Day 45

8:51am – Regina is up and in the kitchen with Kim. She is happy that Jaime is also up early and says they can all make bread together. Jaime wonders why Kim of all people is up this early in the morning. Reg directs the others on what they need to do for the bread. Later, Kim questions Regina about nominations – this is the first time Regina has been nominated, she thinks everyone is expecting her to crack up because of it, which is frustrating. Earlier Daniel said “don’t pretend that nothings wrong” to her. Reg explains that she only had tears in her eyes becuase she misses her dogs – she doesn’t care about nominations at all.

In the bedroom Chrissie and Daniel are pulling sexy (yet disgusting) faces at each other for amusement. Back in the kitchen Jaime says that Kim and Regina, despite all the roughness and racism, are probably two of the nicest people he knows. Kim explains she won’t let anyone mistreat or upset her, even if they have more money or think they’re better. Chrissie and Daniel agree that Kim has some interesting stories. Dan finds it refreshing hearing these stories from a country person perspective – instead of a city person criticising country people.

9:43am – Kim finds Jaime’s comment earlier amusing and tells Patrick about it while she sweeps up outside. She explains she is not racist and doesn’t mean to come off that way – she won’t tell the jokes anymore because she’s scared she’ll go back to her town and execute her. Patrick suggests she tells Irish jokes from now on.

Chrissie asks Jaime how Reggie is today – she’s fine.. and don’t go on about it. Chrissie feels like Reg is mad at her, but Jaime doesn’t think so – she’s just sick of people asking her if she’s ok.

1:00pm – Some housemates are playing Marco Polo in the pool. Kim and Regina preffer to stay in the bedroom. Regina guarantees that if she survives the upcoming eviction she will be nominated every week from then on. They both agree the rest of the housemates want nothing to do with them – like there is an exculsuion because Regina and Kim are good friends and quite similar. Kim is frustrated that it takes the others so long to register her concerns, and the worst part is that they’re 26 and 29, not 16 and 17. Regina agrees entirely. Vincent doesn’t answer Kim and Saxon snaps at her. Kim will be fixing that.

Regina comes to the diary room and asks if she can talk to the house psychologist. BB asks if she has a problem – Regina says yes, with the house and the housemates, she wants to clear her head. This has happened since Ben left and the new housemates entered. Regina starts crying. She’s noticed the others don’t take the intruders in as housemates very well and there is division. BB asks if she feels like an outsider – Regina does – she feels like the others don’t want her in the house any more.

Regina goes back and talks to Kim about what happened with “Mr. Beebs”. Kim says the paranoia is worse than anything: you don’t want to upset anyone. She feels she is too loud for everybody, especially Vincent who sees her as lower class. Saxon has also been ignoring her, snapping back and treating her badly.

5:50pm – Regina has gone to the diary room to speak with Carmel, the house psychologist. In the kitchen Jaime queries Joanne on her eye, which is coming along fine. Patrick has noticed Jo has been a little quiet this week and wonders whats up. Jo insists she hasn’t been worrying about evictions or anything. Patrick worries Jo isn’t happy – but Jo says she isn’t flat at all.

After an hour with Carmel Regina goes to the diary room and lies down to think about things. Kim is explaining to Patrick and Joanne how her and Jaime sat aside and felt the tension. They were also scared because the other housemates were different after nominations were announced. Patrick apologises, but Kim says it’s not their fault, and will happen to them too sooner or later.

8:36pm – Kim is in the bedroom singing. Chrissie is at the other end reading.

Kim: I’m a bit rude and crude aren’t I Chrissie?

Chrissie: Umm…

Kim: Yes..

Chrissie: Urrm…

Kim: Not that many people can handle it.

Chrissie: I don’t know about rude and crude. Your stories are different… like I haven’t heard any stories like that before.

Kim: They’re all true

Chrissie: Oh yeah I’m not saying they’re not.

Regina enteres and exclaims that she feels so much better after talking with Carmel. Chrissie comments she felt that Regina was different the last few days. Reg says she was thinking too many stupid things… to the extent she believed things were there when they weren’t. Saxon joins them and is told that Regina isn’t where she was last week. He adds that its to do with getting used to things. Regina’s rebuttle is that the housemates have to get used to the new intruders. Both Chrissie and Saxon believe they have.

Dan and Kim are in the pool. Dan explains he is interested in people and what makes them tick. Kim says there are things that worry her but she doesn’t care what others think of her. Kim and her brother live together and did their own thing despite what other parents thought of them. Kim calls out to Vincent, who doesn’t come.

In the bedroom Regina explains that Kim feels like no one likes her. Chrissie says no matter how much they say they do like her it won’t change Kim’s perception. Regina, Chrissie and Jo all agree they could not have come in this late in the game.

11:09pm – The girls are giving Patrick birthday massages and pedicures in the bedroom. It’s his 30th birthday tomorrow. Meanwhile in the kitchen Saxon asks Patrick if he has regretted doing anything in the house – Yes – he had a few moments of weakness where he let things slip. Things about himself. Saxon doesn’t think he has revealed everything. Vincent explains he is a very private person. Saxon has a few regrets too. Vincent says “I know”, but doesn’t pry any further. Saxon wants to talk – it hasn’t been anything he talked about but getting to close to people. Vincent is walking out the door with water but says “lovers come and go, but friends are forever”. Saxon agrees: his motto is “mates before dates”.

Day 44 Uplate

Evening all, and welcome to another week of Up Late. Of course, earlier in the evening, Jo, Regina and Daniel were nominated for eviction. Jo has been up and down throughout the night, smiling at times, other times in tears. Dan, the season performer, has been his usual self, giving others a few laughs. Reggie, who keeps saying that it doesn’t affect her, has been pretty upset.

Anyway, we join the house in the kitchen, where Dan, Saxon, Patrick, Vincent and Jo are. Mike introduces himself, saying they have already given away $40,000. Jo has been saying that her boyfriend won’t be speaking to her when she leaves all night according to Mike. Anyway, back to the house, Saxon says that he’ll have missed half of the footy season, he didn’t expect to be in there for that long. He says he’ll probably be put on the bench when he gets out, referring still to footy. Jo says she didn’t take her mediciation, because she wants to stay up all night, stay up all week, cause if she went to sleep, she would miss out. She says softly she doesn’t want to go. Pat is reading out how to make bread in a weird accent, to Daniel. Quite funny. Oooh, it’s actually the new pasta maker they received tonight.

Jo remembers about when Pat was playing a song, and Jo was sitting on Ben, and they were loving the song. Pat says it was completely made up. He says he was pleased with what he said to Gretel on the nomination show, because he knew Claire would have been there. Vincent didn’t realise that Saxon threw in a hello to Claire, but he is adament he did. They start debating how to cook Soft Boiled Eggs, because Vincent stuffed it up today when he was trying to cook them for lunch. They again say that some of them never got to meet Irena and Carlo. Daniel is in another persona again tonight, I haven’t heard him talk normally yet. Pat is going to lie on the bed and see what happens, so he wishes the kitchen crew goodnight. Jo meanwhile says she has to start thinking about leaving, and Saxon says that she doesn’t. Saxon says if he hears Jo talking like that, he’ll throw her in the pool. The remaining housemates start softly singing “Did It Ever Make You Wonder…” Sax starts talking about a guy that used to babysit him, and the havoc they used to get up to in the backyard. Saxon says he doesn’t want to leave the place because the house is such a positive place, and outside it gets negative. Jo says that she misses “The Simpsons!” She says that she has Sex & The City and Friends taped by a friend while she is in here. Daniel says he wants this show taped so he can see what it was like. Vincent says that the helicopters must think they are snobs – BB instructed them last week not to wave. Saxon says he almost hides when he sees one overhead nowadays.

Mike comes back on, saying Saxon cried earlier because he didn’t think Jo was dealing with it correctly, and also Reggie cried cause she realised she might see her dogs soon. Back to the house, and the kitchen, they are looking at the mirrors checking for pimples or something. According to OzUpdates, Kim is chatting to Jamie and Chrissie in the bedroom, talking about how she met her boyfriend. Dan is giving Jo a massage, and is saying that she carries her law books unevenly, and that once she gets out, she must carry them evenly. Saxon sits back down at the table, and they go back to the Simpsons topic, talking about an April Fools Episode.

Finally into the house, Reggie and Jamie are saying they are going to exercise all day. It’s going to be a better day. They say goodnight to each other. Vincent comes into the room, and Jamie jumps on his bed, and Vincent has to run away to get off it! Reggie has ear plugs, so Vincent doesn’t have to stick the stuff up his nose tonight. He seems happy, and he’s back on the bed with Jamie. Jamie says that he has learnt to sleep through anything – a rat in the wall helping him do that. Reggie says that she had something they could hear in the walls at the shop, and it annoyed the hell out of her. Reggie says to Chrissie, who has come over, that the whole day has totally sucked. She says she was thinking the whole day. Chrissie says that when she was nominated, she instantly thought “Yes”, that she wouldn’t have to nominate anymore. Reggie says the first thing she thought when she heard her name was the TV zooming in on her, and giving her phone number to evict! FINALLY, a comm break.

Back to Mike, who runs through the first brain teaser for the night. Just realised that Jo’s odds for eviction are only $1.05, meaning she is definately the favourite to be evicted. Mike gives a plug to the BB official website, before we get back to the house, and the kitchen, where Saxon and Jo are alone. Saxon says it’s going to be a hard week for her. Saxon asks her if she has ever done a saoince (spelling majorly bad!). Jo says she never wants to. Saxon says the hardest thing he had to get his head around was that, come the Sunday, he would never have the chance to have this experience ever again. He says thats why he wants to be in here for as long as possible. He says that he tends to hang around certain people more of the time, and if those people weren’t here, he wouldn’t have had that much fun. He mentions Jo, Chrissie and Vincent. He says that he is glad Chrissie isn’t nominated, cause if worse comes to worse, he still has her. He says that BB doesn’t want to hurt us. He says I’ve never met anyone that is a mixture of beautiful and talented at the same time. He says that she is not up herself, but she perhaps needs to have a bit more confidence in herself. He says that Chrissie is worried that that night she flared up at Ben will be bad for her, but he also says that Chrissie has been Chrissie every other day, so there is nothing to worry about. Comm break. I reckon Jo said 10 words in that conversation, compared to Saxon’s thousand, easily!!

Back again, and Mike gives us a hint for the brain teasers. LOL. He tells us that if you do something bad on BB, he won’t show it over and over, because it’s illegial. And this one “Just shut up Jo. Just realise your special” Ahh, back to the house, and to Jo and Sax. He’s saying that to make it to the BB house is a huge accomplishment for them both. He tells Jo not to worry about what other people think, just be normal Jo. Jo says she has been herself for 7 weeks though. Sax says that is great, because for the last six weeks not many people have walked into the diary room and said that Jo annoys them. Sax says he is thrilled just to be not nominated this week. Sax says that if the inside people don’t want her to go, the outside couldn’t possibly want her out. Oh geez, you have no idea young boy. Saxon wonders if they get stuff (ie Alcohol) for Pat’s B’day, if they will still get some on Friday. Jo says they won’t get 2 lots. Sax says thats had Kim and Jamie been up this week, they would have been nominated, cause the bonds around the existing housemates are just too strong. Jo says she had a good chat with Reg, that she hasn’t done that for a while. Comm break.

Angela wins the first $1000 for the night, with the correct word camera. He sets up the second game, before we again head back to the house, but this time the bedroom! Reggie lets a nice smell out, tries to blame it on Kim. Jo joins them, revealing that she is getting all nostalgic. Pat asked her what time it was, and Jo said that he asked him that in the first week. She seems to be having a little cry. Reggie is letting them off a fair bit I think, Kim thinking she might have done something in her pants. Jo goes to do something in the bathroom, while Reggie says she can’t wait till Wednesday. Kim asks if BB will let them do something, but I can’t hear it. Vincent says they will have to wait and see! Kim and Reggie continue to whisper, being too hard to hear them. Jo has returned to the kitchen, talking to herself about her eye problem. She gets her eye drops out of the kitchen. Back to the girls in the square bedroom, but comm break comes in quickly.

“Trivia dude” gives us the clue for the second brain tease, and then goes on to talk about the OS Forums. Back to Reggie and Kim though now, Reggie decides to go to the toilet, Kim saying she has to go 2-3 times a night. Reggie tells a story about how she crashed into the walls back when the houses were not one, trying to go to the toilet.

Back outside, at the diary room door, Sax and Jo are talking. Saxon is asking how difficult it is to get her articles/clerkship. Jo says it is. Sax again says that he doesn’t want her to go, and says that he doesn’t think she will go. They argue about how many weeks BB is run for, at last deciding that it’s a bit more than 12 weeks. She gets on her bed, says “bring it on”, wakingup ‘patrice’ in the process, so she apologises to him, and then it’s time for another comm break.

Back with Mike, who goes through the puzzle again, but because it’s not quite time to go home for him yet, so he gives the hint again. He goes through the popularity polls for a bit – Kim coming last. Chrissie has come down to 10%. Regina amazingly has gone up, to 50%. I would’ve thought she would be going down if anything this week.

Anyway, back inside, the square bedroom, Saxon is getting ready for bed, while Reggie, Kim and Vincent have a little talk down their end of the room. Saxon looks as if he has hurt his foot, and Vincent has come to the rescue again, wrapping a bandage around it. Sax says he is sick of hurting himself, to which Vincent says you have to be careful. Someone gets up to have a look from the round bedroom, but can’t tell who it is because no face is seen. Only know it’s a guy, cause he was in boxers. He pulled the door out at the foot of his bed, and caught his toe in the process from what I can gather. Chrissie comes over asking if he gets sick of hurting himself! Chrissie, after going to the toilet, comes out and says that it doesn’t feel like bedtime. She goes and sits on Reggie’s bed, and joins Kim and Reggie’s conversation. Comm break.

Nicole from Queensland, who has met Mike already, wins the $1000. IT’S ALL RIGGED I TELL YOU!!!! Get me on there Mike, and all will be forgiven. It’s her birthday on Friday, so Mike gives her tickets to the eviction on Sunday. He’s in a generous mood tonight! Mike says goodnight, and we go back to the house.

Saxon is talking to Chrissie about waxing or something, can’t quite figure it out. He says that Carlo did something when he was there. Chrissie reveals that she doesn’t know if she’s coping. Saxon inappropriately says “Go press the button.” He almost immediatel says sorry, that he was being a dick. She feels sometimes she would like to go into the diary room and ask if shes doing ok. They say they believe what Carmel tells them. Saxon says he thinks everyone is doing very well. He says it’s amazing that everyone supports everyone. He refers back to the night that Chrissie got into the argument with Ben – he says that she did very well, and it shows that everyone looks after everyone, because she stood up for others. They say they love Patrick, Kim saying that she does too because he is so calm. Comm break.

Back with the square bedroom, Chrissie looking as if she has returned to her bed, and everyone else has got into their own beds. Vincent is just lying on top of his doona. Silence in the BB house. Even with the infa red camera’s or whatever they are, the camera’s that let us see in the dark, it always looks as if someone has a lamp on over their bed. Ah bingo, Reggie has one. We see it when Vincent goes to the bathroom. He gets back on his bed, and uses the light to relax, and commence reading a book. Over in the round bedroom, Jo and Patrick are asleep. Back in the square bedroom, Reggie and Vincent share a laugh. Vincent takes his mic off from around his neck. Silence for another few minutes, as Reggie falls asleep, before Dreamworld says goodnight.

Keep Looking for Warren,
Dave

Day 44

7:41am – Regina is up early and goes into the kitchen. Jo is already up making bread. Regina complains about the cold. Apparently Jo has been up for the last three hours because her eyes are stuffed up. Regina says she’s not feeling well either. Jo is waiting for the doctor to come and look at her eyes.

8:48am – Patrick comes into the kitchen and Jo fills him in on the situation. Regina goes to have a shower and Saxon joins her. The two are in their bathers/bikini. Last night Regina said to Saxon she had a problem in the house, and now he wants to hear it. Regina doesn’t want to say… but does tell Saxon some one is getting annoyed about her being around him.

10:07am – In the bedroom Pat tells Saxon about Jo’s eyes. Saxon literally runs to the Kitchen to see if Jo is ok. Jo tells him “oh thankyou you’re so cute”. Outside Chrissie notices that Regina didn’t make today’s bread. Regina says she’s worried people will think she’s hogging all the cooking, but Chrissie says that’s nonsense.

Later Saxon tells Regina that he is the problem with her and the ‘other housemate’. Regina thinks she has to stop mucking around with him, but Saxon thinks if other people are perceiving their mucking around in another way, that’s their problem. Regina says she just wants to be on her own.

11:45am – Regina is sunbathing with Kim on the deck. They are talking about Regina’s situation. They agree that making people upset with her mucking around is stupid. Regina says she hasn’t this sort of jealousy problem since high school.

2:45pm – Jo checks with Big Brother about her nomination reasons. Big Brother asks Jo about her eye, Jo says it’s fine now that she had some anesthetic put on it. Jo says the particular housemate she’s thinking of nominating (Regina) doesn’t want to be friends with her, even though Jo wants to be friends with Regina. Regina goes into the diary room straight after Jo comes out and asks Big Brother about her nomination of Jo.

8:29pm – Nominations are announced. Saxon and Chrissie look shocked. Daniel says he has fierce competition for this round of nominations. In the bedroom Jo hugs Patrick while Kim tells Regina that she’s not finding nominations very fun. Chrissie hugs Jo in the bedroom while Jamie goes into the kitchen. In the kitchen Regina is explaining she expected to be nominated, especially after seven weeks in the house.

Jo is telling the others that she’s fine with being nominated, and that she’s going this week. Saxon tells Jo to cut the bullshit. He says she’s making all the other housemates sad by yelling out that she’s going. He tells her to not say “I’m going” again. Reggie says she’s going. In the kitchen Jamie reassures Reg that she’s not going. Kim jokes that Regina is acting paranoid like a raving lunatic.

8:48pm – Saxon is angry about the way Jo is handling her nomination. He tells her “why can’t you realise you’re so special”. Saxon starts getting upset saying “I’m just like a kid”.

9:06pm – Jamie and Kim are talking about the tensions of nominations. Kim says the others are getting way too serious about it when they will see each other again in six weeks. They suggest that greed of the prize money is taking over friendships. Kim says that the first time she’s nominated she won’t be storming around.

In the bedroom Daniel tells the other housemates he’s good about being nominated. He even says he’s the running champion of nominations. Saxon says he wants to be the champion.

12:01am – Jamie wishes Regina goodnight, and they talk about how the lows make you appreciate the highs in the house. Jamie explains that it’s a win-win situation because if she’s evicted she will have a ball with Adrian and if she stays she’ll have even more of a ball in the house.

Saxon and Jo are in the kitchen. Saxon is blubbering on about how great Jo is. He says she needs more faith in how people think of her. Regina is telling Jamie how much the day has sucked. She says she’s been thinking about stuff too much today. Saxon and Jo walk to bed. Jo calls him “Saxamaphone” (from the Simpsons).

Day 43

We join eviction day with Reggie in the kitchen trying to make biscuits. Jo comes over and scares living daylights out of Reggie, who incidentally, was talking to herself. Jo thought she must have known she was coming cause Reggie was talking aloud. Interesting start to the day none the less!

Vincent tells Claire, who are both enjoying the morning sun, that “I don’t want you to go.” Claire says she is happy to go and happy to stay, although she would rather stay. Vincent says he doesn’t want anyone to go. He tells Claire that he is just starting to know Dan, not his characters, and that he is a top guy. Jamie and Reggie join the two, and Jamie says that he loves the diamonds on Reggie’s butt!

Back in the kitchen, Sax is talking to Joanne. He says more than anything he doesn’t want to go. Saxon says that if he was starting to feel very strongly for someone, it wouldn’t be right, but that the other person seems to have some feelings toward him as well. He says that because that person had feelings in return, it made it easier for him to like this other person even more. He’s talking in a third person kind of voice, but if you listen you can gather he is talking about Saxon’s and Jo’s relationship. He asks Jo her opinion, and she hesitates for a while, then says “I don’t think it’s fair for me to talk about this in this house.” Sax immediately replies back “Who said it was you!?” She says she wasn’t meaning it was her, and then goes onto say that she has an idea of who it is, to which Saxon asks “You do know who I’m talking about don’t you?” Jo says “Well it’s obvious…” looking outside towards Reggie. Saxon asks if she is ‘seriously looking out there?’ Jo seems taken aback, and asks “Well, who is it then…” She says “there isn’t anyone else around, so who is it”. Saxon walks away, saying ‘shattered, I am.’ Jo, finally waking up, says that ‘if you leave, we’ll definitely have a chat when I get out…next week’

We rejoin the housemates on the patio, discussing whether there is any cereal left in the house. They each go through saying how many bowls each person has had this week, no one having more than two. Saxon is shattered when he realises there is none left.

Pat and Jamie are in the storeroom, and Jamie finds some food that Pat and Regina have been hiding away. When Jamie asks what it’s doing there, Pat just says “Ask Reggie…and don’t tell anyone.”

Back to the days of our lives part of the show, ie Jo and Sax, who are talking in the garden. Saxon asks Jo “outside of here, would it be healthy to hold onto those feelings?” Jo says she wants to say so much to Saxon, and if the camera’s turned off for five minutes she would, but until they both are out of the compound, they can’t discuss it. Before Jo gets up see says “Your very special Sax.”

In the kitchen, Pat tells Reggie that Jamie found the special stash. He calls Jamie Julian though first! He tells her that he moved the goods into her bedroom.

“It’s time to go Claire”, Reggie is upset, and after saying goodbye, Saxon goes straight to his bedroom. Jo follows after him and Sax says that there is no positives to this night; you stay and you hate it. They have a cuddle. Sax says that he’ll have to go through all of it again this week. Vincent comes in, and starts to backtrack when he sees Sax with Jo, but Jo calls him over. Jo and Vincent hug, Jo saying that it “sucks so much. It’s only going to get worse..” Jo says that they always seem sad because they think she is dead kind of thing. Vincent says that reality tells us that we’ll see her in six weeks max.

Moving into the round bedroom, Chrissie is there by herself, having a cry. Jo starts crying next door, and says “Sorry, I’m a sooky la la!” Over in the kitchen, Kim says it’s weird, cause it’s her first one. Back in the bedroom, Vincent and Saxon share a huge hug.

In the square living area, Jo and Jamie are talking about the eviction. Jo says that Kim and Jamie came in under the worse circumstances, and that now they have to go through seeing them all upset, and while you too are upset (Kim and Jamie), they don’t fully understand it all. Jo tells Jamie that it’s all mind games in here, forget about the fact they have no food for the week, it’s all mind games. Jamie suggests that people don’t realise how ‘full on’ it is in here. Jo says that she thinks that everyone is real in the house.

In the round bedroom, Kim suggest that everyone gets up in the morning and has a swim and play a few tunes. Saxon, sounding as if he is still in the other bedroom, yells out “You trying to tell us what to do now Kim?” While it might sound harsh, he is saying it in a nice voice. Saxon says “Why don’t you be a producer, and like…write the script!” Kim says that she can tell a few of her racist jokes. Saxon says that he ‘loves the racist jokes so much, that he could kick you out the door’, referring to Kim. Kim says she hasn’t heard anyone laugh at her jokes. Saxon says cause there not funny. Dan says that they can choose either to laugh, or make Kim feel bad, and they chose to make Kim feel bad. Patrick and Chrissie say at the same time that the jokes aren’t funny. Chrissie suggest they drop the subject, but Kim keeps talking about it. Chrissie says “You were talking about rape: It’s not funny” After this, Kim cracks up…Strange girl. Chrissie then goes through the “Kimmy, look at me” routine.

Over in the kitchen, Jo and Saxon are talking again by themselves. Jo reveals that she is ‘so happy your still here.’ She goes onto say that he makes her so happy, and they have a big hug. During the hug, Saxon says that when Gretel crossed, all he was thinking about was that night the two of them stayed up all night. Jo has a smile on her face. Sax says that he wouldn’t enjoy the house as much if it was ‘Jo-free’

Back in the round bedroom, Kim is wondering how the new housemates will be used during the nomination process. Chrissie says that she should go and ask BB what the plan is, and so she does. BB tells her that they won’t have to nominate, and they can’t be nominated for, in the nomination process tomorrow. They get another week. Kim is excited. She tells them back in the bedroom, and Chrissie’s look to Reggie is to die for! She just keeps shaking her head.

While Chrissie and Jo know, they don’t think Saxon knows, and Chrissie suggests that if they tell him in front of a group of people, he won’t be so upset. The boys are playing Cricket, and Chrissie casually mentions “So we all know that they can’t be nominated, and they won’t be nominated?” Saxon yells out “What?” He points to Jamie and says to Chrissie “There immune?” He says that thats bullshit, because he was in the house only three days before he had to nominate. He goes onto say that it probably looked like he was rude to Jamie, he didn’t mean it personally, but he doesn’t like the system. Pat suggest that Saxon goes and clarifies with Big Brother. He doesn’t, continuing with his Cricket game. Jamie says bluntly that ‘we (meaning Kim and him) would be up tomorrow if you could pick us.’ Chrissie doesn’t agree, saying that they have to come up with a good reason, and can’t nominate someone just because their new.

In the square bedroom, Reggie and Kim are talking. Kim says that if anyone else walked through that door, she would help them heaps. She says Reggie really helped her. Reggie says its because no one else relates to her. Kim says “we didn’t go to the private school, we didn’t have the mansion to live in.” Reggie says “Imagine if I wasn’t here!” Kim says that she wasn’t here, she would have clung to Jamie a lot more than what she has done. Reggie reveals that she feels she will be nominated this week.

Day 41 Uplate

Saxon is comforting Regina, while Chrissie is talking to them also. Earlier, Regina said that “You always leave in the middle of conversations….” directed at Saxon. They have in the meantime, kissed and made up however.

Also, Claire had a moth go down her pants, immediately dacked herself, and Jo dived into her panties to retrieve the moth out. Claire was said saying afterwards “I have to think of more ways to get Jo inside my pants!” Mike told us a few other things, but I’ll get them the next time he says it. Oh, one other thing, they are mad at BB because he won’t give them Pasta for the week. The HM’s believe that Pasta should be put on the necessities list, and given to the housemates regardless of whether they pass or fail the weekly task.

Back to the square bedroom, Reggie, Chrissie and Saxon are talking, Regina still a bit upset. Chrissie says every Sunday from now on will be the start of a prick of a week. Regina says she feels better now. Sax says he can;t wait to get out and see Carlo. Chrissie says she can’t wait to meet Carlo! Jamie comes over and shows off his new type of ventolin puffer, which Reggie hasn’t seen before. It’s wham smacky new or something, and way different from the normal everyday puffer.

Sax says he had a couple of asthma mini attacks while the houses were seperated, because the air had nowhere to go, but since the house is one, it’s much more open, and he sleeps fine. Jamie says that he used a bit of Saxon’s cream, Sax seems cool about it. Sax is pulling his hands through Reggie’s hands, and Reggie says that if Adrian saw this, he would be boiling. Sax says he’s only 19, Adrian has nothing to worry about it! Chrissie reminds them that they’ve been together for 6 weeks, that they are a kind of family now, and you take any affection you can get while in here.

Sax says that he was reading a book to Jo earlier, and had to walk away because he was beginning to cry. We cross to the round bedroom, and Pat and Jo. Jo says that all her friends will still be her friends when she goes back out to the big wide world. Jo is tired out, but Pat is not tired at all. Jo says if she tries to read, she’ll be out like a light. Pat is looking at Jo’s boy, Tim, in a photo of the two of them. They say that they will probably be starving for the next week, seeing they failed the task. They continue talking about food for a while, making themselves hungry. Jo looks up and asks where Claire has gone. Jo says that they had nothing to do tonight – no party or anything. She seems dissapointed. They lie together in silence for a bit, and the cams change to the other bedroom where Sax, Reg, Claire and Chrissie. Sax says that it’s a once in a lifetime experience – having people at your fingertips within a minute who can make you feel good. Chrissie makes the point that she hasn’t had a new friend in the last few years, so she is rapt. Sax says that her mum hasn’t had a holiday in 10 years. He says he’ll take her on one once he gets out of the house. Chrissie says that this is her ‘holiday of a lifetime!’ Claire says she wants a Milo, but can’t be bothered walking all the way to the kitchen. Kim is also in the room, I just didn’t notice. They discuss that when Claire got the strike, she was tough. Once BB handed down his decision, Claire was asked what she thought. She decided against sayng anything, because BB was not going to change his mind, and that anything she said would only be used against her. They say that Claire got two in the one day, and Sax says that Bel got two at once.

They tell the others how she got a second strike, saying that the spa jets were going, and they only whispered in each other’s ear. Chrissie can’ believed they got picked up for it. Claire says that it is all assumption from BB. They are getting close to talking about stuff they shouldn’t be, but anyway.

Cut to Dan and Jaime having a convo in the square living room. Jaime is saying he won’t have one night stands, and that he would rather go home by himself than force things to happen. Dan pipes in saying that he doesn’t force either, saying thats probably why he hardly gets any action. Dan says that he loves dancing with people, not saying a word, and then never see or talk to them again. He finds it exotic. Jaime says that it shows that Dan has a lot of respect for women.

Dan says that while it isn’t a complex thing, but he finds it terrifying going up and starting to talk to a girl. Ah Vincent is there too, saying that the first time he was with someone when he was 16. It was her first time too. It happenned on Valentine’s Day. He says that every year since that day, he leaves a white rose in her mailbox every Valentine’s Day. He says he has done it 12-13 time now. He says it always comes from his parent’s garden, and he picks all the thorns off it. He says that he is happy that he is still friends with his first time girl. Actually, thats the nicest story Vincent has ever told IMO. Comm break.

Back from the break, and Mike comes on. Goes through the first brain teaser. LOL. Jamie and Vincent are going shopping once he goes back to Melbourne. Jo is joining them too. Saxon says he would never go shopping with Jamie and Jo, because he has the five minute rule, in with clothes within five minutes, or walk out with nothing. Dan says he always has to go to the toy section when he goes to any shopping centre, because he has to see the Star Wars stuff.

Chrissie mentions she went to a Karoke bar at Crown in Melbourne with a friend one night, and somehow had drinks all night in there private karoke bar, and spent $6 for the whole night – on the cab fare home! Her friend had connections apparently! Saxon says that when he is at a small restuarant, he always takes his plate up to the ktichen to help them out. LOL, Jamie says if they were eating in the diner on Home & Away. Chrissie says she would in that situation. They start talking about Sexy BB, apparently named Lara. Geez, that’s a great name…Anyway, they have an argument over who sexy BB is – they end up saying that have two sexy BB’s in this house. Sax & Dan start reliving the “What Does Mine Say” scene out of “Dude, Where’s My Car”. Comm break.

Mike comes on again, and as usual, gives his hint for the first brain teaser. Anyway, Claire has bought back a few coffee’s for the housemates from the kitchen. Reggie says that there has never been so much cosiness on this side of the house. It’s a good point, all the love seems to come from the other round bedroom. The lights go out, as all the housemates gather on the square side. They countdown the seconds till the other side of the house get their lights out as well, but BB plays with them and makes them wait a couple of minutes. They talk about whether they will get a party this week – Reggie doesn’t think so, before Pat’s 30th.

So many people in the room, it’s difficult to hear a conversation. Some of them are talking about what BB says to some of them. They say that BB should say sometimes “This is BB. Knock Knock.” or “This is BB. Why did bob fall off the swing.” I agree as well, more BB interaction. Kim says she’ll tell a racist joke. I didn’t hear it, but hardly anyone laughs, most saying that it is really racist. LOL, quote of the night to Claire “I didn’t think martians came from Mars.” Jamie tells Saxon that he has a tight little bum. Sax says that he is scaring him. They say that Jo also has a nice ass. Pat heads off to bed, Chrissie goes to brush her teeth, and we go to a break.

Dwayne from Brissie looks like he’ll win the first $1000 of the night, at approx 20 to 1. He gets it right. From our friends at OzUpdates.com, here is the joke from Kim earlier.

Q:What do you call an aboriginal who has an abortion?
A: A Crime Stopper.

Lovely, but moving on, and back to the house. Looks like everyone has gone to their respective bedrooms now, as Sax says goodnight to Jamie. Sax still running his hands through Reggie’s hair. Jo comes over from the bathroom to say goodnight to everyone in the square bedroom. Vincent gets up and either walks to the other bedroom, or to the bathroom. We cross over to the round bedroom, and Jo says she loves sleep. Dan says that the type of dreams he has depends on what side of his body he sleeps on. Jo and Chrissie are discussing something Belinda mentioned too them the other night. I dunno what their on about, so I won’t write about it. Back over in the square bedroom, someone has mentioned how much cuddling Sax and Reggie have done tonight. Reggie says that her man should know that it doesn’t mean anything. Kim says that if she did that her man would get so mad. Comm break.

Mike gives the clue for the second and last brain teaser fro the night, and then for the second night in a row, he gives us the eviction phone numbers. Weird, cause he never did it before boring last night, which was acceptable in the circumstances. Anyway, after that he sends us back to the house, and the square bedroom, where Reggie and Saxon have been cuddling for almost 3 hours, Mike tells us. LOL They start talking about the live feeds on the net, and Vincent says that the peak time would be in the morning at the showers. Reggie says it’s funny, cause she doesn’t even think about it. Vincent says your not meant to see it.

Back to the round house, Chrissie and Jo are discussing what they want to do with their lifes once they get out of here. Jo says she doesn’t expect anything to happen, but it would be good if something did come out of it. Jo informs Chrissie as to what her family brothers and sisters, from what I can imagine, are doing with their lives, and where they are all living. Jo says that someone wants her to move to Melbourne, and it looks like she is considering it. She still hasn’t moved out of home. Chrissie says that it’s the best feeling, and that she should really consider moving out. Jo says she’ll miss her mum. Chrissie says of course you will, but there is nothing better than independence. She liken’s it to ‘driving on your own for the first time.’ Comm break.

Back to Chrissie and Jo after trivia dude did his thing, and we’re back to Chrissie and Jo. Chrissie says that she has so many questions that she wants to ask. Apparently they got pulled into the DR (Jo and Chrissie) and BBB was so nice to them, saying that they would just have to be patient. We get the meanwhile box showing Saxon in the living room playing the guitar. Chrissie says that Reggie too has a crush on BBB as well, so it’s just not her. Jo says she can hardly remember what he looks like. They make fun of Claire sleeping. Jo reveals that Ben was actually missing Kylie heaps, on one of his last night he was holding a photo of her with a hankerchief in hand. They say that the fresh blood into the house has been great. Jo asks Chrissie when she last did her hair. She says “I dunno, about a month ago!” Comm break.

Mike gives a woman a $1000. She likes Reggie the best. She also thinks that Claire will be evicted on Sunday. Mike says goodnight to everyone for the week. Cya Mike! Back to Chrissie and Jo again. They are discussing how many people will still be in the house at the end. Jo suggest it might be 5 instead of 3 up until the last Sunday night. That’s how it’s done in the UK btw, well they have 4 until the final night. Thats what they did last year anyway. They are whispering very softly, and you can’t make it out. Apparently 6 weeks to go is that right? 10 people left. 6 normal evictions and a double eviction on one night would leave them with 3 on the last Monday. So perhaps there will be 2 double evictions before the end. If thats the case, surely they better do one soon, ie next week.

Jo said a bit earlier that because the house is very open now, and because they’ve got 10 people again, they have split into groups again more often, whereas last week with just 9, who were all there from the start, it was a greater bond, and more group activities. Jo feels she doesn’t really fit into any of the groups though, and that that has been the case for her through life. Chrissie gives her a bit of reassuring. Chrissie says that the minute anyone sees Jo they immediately think “Wow, what a beautiful, gorgeous girl.” The more Chrissie gets to know her, the more she likes her, and that gorgeous tag evaporates and she just sees a really nice person.

Crossed over to the other house, Reggie is still lying on Saxon’s bed. Vincent says he wanted to a fireman up until they did the fire task. Is Sax back there, or still outside? Quickly back to Chrissie and Jo. Chrissie asks Jo how she feels on Monday’s after nominations. Chrissie says that she feels really bad. Jo reminds her that everyone has to do it. Jo says she dreads Sunday’s and Mondays. Chrissie says she’s going to be a wreck on Sunday – and she isn’t even nominated! Chrissie says that if she could ‘call’ who could be evicted, that would let her get ready for that person going, but she can’t even do that, cause she has no clue. Comm break.

Back again for the last time tonight, and there is movement in the square bedroom. Chrissie has also got up and is laughing with Reggie and Kim. Damn, I think I missed a great comment! Perhaps it was directed at Kim, saying that she had a big fat arse!

Ooh, Jo and Saxon are out on the couch. Sax says to Jo that she doesn’t need eyelashes cause she has great eyes. Sax asks Jo if she thinks he has been acting different around her the last week. Jo says Yeh, and Sax says he doesn’t know why. Sax says that Jo has changed as well. Chrissie comes out now and joins them. LOL They are suggesting that a new BB boardgame is out, and Sax thinks that it is about them, and people have to be a contestant! How wrong can you be Sax! LMAO. Chrissie starts singing “The Phantom of The Opera” for some reason, and Sax says he went to see it with his dad. Chrissie says “Well, your seeing it right here.” Wasn’t that funny, but the way she said it was priceless. Music came on for a sec to suggest the end of the show, but faded again. They mention Michael Crawford in his role of Phantom.

Sax says that he came out to the living area cause when he got back on the bed with Reggie people kept saying ‘be careful’. He says he is sick of all the rubbish about hugging people, and just came out for a break from it all.

Reggie was crying earlier, and Chrissie offers a great explanation. She says that Reggie knows that she is the favourite with the audience, and ever since the two newies came in, they’ve treated Reggie as a star, and now Reggie has started thinking that the other housemates must think of her badly cause she is doing so well. They praise Reggie throughout the conversation, and say they love her. “She is one in a gazillion!” Soon after this, dreamworld says goodnight for another week :)

Keep Looking For Warren,
Dave

Day 41

5:28pm – Claire and Patrick are in the kitchen, discussing the lack of food. They predict the milo will be gone by shopping day, and becuase they have failed this week’s task they will have no money to spend. Inside Jo suggests a party might happen – but Chrissie says there is nothing to celebrate about: there’s no food and no money.

Outside Kim is explaining to Regina and Claire its hard to come into the house so late because strong friendships have already been formed – it doesn’t feel right. Claire says everyone else thinks Kim’s a housemate – Regina agrees, but she can see Kim and Jaime aren’t being welcomed properly.

6:23pm – Jo is collecting glasses, and Kim reveals she’s already had two glasses of wine. She wants Jo to fill it up again.

Jo: “I would love to… but I can’t”.

There is a silence, until Jo explains all the wine is gone. Back in the kitchen Jo explains what just happened to Vincent, who finds it funny. Saxon wonders what he’d be like in a relationship, Kim jumps on the conversation and says: “you’d always wonder if you looked better than your girlfriend, you’re too loud so you’d overtalk her all the time”. Jaime starts laughing. Saxon says that’s funny coming from Kim who’s N+1. Kim responds: “I’m not as arrogant and pig headed as you and stubborn”. This is what Kim has gathered from 4 days knowing Saxon. He says she doesn’t really have any say yet, but Kim replies that she is allowed to throw her two cents in. Saxon throws her two cents away.

8:00pm – Regina is still angry about Saxon telling her to be quiet the night before. Saxon says he was acting on Chrissie’s behalf, who was trying to sleep. Regina doesn’t want to talk about it anymore, infuriating Saxon.

8:18pm – Saxon and Regina are now in the square lounge room, discussing this argument they’ve been having. They go round in circles with it, and decide to have a serious chat some time.

11:28pm – It’s time for the serious chat. While lying on Saxon, Regina explains she is worried about the fact that she might be intimidating. She feels she is making everyone think of her differently…. like she is more popular. Chrissie, who has now joined the coversation says she doesn’t think like that but they are exicted because they have some one so funny and interesting – and Regina probably doesn’t realise this. “It’s a gift, but you just have to face the facts”. Regina feels better now that she’s had a chat.

12:43am – Regina is back in Saxon’s bed, much to the taunts from Daniel – “they’re spooning each other!”

Regina: “I know Adrian would be going fuuuuuuuck!”

Before she entered Adrian told Regina not to be touched by any other guys in the house.

Kim: “Where’s your wedding ring?”
Regina: “I forgot them”

They all laugh.

1:44am – Chrissie and Saxon are talking to Jo about Regina’s episode earlier. Chrissie says Regina is “one in a gazillion.. she’s a legend” and because it’s obvious Regina thinks that the other housemates are thinking of her differently. There is also the issue of Saxon and Regina hanging out. Saxon says if her husband of 6 years can’t accept that they are just mucking around.. “phft!”.
