Day 48

9:48am – Housemates are out and about enjoying the sun. Coffee is becoming a problem though, after losing the task they have no money to buy more, and it’s now all gone.

11:47am – Sunbathing Regina, Kim and Jaime discuss Jo’s relationship with the boys in the house. Jaime says “if I was straight, there would be four sharks circling one dolphin”. Regina says Jo loves in, and Kim agrees. Kim adds she wouldn’t like it if her boyfriend was watching her get all this attention while in the house. Jo probably has grown up with it, says Jaime, but Regina has never had it happen before so she wouldn’t know what its like. Jaime won’t believe Regina hasn’t had guys going after her.

1:57pm – Saxon and Vincent are going to the diary room. During Patrick’s birthday celebrations a few nights before some of the housemates entered the old square house store room, which was off limits. Big Brother gave them 24 hours to think of a way to make ammends. Chrissie tells the two she doesn’t think Big Brother is going to like what they have to say. Inside Vincent says the housemates who didn’t know they were being led into the house shouldn’t be punished – Vincent and Saxon take the blame and say BB should only punish them. Saxon suggests a week long alcohol ban, and Vincent has a concerned look on his face. Big Brother agrees to this punishment, and asks them to use their common sense from now on.

The pair go to the kitchen and explain what happened. Vincent makes a “taking it in stride” appearance, telling the others to not worry about them, even though the group doesn’t look concerned at all.

A few hours later Big Brother provides the housemates with cocktail ingredients and equiment for a cocktail party. Jo and Saxon find them in the store room first, and Saxon looks shocked. He runs to the diary room to ask Big Brother if his ban starts today. Meanwhile Jo calls for everyone to come see whats in the store room. Saxon’s efforts are in vain: Chrissie reads out from a letter: “At no time can Saxon or Vincent…” she is cut off by Regina and Kim screaming in excitement. Vincent walks in to the store room, realises whats going on and walks straight out again. Regina laughs at him.

In the diary room Saxon is saying he will go without alcohol for 2 weeks if he can just have it tonight. His excuse is that one of the people he’s closest with (Jo) might be leaving on Sunday. He says its not fair.

Outside Jo reads the rest of BB’s letter: “The two alcohol abstainers Saxon and Vincent must act as waiters and barmen. Enjoy yourselves and remember Big Brother is always watching”. Kim and Regina scream in excitement again. Saxon walks out of the diary room pouting – he swears. Kim follows him cheerfully saying “but you get to mix up all the drinks”. Saxon sarcastically says “OH SICK!” and walks outside. There is an ackward moment – Chrissie, Jaime and Jo painfully growl “uuuhhhh”. Jaime says “thats probably not what he wanted to hear”.

Outside Saxon tells Vincent about the bartending. Jo comes outside and says she feels bad for getting excited. Inside Chrissie says it feels like they are rubbing it in. In the kitchen Saxon is whinging on about how he thought Beebs was a good sort of bloke but now he’s being unfair: “I think its pathetic”.

Around 7:30pm – Vincent is getting on with things and has made some drinks for the housemates, and jokes with them: “to cocktails, and broken dreams”. In the bathroom Saxon is pouting like a little kid with Jo fussing over him. She says “you have to learn how to control your temper, I’m telling you know because you’re my friend”. Saxon asks when has he lost his temper.

7:42pm – Vincent announces the bar is open, and the drinking housemates all share a toast. Later in the night Regina and Kim compliment Vincent on his drink making skills.

7:57pm – Daniel is already giggling a lot and Jaime replaces the drink in his hand with a bottle of water. Everyone laughs.

9:30pm – Housemates are singing in the lounge room. Jo snuggles up next to Patrick while they sing the line “your love for me is real”. Vincent notices this and looks just a tad jealous.

10:04pm – The party has finished and Saxon and Vincent are washing up in the kitchen. Jo comes in and thanks them for making the drinks. She’s very proud of them.

10:15pm – Regina is showing her naughty side and by shaking her groove-thang (her butt) for the other housemates. In the kitchen Jo asks Patrick if he will come for a swim with her – he will. They hug and Patrick tells her “don’t go”. She says it’s not up to her but if she goes she will miss him a lot. They sit down for a deep and meaningful. She says if she is evicted she will be coming to Bondi within weeks (to see Patrick). She adds to Vincent they will be catching up for coffee outside the house. Vincent seems very unenthusiastic and says “we’ll see”. Patrick wonders whats up with Vincent.

10:34pm – The housemates (except Jaime and Kim) all gather in the kitchen. Regina and Patrick stand by them and whip out the emergancy coffee they had stashed away all week. Back in the living room:

Jaime: Whats going on Kimmy?

Kim: I don’t know. They’re just leaving us out of things like usual.

Kim: It’s over a stupid jar of coffee. That they hid.

Jaime: They’ve got a jar of coffee?

Kim: I could leave, I don’t like it in here at all.

Jaime: Don’t you?

Kim: Yeah. It’s pathetic. I’ve never seen such a group of 30 year olds who are such children… but I’m going to stay here. I don’t care how much people hate me.

Jaime: No one hates you

Kim: Oh I know but I mean I’m going to stay here and I probably won’t get along with all these people in the next couple of weeks because I just can’t… ah… everyones so fucking immature. I don’t know any 30 year olds that act like this. Somtimes I think this is so fucked and I would press the button but its up to the outside world whether I go or not. Not these people.

Later Jaime goes into the kitchen and tell the group that whats going on with the coffee is making Kimmy feel excluded. Chrissie says there is no exclusion – but Jaime asks why they didn’t grab him and Kim to come over as well. Jaime goes to get Kim, and while he’s gone Chrissie says she doesn’t like it when people say she’s excluding others from the group… “its not nice at all”.

Jaime comes back to the living room, and Kim tells him not to “get” the other housemates to invite her over. Jaime explains he already did it. Regina (who is now sitting with Kim) and Kim both sign and complain. He says he was just trying to help.

10:56pm – Jo and Saxon are in the bedroom. She says to Saxon this is his second last night with her. Saxon gets all dramatic and yells “oh” and sits down looking depressed. He goes on to tell Jo he cares about her like no one else, but Jo says “yeah whatever”. He begins to get upset and walks away. Patrick enters and Jo leaps into his arms and they have a big long cuddle. He gets her to sit on his lap and they look at each other in the one-way glass. Patrick kisses her on the cheek.

In the living room Regina and Kim are chatting on the sofa. Kim says if Vincent ignores her one more time she will confront him about it. She is annoyed he never opens up or tells stories – he’s creepy. “I don’t want to know him any more than I do now because he’s fucking disgusting. He thinks he’s superman but he’s fucking gross”.

Day 47 Uplate

From what I can tell, most housemates have decided to call it a night before Up Late even starts, but nevermind, if there are a few of the housemates up, we might get a good conversation.

Join the house at 11:47pm, in the bedroom, with Jamie, Chrissie and Jo talking in “Chrissie’s Corner”, with Dan also in bed, but awake. Mike tells us that Saxon stormed into the kitchen after Pat and Jo were talking at the end of tonight’s daily show, and Patrick got some bad vibes, so he went to bed, leaving Jo and Saxon up, and they stayed up for most of the night, sleeping together on the couch.

Anyway, back into the house, Jo says to Chrissie “I’ll miss you heaps.” Chrissie says “If you go, I won’t be long after…” Chrissie says she’ll go beginning of Week 9. She says thats a great innings, which it is. They say there are a lot of people still in the house for where they are at, not long left and all. Chrissie says she was sick today, Jo says she is starting to get just a little bored. Chrissie says she has had about three migranes in her life, Jo says she has three a year.

Apparently Dan made some dinner tonight, and they are complimenting him on his cooking. Chrissie says “How exciting would it be to be going out on Sunday”. Background someone is playing that damn guitar some more, perhaps in the living room. Dan is talking about “Kath & Kim”, almost reciting a whole scene from an episode. Funny stuff. They all seem Kath & Kim fans in the house. Chrissie says she would love a board game, Jo says it would be so much fun.

Out into the living room, where Saxon says he wants to put the net over the pool so they can play volleyball. Pat says it would be cool. Vincent is there too. They are going through the games they could play, one they’ve named “Lord of The Rings.” Pat decides to go to the toilet. As soon as Pat gets up, Sax grabs the guitar. Vincent creeps up to the bedroom door, and with his broom, he gets the broom to touch Chrissie’s feet. When Chrissie turns around all she can see is Saxon on the couch. All is revealed just afterwards though. Jamie makes his way into his bedroom, dunno where he was. He goes outside to join the boys. Jo wonders what time it is, they suggest it’s late. Chrissie says that Dan got a special mention on the quiz. He says it made him feel good. Kim comes into this bedroom, saying that she can’t get to sleep. She says she is not going to eat bread anymore, she seems that she is putting on a bit of weight.

BB tells Kim she forgot her microphone, as Jo gets changed under the bedspread. She can’t sleep, so she is going to go over to the kitchen. Jo says she is weary, but can’t get to sleep, so she decides to scrap the idea, and go and sit on the couch. Vincent is the only one out there for the minute, and she explains she’s over tired now. Mike tells us that they failed the task, but they only bet 50% this time, so it’s not so bad. Pat comes back and sits near Jo, who is lying down. No sign of Saxon. Vincent sees they are making Milo, so Jo offers to go over there and get him one. Vincent asks for a Zinger burger while they are over there. Pat goes back to figuring out how to play a song on the guitar. Surely the camera’s will follow Jo!!! Vincent is just lying on the couch now, looking like he could fall asleep any minute.

Over to the kitchen, they are talking about how Jo has some special eating requests or something, and Saxon doesn’t think she is eating what she should be because she feels guilty that she is eating more than the rest. Chrissie who is over there, says that it is Jo’s problem, and she has to deal with it if she thinks it’s a problem. Jo agrees with Chrissie. Comm break.

Back with Mike, and the first brain teaser of the night. Plugs the official site again. Back in the kitchen, Chrissie, Kim, Saxon and Jamie sitting at the table. Sax is saying that he admires people who can scoff their face and still keep an amazing body. Chrissie says that Jo is dealing with the food situation well, and when she has a problem, she will figure it out because she’s so smart. Jamie says she is a brillant woman. Sax has gone, and guess where he is. Sitting next to Jo. He keeps saying to Jo he’ll tell her stuff on Monday, trying to drum it into himself that she’ll be here for another week. Jo gets up to go to the toilet, so the camera switches back to the kitchen. Kim says she went to some river at some stage, for a drive, a one lane road or something. She has fun by the sounds of it. Kim says that they had a family reunion of sorts, 25 of the family gathered together. She says ‘we just drank…and drank”. Comm break.

Trivia dude does his work again, giving the hint this time, before talking to Gerald from Centrebet. Joanne was the shortest at $1.10, but has gone into $1.05, Daniel at $5, and Reggie at $51! Back to the living room though now, where Saxon, Kim, Chrissie, Jo, Pat, Jamie and Vincent. Sax is telling a Carlo story, about how he played one week in the position he wanted to play (soccer), scored three goals, asked the coach if he could stay in that position, the coach said no, so he gave up playing competitively or something. I missed the last little bit of that conversation. Saxon tells the house about a injury he had right on his shorts linr, so he had to take a week off school to get it to heal a bit. Anyway, back at school, they asked him to play Union that week because it was a huge game. He didn’t tell the coach of the injury, and so he put a car wash sponge around the wound, taped it with duct tape, and put bike shorts on as well. He finally got out onto the ground, and the kick was a high one, he caught it, but the weight of the ball pushed it onto his waist line, leaving him unable to move. He got stretchered off, the coach seeing the pain he was in. He says the sponge actually got into the wound because the ball was pushed into him with such forces. Both Jo and Chrissie can’t believe that he would risk his injury by playing that week. Comm break.

Brain teaser time. Emray wins the first $1000 for the night. Back to the living room, Kim is talking away with a story. She is telling another painful story of one of her friends. Vincent says he had pins going right through his arm, and the only way to get them out was with some tweezers, and just a good hard pull to get them out. He says it really hurt. Saxon says that he cut his eye once, and they are all sitting round grimishing while he tells how much it hurt, and how he could hardly see anything, and he thought he was going to be blind. The scariest thing in his life he reckons. Comm break again.

Mike back with the hint for round two of the teasers. He goes through the new forum on the official site, something about a gay bar or something. I dunno, don’t care either. Back to the house, Saxon says he hurts himself somehow every day. Everyone seems to be talking at once, which really makes great television. Jo learnt the lesson the hard way of not to run around pools. She was running to go to the toilet one day at school, tripped on the side of the pool, and blood was evrywhere. She managed to walk over to a teacher, who nearly died of shock, before they swung into action and took her to the hospital. Someone asks when she went to the toilet, but she can’t remember!

Chrissie tells a story of her father walking out of a milk bar, a car collecting him, flying him into the air, and he unfortunately landed on his legs, shattering them and he now is confined to a wheelchair. Saxon says he got hit by a rock one day and he took of his shirt some time later, and he realised that his head was a bit factured. Comm break.

At 1:12am, we are back with Mike again. He goes through it all again, goes through the clue again, because it’s a bit early for him to go home just yet. Back to the living room again, Vincent saying that he takes after his father more than his mother. His father has hobbies out in the shed, Vincent has hobbies on his computer. Saxon says he doesn’t hang around with his father at all. Chrissie’s father has the curly hair in the family, while her mother has the olive skin.

Pat mentions something about a fake window in the storeroom or something. Saxon says that there is one bit of the bathroom which is different than the other, and he reckons that was where the camera run was when they merged, and they whacked it up that day when they merged. They talk about how BB told them they will get to go in the camera runs when they are evicted. They are all looking forward to that. LOL. Helicopter is code for they can’t talk about it. Pat says “even helicopters are helicopters”, referring to them not allowed to wave to them now. They talk about how on a Cottee’s bottle they received, there is a comp for 9 mates to stay at Dreamworld. Vincent says Helicopter, but they say they can discuss that. Comm break.

Delisa wins the second $1000 for the night. Her name comes from a contestant from Sale of the Century. I’m waiting for someone to actually get it wrong, that would be cool! He calls the people at the Official Site ‘freaks’. Funny Mike!!! Nite Mike, but before he goes he tells us that The Insider has exclusibe footage of Carlo meeting his girl again for the first time since he got out of the house. Now it’s bedtime for Mike, as we return to Jo talking to the group. Ewwwwww. Saxon tells a story wher his friend was eating spaghetti one night and somehow got it to come out his nose, then he had the courage to put it back in his mouth and just suck in, like a big loop. Yuk!!! Sax says that BB won’t give them alcohol next week. Jo can’t burp, but also tells of a game where they were just reciting animal sounds around and around. Sound riverting…Jo’s back is hiving or something, Saxon has had a look, and Kim is talking about it now. Kim says crossing your legs when your getting a haircut will lead to uneven sides, while Saxon says his doctor noticed his back was uneven because he had one sock off. Kim goes to bed. Comm break, the last for the night.

Wow, just a few minutes, and everyone has headed to bed. Saxon is heard in the bathroom but no vision is on him. Pat and Jo are in bed. Chrissie climbs into bed, saying “Saxon doesn’t know how to be quiet!” Jo agrees. Jo says she needs a wax, and Chrissie says “It’ll be great.” Pat says there is a place just near the cafe (referring to the kitchen), which have a 2 people deal, $35. They say “Thanks BB” for some reason. Chrissie and Jo are laughing quite loudly now, and the others all seem to be in bed now. They whisper some more about nothing, Pat keeps reading, the girls shut up for a change, all before Dreamworld says goodnight.

Keep Looking for Warren,
Dave.

Day 47

4:10am – Patrick is going to bed after a long night of partying. However, Jo is still up and is talking with Saxon on the lounge room sofa.

7:09am – Jo and Saxon wake up on the sofa. Jo is worried about her possible eviction on Sunday and says “I hope I don’t go”. The two of them hug for a very long time. Saxon says he had an amazing dream but he will tell her later.

11:25am – Vincent is up and goes into the kitchen. Regina and Jamie are up too. Reg asks Vincent how he is.. Vincent says he’s alive and that’s all. Shortly after Daniel comes into the kitchen. Jamie says he would have slept in but didn’t want to miss the hot water, and will probably have a nap in the afternoon.

In the bedroom Jo goes and lies down next to Patrick, who is still sleeping off the night. She asks him if he wants breakfast. Patrick can only manage a few mumbles. Jo says she’s disturbing him and leaves again to the kitchen.

In the kitchen Jo is talking about how Vincent “smashed the shit out of the pinata”. She says it was almost scary how hard he was hitting it – “so much power”. She then starts remember her and Vincent dancing, doing the cha cha cha even though the music wasn’t right for it. Vincent doesn’t look so enthusiastic as Jo is. He tells her that in future she shouldn’t do stuff that gives “unwanted attention”.

1:29pm – Regina is reflecting upon the Big Brother auditioning process. She was in the same final group as Vincent but as Regina reveals, they didn’t get along with each other very well. Patrick asks about her view of him. Regina says that during auditions she told the pyschologists “I think he’s up himself and he thinks he comes across better than anyone else”. When she intruded into the square house, she thought she should cast away first impressions and get to know him, even though he wanted nothing to do with her. She thinks it’s strange that Vincent is suddenly trying to get to know her just recently.

At that moment Vincent walks into the kitchen so the converstation immediately switches to Regina’s fish and chips shop. Patrick says something about his pee being bright green after taking the vitamins they were given(?)

1:40pm – Jo is reflecting on her seven weeks in the house as Jamie comforts her on the sofa. Jo admits she doesn’t want to go out on the eviction stage, but would rather leave like Jaime did. Chrissie reminds Jo it’s only for half an hour max and remembers a quote Jaime said: “Put a leg of ham on a broomstick and they’ll cheer at it”. This is a very accurate description of the live audience – vibes

2:58pm – Patrick is exercising to work off the effects of last night. Inside Saxon is reflecting upon the party with Jo. He says it was really cool. Jo says she misses the affection from outside… she could almost die without it. Saxon says friends are the most important (or the most unimportant?) and that they should be friends. Jo says “cool”.

5:42pm – It’s the final day for the quiz task so the housemates are called to the lounge room as one by one they enter the diary room. They need 75% success rate, and this time the housemates must draw random questions from a barrel.

Chrissie chooses movies and her question is “Who provides the voices for the characters from Shrek”. Chrissie answers correctly with “Mike Meyers, Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy”. Regina is asked how many versus were originally in the national anthem, she guesses correctly with 5. Vincent is asked who wrote ‘the true history of the kelly gang’. He doesn’t know the answer and guesses an incorrect author. Patrick is asked “off which coast is Rottnest Island located”. He answers correctly with Western Australia. Jamie is asked to spell ‘recommendation’, which he gets right. Daniel is asked what was Kylie Minogue’s first single was – The locomotion (correct). The housemates are told the results will be given later in the night.

6:17pm – Most of the housemates are in the kitchen. Jamie gives a hand with the pasta. In the bedroom Regina and Kim are telling stories. Regina is reluctant, saying she’s bad at telling stories. Kim asks if he has any happy stories to tell. Regina says her last really happy moment was when she was called for Big Brother auditions. Kim asks “what about your last birthday”. Regina says her and her husband’s last birthdays were very boring. She sighs and says “our lives are just so…” and trails off with another sigh.

Regina then tells about last Christmas where Regina went to the shops at the last minute and couldn’t get her husband Adrian a present. She told him she didn’t have a present but he thought she was joking. When Christmas day come Adrian had bought her a deck chair to sunbathe on, but she didn’t have anything for him. She says he looked very disappointed. Kim laughs. Regina says he wasn’t hurt by it. Kim warns that she doesn’t want to be 60 and her life will be gone and all she will be doing is working at the fish and chips shop.

8:02pm – The housemates are given their task results. They comment that Big Brother is not sounding happy. Big Brother says that they bet 50% of their wage. If they pass they have $210 to spend, if they fail they have $70. He congratulates Chrissie, Daniel and Vincent on doing very well in their questions. He then says they got 69% – but they needed 75% to pass. Daniel yells out ‘DOH’. Chrissie is optimistic and says “it’s better than nothing”.

Daniel is telling Vincent about his paper-mache cow television. Saxon is lying in Jo’s bed talking to Chrissie. Saxon says if he goes next week he’ll be happy. He also says he feels like telling people in the house to just shutup sometimes. Chrissie feels the same way. He then says that if Jo (or if any of the other nominees) leaves, he will be horrified. Chrissie agrees again.

10:48pm – Regina is talking to Jamie about the outside. Jamie asks Regina about having kids. She says she’s not feeling maternal at this point in her life. Jamie says that’s interesting because she’s 29. Regina suggests that maybe she would want kids if she wasn’t working in the fish and chips shop so much. She says she’s felt so tied down for 11 years. Jamie says that she doesn’t want to just work and work and miss her mark.

11:50pm – The housemates are going to bed. Chrissie talks to Jo in bed. Jo hopes she doesn’t go this week. Chrissie says she’s had a good innings either way.

Day 46 Uplate

Evening all, hopefully a fun filled night ahead, being Pat’s birthday and all.

Straight into it tonight, we join the house where it seems almost everyone is in the spa! Mike comes on, saying it’s been the biggest party we’ve ever seen in the house. He says there has been lots of flirting. Jo apparently has said to Vincent and Saxon “I Love You”, and they have returned the favour. Jo wants to come to Melbourne to visit Melbourne, and Sax just asked Jamie “If I was gay, would you pash me?!” Ah yes, interesting night indeed. He runs through the eviction phone numbers, and we return to the audio and vision of the folks in the spa.

Jo is in Saxon’s arms, looking a little drunk! We have vision, but no audio – BB music going over the top for some reason. Mike comes back on saying they are singing a song which they don’t have permission to play. Let’s hope they get their singalong out of the way very soon. Back to the spa again, still singing, but we can hear them this time. Quicly dragged away to the bedroom though, where no one is, so we can’t hear it. Actually, very faintly can hear it. Can confirm everyone is in the spa, still singing. Mike comes on again for the third time, explaining that they can’t show, or more importantly, play the audio of the song before they have permission from the singer. Finally back to it, three people are now in the pool, they’ve started singing again! Kim, Jo, Pat, Chrissie are in the pool now. Saxon and Vincent have now joined them. Jo can’t stop singing, cuddling Pat. Jamie in their too now. Jo just stood up on Pat’s shoulders and did a backflip, bikini showing a bit when she came up for air, and had to re-adjust. Audience didn’t see the slip though.

Jo back in spa now, with Saxon! Jo is half out of the spa, leaning over the edge, so Saxongives her bottom a bit of a touch! Sax says he loves this, but it will never be like this in the outside world. Sax says he met someone in here who was happy before they came in, and Jo says “yeh I was”, and Sax then says “That Sucks, and I just broke the Spa.” Chrissie, Pat and Vincent come and ruin the chat. Sax and Chrissie are talking about real stuff, Chrissie saying that feelings people have inside the house are real, but outside you can put them in a better perspective. Jamie is also back in the spa. No idea where Reg, Kim and Daniel is. Sax tells Chrissie that she has bad BO, but Chrissie says “That Is one think I know I don’t have” They say what a cool party it is. They start singing “It’s your birthday etc” They are talking in song, which is annoying. Chrissie asks how he would have spent this day had he been outside. I think Pat is answering as if it was a normal day though. He says he wakes up about 6am. Kim enters the spa, a dramatic entrance! Meanwhile box comes on, and Reggie is in the kitchen. No idea where Dan is still. Pat is continuing to answer, but it’s just to hard to hear over the spa jets and others yelling. There’s Dan, he enters the pool with a ridiculous, large paper mache hat on his head. It looks cool :) Kim says “What a life!” Did Kim actually just say “What are microphones for anyway?” Oh god if she did! Jo is singing that ‘Bring It On’ song thingy that she does all the time. Kim is talking to Chrissie, saying “I am polite. I just think people need to loosen up sometimes.”

Vincent has hardly said a word, or maybe he has, and we just can’t hear him over all the bloody yelling going on. Someone is giving foot massages while they are in there, and Jo wants one. Jo says she is going to get out and have a shower, just as Reggie comes over and asks anyone if they want a glass of water. They take about whether there is urine in the spa or the pool, cause by Kim;s comment “look at all the pee in here”. They all say “Happy Birthday” one last time to Pat, as they cut to the first break of the night.

Back with Mike, he’s hyped for tonight, they are having a party as well in the studio apparently. Runs through the brain teaser for us, plugs the Official Site again (go back to pluging BBBA I reckon!), before we return to the action. Footage on Reggie cleaning cause the others are singing again. They’ve left one hell of a mess tonight. She fills two buckets full of hot water, I imagine for showers. Vincent is out of the spa. Reggie drops some water in the house, and says “Oh shit, Bugger….” five seconds later “bugger” and then again “dripped it everywhere!” Vincent comes into the house at this stage. She cleans it up, outside singing in full swing so no chance of crossing back there for a bit. Vincent tells Reg he is going to use one of the buckets, then he’ll refill it. We get footage of him having a shower, and Reg comes in and says “Are you nude or normal” LOL. He says he isn’t nude. Reggie looks like she’ll have a shower as well. She asks Vincent if he gets bruises in here. Vincent says he has had a couple. A bit more of them washing themselves in silent, before comm break.

Back again, with Mike. He makes mention of the State of Origin earlier tonight (wrong code of football!), before running through the brain teaser. Saxon was talking to Reggie about nominations earlier, which is dangerous, cause he has two strikes already. He asked Reggie what motivated people to get into the diary room and say “I nominate Saxon”. Reggie, being the good girl she is, shrugged it off. Still singing away, so we get the footage of Reggie trying to do her robe up in her bedroom. Reggie ventures outside again, and then just when they seem to be stopping, helps launch another song. Voiceover music comes on, because the footage is outside. Back with audio, with Reggie in the kitchen. I’ll be so dissapointed if this singing keeps up all night. Reggie is talking to herself in the meantime, trying to find something, and saying “no” a few times. They flip it back to the spa, but the voiceover music comes on immediately. Back to the kitchen, Reggie cleaning up a bit. Mike comes on and talks about the daily show that screened earlier tonight. He goes through the eviction phone numbers for the second time, something he never normally does. Comm break. An ad for uncut is the first comm, looks like the usual stuff. Ah this is so annoying, this Up Late show could be so good, if only they would stop damn well singing.

Back with Mike, who talks to a girl named Emma who is very excited to make it on, and the word is Sober LOL, so he says “I don’t think your sober either”. She blames it on the State of Origin rubbish, they talk about it for a few minutes. Means they are still singing of course. Emma called a million times and got rejected except for one. Return to the house damn you people! Mike explains that BB are ‘protecting their asses’ cause they are singing, and BB doesn’t have the copyright to the songs. Still talking to Emma, while they show Jamie having a shower. Apparently he had a kiss with Jo in the spa earlier, according to Mike, but I didn’t see it.

Finally the conversation ends, and Mike asks BB if they can return to the house. Pat is having a shower now. Jamie is in the bathroom, having finished his shower. They are talking in scottish accents (apparently the party was a scottish theme, with kilts and all. Can’t hear anything over the water running though. Reggie comes over and asks something about the hot water in the bucket, as they throw to a comm break.

Back to Mike again (ARGH!!!) who goes through the brain teaser, giving a clue as well, totally stuffing it up though, calling himself a ‘dick’ in the end. Anyway, back in the house, you can still hear singing outside. Pat is still in his UK-Scottish accent, talking to Reggie, Jamie and Vincent. LOL, Pat says “my mouth is like sandpaper” in the accent, just sounds so funny. Reggie says that the first time she wore her robe was yesterday. Pat puts the kilt back on to get right into the spirit. Vincent is sitting by his lonesome in the square bedroom, saying his stomach is a bit upset. Was Pat just suggesting that Vincent move to Sydney, I dunno, wasn’t concentrating properly. Vincent says he is just building his defence for tomorrow, I imagine for BB, perhaps they all did some talking about something wrong. Jamie gets a bit worried now, seeing he was there too. They mention a helicopter first, but Vincent says no, but then he says something about a storeroom. Vincent says they’ll pretend it didn’t happen. Nice to say it aloud, while a show is on guys! Jamie’s mum asked Jamie to not run around in his underwear, but apparently he did tonight, because he says his mum would be so ashamed. Comm break.

Back with Mike, who runs through the same teaser again, and the same hint. He goes through a few forum comments. He stresses for the first time that these are not views of BB or Channel 10. Oooh, he shows his laptop, an Apple.

Back to the square bedroom, where Reggie and Jamie are talking. Reggie says people change when they drink. Reg says she has had fun, but is so bloated. She says she hasn’t been drunk in here. She has been tipsy, but not tonight. They say that it looked like a heap of alcohol at the start, but with ten people it’s really not that much. Jamie adds “especially since there are a few heavy drinkers in here”. Reggie says the music was great, she loved it. Reggie says that this might be her last few days, to which Jamie says “I don’t think so…” Reg says she will have to get dressed up on Sunday, saying it’s exciting. She says it’s a bonus if she stays, “everyday’s a bonus”. She says she is glad for Patrice, saying “What a birthday to remember.” Reg says to Jamie that he should touch her feet, cause they are freezing. Comm break. Really, really missing out by not being able to see the spa I think.

Shaun wins the $1000 for the final time tonight. He gives his band a plug. Finally we get some footage of the spa. He goes on and plugs the OS again. Oh c’mon, get back to the house. Plugs uncut, saying it will be the best uncut for the year to date. Cut to the kitchen, where Jamie, Pat and Vincent are chatting. Vincent is making up when his birthday is, saying it’s next week, in the hope of getting another party. They talk about the incident again, still got no idea what they are on about. Finally, Jo, Sax and Daniel in the spa. Sax has his arm around Jo’s leg. No sorry, they are holding hands. Jo says she needs to go to the toilet, and then will get her pj’s on. Sax says he doesn’t need to go to the toilet, but if he did, he would just go and jump in the pool. Jo gets out, leaving the boys in the spa. Dan says it’s still his birthday in other countries for a while, but Pat is worried about his guitar in the wet. From what I can gather, they went into an old storeroom earlier tonight, which was in the round house, but not used anymore, and it’s been turned into a camera run. They saw some people I think. They compare the wrinkles on their hands because they’ve been in the spa for so long.

Jo and Pat are in the round bedroom, Chrissie is their too. They start singing again, so they cut back to the spa. Dan is doing his characters again I think, or replaying a movie. Here comes Jo over, singing, so no doubt they will leave this. Dan calls Jo Pinky Pink, or something, as she heads to the kitchen, half in her pj’s, with a pink top. Comm break.

Back again. They have run out of Coffe for the week after tonight I think. Chrissie is saying that Jo won’t go, but Jo asks her to prepare just in case. OOoooh. She says Look at me. Helicopter. Suggesting that there was a message out the back of the helicopter, and they saw it. I am unsure. Kettle boils. Vincent backs away when Jo trys to put a lollie in his mouth. Maybe he has woken up. BB asks Kim to go to the diary room. Pat says that ‘boys are losing their bums these days.’ He asks ‘how do you grow them?’

Pat says he should have a scotch with BBB one night. They hear a noise outside, Chrissie says “What is that?” Pat says just an aeroplane crashing. Next, Chrissie is saying something is on fire. Queue the song “roof is on fire”. Pat says if they get more music in the next couple of weeks, they have to dance the night away. They talk about the storeroom again, and then move onto Pat receiving a card from his family. The housemates didn’t ask BB for that. Jo continues to chew the lollies, mouth open as well! Chrissie says they have Vincent, Dan and Kim for the quiz tomorrow. They apologise to Pat about not being able to get fairybread. Dreamworld says goodnight at this stage….If it wasn’t for the singing, this ep could have been very good. Nevermind, theres always tomorrow.

Keep Looking for Warren,
Dave

Day 46

9:01am – Jamie, Patrick and Regina are in the kitchen. This morning Regina made Patrick breakfast in bed for his 30th birthday, but Patrick got up just as Regina was walking in with the food. They three of them joke that Regina is Patrick’s wife for the day, and she must fulfil her ‘wife’ duties.

12:15pm – The housemates are doing their task. It’s a quiz where they housemates are asked questions on a specific topic each day. Today it’s music and they’ve chosen Chrissie to answer the questions. The first question is “In 2002 What former Black Sabbath singing had his own reality television show”. Chrissie answer it correctly with “Ozzy Osbourne”. The second question is “which east coast rapper was killed in a Los Angeles drive by shooting?”. Chrissie answers with Notorious B.I.G. but the other housemates think it’s Tupac. Chrissie gets it right and the housemates are awarded a bonus prize of extra toilet paper. The final question is “what is elvis’s middle name”, Chrissie gets it right.

2:18pm – Jo and vincent talk in the kitchen about an incident last night. Vincent walked in on Jo talking closely to Saxon and left immediately. Vincent tells Jo he just wanted to give them some privacy. They hug.

4:47pm – Jo tells Saxon about Vincent’s talk with her. She tells him that he wanted to give them time along. Jo tells Saxon she reassured him that it was no look, no feeling.

6:59pm – The housemates surprise Patrick with a birthday party as he comes out of the diary room writing his online diary. The theme for the party is Scottish highlands, because of Patrick’s birthplace. Chrissie brings the cake outside as Mike Goldman tells us that Patrick’s family always celebrates birthdays with a big party. The housemates are given a pinyata. Vincent is waving around the stick and making light saber sounds, he whacks out some candy which Jo promptly picks up.

9:03pm – Patrick is holding Jo, as he tips his glass with Vincent and Chrissie. Mid-nineties disco music starts playing. Three housemates are dancing along the kitchen window. Dan is making some very strange dance moves.

9:31pm – Jo hugs Saxon saying “I’ll miss you Bella”. Saxon says he will never forget her, and what about the 100 000 000 guys looking for Jo. She says she doesn’t care about them, and tells Saxon she loves him lots. Saxon says “I love you too”.

9:50pm – Patrick and Regina are dancing. Jo hugs Vincent telling him “I’m sooo going to be catching up with you in Melbourne”. Jo says “you can kiss me”, so Vincent gives her a peck on the cheek. Jo continues to talk about meeting up after Big Brother. She says she wants to bring her friends to meet him. She is very drunk. She hugs Vincent and he looks uneasy. They talk about how they will go shopping and have coffee together.

Patrick drags Jo away for a dance. Vincent sits there alone. Pat is dancing with Jo saying “I’m 30 years old”. Jo says that’s not true, and that “you’re as old as you feel, you’re not 30”. Jo says she can’t explain it but they are so in tune with each other. Patrick says “it’s like a ying yang thing” and that after the TV cameras… Jo butts in saying “we’ll have a chat!”. Jo says “I love my Patrice”.

10:07pm – Jo is washing the face paint off Patrick. Jo says “Oh Pattie, I can’t wait to see you when you get out”. They hug again. Patrick suggests they go to the spa, then have a big chat later. In the bedroom Jo says “I love you Pat, you know that… I haven’t had an instant with anyone else apart from you”. Patrick says it’s not the right place to discuss “instant pasta”. He says it’s not the type of pasta, just the fact that it’s pasta.

Jo calls Saxon over to talk to them. Saxon just keeps on walking past her and Patrick so she has to drag him away. Saxon says he’d rather get ready to have a spa. Pat tells Saxon not to worry about it.

10:28pm – They housemates are playing Suck and blow in the spa. Regina starts it off passing a peice of paper to Patrick. The paper circulates the spa and ends up with Jo taking the paper from Patrick. The only thing seperating them from pashing was the peice of paper. Later, Saxon is saying “that looked so fucking bad”. Vincent comes over and watches the housemates. Jo blurts out “I think it’s fun”. She is VERY drunk.

1:25am – Jamie is having a post party mortem in the kitchen. He is talking about the singalongs with some other housemates.

Dan, Jo and Saxon are in the spa singing. Saxon is kissing Jo’s leg. He comments on her wrinkly toes. Jo gets out to go put her pygamas on. Saxon says “fuck it’s been a bad night”.

1:35pm – Jo is talking to Vincent in the kitchen. Chrissie says her voice is totally exhausted and she will probably wake up with no lungs. Saxon is in the spa along and sings “JoJo’s a waste of time”.

2:23am – Jo helps Saxon clean up the kitchen. 2.46pm – The kitchen is clean but the two of them are still talking. Jo tells Saxon “remember that whatever you feel or do is going to be amplified… you’ll be getting out here in four weeks and you’ll be loving it”. Saxon asks “why would that change anything?”. Jo says it will bring everything into perspective. Saxon says it’s gay because the whole thing is so clear. Saxon says he’s going to the toilet, and leaves Jo and Patrick in the house.

Patrick says he’ll probably be married in a kilt after this party. Jo says she might be in her underwear. Saxon goes into the bedroom and tells Chrissie and Dan that Patrick and Jo are in the kitchen. Daniel can’t believe that Patrick is still up this late… suggesting he’s probably comtemplating being 30.

3:10am – Vincent comes into the kitchen. Jo talks in a bad greek accent. He complains that there is no pizza left and leaves again. Jo asks Patrick what he wanted to tell her before. He says he’ll tell her when they leave, but the general outline is about the two of them hanging out. Jo double-checks that he doens’t have a problem with them hanging out.

3:19am – Saxon sits with Jo and Patrick in the kitchen. After a few moments he says goodnight. Jo says she’s not tired but Patrick is getting there. Saxon leaves. Patrick tells Jo he’s really glad she’s there. Jo says “I got my wish”. Patrick says he will tell her his wish when they leave the house.

Day 45 Uplate

We join just before midnight tonight, which is just as well, because it’s “Patrice’s” birthday come midnight. I wonder if they will all sing Happy Birthday tonight, or wait until the party tomorrow night. Ooooh, that means an awesome Up Late tomorrow night hopefully!!

Anyway, hurry up Sports Tonight. They will actually be luck to make it by midnight from where I sit. 4 minutes left, and they are up to the ‘Play of the Day’. Here we go! Got there with two minutes to spare. Anoyone notice they took the Horror reference away from the MA rating. Only happened last night. Oh well, I probably find weird things. In the bedroom, Reggie doesn’t seem to be wearing much, Kim is giving her a massage. Mike welcomes us to the house, saying that the house have already given Pat a b’day massage, well the girls have anyway. Kim seems pretty good at what she’s doing, Patrick comes into the area, and uses the bathroom sink. Reggie says ‘hi Patrice’. Kim says that Reggie will have to keep her legs together so the camera doesn’t get any ‘breakfast’ shots! Kim seems to be rubbing on a HEAP of oil. Reggie says she has never had this done to her – she’s in heaven! She drags the towel down to cover her legs, and reveals her panties in the process, Kim says ‘Oops!’ Reggie says that Kim will hopefully rub away her Bready belly bug. They are using different names – Kim is called Sally. Trying to pretend they are in a salon or something I suppose. Reggie says the problem is where she is staying at the moment, there isn’t much food. They have a great laugh after this. Oh, we saw a bit much there then! Reggie says that hopefully they’ll be able to buy “Crunchy flake things’ so she doesn’t have to eat bread.

We cross over to the round bedroom, where Patrick, Jamie and Chrissie are talking. Daniel is also lying on his bed. Jamie says that because they are here 24 hours a day, they know so much, compared to the audience, and yet, they (sitting there in the bedroom) don’t have a clue about what is happening over in the kitchen at that moment. Presume Saxon, Jo and Vincent are over there. Jamie and Chrissie both agree that they would hate to get out and discover that someone in the house isn’t genuine. They don’t think there is anyone like that in here though. Jamie is explaining that when he decided to come out, he decided to change his outlook totally, and live with no regrets from that time on. He again tells Chrissie that his father wanted to put a PS on their Christmas cards, telling family and friends that Jamie was gay. Mike cuts in again, saying that we are watching “Chrissie’s Corner!” He plugs the OS, before crossing back to the bedroom. Kim comes into the room and says “Now would anyone else like to see Sally.” Jamie asks if thats a nice way of asking for Sex! Once they understand, everyone declines.

Chrissie says that getting an intruder coming in now via the emergency door would be the scariest thing she could ever experience. Reggie is trying to get her robe working, saying she never wears it, and judging by the way she is having trouble tying it up, she’s right. She says “F*** it, I’m taking it off” after all that. Ah, Reggie!

Saxon! He never stops talking this boy. As I thought, it’s Sax, Jo and Vincent in the kitchen. They are trying to figure out what week they are in, and perhaps what day it is. He says it if keeps going the way it’s going there will be four left at the end, and if they are asked to evict one of the intruders, there will be two left. God knows how they came up with that. Strange they don’t mention a double eviction – surely they realise that one is coming somewhere soon. Saxon says he would to know who does the phone voting – the outside company that controls it. He would like to know all about it. Jo is apparently a bit peeved cause her teeth are getting ‘too white.’ Geez, call the doctor! She says she needs some bottled water, but doesn’t know if BB will give it to her cause it seems he is favouring. Saxon says it’s a medicial condition, and they talk about white spots appearing on the teeth or something. Maybe there is something wrong with them. Comm break.

Back with Mike, who runs through the first brain teaser. To the kitchen we go, where incidentally, Saxon has his foot on the table or something, and Jo is massaging it or something weird. Ewww. Vincent is looking on, but is not saying much at all. Vincent gets up and leaves, saying he will go and read. Jo is not happy with this, saying that he isn’t himself. His heart is breaking, no bloody wonder!! Jamie comes over as Vincent leaves, to get his water bottle. He tells the two of Kim giving massages over in the bedroom, and Jo gets him to stay and chat with them for a while. Jamie gets himself and Jo some water. Sax asks perhaps the dumbest question of his laugh, saying to Jo “Have you seen Basic Instinct?” Jo again mentions that ever since she was 10, she was told not to use tap water, use bottled water instead.

Saxon can reel of anyone who is in the house, including people who left, and their birthdays. He is actually pretty good at it. In the middle of this, comm break.

Back with Mike yet again. He gives a hint for the first teaser, and then tells us that the new task is a Quizmaster Task. Housemates are called to the diary room to answer questionds – they aren’t going very well. Suprise Suprise, we return to the Kitchen! Nah, I love watching Saxon drool over Jo. Jo mentions that Leah had the scariest ghost stories. Jamie says that his parent’s country house is quite scary, if he is alone down there, he won’t look in mirrors, and tends to stay near the front of the house and keeps the stereo on loud. Jamie says he loves going to the Old Melbourne Goal and it’s night tours. Saxon says he would like to do that, cause he doesn’t get scared. Saxon reveals a story about how one night he was with a few mates, and some kind of witch, scary looking guy, scared the crap out of them by telling them what they were thinking about. Comm break, pretty boring conversation, hope they head to the bedroom after the break.

Catherine wins the $1000 for tonight, and got woken up after she rung through, cause she fell asleep. Lets hope she can remember what it was. She does. Good work, Mike goes onto setup the second game, but Catherine thinks that Jo is going on Sunday. Anyway, back to the action, and the kitchen, damnit! Jo is talking about Simpsons again to Saxon. Jo finds an episode that Saxon hasn’t seen! Jo seems to be like a TV addict. She is off work till she goes back, without pay of course. She is getting people to tape all of her favourite shows for her. Saxon asks if they are getting paid to be in here. Jo quickly says that they can’t talk about it. Jo is losing money from being in here, and Jamie is making money. Lots of beeping out, before they decide to cross to the square bedroom, where it is quiet. Reggie is in bed, and Vincent is on top of his bed reading. Kim is also in bed reading, and my TV is losing it’s reception…..let’s hope it’s going to be ok for the rest of the night. Mike says that they can’t show the other vision over in the kitchen, so they have to cut to the exciting stuff in the bedroom. He goes through the nominess names and phone numbers in the meantime. Allowed to go back to kitchen now. They are talking about Uni. Jamie says he had an exam today, and an exam on Friday. Comm break.

Mike gives a clue, and encourages us to but Claire’s eviction legacy items. Back to the kitchen, Jo asks Jamie if he wants a family. He says he would love to have a little baby in his arms, but he seems destined to just be an uncle for his sister or other family members. A lot of beeping out again. Sax asks if his name is James or Jamie, asking whats on his license. He goes to pull out his wallet haha, and then says it’ Jamie. Saxon says he lost his wallet just before he came into the house, or something like that. Jo has been to Dreamworld lots of times. They are talking about tolls, and Melbourne having the E-Tag system. Saxon doesn’t understand it. Jamie doesn’t have one (neither do I!) Sax is complaining how there is no way to go around some tolls in Sydney, and then says that when people finish painiting the Sydney Harbour Bridge, they have to start again. Jo says she is scared of heights. They go back to the Simpsons again, talking about the Bette Midler episode (was on just the other night actually!), for Krusty’s comeback. Jo says that she doesn’t think there is an episode she hasn’t seen. Comm break. Jusr thinking I wonder how long they would keep the vision on them if they started talking about another show, on a different network, in depth…

Mike does his usual stuff. Back to the kitchen, where they are talking about Sax’s great grandmother, who they would visit but she wouldn’t know who Sax, or his dad was. He says that the only time he has seen his dad cry, anyway, they change conversations midsstream. Jo says “I need to do a toilet”. They decide they should head back to the house. Back to his dad story, and I totally didn’t get that, sorry. They reach the bedroom, and look at the day planner near the door before they go in. They go inside, where everyone is asleep, or at least in bed. Jamie climbs into bed, while Jo gets changed. Patrice wakes up, so Jo gets him to turn her light on. She heads to the toilet. Saxon looks almost ready for bed himself. Vincent has given up on the book, and is asleep. Sax gets comfy, leaving Jo the only housemate left standing. Half an hour to go…. Comm break.

Mike rejoins us all, Alisha, 19 year old, is on the phone to Mike. He’ll stretch this one out cause everyone is asleep. LOL. Alisha changed her shifts so she could watch BB Up Late. She wins the $1000, before they chat some more. She wants Jo to go, cause she is playing Sax and Vincent. To show us it’s live, they show Chrissie, because Alisha requested it. LOL. She has Call Waiting going on. Mike tells the person calling to stop calling. He keeps talking to her, not very interesting. Mike says that even when people are sleeping on Up Late, they outrate Parliament Question Time. Her boyfriend is asked to come and talk to Mike, otherwise they won’t give her the cash. Here he is. They really have a great shot of the moon. Oh god, this is dragged on to long. Paul, the boyfriend, is a gardener, but is unemployed, so Mike trys to get him a job. His favourite is Daniel. Mike FINALLY wraps it up, and they hangup. Comm break.

Not that interesting of a show tonight, last night’s rocked a lot more. However, with Pat’s b’day bash tomorrow night, hopefully we’ll have some fireworks tomorrow night. Anyway, we’re back for approximately 10-12 more minutes of watching people sleep. Mike said that he was leaving, but he comes back on. Hey Mike! He reads a few more forum replies from the official site. He plugs the “Go Regina” website. He has Louise from Brisbane on the line. She suggest they put a rooster call through the house. Her favourite housemate is Daniel, or Chrissie. Exciting stuff. Their conversation ends, and he plugs the song again, and looks like they will play it again. Goodnight Mike, are you Mikey G, the writer of that song? Interesting…The Camera goes for a walk around the backyard, the song finally comes on just past 2am…Incidentally, the lawn was mowed overnight last night for anyone that is interested…The song ends, and so does the coverage, as Dreamworld says goodnight.

Keep Looking for Warren,
Dave
