Day 27

3:54pm – The housemates are all working on a craft task, until Saxon comes out of the diary room with some safety rules from Big Brother. Ben is not happy that a 19 year old is in charge of the rules. This really annoys Leah who says “where’s your fucking trust in young people you dickhead”. Ben is clearly beaten and says nothing.

8:09pm – Jo is talks about her relationship worries, then promises to do 400 laps of the backyard in the morning. Ben doesn’t believe her and says she’ll never do it. He then elaborates by saying that he watched her with Leah one time before and she was counting inaccurately while running laps. Jo says she really hates being called a liar, and goes outside. Saxon says that Ben will do anything for attention, even if he’s not right.

Jo goes into the kitchen and asks Leah if what Ben said was true. Leah says she had nothing to do with it, and it was all Ben and Saxon.

11:55pm – Leah is explaining that she has wised up to Ben’s bullshit. Belinda agrees. In the kitchen Saxon is bitching to Jo (again) about Belinda. He says her voice is like a four year old’s. Although he then states he will probably regret not getting to know her. He’d rather get to know Jo.

Belinda explains to Leah back in the house that Saxon’s attitudes are because of Carlo’s influence. She says that the first few days Saxon was in the house he was nice to her and they were beginning to get to know each other well, but then Carlo “grabbed him” and Saxon changed. Leah says she’s going to be pulled down by Ben because of his manipulations. Belinda says Chrissie suspected something was dodgy with Ben. Leah states she feels bad because she made presumptions about Chrissie based on Ben’s attitudes. She admits she hasn’t given Chrissie a fair chance.

1:31am – Ben explains why he likes to stir things up… because he is bored. He expects to leave the house within the next few weeks. He states he is bored shitless, and he won’t be sad to leave the house when the time comes.

Day 26 Uplate

Hey all,

I’m sorry to say but I have only just started watching the episode tonight at 12:30am or so. Sorry for missing the first part, but I was stuck at work. Nevermind, moving on.

When I turned it on I found almost everyone out in the kitchen, making stuff to eat and just making conversation. Ben is absent from the group however. I did hear that Chrissie is in love with the name Regina, and is thinking of calling a future cat of hers that name. Regina just laughed.

Saxon asks Reggie where his cup of special milk is, and Reggie says “you said you didn’t want one!” They go back and forth saying ‘I did, I didn’t’ etc, and then Reggie keeps trying to give it to him. In the end, Saxon tells Reggie he was just pissing with her, but he did ask for one, and would like one next time she makes it. Thats ends the little standoff over the milk!

Saxon moves into the bedroom to visit Ben. When we join the conversation, Ben is talking about Chrissie and how cold the girl is. I think they are retelling the reaction he got last night when he went and talked about Reggie with them (see last nights recap.) Before long, they move onto talking about Daniel, and how hard his life must have been to date. For this weeks task, the housemates have had to basically reveal their life story to each other, and Daniel, who has lost both his parents, told his in the afternoon. He specificially said he was telling it just because he had too, and was not playing for the sympathetic votes. Chrissie got emotional during the story. Anyway, Ben says that while it is a sad childhood, they must all be aware to treat him as they have treated him thus far in the house, and the actions of all cannot change because of his past, revealing it today.

The camera’s then panned back to the kitchen, but there were too many conversations going on, and it was hard to concentrate. The trivia guy said that they were planning on having a group meeting soon to thrash out any arguments and tension in the house. He seeemed to think it would be tonight…we’ll wait and see.

Back in the square bedroom, Leah and Regina have joined Ben and Saxon. Regina passes wind, and Ben is onto it quicker than anyone, so he grabs her in a headlock type thing and trys to give back the nice smell, but in her face. I don’t think he achieives it! Soon they are talking about notes on the guitar or something, and Ben calls Pat in to find out the answer. The first thing Pat says is to be careful of the guitar, as he doesn’t want it broken… Anyway, it seems Saxon had the right notes, and Ben was wrong. Commercial break.

Trivia dude comes back, and gives the hint for the second brain teaser. He also trys a joke, saying in a sexy type voice “It’s 1am, give me a call!”, trying to take off one of those phone call services. Anyway, back to the bedroom, and it looks everyone is crowding into the square bedroom, almost all around Ben’s bed. Ben and Belinda are playing kick to kick along the corridor in the bedroom, while Saxon yells out to Vincent that he’s going to ask for a shower, for the reward they won yesterday or something.

Pat joins Leah, Claire and Regina in the bedroom talking, Regina saying that “Pat has joined the pussy club.” Ah, she’s a classic alright! Ben has gone out into the square living area, somewhere where we hardly see anymore. Vincent and Saxon are getting ready for their shower, so it looks like BB granted their request.

Jo and Ben have just been looking for the guitar pick, Reggie actually having it the entire time. Ben resumes his footy (AFL) kick to kick. Chrissie has joined the talk on the beds in the square bedroom, doing hair or something with Leah at the moment. Actually I jumped the gun it seems BB is doing maintence tonight, and they’ll be a lockdown, and so the showers can’t be used at the moment. The lockdown hasn’t started yet, as we go to another break.

Trivia dude starts talking absolute rubbish. He says BB has locked them down in their rooms, without them (the trivia dude and others in the BB compound) knowing what it’s for. Do they take us for fools!!! Anyway, he gives us the hint, and back to the action.

Reggie looks tired out, not talking to anyone, thinking to herself, for god sake BB, get these people out of my room, and let me sleep! A singalong is currently in motion, before they stop and try to get some guidelines in place for the singalong, What the??!!

Belinda and Saxon have moved into the round bedroom, but the singing is still very loud, almost drowning out their conversation. They sit on the bed together in silence, listenig to the song next door. Belinda gets up midway to join them, and Saxon just sits there by himself. They start the house version of “Tomorrow, I’ll love you” which goes “Tomorrow, I’ll kill you, etc, Close your eyers and I’ll kill you”. Jo goes back to her room, and has a laugh with Saxon as she keeps singing. She asks Saxon if it’s pajama time, to which he says yes. Who wouldn’t say yes! Commercial break.

Instead of MBFGL inbetween the daily show and the eviction on Sunday they are screening the show Idol: The Phenomemon. Just shows the international versions of Idol, and what the Aussie version will look like I imagine. Oh, nice, an 18 year old girl wins the $1000 for the night. But she said she might make her way down to the casino. Fool!!!!

Back to the house, Ben and Reggie are having a wrestle, laughing their heads off. He’s got her head inbetween his knees, and he won’t let her out. They finaly break away, before Vincent re-enters the room, and they all start pushing and shoving (the three of them!) Chrissie seems to be on talking terms with Ben, or is it just me. Everyone is in the room now, and a few are singing ‘Kombahyah’ or whatever it is. Jo just did something funny off camera, but they are all laughing. Chrissie says they should sing something new, and Ben yells out “Sweet child of mine.” Someone belts out the main line in that before giving up. Did Pat know how to play the guitar before entering? I didn’t think he knew much, but he’s ok, playing and singing at the same time at the moment. Never heard of the song, or it might just be cause of the groups bad singing! Commercial break :)

Back from the break, almost everyone is singing “You Better Come Home Soon.” Now that actually sounded quite good. The lights have been switched off as well. They are onto “You Will Never Meet Again”, also quite good job they are doing. Regina is talking over the top of it though, and Leah is yelling out for Dan now.

BB cuts away from the action, and we spend the next few minutes going round the backyard with the camera’s. Nothing happening out here. This has lasted for seven minutes now. They move inside the house, and so you can hear singing, but still just showing the inside of the house, and not actually the bedroom. Perhaps showing us one last look of it before they do something else to it….who knows!

In the background, “For the longest time” is being belted out by the housemates. I just can’t figure out why they have cut the bedroom feeds. And again, back outside. I’m waiting for the trivia guy to come back and tell us something, but unlikely, because he said goodnight after the trivia finished. Hmm, thats it, Dreamworld says goodnight.

Keep Looking for Warren,
Dave

Day 26

The housemates are all waking up to a new day in the Big Brother house. Regina wakes up the sleepyheads while Saxon goes for a morning jog around the backyard. Chrissie and Belinda are talking about Ben outside. Chrissie says that from now on she’s not going to listen to anything negative Ben has to say about her or other housemates. Belinda is glad she has taken this stance. Chrissie explains that Ben’s gossiping of other housemates throws her into crazyness. She states “who the fuck is he?” (Ben). From now on Chrissie is going on what she perceives as the truth. According to Chrissie, Ben’s is poisonous company.

1:45pm – Ben has slept in after gossiping about the other housemates into the early hours of the morning. He finally gets up to the delight of Regina. Outside he quickly talks to Saxon who tells him he’s on 390 laps of the backyard. Regina tells him he should stop otherwise he’ll get sick like Jo has. Ben isn’t impressed and says that’s only 20kms (like he can do any better).

Jo is visited in her sick bed by Vincent. She says she must look shocking. Back in the kitchen Ben is explaining how great it is that everyone is staying quiet, and suspects that Vincent is in with Jo giving “first aid”.

Saxon finishes before his 400 laps and Ben tells Saxon he knew he wouldn’t make it. Regina is more worried about Saxon becoming over-exhausted and sick. Later in the back yard, Leah starts bitching about other housemates again. She mentions two other housemates who were gossiping in the bedroom and woke her up.

2:45pm – Ben has gone into the bedroom to talk to Jo just after bashing Vincent for doing the exact same thing. Jo explains how her mother would care for her when sick as a child.

3:45pm – Chrissie is in the kitchen talking about how she hasn’t spoken to Ben at all today. She mentions that it’s only four days until she might be nominated. Belinda tells her to stop thinking that way. Chrissie explains she wants to go because she doesn’t like Ben at all. Claire says she stays blind to Ben’s workings. Chrissie says she would talk about it further but she’d probably get told off by Ben later on.

5:41pm – The weekly task is being judged. The housemates have to move into the diary room one by one to answer four questions about the other housemates. Before going in they have a quick birthday check. Belinda knows everyone’s birthdays exactly. Leah is scared because she can’t remember any birthdays. She quickly realises she knows a few and goes into the diary room.

Leah’s questions:
How old is Jo’s Brother? – Leah says 21, the answer is 18
Which housemate owns this toy? Ben, Daniel or Vincent (on screen picture) – Leah has no idea, the answer is Vincent.

Regina’s questions:
What is the name of Daniel’s sister? Regina answers Jodie, this is correct. Who is the owner of this baby dummy? Carlo, Clair or Vincent? (on screen picture). Regina answers Carlo, the answer is Claire.

Saxon’s questions:
Which housemate used to wear this? Belinda, Leah or Chrissie? (on screen picture). Saxon guesses Leah, this is correct.

Ben’s questions:
What is the name of Leah’s dogs? Ben answers Max, Miller and Wendy. Leah tells the others outside that he got 2 right. What is Claire’s favourite food? Ben answers Avacado.

No other questions are shown.

8:13pm – Chrissie talks to Ben after a day of silence. She comments on Ben’s answers saying it was the most entertaining thing she’s seen on television in a long time. She says Ben looked fidgety, like he was being interrogated. Ben claims he was relaxed. Chrissie says that Ben was in ‘official business’ mode. Ben obviously doesn’t like being analysed like this (of course, that’s HIS job to do) and looks uncomfortable.

8:45pm – The housemates are in the kitchen for dinner when Big Brother announces they have passed the weekly task. Everyone is excited and they all hug each other.

Even though the task if over, Daniel decides to tell the others a very personal story about his family. Before he starts, he tells the others that usually he gets an overload of sympathy, and he doesn’t want this from the other housemates. Daniel tells the housemates that his Mother died of stomach cancer when he was around eight years old. Regina and Chrissie begin to look upset. Daniel continues saying his Dad become very secluded afterwards. When Daniel was about 20 his Father started dating a really nice woman, but soon after was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour.

Daniel said the hardest thing was watching some one die without being able to help them, except to fluff their pillow to make them feel more comfortable. He then jokes saying “god this is serious”, Ben laughs silently. Chrissie starts crying and apologises for the sympathy. Ben butts in telling Daniel it would be best if he finished the story. Daniel makes the point that on a Saturday his grandfather died, the same Saturday he was “rejected” from the Big Brother house, and on the Wednesday he was let in. Ben said it was better that he knew the story. Daniel gives him a strange look as if to say “what the hell is up with you”.

12:07am (first Big Brother typo for the season, they said PM). In the kitchen Chrissie mentions how sad Daniel’s story was to other housemates.

Bed Time. 1:37am – The housemates are all singing in the round bedroom with Patrick on the guitar. BB voiceover says a spirit of harmony has crept into the house after they all passed the weekly task. Everyone sings, except Ben, who lies in his bed, looking bored. Leah starts singing very loudly at one point and is clearly having a lot of fun.

Day 25 Uplate

Good evening all, and welcome to another night of Up Late.

We join the rounds bedroom where Daniel, Chrissie, Regina and Claire are. Claire looks ready for bed, Chrissie is in bed, but sitting up, Daniel is sitting on her bed, and Regina is still dressed, leaning against the wall.

Tell me they still aren’t talking about that bloody party 43 days away (it seems that long ago!) They make mention that Chrissie is the only female who is single, Daniel piping in with the comment “And I’m in bed with her!”

Meanwhile, what do you now, Saxon is in the spa. Ben is in there with him, and Jo is sitting close to the spa, engaging in conversation with the two boys. Patirck is also sitting there with Jo, with Jo leaning her arms on his neck. Saxon looks like he has had an injury during the day, as he has his hand strapped, and is keeping it out of the water. Vincent comes out to t join them, and Saxon greets him as “Vincent Van Gogh” The three not in the spa decide to call it a night, and go inside. Pat returns to talk to the boys, having just put a jacket on.

Back inside Belinda is plucking (I think thats the word!) Leah’s eyebrows. Leah has her eyes shut and looks as if she is just resting. No words are exchanged between the two, so BB moves back to the bedroom.

Jo has joined the four in the room, and gets into her PJ’s. Reggie is lying on a bed, laughing about some joke with Chrissie. Belinda must have finished with Leah, as she too enters the bedroom. Somehow they get onto talking about Ben, and start calling him Fat Bobby Chrissie then has fun saying Reggie’s favourite line when someone passes wind while in bed, or in close compounds. Jo jumps into Ben, and Reggie gets up and moves down further toward the three at that end of the room. Lights go out, and a collective “Oooooh” goes around the room.

At this moment, trivia ‘dude’ comes on and tells us about the latest task the group have, which involves people remembering things that others tell them about themselves. He reports that Joanne reveals that something of hers are real (you can work it out!), as well as telling Ben and Saxon that she had anorexia when she was 14 years old. Daniel revealed a close family member passed away only days before BB commenced, Ben discussed crimes while he was a copper, and that Saxon is sure to talk about something from his life soon!!

Back outside in the spa, Leah comes and joins the boys mainly to get her book, but stays and talks for a bit. They talk about how they would all be happy if Daniel was more himself instead of putting on acts all the time. They are sick of listening to “Korg”, his alter ego. Ben and Saxon are considering getting out of the spa, and having a shower, but they don’t want to because they’ll be no hot water.

Back in the bedroom, it seems like it’s a ‘Ben Bitch Session!’ Daniel is giving him a bit of shit, while Jo and Vincent are on beds next to each other and are talking. They all start talking about religon, Regina saying that she seems to be the only person who doesn’t believe in anything in the whole house. With that, it’s the first commercial break.

During the break, trivia dude tells us that Jo has told the room that they are creeping up on their 6 and a half year anniversary (herself and her partner, Tim).

When we return, they are talking for a minute, before BB wipes out the audio, and music comes on. Weird stuff…Trivia guy comes on and says they had to go to music because the conversation is talking about people on the outside, and they can get into trouble if they air them talking about some things. He asks BB if they are stil listening to the music, and then throws back to the music. It’s obviously isn’t live because they couldn’t do tis if it was. Dunno why they couldn’t cut to a different conversation though…Strange indeed.

Finally, they cut to the boys at the spa again. Pat is talking to the other two guys and Leah. BB quickyl leaves that convo, and goes back to the bedroom. Chrissie is unsure whether she wants to be buried as is, or burnt and left with ashes. She says it is strange to be talking about this, but one thing you must/should think about. Jo tells Reggie she should spread them at King Island in Victoria (anyone remember this joke!) Jo asks Reggie if she has won that bet yet, and replies that she will win that bet, before Daniel tells her she has won it, he knows where the island is situated. Another break cuts in.

Back again and the first trivia $1000 brain teaser is on again, and it must be time for a hint I suppose. Yes it is, get back to the action already! Back in the house, we rejoin the bedroom and the girls are talking about how costly it is to raise a child, and how much work it is. Jo says that they have to enrol them in school years before they start, and that it costs a bucketload of money. Jo says everyone should start saving well beforehand.

Regina has a headache, and thats putting her off going to sleep, while Chrissie unfortunately has to get up to go to the toilet, but can’t be bothered! Pat goes to toilet, and Jo asks whats going on, and he says ‘stuff.’ Jo says they are probably having a ‘wank.’ Regina says probably, judging by how dirty it is out there in the spa! Vincent wants to empty it, clean it properly, and fill it up again. Ad break cuts in.

Back and it seems the boys are out of the spa, with Saxon drying himself with a towel in the backyard. He goes in to an empty living room, but the brain teaser dude cuts in and gives Max $1000. Matt rather. Anyway, back in the house, Saxon is talking to Ben and Belinda in their bedroom, with Reggie also in her bed, moving back into the square bedroom. They are talking about the task, Reggie saying she will try her best, but she isn’t very good at things like that.

Swaping rooms, and Jo and Chrissie are both saying they are over the BB experience, they both have a weird feeling and they don’t like it, and they are ready to leave. They are dancing around saying that Ben has changed and they don’t like it from what I can tell. Chrissie says that she is sick of over analysing things that probably people on the outside haven’t even seen, or don’t even talk about, or worry about it. Saxon has joined the convo, and is saying that he is also feeling uncomfortable. Saxon says that he was expecting to feel like that, so he isn’t surprised. Jo says she thought it would be weird for a day or two when the houses merged, but she should be over the weird feeling by now. Saxon says that while BB had control over when putting people into the house in the first week (ie they knew Ben and Jo would get on), they didn’t have much control over what would happen when the houses merged. Saxon goes onto say he didn;t think he was on a BB reality show in the first few weeks, but he is starting too now. The girls (Jo and Chrissie) agree. Commercial break.

This trivia guy just doesn’t shutup tonight does he!? Oooh I know this one without even looking at the screen! LOL. Anyway, back to the action, and it’s back to Saxon with Leah, Chrissie and Jo, oooh and Pat. Saxon says he was ready to walk out after Sunday, but he was lucky the houses merged. Leah makes a good point, saying that she understand the feeling that Chrissie is describing, however, she says that perhaps your meant to feel like that while your having this experience.

Pat says that he goes a bit mad because they can hear you when your moving, talking, and he says soon they will know what I’m thinking. Saxon asks the group whether they would do it again though if they were evicted (ie if they had there time again, would they come in), and they all say yes, without hesitation. Chrissie and Jo go and get some water, which breaks up the conversation. While away, Pat says he is just enjoying his quiet time, because he knows he’ll be working for the next 30 years when he gets outside. Leah says that the girls are over analysing all of this, and thinks that they are half expecting ghosts to appear or something.

Out in the kitchen, Jo and Chrissie are continuing their talk. They are bashing someone, I just can’t work out who. They again say they are frightened. Hmm, I’ll try to work out who they were bitching about, while Ch10 goes to a break and Chrissie and Jo wander around the backyard. Trivia guy seems to think that Ben is the cause of Chrissie and Jo’s weird feeling.

Chrissie and Jo have once again returned to the bedroom. Ben comes over to tell them that Reggie mentioned a pussy whip club or something or other. A bit of a change in conversation for the girls at least!! Ben can’t believe that Reggie knows of one of these clubs. Jo says Pat is the perfect man once Ben leaves. Leah says she realised he wasn’t perfect when he admitted to taking drugs earlier in the evening (admitting to it, not taking them in the BB house.) Quick flip by BB back to the square bedroom, where they are still talking about the adult club!

Ben suddenly blurts out “If Chrissie wants a war, she can have one.” Belinda is totally confused by this, asking if they are having a disagreement, but Ben says no.

Leah comes in and says that Patrick just said they can see into the other bedroom from the round bedroom through the mirrors or something, and then all of a sudden BB turns something off, and Patrick says ‘not anymore.’ A bit of funny stuff in the wee hours of the morning. The guys ask if Leah is going to sleep in their room, but she doesn’t think so. Ben is getting angry, really angry LOL. He says the girls can’t take a little critism, and is letting out a few of the lovely words at them. Oh it’s funny! Poor Benny is out next week though, thats the bad thing. You can see it a mile away unfortunately. Leah, who is getting along much better this week with Ben, will go on Sunday, and the majority of the round house will probably give Ben the two points. Unfortunate, but likely….

We return as Regina is trying to say ‘pt calling the kettle black’ or whatever it is, but she just can’t say it properly. Funny stuff again! Ben, Saxon and Leah are all whispering to each other, and you can’t hear/understand. Leah is whsipering to Ben and Reggie telling them about the earlier conversation in the round bedroom, and how Chrissie and Jo aren’t liking it at the moment. They listen attentively.

Is it just me, or is tonight the start of the housemates seperating into two distinct groups, with a few of them in between not in either group. I’m thinking aloud, because I can’t understand the whispering. Could see Regina (from what I’m watching atm) siding with Ben on this occassion. I dunno though, early days of this ‘war’ as Ben called it! LOL

Ben is saying to Reggie that the last few days talking about B1 and B2 has given them ammo (Chrissie, Jo etc) to bitch about him and single out Ben as the bad boy of the house. He’s saying that he will probably be nominated next week, and it will be interesting to see how many votes he gets. Of course, he was immune from nominations this week.

Into the kitchen we go, where Leah, Belinda, Saxon and Vincent are cooking up a storm! They are only talking about the cooking of something or other, so they go back to the whispers of Ben and Reggie, which you can’t understand!!! Difficult to recap, because you can understand a few words, but can’t work out a full sentence hardly. Someone brings in a cup of coffee for them both, but they don’t stick around. The audio seeeming to break up doesn’t help either. The camera has been on this convo for the last 10 minutes at least. Probably one more ad break before we wrap up for the night I would think. Nope, just as I write that, Dreamworld wishes us goodnight.

Keep looking for Warren,
Dave

Day 25

11:47am – The housemates are focusing on this week’s task: learning interesting facts about each other. Regina is in the kitchen questioning Jo. Jo’s boyfriend is a hotel manager, plays aussie rules, they have been together for six and half years today. Regina wishes them happy anniversary, she’s all joy for Jo. A plane goes by and a bored Daniel and Belinda wave to it. Daniel then starts talking to the pool creepy crawly, which is skimming up the side of the pool. Daniel jokes that it’s coming up for air. The creepy crawly cleaner is making a “duk-a-duk” noise and Daniel starts dancing the macarena to it. Belinda is amused and confused at the same time, giving him a clap.

Regina and Jo have turned back to talking about Ben’s fight with Jo. Ben snaps so easily, says Jo, and won’t apologise for it. Regina agrees that it wasn’t nice of Ben to say such mean things. They both come to the conclusion that it’s a man thing keeping him from apologising. Jo wanted to sleep on it but there is no conclusion so far. Daniel joins them and Jo worries that Tim won’t want to be with her anymore, but Daniel assures her that it won’t happen… well if it does happen it happens but don’t worry about it because it’s self-toture.

1:35pm – Jo goes into the bedroom and Ben asks how she is. Jo is not refreshed from last night. Ben starts telling Jo that it will be alright – she will get another boyfriend. Jo explains she has probably upset Tim (her boyfriend) by some of her actions in the house. Saxon asks if Tim’s ever cheated – he hasn’t. Jo wouldn’t want to be with him if that was the case. There was one incident early in their relationship where Tim put his arm around a girl and Jo flipped out – putting him through about nine months of pain. At this point Jo was insecure about the relationship, she says. Saxon says if he hits six months it’s a record, but Jo says that’s fine he’s only 19 years old.

5:53pm – Vincent and Jo are in the bathroom, and Vincent gives her a hug and kiss. Jo is really sweaty, but Vincent says it’s fine – he didn’t smell a thing.

Later Regina and Ben are lying on beds in the round bedroom. They discuss what happened and come to a conclusion of resolution. Regina has been thinking about her marriage a little – Ben suggests its a bit of a flat spot in a 9 year marriage. Regina and Adrian have come to a disagreement about what they want to do in the future: Regina has had enough of working in the fish and chip shop and wants to sell it and go travelling. Adrian doesn’t want to do that, however. Regina doesn’t want to sign the lease again and be there for a total of 15 years. Adrian has resigned the lease but it’s out of her control because technically she’s an employee. This time however she’s putting herself first and doing everything she wants to this year.

8:10pm – The housemates can hear a party happening near the complex. They are excited by the music. Belinda and Daniel start dancing, doing crazy moves by the pool. Inside Leah says to Claire that Daniel has found his twin. The pair have gained an audience now – Claire thinks it’s good. Leah thinks she will leave the house now because the public won’t want to seperate Belinda and Daniel.

8:27pm – Vincent is taking the opportunity to ask Jo about her confrontation with Ben. She says yesterday was the worst she’s ever been. Vincent says its bad with people aggravate it … “no one in particular” (he looks at Ben). Vincent basically says everything Jo wants to hear and already knows.

9:39pm – Jo is now discussing the comfrontation with Regina. She is now aware of how people can be manipulative. Regina says if she was going to act like they suspect Ben is doing, she couldn’t last this long. Ben used to be Jo’s rock but now she is uncertain on his intentions.

10:29pm – Jo is now asking Saxon about apparently gossiping about her with Leah. Jo thinks that Leah doesn’t like her, but Saxon clarifies: Leah is intimidated but doesn’t not like her. He predicts Leah sees Jo as more attractive and therein lines the intimidation. Ben comes over and makes a joke that Saxon keeps obsessing about Jo. Jo tempts Ben with a secret from her younger years: when she was 14 she had anorexia… resulting in heart problems and hospital stays. She went down to 35kg. She is now around 50kg.

Ben: “The truth will always bubble”.

12:42am – Chrissie was told today by Ben that she’s the ultimate player… she has manipulated everyone in the house. Chrissie found it a big laugh, as does Regina who is now hearing about it. Ben is just in the bed over and says “if you want to go to war, we’ll go to war”. Belinda is concerned that no one is getting along. Ben starts tempting Belinda, saying she’s causing friction. She doesn’t take it too seriously. Regina calls Ben an asshole.

Later in the bedroom a group of original round housemates discuss the larger house. Jo prefers the smaller house – it was more homely. Chrissie doesn’t like whats going on with the personalities in the larger house. Leah understands but likes both types of houses. Chrissie is over Big Brother now: she is ready to go because she’s scared of the mean overtones coming through with some of the housemates.

Later Leah relays the conversation she was just a part of to Ben and Saxon, who both get annoyed. Saxon says that group are acting like it’s their house and they should get over it. Ben thinks the whole conversation started because of comments he made: there is no dispute from the others. Ben has had enough now: he swears at Leah and tells her to grow up and accept it.

Chrissie and Regina are now whispering: Chrissie wants to know why Ben is now yelling “grow up” to everyone. She says he is overacting to everything in the house… “it’s awful”.

Chrissie: “I’m scared. I’m really frightened of him. I’m not going to talk to him at all from now on.”

1:32am – Jo, Belinda and Saxon are having a midnight snack in the kitchen. Belinda comments that she can’t see the bad in anyone in the house… except for Carlo. Saxon feels he must defend Carlo and says that he himself has said nasty things about Belinda in the past. He adds that there were times where he felt Belinda was chopping and changing her personalty around. Belinda explains that she’s now comfortable in the current house and couldn’t have come out in the original house – Saxon couldn’t see this because he didn’t enter the house at the same time she did. It was freaking Belinda out that Saxon was acting like Carlo – but Saxon insists he was just scared of Belinda’s changing personalities and wanted to stay away from that.

Vincent is now there and acts as mediator.. he says that today is basically day 3. Belinda agrees and says her experience has started from the house merger.

In the square bedroom Regina and Ben are swapping notes on the other housemates. Ben gives a rundown of his thoughts:

Chrissie – dangerous, a definite player
Dan – a lost soul who’s run out of material, he’s struggling
Leah – the same
Regina and Ben – pretty much similar.
Vincent – chasing Joanne
Belinda – a loose cannon

Regina wonders what people are thinking of her – but Ben assures her she’s fine.

Back in the kitchen:

Vincent: “Things are going to get a whole lot more interesting now. We’ve got over our honeymoon period. Now the walls are starting to close in again”

Day 24

The Big Brother narrator tells us that the housemates have heavy heads after Monday night’s entire house party.

1:31pm – Regina, Leah and Jo are talking about the happenings the night before. They all think the situation got out of hand. Leah thinks that Brennon (her boyfriend) is going to kill her. Regina is worried that things happened that shouldn’t have, but she can’t remember entirely what happened. Jo isn’t really worried because she knows they will have time to set the record straight with their partners. She says that if Tim (her boyfriend) takes it the wrong way then he’s not worth it.

Later Ben and Leah are by the pool. Ben is gossiping about Jo and how she’s been tempting all the boys in the house. Leah says that Saxon has been following Jo all over the house. She also states that she couldn’t ‘play the game’ if she tried. Ben thinks that Jo is being a temptress and trying to manipulate the guys in the house, and that Jo’s boyfriend won’t be waiting for her when she leaves the house. Leah says that Jo was acting the worst last night, and after watching Jo fold up a towel with Patrick, she elaborates that Jo was definately the worst.

Leah is glad she doesn’t have big tits like Jo. The two of them agree that she’s using her tits to her advantage. Leah reveals that Saxon told her that he’s “mesmorised by her tits” (Jo’s that is). Leah believes they are probably fake, because they don’t move when she skips.

2:59pm – Ben is explaining to the round house girls about his double personality demonstrated in the last few days. He says that their boyfriends would do the exact same thing when out with their mates, using Jo’s boyfriend Tim as an example. Jo defends those claims saying Tim would never do anything like that. Ben says that she is wrong and starts whistling causally and walks away. Jo gets really upset and starts crying. Chrissie says it’s wrong to assume every guy is like Ben.

Leah tells Ben in the kitchen that he made Jo cry. She explains that Jo was already worried about Tim and Ben added to her confusion. Ben says that he has nothing to do with what Jo was pre-occupied with. Then he says “ahh who cares”. Then he watches Patrick comfront Jo, saying “ah get in there Pat… get in there perfect”.

They are still talking about the party in the house. Vincent is worried about the kiss he gave Jo in the spa. He apologizes to her after seeing her upset, but Jo reassures him that it had nothing to do with that kiss. Vincent does know what it’s all about.

In the lounge room Regina tells Leah and Ben that Vincent and Jo are talking in the kitchen. Ben starts gossiping yet again saying that Vincent is in love with Jo.

In the kitchen Vince tells Jo how he’s feeling close to everyone in the house after just 24 hours with them. He shows Jo why he always wears a bracelet around his wrist. It’s to cover a scar from an accident which happened to him. They talk about life outside the house, and Vincent says the prizes at the end don’t matter.

In the lounge room Ben says it’s like Beverly Hills 90210, the way Jo and Vincent are talking. Leah joins him to spy on Jo and Vincent. Regina doesn’t.

The BB voiceover explains that for a task the housemates have to memorise strange facts about each other. Vincent says that he’s always wanted to be an extra in a Star Wars movie. Jo says she knows some one in the production of the 6th movie and tells him she could talk to some one.

10:11pm – They are STILL talking about that party. Regina and Chrissie are wondering about the scandalous events that happened in the spa, but they can’t remember what happened. Regina says that she walked into the loungeroom at one point, Jo and Vincent were on the couch together and quickly jumped up when she walked in. Chrissie is surprised that it was Vincent. She then says that Vincent is very good looking in her eyes and that the guys must get jealous of him.

In the kitchen Leah is telling Claire that she can’t see anyone who’s geniune in the house. Claire say she doesn’t really care about that and doesn’t try to pay attention to it. Claire asks Leah what she sees in a particular housemate who is ‘playing the game’. Leah says that this particular housemate is using sex appeal to her advantage. She then talks about Saxon and Patrick being very attached to this housemate.

Later Jo and Vincent are still talking in the backyard. Leah and Claire gossip about them.

12:56am – Jo is staying awake because she can’t stop thinking about Tim and what happened during the party. Ben is wondering about the footage the producers have to show. Jo is worried that she is portrayed as a tart, or they show too much of her swearing. She is worried that Tim will see the footage, go out and do something stupid. Ben and Regina tell her that that is extremely unlikely. Ben tells her that it was just innocent interaction.
