Day 25

9.43am – Housemates are up and about… sort of. Michael and Claire discuss the night before: Michael could not sleep because he was so hungry. He had put part of his dinner in the fridge and when he went back to eat it this morning, it was gone. Michael hopes BB told a housemate to take the food because if not, that is very low.

David is outside on the exercise bikes with Rob. Rob explains you need to anticipate the mindset of people who aren’t used to gay people.

Rob: I always thought homophobia was a thing of the past but its still there. It still puts me out. It seems a bit surreal.

Rob has never really had a problem with being out because he’s been out with high school and everyone has been fine with it. David agrees with the points Rob has made. Ashley comes outside and Rob comments he’s wearing a nice new singlet.

Michael goes to the diary room, and says he doesn’t know whether to continue in the house. BB asks which way he thinks is forward, and Michael replies “that door”, the one to the side of the diary room housemates use to leave. Michael says if the intruders didn’t come in last night he would have had the opportunity to resolve some issues but now it might be impossible. The whole stigma of being the insider has affected him in a really bad way – for example some one taking his food. Michael says despite lying to them he’d do it again, he’d be more careful and he also had the attitude that if the housemates want to have that opinion he can just play the game harder and really give them something to complain about.

Michael leaves for the bedroom and Dino asks him whats wrong, but Michael doesn’t really want to talk about it. Dino walks outside whistling cheerfully. In the bedroom Michael tells Anna he wants to know who took his food, and he feels its a personal attack because of his role as the insider.

Anna: Mikey I can’t do it anymore… me and Dino ate it! But it wasn’t against you!

Michael shakes his head and leaves without saying anything. Anna calls after him, but to no effect.

Jamie: Mickey thinks about things too much. Dino will be more pissed off than Mikey.

BREAK

12.19pm

Michael: How was my food last night Dino? I already know its you.

Dino: Then why do you keep asking me?

Michael: Because you ate it! I already know you ate it dude. I alrady know Dino… you can just admit it.

Dino doesn’t say anything, instead he looks down away from Michael.

Michael: So why’d you eat it Dino?

There is another long pause.

Michael: Why’d you eat it Dino?

Dino: There’s some shitty parts to your personality Michael.

Dino then goes to walk away.

Michael: Anna’s already admitted it dude

Dino has now gone outside, and Rob enters the kitchen to see if Michael is ok. Michael says he’s fine.

Outside:

Dino: Whats this whole thing about Mikey blaming me for eating his pasta?

Jamie and Krystal: Anna told him.

Dino: [censor beep] and then Dino laughs, followed by Jamie.

Ashley asks if Dino actually ate the pasta, and Krystal clarifies that yes, Dino did eat the pasta with Anna. Michael meanwhile is still fuming and walks around inside. Dino tells the housemates outside the conversation that took place between him and Michael moments ago. A little later on Dino is complaining about Michael to Rob. Rob agrees and says everytime he’s tried to communicate with Michael he’s been blocked, and Rob is happy to just leave it like that if Michael won’t make the effort to talk back.

Michael talks to Anna once again:

Michael: It was definately you and Dino?

Anna: It was definately me

Michael: Are you scared to say Dino?

Anna: I’m sorry but if it was anybody else’s food I would have done it too. It wasn’t a personal thing… If you’re angry with me, thats cool.

Anna goes outside and is told off by Dino. She says she cracked because Michael was getting so angry. Dino says Michael was applying pressure. Anna felt bad because Michael was a personal attack. Dino continues to elaborate that she shouldn’t have told Michael they ate his pasta, no matter what Michael thinks. Dino uses the fact that Michael lied to them about the insider task as justification.

8.03pm – The housemates are having their family dinner discussion. David explains about being gay in the house – people can be accepted for their sexuality and when David entered the house thats exactly what happened. He says the day of the fake wedding was his worst day in the house because in the outside world he doesn’t have the right to get married. Rob and him are both in a situation where they live in a western democracy where they are second class citizens because there are no other people at the dinner table knows what that is like. Rob is in tears.

David: So many of us are barred the rights that so many of you take for granted. Thats one of the fundamental problems with this country.

Claire says he has done bloody good in the house and all the housemates applaud David.

Dino: Before you I never knew a certain lifestyle or a certain way of life.. like I’ve known gay people.. but I never knew the problems you had to go through like the hardships that you’ve felt. I think now with your excellent speeches you’ve recruited 17 people who will fight for whatever you believe in as well.

BREAK

7.51pm – The family dinner continues. It’s Anna’s turn.

Anna: Are female housemates largely stuck up and vain? I personally think that I’m perfect so I don’t think so … nah… I’m joking!

Claire says that personality is far more beautiful that your looks and they should remember that there are girls out there and the housemates should be teaching them that beauty is on the inside. Vanity for David has nothing to do with makeup at all. He doesn’t give two hoots about how you put on your makeup “but if you do make a hell of a fuss about the way your fat is distributed over your body or the fat in the food or when its clearly not a fatty meal you are setting a message to the girls out there that they may be in great shape, they may be just like you but you’ve just said to them you’re a little bit too fat”. Camilla asks if she does it – David says that yes she does do it. Camilla nods in acceptance of that.

Jade says that she is probably the largest girl in the house but over the last few months she’s lost 10 kilos. She was always picked on in school for being fat and ugly and she does look at thin people and when they say they are fat it makes her feel worse because her and people like her think “well I’m way fatter than that”. Jade knows that you aren’t intentionally doing it but it does make others feel negative.

Anna says that Krystal and Camilla have fantastic bodies but they don’t eats some things. They have a mouthfull of porridge for breakfast. Krystal says she has never said she is fat or complained about that – she has put on weight in the house because she doesn’t fit into a lot of her clothes. Anna tells them they need to know they have fantastic bodies but when they turn around and say they need to cut down their foods it makes Anna feel second rate. Camilla continues the discussion but Krystal has become upset and moves to the bathroom alone.

Claire tells the dining table that Katie has already admitted to having an eating disorder, and now Claire admits she’s had one too. “You’re only as beautiful as you feel, so just be beautiful”. Claire starts to get teary. Michael goes to the bedroom to talk to Krystal. He says as much as they have animosity to each other but he wants to put that aside and tell her she’s an extremely stunning, attractive woman. Meanwhile Claire is upset at the dining table and apologises, but everyone say its ok. Krystal is telling Michael that much of this has been brought up because of her and her makeup and Michael was looking at her weird for doing that. Michael personally thinks that Krystal doesn’t need to wear makeup at all.

Rob just wants to move onto the next discussion question now.

Many of the girls are in the bedroom comforting each other and discussing what just happened. Danielle is a little upset she might have caused this, and Camilla is angry that people are thinking she goes around the house worrying about what she eats. Anna soon comes to talk to Krystal and Krystal iterates that she will not change what she does. David comes to see Camilla but she is angry at him because she feels he just called her fat.

David: For gods sake Camilla I’m going to say it once and I’m going to say it out loud: you said to me today at least half a dozen times something to do with your weight, ok? Don’t accuse me of calling you fat if you’ve raised the issue.

David says he’s not going to continue the discussion, but Camilla feels she is being yelled at and can’t respond to the issue. David says he’s not ready to talk to her at all because he’s already explained himself and she’ll have to get him to do it at a different stage – not right now.

Camilla: Thats just really unreasonable.

BREAK

9.55pm – Camilla and David haven’t talked to each other for about two hours. David finally comes over to her and she hugs him and starts crying. She doesn’t want to have an argument with him because she doesn’t really have anybody else in the house. David reminds her that she’s always got him. Camilla apologises for what happened before and wants David to appreciate her. He does appreciate her, but at some times there are things he can’t take about her. He will be there even if he disagrees with her but sometimes he can’t accept some things. They hug again.

Camilla: This whole house is insane! It’s not normal!

Outside Jade is lying on a hammock and Rob is sitting in a chair next to her – just like a psychiatrist’s office! She is feeling down because she feels like she doesn’t have anyone to click with in the house. Even though she clicks with Camilla a lot, Camilla has Dave. Rob and Dave have fit in together because they have something in common and Danielle has fit in with the girls because she’s girly like that. Jade adds thats great but she doesn’t have that. The house is not what she expected. Rob says she needs to stand for what she is and not exclude herself like staying outside like this. Jade comments she is fine but just needs occasional times to think.

Michael tells David there are more people in the house playing the game than he realises. David says if he survives the eviction on Sunday he will help play the game with Michael.

Michael: Between you and me, if you and me are close. We can play this game. We can turn this into something interesting. I couldn’t give a stuff if I win this game, but if we can make it interesting.

David: What do we get if we win this game? $57.80?

Michael: But are you serious?

David: I’ve got nothing to lose.

Michael: I think you need to work this out for yourself.

Jade meanwhile is still lying on the hammock outside, she is talking to herself.

Jade: There are parts to their personalities I like. Sure. But. At the end of the day, they would never be my friends. I mean I’m kinda a bit emotion right now cos its that time of the month. Its just hormones things like that so hopefully by the end of next week I think I’ll be a whole different person and view some of the housemates a bit differently.

She goes inside.

Day 23 Uplate

11:30pm: Dino, John and Michael are in the gym. Dino is saying that when he is asking the girls which guys they like he is complimenting them in a bizarre way, whereas the girls see it as the guys trying to crack onto them. Dino says it’s all in fun. Jamie is also out there. Dino says that Anna got defensive when Dino asked a question such as that today. John says he saw that too. Dino suggests they make their way to the sauna, saying it’s turned into the guys room. He says that Camilla sometimes heads in there, but not many others do apart from the boys. John says Katie goes in there. They say that Karen also used to like to go in there, but she is gone. John says that he rated Karen a 6 when he first walked in the house, but quickly raised her to an 8 when she first got in a bikini. Michael says that he is at the age where he needs a girl to be able to have a conversation with him rather than just simply looks. Michael says that he once went out with a girl who had no personality but looked stunning for 2 months, simply for the sex. John and Jamie both say they haven’t done that. Camilla interrupts wondering if Michael can give her a lesson at something. Michael really doesn’t want to, you can tell, as he’s umming etc. Camilla gets the hint and says that whenever he is ready is fine. He agrees, and the boys are left alone again. John says Moroccian Joe and laughs, and they bring up Elise. Michael says he wishes she was still here. Dino disagrees saying “No. I thought she was a pissweak character.” John agree,s but starts laughing heaps at Dino’s comment. Michael remembers when she was in a clown suit and came out with balloons in her costume. Michael says he felt bad for her. Dino agrees with that. He says she didn’t fit in anywhere, she would stand behind a circle and eventually say “yeh yeh” to a conversation and everyone would turn around and she’d have to walk away because she knew she was a dickhead. They decide to head to the sauna. John keeps laughing at ‘pissweak character’ as they walk in. Dino gets ready for the sauna as John checks on Anna, who is lying on the bed. She says she has a sore throat, and thats she is tired, but she’s alright. Dino heads to the sauna and says he’ll have to leave the bathroom door open because Gaelan just left a lovely smell from going to the toilet.

11:45pm: Heaps of people in the living room. Katie, Krystal, David, Camilla and Claire. Camilla is talking about a guy she met in Coles in Richmond. She says that he was 33, non married and single. She says that had she not been seeing Michael (her kinda boyfriend on the outside) she would have got the guys number. The guy had a kid that the mother no longer wanted since breaking up. Krystal wonders how old Katie would go seeking a boyfriend. She says 26. Gaelan is there, Claire is not, apologies. Gaelan says that age doesn’t really matter to him as long as they are fun. Katie kinda agrees. Krystal says she has been with an older guy, and lets them guess. I think she nodded to 32 as the age. Gaelan says that his brother is 40 but doesn’t look like it, and can still pull 21 year olds. Krystal dated someone who was 26 when she was 17, but she thought he was about 21. Camilla tells a story but there are too many beeps in it, so I have no idea whats going on. Something about a party at her old man’s work, and hiss boss was in the 40’s and asked her to have a drink with her. She says she had to say no when the boss asked her straight out. David changes the subject and tells Katie that he finds her attractive. Krystal wonders whether he finds her attractive, and he says ‘extremely.’ Gaelan asks Dave if he think he himself is attractive (Dave.) Dave says that he knows he’s alright looking, and he says he can get what he wants easily enough. They wonder if Claire is asleep. Krystal says she’s the new Tilli, always sleeping. Katie says she better get up then otherwise she’ll be evicted.

11:57pm: John and Michael are in the sauna. John wonders if Uplate would be on. Michael says it’s better if they don’t mention it or talk about it. They turn their attention to what they think the time is as Jamie climbs into the sauna to join them. John says he’s having a stab in the dark, but he thinks 10:30. Michael agrees. Dino comes in and flashes himself to the other guys. Jamie says he did it three times in the punishment room the other night. Cut to Mike for a bit, then back to the sauna. Dino says that he finds it unfortunate that he gets along with the guys so well and the girls he find irritating. He says if even the smallest thing happens with the girls, he really gets annoyed, wheras if it was one of the guys he wouldn’t think twice about it. John agrees. Dino says that they just don’t think before talking. Michael’s toe is hurting. Jamie gets out and so does Dino. Michael says he’ll stay with John. Michael says that he was very happy with the way things went tonight. John says ‘really’. He says yeh. John said that he didn’t want her to be here John didn’t want him to be here either. Michael says that he’s happier now, and he’ll see what happens in the next day or two. John thinks that it’s crazy with 15 housemates in the house, but says that comfort will come when housemates start to dwindle, and that’ll last for a few weeks, then you’ll become frustrated, and the last stage being the one where you just learn to live with each other. Comm break.

12:11am: Heaps of people in the living area/kitchen. Lots of convo’s and hard to make out. Mike cuts in and spins shit for quite a while. Back to the house, camera following Michael in the bedroom by himself. He’s getting changed. Finally cut back to the living room. Camilla is talking about some show or something. Claire starts talking about Man O Man and how she used to love playing it with her friends back in high school. Jamie agrees that it was a great show. Someone didn’t ever see it, so a few people explain the concept of the show. Camilla talks about Paradise Hotel. Gaelan says The Resort was good. Michael tells them they had to pull it only a tiny way through because of such poor ratings. Krystal seems to have watched it, and then says they must have cancelled it, because she never saw the end. Someone else mentions “The Villa”. Oh dear, talking about crap reality TV.

12:27am: John and Ashley are all that remain on the couch by the looks of it. John seems stunned that Ashley doesn’t drink milk. Ah actually it’s Dave. John says he doesn’t drink it either. Dave says he used to drink 2 litres a day when he lived in town, but not anymore. Claire and Dave start singing “Hungry Eyes.” Michael and Camilla are out in the gym. Michael tells Camilla he’s feeling positive. He says he found out some information from the outside world so he’s happy. Camilla says she can’t believe that he has a son. Michael says he loves the boy to death. Camilla wishes she had known from the start. They start talking about the gym equipment and Michael tells her how to exercise properly. Camilla says she could be going home on Sunday. She says she would be happy with that. Michael says a month is a great accomplishment. Camilla wonders if he’s shocked at not being up. Michael says that he believes everything happens for a reason so he’ll go with the flow. He says thats something is obviously keeping him in the house. Michael says he’s dissapointed that he can’t exercise because of his toe. Camilla suggests asking BB about it. Michael says he did FNL, but perhaps he was just pumped. Michael makes her do 60 seconds seated on the exercise bike going hard. Cut back inside, John is talking to someone. John says that when he’s at uni he tries to do all his homework there so he can veg when he’s home. He says he works part time for his old man who is a builder. Dave wonders if his dad just pays him cash, but John says it all goes through the books. He says he gets $14 an hour. Dave seems suprised. Dino says that it’s handy money when your at uni. John agrees, and says that he is learning so much that he would do it for $10 or so anyway. Dave says he thought $14 was only for farmers. Cut to the bedroom, Anna, Krystal and Jamie are there. Anna thinks she’s been asleep for a bit. Krystal suggests about an hour she has been asleep for. Jamie hums the wedding tune.

12:45am: In the living room. Quite a few people there. Gaelan says he did an outback shoot for another countries magazine or something. They asked him to grow a beard, and he couldn’t. Jamie and Katie whisper with Krystal for a bit. They talk about how they have more rice or something this week. Talk turns to Krystal’s shoots. Her first shoot she was really embarrassed and didn’t want to do a few poses. Someone asks her to do the pose from her last Ralph shoot. Krystal says they’ll bring them back out (on the cover baby!) Krystal tells the guys that Jennifer Hawkins was on the cover when her latest shoot first appeared, and a Michelle from ‘a similar reality show.’ Krystal seems worried now, and talks to Gaelan wondering whether they can release photos without Krystal herself giving them the go ahead. Gaelan says they properly can because she didn’t sign a non release. (Perhaps the latest shoot was the fruitshop one and the test shoot Krystal was worried about is the one in the latest Ralph.) Gaelan says they are most likely out now. Krystal seems concerned, so Katie tells her that she has some shockers out there somewhere. Gaelan says “oh but you mum loves those school photos.” It gets a laugh. Actually Krystal now explains the test shoot she did, saying she is having an ice cream which is dripping down her skin and she’s sitting down legs apart front on to the camera, with her pants pulled down a long way and a really short tight top. Katie says thats ok though, because she’s covered.

1:02am: Gaelan says that he has half a grapefruit everyday. Krystal says that it’s a really great fruit. Talk changes to Subway. Krystal says the last time she was there she asked for a little bit more tomato, and they charged her a $1 more. Katie talks about a Brazilian guy who totally won her over by just giving her the nicest compliments and saying everything she wanted to hear. Comm break.

1:15am: Jamie is talking to David about his brother. He says his brother tells him all the time that Dad is running the company he owns wrong and he should be doing this, this and this. He says that his brother is very switched on. Jamie says that when one of his friends is hanging out and his brother is there Jamie can’t get a word in and is totally out of the conversation because it goes over his head. He tells Dave that it’s been awesome growing up with his two brothers, referring to them as his two best mates. He says that if you invite a friend over to hang at his place it’s an honour, because they just don’t bring friends over because they are that close they don’t need anyone else. Jamie explains John and Ben, his brothers in a bit more detail. However. we’re taken to the bedroom where everyone is seated around Camilla who has just had a panic attack. Claire is talking very softly and calmly towards her and telling her to breathe through her nose. Krystal tells her that she has a very cute nose. A small smile shows up on her face. Krystal says that Claire should be a nurse. Claire says it’s basic; you can’t panic when another person is panicking around you. Camilla says that her head feels really strange. Camilla says she just feels like going to sleep now, she’s so tired. Claire says she will feel like that. Camilla stands and makes her way to the diary room, which almost opens as soon as she hits the button. We hear Jamie say that he doesn’t think another girl will go. He then thinks about it, and takes it back.

1:28am: Camilla is just getting into bed. Katie and Anna are making sure she’s ok. Krystal yells out “Sweet dreams Camilla.” Anna gets her a face wipe to get the makeup off. Anna tells her that she’ll make sure the housemates are quiet if they come into the bedroom. Back out to the kitchen. Jamie says a girl started talking Swedish girl outside a lecture theatre, and later found out she was royalty. A princess from Sweeden. Jamie says that she was talking Swede, and he stood there and freaked out! Michael says that he does look Sweedish. Jamie says it was a big regret walking away from her, not knowing who she was. ‘Big’ Big Brother calls John to the diary room. Jamie says batteries. Dave helps him discover it was Princess Victoria. This happened at a university in Stockholm (sp?). Jamie wonders how Dave knows so much about them. Dave says he knows stuff. Jamie thinks that Dave knows them, but he denies it. Dave says that he would there though, because she is spectatular. John comes out and it’s a battery change all round. Katie grabs one for Camilla. Feed cuts to Katie changing Camilla’s mic. Katie tells her that everyone is concerned about her out there. Back to the kitchen. David says that Sweeden is a hated country because they are so liberal. Krystal yells something quite loudly. David says he has been to most of Europe but not Sweeden. He says Finland people are quite rude. He says they take their clothes off all the time. Gaelan says he wouldn’t worry about that. Comm break.

1:41am: Katie says she loves the colour of John’s eyes. She says she likes Jamie’s as well, but says they look like big pupils sometimes. Jamie gives her a cuddle. Ashley and Gaelan continue working on the dishes. Claire tells them that there are no more dishes lying around. Cut to the bedroom where the lights are out. Camilla is talking to someone, saying she didn’t want to push it with her GP. She is talking to Dave. She says she has had a panic attack before. Jamie comes over and Camilla apologises for sleeping in his bed. Jamie says he’s going to sleep with Dino, so he’s going to sleep naked and hopes Dino can deal with it. Camilla says she is embarrassed with her panic attack. Cut to the bathroom. Katie, Ashley, John, Michael and Gaelan are in there, most brushing their teeth. At 1:51am, Dreamworld says goodnight.

7.33pm – Big Brother has brought the housemates to the living room, and explains there is another housemate with a secret, who has been working against them. He then shows the HMs footage of Michael acting as the insider. The group quickly realises that Reuben was made up, and throw pillows at Michael. Karen questions Michael directly but there is no response at first. Footage on the plasma screens then changes to Michael discussing in the diary room David’s emotional reaction to the Reuben story. David looks annoyed, and Anna has started to cry. Some one swears at Michael, who stands up and explains he had to do what he did. Anna, who is now very upset asks why he had to make up stories like that when some of the housemates don’t even know their parents, like Krystal and Anna who both don’t know her father. Michael says he didn’t know that, but Anna says she has told him this before.

Michael: I’m sorry you feel this way but I had to pick something, where I was going to upset people.

Anna continues to cry. Michael explains he felt bad lying to people but if he didn’t do it he would have been evicted immediately. BB says the housemates are free to leave the lounge. Camilla quietly comments that Michael’s story was a little too complicated. David goes outside to the gym, trying to hold back his anger. Ash is doing weights, and says he doesn’t really care.

Ash: There are people like Mikey, who generally aren’t nice people at all.

David: This is not right… not right.. you just don’t… shouldn’t do this. Thats not good. What good can come from that?

Ash: You see thats where he’s in the wrong because he could have chosen anything.

David: He could have easily kept on doing annoying stuff. This is why I live on a farm because of this… stuff.

Karen joins them, and agrees with Ash’s comments. Ash says it isn’t fair because Ash has stayed true to himself and been nominated whereas Michael has lied and gets saved from nominations. Krystal repeats the effect it has on her and Anna, and Ash adds that he only just lost his father last year so it impacts him too. Dave is still very unhappy and wanders around “I’m sick of the lies”.

Anna: I really took that to heart, that story.

David: So you should! So you should! We’re human beings, we’re meant to be polite we’re meant to hear people’s problems. What sort of a human being am I to think this is part of his stategy to get further in the game.

Meanwhile inside Claire and Katie are saying to Michael he should go and speak to people about this – they add he’s a strong character though. Claire is glad she’s not getting sucked up in the drama.

David tells the group huddled in the gym about the earlier instance where he looked Michael in the eye and asked him if his son story was part of his strategy. Michael looked him in the eye and said no. This outrages Krystal, who goes inside and asks “hey Mikey, is that why you never did any housework, so we would vote you out?”. Michael doesn’t answer the question, instead deflecting to his own question “why are you so upset now?”.

Michael: I was the one who delegated chores.

Krystal: No I mean since Day 1

Michael: You and me are going to have a conversation outside. If you want to go on show, I will put you on show. If you want to act childish… I will put you on show. Just grow up, and we’ll have a conversation outside. If you want to act like that I will embarrass you as much as you want to embarrass me. Just grow up, settle down, and we’ll chat later.

Katie: …. hrm… I’m feeling ackward.

Dino: (to Michael) Don’t tell me that was a mission because that was totally uncalled for.

Michael: We’ll she’s complaining… so….

Dino: To me it seemed like she asked a simple question.

Michael: Just wait, I’m going to speak to you later.

Krystal: I feel like I’m at school

Dino: Sounds to me like you’ve got a lot of people to talk to. Sort that out first.

Katie: This is intense.

BREAK

8.21pm – Big Brother has all the housemates in the diary room. He explains there are too many housemates talking about nominations tonight. This must stop. While they are in the diary room intruder Rob is lead through to the lounge room. When the housemates leave the diary room, they find Rob on the lounge room. Anna is the first person to see Rob, stops and says “oh my god”. David is the first to go up and say hello, and shakes Rob’s hand.

While the others go to greet Rob, David says “looks like I’m not the only fag”, which sends Dino it a fit of laughter. Michael tells David they have to chat. The girls are all over Rob, especially Anna, asking him questions about where he has been and if he is staying. David is lying on the couch when Claire comes over to him laughing. David doesn’t look very impressed at the new intruder. Infact, he looks at Rob like he’s a circus attraction.

Anna comes over and says “is this your perfect match or what?”. David replies “no, no I think I can easily say no”.

Meanwhile Camilla is letting Rob know that David is gay as well. She then gives him a tour of who sleeps where in the bedroom.

David wonders where Rob will be sleeping, and then as a joke screams out “Dino!”. Camilla rejoins him in the living room and says “this is insane!”.

Camilla: It’s like some one climed through the television and came to us!

Anna needs to clarify that Rob is infact an intruder while the other half of the house are bombarding David with questions whether David will pair up with Rob. David has changed his tune slightly now and says “its too early to tell”. The girls discover Rob is a hairdresser and all scream in excitement, realising he can style their hair in the house.

A little later Michael is outside with Anna to discuss the insider issue. Anna says he could have picked something better as a story. Michael explains he thought if he had only said something like “family problems” was not going to be enough. David is suddenly now happy there is another gay guy in the house. He wanted to leave tonight but now its completely turned around now. A group of them agree its not Michael’s fault.

9.31pm – Anna and Michael’s discussion has now moved to the bedroom. Anna tells him not to hide away in the house, and to come and meet Rob. Big Brother suddenly interupts, saying its time to meet their newest housemate. Anna runs off, leaving Michael where he is. The housemates collect outside, and Jade enters the area through the rewards room. Again, the existing girls in the house are all screams and excitement. They all introduce each other.

Michael however is back in the bedroom. He says “I don’t want to play this anymore”, takes off both his shoes and throws them at the wall in anger.

BREAK

9.38pm – The housemates have all gathered around the tables outside to have drinks. They decide they need to have a learn-about-Jade session. Jade says she is “a westie… yeah!”.

Michael is on his own in the toilet.

Jade explains she does three things: she studies PR, has her own tutoring business and she has a job as an office manager.

Michael leaves the toilet and starts moping around the bedroom. John comes over and tells him he should join the others and meet the new intruders. Michael says in the begining he has not been able to be himself. John explains that if he doesn’t go outside everyone will think he’s being an asshole. Michael just wants to chill out and stay out of people’s way – he doesn’t know the point of continuing now because everyone is pissed off at him and will nominate him anyway.

Jade tells the HMs she is nuts – and has been described as “nutty”. She’s not bitchy though – unless people are bitchy to her first. Very opinionated.

Dino comes to the bathroom where Michael and John are, and tells Michael to snap out of it. He suggests Michael stop looking in the past now that his insider missions have finished and start living in the house from this point on. “Give up on Krystal I reckon”. Michael agrees to come outside and on their way out asks Dino if the new girl is hot. Dino says not really, but she is nice. He runs into Rob who asks if there is anything wrong and feels the need to bond with him. David says thats not really a good thing to do right now.

Michael: I feel really bad for what I’ve done to people in this house, how I’ve manipulated them.

Rob: Do you think they respect you enough to understand that?

Claire: Some do, some don’t

Michael: I don’t know, thats what I’m dealing with. I’m having a hard time…

Rob: So instead of having a hissy fit you need to suck it up?

Michael: I’m not having a hissy fit I’m just… I was chilling myself out for a while.

Rob: Have faith in yourself that they can see through that. Because you’re a good guy.. you’ll be fine!

Michael asks David if he’s alright. David doesn’t know just yet. They sit together outside. David explains as soon as he heard about Rueben he knew there was no son.

David: In my reality, people don’t lie.

Michael: I realise that but in my reality to blatantly lie was something I thought I had to do.

David: I was convinced you had lied and I just wanted you to…

David starts crying.

David: I just felt like a (censor beep).

Michael explains how he had to do what he did otherwise he’d have been nominated.

BREAK

11.03pm – Jamie is acting the council for David in the bedroom. He hopes David isn’t feeilng the pressure of people nudging him about hooking up with Rob. David explains he’s not just going to get together with some one because it fits – he wants to be with some one it fits perfectly. Tonight he felt the worse he had ever felt in the house but now he feels the best.

Anna and Katie are lying in a hammock outside. Katie explains she wouldn’t have voted for Michael, and Anna yells at her to stop talking about nominations but she keeps going. Big Brother then fines Katie $5000 and calls her to the punishment room. Quickly on her way there she tells Anna what she thinks of the intruders: Jade is like Camilla and Rob is like her. In the punishment room Katie must sort brown rice from white rice.

Big Brother annouces there is an intruder in the house, and calls all housemates to the living room. Danielle enters through the diary room door, much to the excitement of everyone, again. Katie watches from the punishment room in shock. Jamie points out her girlfriend through the glass and they wave. Karen gives Danielle a tour of the house almost instantly, along with the other girls. They discover Danielle is 18, so she is the new baby of the house.

12.59am – Katie is now out of the punishment room, and is talking with Jade in the bedroom. She asks Jade if she is loving it.. “yeah”. Jade feels a bit pushed out, she’s not jealous or anything but she’s not he girly girl and she’s not the guy so she’s just inbetween. Katie says she will get along with her. Jade explains she has lost the girls now because Danielle is so girly. Jade is exactly right: at that moment Danielle is talking about girly things with the original female housemates. They explain there are no hair curling irons in the house, and explain their different hairstyles.

Ashley and Gaelan are in the sauna.

Ash: That Dani chick is good looking

Gaelan: She’s haaaaaawt.

Ash: Jade seems like she’s full of personality.

Gaelan: She seems great… she’s going to be a wild one.

Gaelan says he didn’t notice Claire in the first week – Ash is similar. The two laugh about it.

Gaelan: Rob seems pretty good… he’s camp as but he’s a good guy.

They both agree tonight has been “a trip of a night”.

10.26am – The girls are up discussing how great Katie looked yesterday at her wedding. Katie announces they agreed to be officially boyfriend and girlfriend. The girls all cheer in excitement. Katie says “its so preschool!”. Anna runs around the kitchen counter and gives her a hug, then plants a whole lot of kisses on her. Camilla goes to the bathroom, where Jamie is and says she’s heard they have decided to be a couple – Jamie doesn’t say anything about it though, but walks out singing to himself. Outside Katie tries to get Jamie to do a Patrick Swayzie move where she jumps into his arms.

Michael keeps whining about how he’s going next week. Claire tells him pretty much to shut up. Michael tells Claire his fake son story. She says “really Mikey?”. Yes.. he will turn 9 on June 30. His son speaks English, Italian, French and Spanish, apparently. Talk moves to potential partners, and Michael suggests Claire and Gaelan. Claire says outside the house it would never happen but in the house he’s a nice guy. Dino would probably be the option, but she is unsure.

Jamie, John and Dino are in the sauna and Jamie asks if they have been told Michael’s “problem”. They have. Jamie doesn’t know but guesses – he got a girl pregnant but doesn’t know if its actually his son. John and Dino say thats it, and Jamie roots for himself for guessing correctly. They tell him not to go talking about it. Jamie feels bad for what he said in the diary room earlier being critical of Michael for using an empty excuse to justify his bizarre behaviour. Dino says Michael wants to leave but he doesn’t want to do it on his own. Dino thinks its a tactic – but none of them think he’s making it up.

In the kitchen David and Katie make the comment that Krystal has been talking to Gaelan quite a bit. “It is so intense”. Krystal insists she knows when some one is into her, and this is not the case. Katie doesn’t think so – Krystal is like Katie.. secretly thinking “I hope he is”. Krystal says no but smiles and looks away which sends Katie into a flurry.

Krystal: “I think he’s alright… alright”.

BREAK

4.43pm – Claire, Katie and Anna are lying on each other on a bed to pass the time. Anna pushes Katie off the bed and they all have a laugh.

Michael is outside telling Dino that Clarie expressed some interest in Dino earlier in the day. Dino says she’s pretty much the only one he’d be interested in now. But it wasn’t like that at first… now that he’s gotten to know her more she is more attractive. Michael doesn’t find Anna attractive at all now. Dino says she has put on weight and she’s immature – a good girl for a fling or a night out but needs to sort some things out.

Michael predicts couples:

Krystal and Gaelan
Jamie and Katie
Dino and Claire
John and Anna
and then intruders.

The girls are putting on makeup and doing up their hair for the eviction. Karen bites Camilla’s head off for touching her comb.

7.47pm – It’s time to go Karen. She jumps up and screams “yes! I’m excited I’m going home!”. Katie hugs Krystal and says “you still got us kiddo”. Camilla tells Michael her resolution for the week is to lose a few kilos because she will be up for eviction again next week. Ashley comments that Krystal cried when Tilli left but not her own mum. Anna thinks Krystal can be herself now that her mum isn’t here. Camilla will take this week as a gift. Anna says it’s fantastic Camilla is still here and they hug.

Camilla: You drive me crazy but I swear… there’s not enough real people in this house, you know?

Some HMs are outside and Gaelan explains Krystal’s relationship with her mum is so far from his relationship with his mum. They don’t have the friendship thing going.

Inside Dino is complaining yet again.

Dino: I’ve never had anyone rub me up the wrong way as Krystal is right now. She’s not even doing anything to me directly shes just annoying. … The 5 hour makeup session.

And yet again Michael is agreeing. He says he’s in the same boat but has his own reasons.

Meanwhile Katie and Jamie are playing outside. She is spanking him on the bottom playfully with a spoon.

BREAK

8.06pm – Camilla is telling Michael how lucky she feels. Michael says he’s glad Karen has gone. “I’m surprised she wanted to go, she was so financially motivated, I’ve never met some one so worried about money”. Camilla says her position was her time away from her kids needed to be compensated. David comes over and jokes that Michael will be the new mother figure.

Michael proudly says that everyone will have a better time now that Karen is gone.

David is now the oldest person in the house.

10.10pm – David comes to the diary room. He is definately going to miss her presence, more than anyone except for Krystal. “I think she’s happy to be out but I’ve really lost a good mate and… not the happiest little camper”. He thinks he will have to change as a character because he won’t have the ability to talk about the things he wants to talk about. BB asks if he is happy in the house. David says it is very strange – there are farm animals here but its so far removed from his outside happiness, which is being on his farm and the joy he gets every day waking up and knowing he’s making a difference.

David: Each day is good but.. definately I’m not happy.

Krystal is changing her clothes when Camilla comes over and reports that Michael was saying things about Krystal’s mum within 2 minutes of her leaving the house. He’s happy that she’s gone, money hungry etc. Krystal says that her mum has not had anything all her life, so why not wanting to have something. Camilla felt Michael’s actions were like dancing on the grave before it had even been layed. Camilla says Karen is a good person – for some one her age she has been through a lot. Krystal thanks Camilla for her honesty.

BREAK

10.42pm – John talks about Claire getting with Dino while she is within earshot. Dino says the opportunity is there but he doesn’t know if they will take it. He’s been thinking about it. Claire meanwhile is telling Michael she is so big on personality when it comes to relationships – 110% loves guys coming up to her and commenting on her personality rather than (and uses Dino in an earlier instance as an excuse) just saying she looks pretty. Michael says Dino’s personality is shining through.

John explains he thinks Anna is the hottest girl in the house. Dino does not admire the situation Jamie is in. “She’s a fun girl but when it comes to boyfriends she’s a headcase”. John is starting to see insecurities in her.

Jamie and Katie are outside in the hammocks lying together.

Dino keeps on going – she has latched onto Jamie and has high expectations. David says they are attracted to each other but on the outside he doesn’t think it would have happened.

Jamie meanwhile is telling their relationship is working out quite good together – he wants a girl who is also his best friend. Usually he has a girly-girls.

2.53am – Anna questions John’s comments yesterday that he would never have a long term relationship with her. John says he is the kind of guy she wouldn’t want anything to do with. Anna knows. John isn’t looking for a relationship and Anna is looking for love.

Anna: Thats ok because I don’t like you anyway, reguardless of what you’re looking for.

John says that if she made a move on him he would go for it but he wouldn’t want to persue a relationship. Anna sarcastically says thats fantastic. John explains its because she is not exactly what he’s looking for in a partner.

John: Anna, if you came up to any of these guys tonight and said I want to spoon with you, they wouldn’t say no.

Michael: Um… I would.

Dino doesn’t believe him. Anna has had enough and says goodnight, and moves towards the bedroom.

Ashley lifts up his legs and farts.

Ashley: Thats the first fart I’ve done all day. It was a bad fart it didn’t smell.

Day 20 Uplate

10:37pm: Michael and Ashley are in the rewards room. Michael says that Ashley has always been friendly with him. Ashley says there are shallow people in the house. Michael says that many haven’t taken the time. Ashley agrees, saying that he was so peeved when he found out that Karen was only here for the money. Michael agrees. He says that they are all here for the money at the back of the mind, but they are trying to make some friends as well. Ashley says that when she’s talking about refinancing her house and all these things, it makes him think about doing the same thing when he gets out, and says to Michael that it probably makes him think about Rueben. Michael says it does, and says that Karen is setting a bad example for Krystal, and together they set a bad example for all teenage female girls. He goes onto say that he doesn’t think they provide anything in this house. He says that Camilla, even though everyone can’t stand her, she offers something to the house, and that woman can assert themselves. Ashley agrees completely. Comm break.

10:51pm: Ashley says he gets bored very easily, and if he stuck around a long time, he would be over it by the time it gets down to low numbers. He says he would love to win though. Ashley talks about his bowling victories and coming second numerous times in other sports. He says it would be a dream come true to win this game. He says that after BB he’s up for anything; he says that nothing comes to him, he’ll go back to laying bricks. He says if he has to go back to TAFE he will, but he’ll wait and see. He says he’s excited. Michael says he’s injuured. They talk about how the rewards room is setup for Guy/Girl action. Ashley says that you can’t expect anything in this house. Michael is a bit worried he spoke to BB a bit rudely the other day. Comm break.

11:05pm: Housemates seem to have just received some alcohol, and are sitting at the dining table. Seem to have audio from Ashley as well, so it’s a bit hard. He’s asking Michael what number he thinks he should choose for the boxes. The girls say that the alcohol is good stuff, and thank BB. Krystal says she would’ve preferred Cruisers. Ther girls talk about a mock wedding they’ve been planning all week between Jamie and Katie. Mike cuts in for ages, and we go to a comm break.

11:13pm: We join Michael in the diary room. Big Brother is telling him the rules for choosing one box of the three. He makes sure that Michael will read the rules out loud once Big Brother tells him to do so. He is sent out to the rewards room. Mike cuts in and talks as Michael makes his way to the rewards room. He reads the letter out loud as Ashley watches on. While he waits for Big Brother’s instructions, he prays. BB asks him which box he wants; Michael replies 3. He opens the box to find he’s won the laundry service for 3 housemates. He checks the other boxes, fortune cookie in box 1, and the trip to China in box 2. Big Brother congratulates Michael. He says out loud “Oh well Mum, we don’t get the trip.” He says he won’t pick Ashley because he’s in here with him for the laundry. Ashley says he should pick Johnny. Comm break.

11:24pm: Most housemates are outside sitting down. Very hard to make out any conversations. They talk about how people use the phrase ‘cutting my lunch’ or ‘grass’ to describe people stealing boyfriends/girlfriends. Katie and Anna argue over who hasn’t had enough wine yet. Ashley has joined them, it seems Michael is the only absent member around the table. Someone farts and heaps of people call out ‘chick peas.’ They ask what Ashley had for dinner, and he tells them Chinese. Comm break.

11:37pm: Everyone still sitting around the outside table. Ashley and Claire are talking about the rewards room. They talk about the shampoos, and then Ashley tells Claire about a cannister she never found in there. Claire tells Dino that they found the tea in the rewards room. Anna and Katie still arguing about alcohol. Another comm break!

11:46pm: Anna gets up from the table and goes inside. She soon comes back out. Dino tells a story from tonight’s FNL. He says he knocked other people over when they were in those big massive head things they had to wear. Michael is now at the table. Katie is talking to Dino, they continue talking about FNL. Still way to much shouting and conversation to make any sense of it. Camilla has bought out a heap of glasses for some reason. But that ends the program. Dreamworld says goodnight.

10.16am – Big Brother announces the hot water is now on. Katie and Jamie wake up to face each other in bed. Claire, Anna and Gaelan are up in the kitchen cooking pancakes. Katie gets up to do some laps around the backyard. Anna says “she wouldn’t be running if she wasn’t upset”. After a few laps by Katie Anna goes outside to talk about her – but Katie doesn’t really want to talk about it right now, because she doesn’t know whats happening. Katie goes back to really sprinting around the yard. Anna reports back to Gaelan and Claire: she thinks its off and the relationship is just splitting.

In the rewards room Ashley is up and comments he will just sunbathe today. They wonder if the wedding will happen today. Michael comments the couple are pretty full on.

11.58am – Katie, in the bathroom, says her legs are so hairy – she can’t remember the last time she shaved. She tells Anna the wedding will still happen because Claire is so set on it. Katie doesn’t think the whole thing will blow over, and Jamie is pretty pissed off.

In the sauna Karen tells Krystal the situation and how Katie is jealous of Jamie flirting with her. Krystal says she didn’t do anything, and Karen agrees. Krystal says that Anna is the worst because she’s all over Jamie, and everyone else, but Katie isn’t jealous of her.

Karen: The boys… they’re such suckers.

Anna goes outside and relays the situation to Jamie in an attempt to remedy the situation… or not? Jamie wasn’t happy that Katie accused him 2 minutes after he went to the effort of proposing. Anna has changed her tune and says Katie was stupid for doing that.

Katie is in the diary room – she is confused and it still hurts a lot and she can’t get away, which is what she usually does in the outside world with guys. In here she can’t, and she has to sleep next to him. “We have to sort something out… we’re going to get married so we have to talk before this afternoon.. my god.. pressure!”. BB asks her if she still wants to get married… she does jokingly, but its just really weird.

BREAK

1.36pm – The couple finally talk outside. He explains how he feels about the abrupt accusation. Katie thinks she should just leave it then.

Jamie: Is your standard mechanism for relationships just to back off before you get hurt?

Katie: Pretty much.

Jamie doesn’t want to be with anyone else, he’s not going to try. Katie says they should just leave it then. He thinks she’s overthinking all of this stuff. The two discuss their relationship further and end up at a resolution. Katie says if she ever gets like this again, tell her to shutup.

Jamie: You’re my best friend and more in here.

They hug.

Later the two go to the diary room and announce to Big Brother they have reconciled their differences, and plan to press on with the wedding. They as Big Brother if he can help them with the wedding with food or flowers or decorations. Big Brother says he will get back to them.

Later on and the housemates have set up an aisle in the backyard with towels, pool toys and whatever else they can find. The alter is the the outside deck.
Katie inspects it, and skips back inside.

BREAK

5.07pm – Housemates are getting dressed for the wedding. Gaelan is the celebant, Ash is father of the bride (as in mafia terms), David is the token gay cousin and Karen is the ooka mother in law. Camilla is going for a Kath and Kim themed character, and jokes about bringing her slippers to the wedding. Karen says its all good because they’ve organised it themselves. Katie is getting ready in the bathroom and Anna helps her with her veil.

The boys are all outside and Jamie doesn’t know what to say – he has wedding jitters and is jumping up and down. Katie is finally ready and Ash walks her outside. Katie walks down the aisle and the housemate all cheer the organ music, clapping as well. Gaelan welcomes them all to the wedding and reads the opening speech:

Gaelan: Well, it seems like years ago, but it was only but 3 weeks when we first walked through those doors and into this house. Thats when they boldly layed eyes on each other and asked, do you have a bed partner? And hooked up.

Gaelan says a prayer, that is incomprehensible. Jamie asks what he says now, and Gaelan isn’t so sure – she Jamie wings it.

Jamie: I pledge for the rest of my time in the house I don’t mind being little spoon or big spoon. Reguardless of what you’re like I will do my best not to leave my underpants in various locations around the house and I will concentrate all my boy bouncing on her for the rest of our time in the house.

He the sings “oh Katie you’re my giiirl… you’re the only girl for meeee”.

Katie: I remember the first time I seen ya, when you walked in I just knew I had to be your bed partner. And I can’t wait for tonight you know what I mean! Yeeeah!

Jamie then puts the ring on Katie’s hand while the other housemates sing a song led by Gaelan.

Gaelan: And now you may kiss your bride.

Jamie: sick!

They kiss. All the housemates cheer. They then run down the aisle. Later Katie throws the bouquette and they have a small wedding cake in the living room. Big Brother announces his congratulations to the bride and groom.
