu tack that Tilli has, but Tilli doesn’t respond. Ashley and Krystal talk about how it’s getting colder. Ashley says WA is really hot during the day but freezing at night. Out to the living room. Ashley comes out, and has Hard Yakka socks on and demostrates a run and slide with the socks. He almost runs into a bench, but recovers nicely. Comm break.

12:36am: Living room. Ashley chucks a pillow at Anna, who is occupied elsewhere. Anna and Katie do an impression of people in Frankston. Anna tells a story from her school-life. She says that they had a mental institution around the corner of their school, and this guy would catch their bus and ask them all for ciggies, and when none were offered, would find butts on the ground and smoke them. Cut to the bedroom. Jamie and Tilli are talking. Tilli says “God she is working the guys” referring about Anna. Dave is also in the bedroom. Karen says they were at least entertaining. Krystal goes into the bathroom. Jamie hums a song or a TV theme, I can’t tell. Tilli tells Jamie to have a serious conversation with Katie. She says that Katie doesn’t know how to bring it up. Jamie goes back to his humming. Elise walks by and says thanks to Jamie for cleaning the floor in the bathroom. David hops into bed. Jamie says that this environment is not conjusive to long term relationships. Tilli and David both agree. Krystal comes and joins the conversation. Almost everyone piles into the bedroom. Camilla comes over to Dave. The boys can smell Mint Listerine from someone. Someone else says they want a haircut. Gaelan starts sqeezing one of his pimples. Ash and John start throwing a ball to each other. Cut to the other side of the bedroom. Tilli, Krystal and Karen are over there. Krystal tells them that she stole some M&M’s during the latest task only a little while ago. Michael comes over and has a look like he wants to give Krystal a cuddle, but her mum is only a metre away. He says he likes everyone in the house. Krystal and Karen says they do too, and Michael laughs to that. Comm break.

12:54am: Gaelan is trying to be a goalkeeper, while everyone throws cushions at the main bedroom door. Gaelan isn’t ready and they all throw them at the same time. Lots of laughter in there tonight. It’s turned into a massive cushion fight. Something finally sounds as if it’s been broken, and they all stop. Gaelan and John check it out. A lamp has been broken. John says that was a nice end to the game. Gaelan says that Dino has the best throw of a pillow, the hardest he’s ever seen. Dino says that Anna gave as good as she coped it. They say they have broken 2 lamps and 2 vases in 2 days. Katie wonders if they will get in trouble. Comm break.

1:06am: Over to Krystal’s side of the bedroom, where it’s a bit quieter. Jamie wonders where Karen is sleeping tonight. Karen says she’ll go back to her own bed. Karen must share with Anna, and wants to sleep in the bed to let it be known that she will still communicate with her. Karen says she would rather be over here though, it’s too noisy over that side. Out to the kitchen we go. Gaelan and Dino are out there washing up. Gaelan says the beans are good again, but they throw oil everywhere. Ashley also comes out to help. They wonder who made the chick peas. Ashley says that Dave has heap of lollies. Dino calls him a shifty little prick! They continue doing the dishes. They wonder if it’s a late night. They think it’s 11pm. Ashley says the clown thing will be during the Uplate show. Gaelan gets a sardine on his finger, Ashley says you just can’t get rid of the smell. Ashley points out another sardine on the floor, and Gaela is forced to go and pick it up. Dino says that they thought Tilli might complain of sexual harassment earlier. They don’t go into what happened though. Krystal has come to help with the dishes now. Krystal drys them, puts them down, and Ashley starts drying them again. He soon realises. Comm break.

1:20am: Back to the quieter side of the bedroom. Karen says “listen to them. They all yell over the top of each other.” Tilli seems to have somehow fallen asleep during all this. Karen wonders if Jamie is circumsised. He says he isn’t, and that it generally doesn’t happen anymore nowadays. He says he has one friend who is, but he’s jewish. Jamie says he doubts there would’ve been enough skin to perform the task anyway. Mike cuts in. Back fairly quickly though. Jamie says he would like to go to bed. Jamie offer his bed, with Katie, to Karen if she would think she would sleep better over there. Karen thinks it’s better to move into this side of the room. Jamie says that Gaelan has been sleeping by himself. Karen says that Gaelan is quite happy to move into the other side of the bedroom. Jamie tells her to do that then. Jamie says that it’s certainly changed things with the girls coming back. Both the girls agree. Karen says it’ll be interesting to see who goes this week. Krystal thinks it’ll be sad. Almost screaming over the other side of the bedroom, which we cut to now. Move into the bathroom, where Ashley pulls his pants down a bit and opens the door. He comes out moments later, very strange. He says it hurts!? I don’t know what was going on. Ashley says he is tired now. (Aah he put his fella between his legs and pretended to be a girl.) Comm break.

1:32am: Still on the louder side of the bedroom. Gaelan is talking about a friend of his who had a sist down below or something and it looked really stange and huge. He says it’s all fixed now and the guy won’t care becuase he’s a great looking guy who has no problems finding chicks. Katie is talking to Anna about sex. She says it should be really passionate. Anna agrees, and say she is right to be waiting. Anna tells a story of a girl who had to break up with a guy who had a really small penis, and because he had a small one, he had issues with himself and in the end the friend of Anna’s just had to leave him. Katie starts talking about the sperm whale. Anna says that when the whale ejaculates, it doesn’t go into the female whale, so Anna suggests thinknig about that next time they go to swim at a beach and think about what kind of water they are swimming in. At 1:40am, Dreamworld says goodnight.
