Uplate is on almost on time tonight, which is really strange! Straight to the house and we see Trev, Ryan and Merlin on the couch talking about Fast and the Furious movies on the couch. Earlier in the evening they all got to watch the premiere of “The Day After Tomorrow.” Cut to Mike for our first uplate update. Back from that, the first teaser is underway. From that, we’re off to the kitchen where Wesley and Igor are talking. They are talking about Aphro and that first week and how she left etc…Krystal makes her way over there, and Ashalea soon follows. They soon are talking about going into the house on the first night. Wesley says he was stoked to find out he was the first to be introduced that night. This leads to lucky numbers, Krystal’s is 4, Wes likes 4 as well, someone else likes 6…They then go on to talk about how 13 can be an unlucky number and a lot of offices don’t have a floor 13 and stuff like that. Cut to the clue. Back to the couch now, where Bree, Terri, Trevor, Ryan, Kane and Paul are. Elle is in the DR, she comes out and Terri goes in. Elle returns to the bedroom. They talk about how they will all have to rewatch the shows when they get out. Bree says that Krystal’s mum is taping everyshow onto DVD, because she bought a DVDR thing when they found out she was going in. Cut quickly to the bedroom where Merlin is chatting to Catherine and Elle, but comm break cuts in too quickly.

Mike is back at 12:04am and has Anthony on the phone to win the cash. Back to the house now. Bree has joined the bedroom conversation with Catherine, Merlin and Elle. Bree says that when she wants something she is so determined. Merlin says he has never really failed at anything he’s applied himself too. Merlin says his life is awesome at the moment. He says he didn’t have any conflict or big thing before he entered the house, ie compared to Elle and her relationship worries. Bree says she was asking someone for a sign (god, although she doesn’t know if she believes in religion etc) as to where her life might be going. Within two weeks she knew she was destined to come into the BB house. 2 past housemates of BB came into her work on the one day. She says that was her sign. Bree says she thought she stuffed her interview audition process. She says she hadn’t got enough sleep, and the carpet in the place felt like it was moving. Catherine also thought she had bummed out. Mike cuts in for the clue, and we’re out to a break.

Back with Mike now and it’s straight to an uplate update. He then reads out a few emails. After that, we get to the kitchen. Wesley, Ryan, Paul and Trevor are at the table. Paul says he would’ve been pissed if he missed out on tonight – he felt the whole day was great with the snow in the morning then the movie tonight. Bree comes in. They start talking about skin. Bree says that it stinks in here – Ryan admits to dropping a couple. Mike has Milan on the phone, and he wins some cash. Comm break.

Back at 12:29am. He puts the third brain teaser up and goes through it. Back to the house now. Igor has joined the crew in the kitchen. The boys are saying that they only wash there hair once or twice a week. They are talking about hair loss and Igor thought about going for treatment, but didn’t end up doing it. Ryan’s old man did get it done though. Ewwww cut to the bedroom, Bree is peeling off her skin off the face. Not a pretty sight. They are talking about hairdressers and where they go, but BB keeps beeping it out. She is still taking skin off her face. Mike cuts back in at 12:37 and runs through teaser and gives the clue. The kitchen we go back to. Igor is talking about someone losing their hair. The father didn’t believe that the kid would lose his hair, and said if he has no hair in a year, I’ll shave mine off. The father had to shave it all off after the year. Ryan starts talking about “Mad Monday” (when the season is over and you all go and get smashed) with the Swans, naming Plugger, but the comm break cuts in.

12:43am Mike is back, going through teaser again. Uncut update now. Back to the house now. Krystal is talking about buying more coke or something in the future. Bree is looking at Krystal’s photos. Not much talk in the bedroom though. Mike cuts back in and explains the prank of the storm, then talks about Uncut. Another uncut update and then to a break.

Another winner of the money now on. Start the final game, but it’s back to the house now, the bedroom. They are talking of hair brushes, riverting conversation in here. Some reckon people can have too much chocolate, but some suggest you can never have too much chocolate. Trevor is in bed now. Bree gets into bed too. Elle looks damn cute at the moment! Krystal starts telling Bree that she was trying to convince someone that it was harder for people who live closer to home to not get cravings to leave and go home. For example, her real bed is only half an hour away, whereas Paul would need a plane etc. Also, whoever she is complaining about thinks that she will be shocked when nominated. Krystal says she won’t be suprised at all. Comm break.

Back again with Mikey G at 1:09am, and it’s time for another uplate update. Back to the bedroom, someone has stunk the place out! Bree is not happy at all. Lights go out. Mike cuts in and we go to another uncut update. Comm break follows. Back at 1:22am, and someone wins the last $1000 of the night. Another uncut update….Cuts to a convo between Ryan and Elle about Ashalea. Elle thinks that she really likes him, and that Ryan needs to be careful around her. It was on up late a couple of nights ago I think. Mike then goes on about the “3” mobile phones and the Virtual BB comp. Cut to the house finally, and Igor is talking to Ashalea. Igor can’t sleep. Mike comes back on and reads a few emails. And then Dreamworld says Goodnight.

This recap is purely from memory, as I felt sick last night and watched up late from bed. Plus this way, we can cut out all the references to the damn brainteasers etc :)

We go into the house and they are all in the bedroom; light is on. We soon find out that BB has told them that there is a severe weather warning issued for the local area and that they are being confined to the bedroom for their own ‘safety’. Bree is getting scared because her budgie is out on a balcony and might get blown away at her real home (lives on Gold Coast.)

Paul over the other side of the room doesn’t believe it from the start however. Actually none of the boys really do. Kane does a bit because he’s a local and he realises that it can be really calm up here and then banh, the weather changes very quickly. Krystal is a bit concerned about it as well, and well, Ashalea will believe anything.

While all this is going on, Paul talks to Krystal about how he thought she was a bit two faced the previous night when Aphro left because she started crying. Paul says to Krystal that she couldn’t stand her either half the time. Paul says he didn’t hate the girl, but he didn’t like her either, so why would someone cry? Krystal says she got caught up in the emotion of it all; all the girls cried, she felt she had too. She says quietly that they were put on a bit. Paul says he needs to talk to Elle about this as well.

During the middle of all this, BB plays some wind tracks and small thunder sounds into the house. This spooks the crap out of the girls. They get up to look at a skylight in the toilet to see if they can see any lightning. They can’t however. Lots of wind suddenly around now. Paul is absolutely loving it – you have to watch the daily show tonight, it’ll be very funny. Ashalea, Bree and Krystal are all in bed together now – I could say so much about that but I won’t.

Elle talks to Paul about her tears after the eviction last night now. She says they weren’t put on – she was genuinely upset that she had left. Paul says he could tell they really bonded within the last 24 hours, so he feels that the tears could have been real.

Lights go off now and everyone trys to get to sleep. Suddenly a huge thunder noise goes into the bedroom and absolutely scares the crap out of Ashalea. She says she has tears going down her face. Bree says that this isn’t funny. Paul is still laughing. The 3 girls cuddle up even more, but thats the end of fun and games from BB, and the rest of the show is filled with Mike reading emails, uplate updates and brain teasers.

We join the house straight from the credits, and Terri asks Elle who will be there on Sunday evening. She says she put down her family first, then some friends. She talks about some friends who live in Victoria and WA, before Mike comes on and says that Aphro will be on later. He runs through the brainteaser, and we go back to the house. Kane is saying that his family a regular churchgoers. He doesn’t go as often anymore because he tends to surf or stuff. However, he says he fully intends to go back to church when he gets a bit older. He says he prays everynight though. Kane talks about how he could go very well on the surfing tour, but he decided he didn’t want to do it. He says he played hockey a fair bit as well, as too running. He did a lot of sports. He is talking to Merlin thoughout this conversation by the way. Mike cuts in and plays the uplate update. Runs through the brain teaser after that, giving the clue, but then it’s back to the bedroom. Catherine is talking to Elle about her ex-husbands attitude to going into the house. She says he was good about it. She says that she wants to remain friends with him. She says to Elle that she doesn’t know about her relationship with her boy. A lot of beeps in this conversation to protect names I think, not swearing. Elle says that she told her man that she was going to go into the house no matter what he thought about it. Mike cuts in and goes to a pre recorded interview with Aphrodite. I’m sure we’ve heard it all before so I’ll bypass this. Halfway through they cut to a commercial break.

Back with Mike at 12:20am. Brain teaser is closed. Back to house, Bree, Ashalea, Trevor, Ryan and Igor are talking about how when they told a few peeps they were going into the house, everyone wanted to take photos of them just before they went in so they could tell everyone they knew them! Ryan says that Ashalea’s brother and sisters would be very popular in their school. Mike cuts in to give some woman the $1000 and they move on. Ashalea says she will be 20 in January next year. They cut away to the girls, Catherine, Terri and Elle. Elle says that Trev said that she is going to make her laugh. Elle says she is not ready to end – her personal journey isn’t over in here yet. Terri was so excited on Sunday night because of the crowd. She says she didn’t want to go, but she’s looking forward to seeing the crowd when she finally leaves. Voiceover cuts in with Elle’s eviction phone number. Comm break.

Mike is on at 12:33am. He’s about to launch Virtual Big Brother. You can register at the site. You need a 3 phone to enter I think….I dunno, go to the website for details. Back to the house now. Paul and Kane are talking about a local surf shop or something. They both know the same people or something. Again a lot of beeping through this trying not to get the people’s name. Cut to Krystal and there is a beep in the first 3 seconds, so Mike cuts in! He throws to an uplate update. Cut back to house but vision is on Elle and Wesley who say nothing before the comm break cuts in.

12:46 it’s Uplate back. Brain teaser #2 is closed. Now it’s the second part of Aphro’s interview. After that it’s Matthew from Victoria wins the cash. Game 3 starts now. Back to the house finally. Kane and Ryan don’t like the task. It involves a boat I think. Ryan says they’ll get the hang of it, but it’s very boring. Krystal and Bree are talking in bed next to each other. They are talking about pillows haha. BB decides wisely to cut to a break!

1am and we’re back. Runs through the brain teaser and gives us a clue. Back to the house. In the kitchen now, Trevor is over there, with Merlin, Elle and Ashalea. Ashalea pours the coffee or whatever it is. Merlin and Trevor have made themselves a late night snack. Elle says “Australia…please love me..” in a cheesy voice. Trev has 3 sugars in his milo haha. Mike comes in and they run a nomination highlights package. Back to the kitchen. Talking about something I have absolutely no idea….and one minute later it’s a break.

Mike is back at 1:13am and Jessica is on the line to win the cash. Back to the house now. Lights are out in the bedroom now, we’re with Bree and Krystal who are whispering. They are talking about the possibility of thermal camera’s I think. They say that it would only pick up 3 guys getting off. Bree says she is going to go to sleep, so they say goodnight and have a little kiss. Mike comes back on to throw to more of the nomination package. Run through the final teaser and we are back to the kitchen. Ashalea talks in Japanese and then says “Oooh I can’t do that!” Comm break.

Back again at 1:26am and back to the kitchen straight away. They are trying to find words with the most syllabels. Trevor has 2 words with 8. Ashalea has one at 8. Merlin has got one at 8 now, he’s excited. He goes for a walk around the garden. Merlin promises he will get one more before he goes to bed. Elle says that he’ll still be up when the water goes on. Trevor says he thinks he’ll go to bed. Ashalea gives another word with 9, but it’s not a word! Mike cuts in and goes through the trivia one last time. Cut to another uplate update. Trevor has gone from the kitchen, but Terri has arrived. Merlin is still trying to get another word. Elle is giving up it seems. Comm break.

Tanya calls in for the last $1000 cash for the night. She wins. Cut to another nomination package. Back to the house, Terri is saying it’s good to know that there are actually people watching the show (the cheers). She says she wanted a week off, but she didn’t get it. They talk about how people forget to not change the toilet roll. Merlin, Terri and Elle have all been on the toilet and noticed that there is no toilet roll. Mike cuts in and rounds up the show. Nite Mike, better tonight you were! Dreamworld says goodnight.

So it’s an ridiculous hour for up late to commence tonight at 12:53 – Claire is in Uplate Studio, and asleep. Thats about the most excitement we’ll get tonight too. Run through trivia straight away, and then we are told some people are up! Yes, Merlin and Aphro are still up.

In the kitchen, we join them, and they are saying something about trying it twice….Aphro says so you would try heroin twice? With that, Mike joins us again! Excellent BB, just what we wanted. Cut to a Uplate update. Try again we will. Merlin says where he grew up he only got one station, the ABC. He says that she will have to watch all the BB eps on tape. I thought his mum died – second wife I am imagining. Aph asks what his dad does. His dad runs a recycling company or something. He employs 15 people or so, he gets like broken dishwashers and does them up and gives them to people with no money etc. Merlin is very proud of him. Mike cuts in again. For god sake Mike, you’ll make me turn off very soon. Clue for the trivia, and then comm break.

Back with Mike at 1:08am. Trivia again, then back to the kitchen. Merlin says he feels like love is an emotion that you feel deep down, and that you don’t feel that depth of emotion until someone dies. He reckons he’s been to that depth of emotion when his mum died. Fine line between love and hate. He says he knows himself as a person very well. He says thats why he has such high expectations. Mike cuts in again…c’mon guys, don’t do this. Another uplate update. They look at the bedroom on the TV in the studio. Seems pretty quiet in there at the moment. Then they read some emails. Getting mad Mike. Then they go to a break….

BB comes back on about 1:24am – they talk about the royal wedding which is on at the moment. Much better than what this show is tonight. Woman on the line wins the money. Second trivia game starts up. Back to the house. Terri has made her way to the kitchen. Aphro is talking about jeans and buying clothes. Aphro says if you have no money you just rob little kids in the carpark and then go and buy them. They quickly cut away from that feed, to the bedroom, and then they go back. Aphro was working for Darling Harbour Hotel, and around the corner and went out to the ATM…and Mike cuts in again. Oh my god…if you can’t tell I’m pissed at Channel 10 tonight, then I’m gonna tell you i’m pissed! Go through trivia and then launch into more emails. Comm break.

Back at 1:38am with Mike and Claire in the studio. Mike shows a clip of Claire from the house. Anything but the house guys, shock horror if we go there. Finally to the kitchen, Aphro says she has lost Merlin in her therapy session since Terri arrived. Aphro reckons that Merlin is mysterious. I think Terri has gone. Aphro asks “What are you scared of?” “This is BB – Terri to the DR.” Something about medicine. Aphro went on to say “are you scared of liking someone.” He says he will answer. Merlin says he can’t tell her without telling everyone (meaning Australia.) Aphro reckons that he scares people in here – cause he makes them feel guilty. Aphro says you make people feel guilty for not loving trees! Merlin says people haven’t figure him out yet. Aphro says they won’t, cause they won’t take the time to get to know him like she is. Mike interrupts, and some guy wins the money. Back to the kitchen. I think they are trying to impersonate Big Brother’s voice. Merlin says that Aphro is trying to find a quick fix so she can understand him properly. Merlin says he has no secret or anything like that. He says he can’t relax when he’s in here. Aph reckons he should just relax. Comm break…

1:53am and we’re back. Go through the brain teaser and give the clue. Go to footage on Claire in the house again. Back to house again to the kitchen. They are talking about a Tom Cruise movie. Merlin says the girl in it are drop dead gorgeous. He says most girls he’s attracted to are out of his league. Aphro asks why they are out of his league. Merlin says something…which I don’t understand, and Aphro doesn’t either! Aphro says she goes for the guys who don’t get attention in nightclubs. Merlin says that the girl who falls in love with home no matter what he looks like. It’s a weak point he’s trying to make – makes no point at all. If people fall in love they don’t care (to a degree) about what they look like. Merlin says he was intimidated when they had the group photo outside just prior to entering the house. Aphro was like ‘what a mix!’ Merlin says he doesn’t have a license. Neither does Aphro…interesting. Aph says she has worked everyone else out except Merlin. Merlin agrees that others were easy to work out. Merlin says he is going to go to the bathroom. He gets up, and Aphro sits there and waits for his return. Mike cuts in, comm break.

Back at 2:09am and they go to an uplate update. Steve wins the third $1000 for the night. Last $1000 is up for grabs now. Back to the house we go finally. Merlin says she is trying to crack him, but it’s turning him back into a 14 year old shy guy, he wants to be 24. He says if you just flirted with him normally it would be fine. Aphro says she is taking the piss out of him. Merlin asks her what her favourite ice cream fflavour is. She says Hokey Pokey. Aphro says she has been testing him everyday but he doesn’t realise it. At this point, Mike comes back on. That lasted 3 minutes that little clip. It’s 2:19…they crossed to the house from the break (2:09am) at 2:16am. This is crazy. Comm break.

At 2:24am we’re back. Brain teaser and clue. Email reading time again….No, back to the house. Aphro says that Merlin’s problem is that no one has ever paid him a complement. Merlin asks how close she is to her mother. Aphro says she has a funny relationship with her, she says that when they go out people think they are sisters. She says Mum has done some things that have made their lives…..and we cut away to the bedroom. That’s enough for me, I’ve had enough of this crap tonight.
