Up Late for another week is here. Evening All! What a couple of days it’s been in BB World. Anyway, thats over with, and we’re back focusing on the housemates now, the people that really do make the show.

Great! Everyone is asleep! Awesome start to the week. Apparently they were all up really early this morning, thus that explains it. Mike comes on and tells us that there is heaps of stuff still to watch. At 12:08am the vision was lost for a whole one minute. When we go back to them Mike is reading emails about last night.

But because there is nothing to report, it’s time for call it a night.

So, I’m back after exams (well in my case, exam) and all that, ready to rock the house with Miriam….not literally, but you know! Starting later than scheduled tonight, because the earlier Miriam entering the house show ran late.

It’s 11:58pm as the credits roll. They seem to be in Miriam’s bedroom. Kane is putting makeup on Bree on the bed. Ash is around. Cut to outside, Ryan is over with the basketball with Merlin I think. Mike cuts in. He’s wearing basically nothing. He explains that Ryan is very confused at the moment! He starts the brain teaser. Back to the house we travel now. Cath is putting nail polish on someone’s toes. That would be Ryan. Maria is now helping Bree out with makeup. They seem to all be in there. Not good for listening because of so many people talking. Kane is doing Merlin now. Although it’s not really makeup, he’s drawing lines on him. Mike interrupts yet again. Comm break.

1:10am – Bree has just been in the bathroom and seen something on the toilet seat, Mike tells us. We go back to the action. Paul is having a great look through all her makeup lol. Half of them aren’t in the bedroom anymore. It seems only Ash, Terri, Catherine, Kane and Paul are around. Merlin wants to say something but is afraid cause he has two strikes. They have all come back in now. Ryan stole Bree’s drink. Here we go. Merls ask if she’s famous. She says she doesn’t now. Ryan asks if people in Australia know her. She says they do now. They move onto talk about Sarah Michelle Geller. Miriam knows her apparently. It seems they’ve dropped the other convo. Kane says they will leave if she wants to go to sleep. Half of them leave so she can sleep. Ryan is one of the first to leave. Wes is about to go too. Mike cuts in again, and tells us that we have a winner of the trivia after the break.

12:23am – Mike is back with Kylie who wins the cash. Second one commences. Back in the bedroom, Terri is in bed with her. Paul says goodnight. Bree has all these spots painted on her face, she doesn’t look as gorgeous as usual. Paul leaves the room. Bree asks what star sign she is, to which she replies Aquaries (spelling!). Kane comes back and says goodnight. They start talking about astrologicial calendars, and how they only go up until 2020 something. All rubbish if you ask me. Miriam starts talking about 9/11 or something and trying to link it to the bible and start signs. She’s got a strong accent this Miriam. Mike cuts in again, gives a clue, and it’s a comm break.

12:36am – Mike comes back on, and talks crap, and we go back to the house. Merls leave the kitchen. Trevor doesn’t think it’s a guy. Cut to Wes and Kane in the bedroom. Ryan joins them. Kane says it was funny when he farted. She shit herself Wes says. Ryan’s highlight was just the element of suprise. Ryan says if it isn’t, there has been an operation. Cut back to the girls, who are telling Miriam about the animals we have here. Merls has rejoined the girls. Merls asks her what she knew of Australia before she came here. Before she can answer, we go back to the boys. They say something is up because she went from Mexico to New York. They wonder where Merls is. Kane says he is going to sleep so well tonight. They say they’ve had 5 nights of drinking in a row, it’s been good. Kane says he doesn’t care that they have none for tomorrow. Mike says he’ll do something after the break, but I tuned out.

12:50am – Kim wins the next $1000. 3rd one is started. All the girls have come back to the main bedroom. Someone says she’s famous. Ash now believes that she is a guy. Merls says that he feels mean that they are talking about this or something. They say they won’t talk to her about it because she is only in her for one day. Bree says that for the task, she is marking it. She is going to tell BB the results. Ash says that she told her that she had a good body. Ash says she would love to have that much makeup. Ryan says there is a present under her pillow. Ash goes over and sees the other part of a head. I think it’s one of those things u hit and you have chocolate in it. Ryan says that in the diary room when they were all in there, you could hear the studio audience laughing. He says he hopes that everyone is not taking the piss out of them on the outside. He then says at least he has thought that she was a he from the very start. The girls say that she didn’t even salsa though. Mike cuts in with a clue. Comm break.

1:02am – Mike talks crap, and then we go to the bathroom. Bree says it makes no difference either way, but yeh. Terri has only just been told what the others all think. She says she would never have thought about it. Cath can’t believe that BB would put a trannie in the house. Bree says “Why has she got her own room.” Terri hits the nail on the head, but she is talking about someone in the hospital as a patient. She says she had a female body, but had male parts below. Bree says it would never be an issue, but they wonder why she is in here. They again say she hasn’t taught them any salsa. Bree says she thought it was Courtney Act from Australian Idol LOL, when she came through the door. Merlin comes in and asks them if his boxer shorts sit a little high. They say that they are. He can’t believe it! Kane gets up from bed and his boxers are up as high as anything! They start talking about how half her makeup is testers, Bree is getting more convinced by the second! Comm break.

1:16am – Mike is back. Patrick wins the third $1000 of the night. They cut to an interview with Miriam a little bit earlier. Back to the house finally. Bree says they are specualting cause they have nothing better to do. Merlin says he is finally committed, he believes she’s a he. They all say they will not say anything to her about it. Merlin says that he asked BB while he was in the DR doing his diary room. BB didn’t say anything. Ryan says that if they hadn’t have said anything to Merlin, he’d be none the wiser. Ryan says that he is just making the point that as soon as she walked in, he told the boys she is a bloke. Bree says she told Cath straight away as well. Comm break.

1:29am – Mike gives the clue for the last brain teaser of the night. Uplate update time. Back to the house we go. Lights are out. Trevor gets into bed, and so does Bree. It’s all very quiet in there. A few say goodnight. Someone farted, Ash wants to know who. Mike cuts in again, and although there is about 20 minutes left, I have to get some sleep, gotta be at work at 8am.

Because of our good mate Rove, BB Uplate is starting a bit behid schedule tonight. It’s 11:52pm when Mike welcomes us for another night. We join the boys and they are talking politics in the kitchen. Merlin, Wesley and Paul are there at least. Wesley saying that people won’t like the HEC’s fees going up (young people at least.) Merlin goes on about how the GST is bad because it affects low income earners moreso than high income earners. Wesley says that in the US they have lower tax rates, with 33% being the highest bracket, and thats for over half a million dollars. We could move there I suppose. Merlin cuts in and tells them that if they don’t have health insurance though surgeons will leave you to die on the side of the road and not help you. Paul says it’s how the world is going to become. Mike cuts in, and when we return, Paul is in the bathroom getting ready for bed by doing his teeth. In fact, Merlin and Wes are there too. Merlin says that that was a great conversation, and that they learnt a lot about people during it. They say they even learnt stuff about people who decided not to participate. Merls says that they could have heaps of cool conversations about religion. Paul says he wants to be left out of that one. Although he goes on to say he doesn’t believe in anything like that.When Wes asks what about his kids, he says that they go along with him now because they are young, but when they are older, he will let them make up his own mind. Paul later says “Thats what I like about you. Your educated and open minded.” Mike cuts in again, and tells us that they are going to go to footage from earlier in the evening shortly. But it’s onto the brain teaser first. They run the first uplate update. They go to earlier footage.

Can’t be bothered recapping that. I’ll write if something really exciting something. Otherwise, I’m studying for my exam! OK, Ryan says that there were many people protesting against the war in Iraq. He believe that there were twice as many who wanted to go to war. Merlin looks a bit stunned by that call, but doesn’t say much. Paul reckons had we voted on it, we wouldn’t have gone to war (Australia.) And just when it gets interesting, Comm break! Back finally to the discussion. Ryan says that the US would have voted to go to war. Ryan says that they got the man they wanted, Saddam. Paul says they didn’t, that the were after Bin Laden (OBL) and not Saddam. Merls says that OBL is a big person who was responsible for 9/11 and that the US glorified him too much, but Saddam was just a person that the US used as an excuse for a war for profit and oil. Paul says George Bush is a war criminal. Ryan says he thought they would find chemical weapens. Bree doesn’t understand what George Bush senior has to do with it, she thought that Saddam killed him. Paul says nah, he says that Senior couldn’t get rid of Saddam. He then say that Senior is probably still running the country. He asks Merls what he reckons, and he says he doesn’t think any of the Bush’s are running the country. He doesn’t know who is running it. Mike cuts in and they do the brain teaser. The guy got it wrong LOL. But Mike re-read the clue, then he got it, and they gave him the cash. Comm break.

Back again we go. Paul explains about the Bush family history with Saddam. Ryan says he had to be caught, and the only way to do that was to go to war. Paul says if the UN backed the war, he would back the war. He says thats why the UN was set up. He says if they had found chemical weapons, the UN would have supported it, and the world would have been behind the US. Ryan changes his tune and says they should have held off till the inspectors found something. Paul says that Iraq could turn into Vietnam. He thinks that the US can’t get out of there. He says they promised to restore calm to the nation, a promise they can’t keep because calm will never come over that country. He says they have no escape plan. Merls and Paul are very much together in their views on Iraq tonight, which doesn’t normally happen. Comm break. Interesting to also note that everytime Mike returns to the footage, he disclaims that these are the HM’s thoughts, and do not represent the 10 network in any way. Back from the break Ryan says it means soo much for our economy and to be an ally of the US. I think Paul was about to agree with Ryan on that point, but Mike cuts in after one minute….grr, comm break. Yes, Paul does agree, but he says if we had the balls to pull out he doesn’t think it would effect our relationship too much. Merls says that because each country are having elections later in the year, incoming presidents/prime ministers might have completely different views and the relationship could well crumble.

Hi All,

Uplate recaps might be a bit slim this week, Uni exam I’m studying for on Friday. But I’ll try my best.

Starts off with the guys in the kitchen dressed up like superheros. The task involves making Mardi-Gras type costumes for Friday, but the boys have decided they have plenty of time to make them, so they have just got the superhero costumes together for a bit of fun. Merls is asking if they reckon Aphro will be at the eviction on Sunday. None of the guys think so. Merls say Aphro said she would be at all of his possible evictions. He hopes she will be. The guys say if she promised, she’ll be there. Mike cuts in for the first time tonight, tells us who is nominated, whats going on with the task etc, before we head back to the house. Bree comes over and has her outfit almost finished. She looks AWESOME! The guys are very impressed. But still Merls wants to talk about Aphro. He says that perhaps Ryan nominated her in the first week. While not answering, Merls see’s the look, and starts laughing. Suddenly a few of them are saying ‘cut’, trying to move the conversation onto a different tangent. Not 2 minutes later, BB’s voice booms over. Merls panics, but it’s simply “Bree, your microphone!”. $10 down the drain, no one cares though, and Merls is relieved. Mike cuts in soon after, and goes through the brainteaser.

Back to the house, Merls asked the guys who out of people evicted would they like to see the most. Merls says Aph. Paul says Igor. Some of the guys are a bit suprised, but Igor it is. They say Ryan’s would be Elle. Ryan goes onto say that he only really liked Aphro near the end. Kane says it’s the same for him, he liked her in week one, but week two he really liked her.

Back from Anthony winning the cash, the boys are still discussing relationships in the house. Ryan says that the first week everyone thought that Ash and Merls would hook up. But Ryan says after a week he knew that Ash had no hopes. Merlin says he did nothing to egg her on. Ryan says that the guys in this house are so close. He says going into BB, he thought if he made a good friend or so out of this, he’d be happy. But he says the guys are all so close, he’ll be keeping in contact with everyone in the room at least. The boys agree. Ryan goes onto say that he reckons he’s not on the daily show that often, because Trev does the pranks etc, but he reckons that Merls, who he says has D&M’s with every housemate, will feature a lot in the daily show. Merls is a bit worried about this, being nominated this week. Bree comes in and has a white aphro on her head. She looks good. She says she is going to use it. Ryan asks if “Rootman” (his superhero) can wear it. Ryan gives us a hot tip! He says that the girls have nearly finished their costumes, while none of the boys have really started. Mike cuts in and gives us a clue for the brain teaser. Comm break.

Back now will Elle in the studio, but it looks very recorded earlier. Back to the house now, only Bree, Trev, Merls and Wesley are the only ones left in the kitchen. Bree is having some toast, and they talk about how the vegemite has gone down so quickly. They all suspect Paul. Bree says she hardly has any margarine, only on toast and mashed potatoes. Merls and Bree leave the kitchen, and Wes and Trev are there. Trev says he is humbled to have stayed in here so long. He says he can’t wait to leave now though, cause he misses so many people. They agree to take it as it comes. They realise they will be nominated at some stage. They say they will make week eight at least. Mike cuts in and tells people to stop calling. Back from the break, they’ll have someone on the phone.

12:32am – Marie is the second winner of the night. Back to the house, Merls is back in the kitchen. He says that one of the people nominated is the best person, he can’t believe they were nominated (I imagine Cath or Bree), and that if they are up, he understands how he can be up. Bree explains that it could only have been 1 point, because they have 5 people up. They say it’s no good thinking about it who nominated who. Merls says that people should vote according to who people nominate, they should vote out who the house want out. LOL. Bree says no way. They vote on simply what they see. Merls is implying that Terri and Paul should be well and truly gone. Merls asks whether they have wanted to take any nominations back. Bree says todays nominations she would like to erase. Trev says he would take them all back. He says he has only disliked one person in his life, he’s not been bought up to believe that they have to find faults in people. Mike cuts in with a clue for the brain teaser. Comm break.

12:45am – Now back to part two of the interview of Elle. Mike runs through some appearances the evicted housemates are making this week. Oh Aphro is in Sydney on Sunday night! Now back to the kitchen. Ash has joined them in the kitchen now. Bree and Trev have gone now. Merls asks Wesley how he would feel being the only guy nominated. Dunno what they are getting at, because Paul is also up. I dunno. They go through the girls, they can’t see anyone voting for Catherine. Merls says that she can’t believe she got nominated. Wesley says Terri has her b’day this week, so she will be happy a lot in the footage. And then they have Bree, Merls says she won’t go. Merls says he would be stunned if she went. Trev comes back and says he has visions and have got the last 4 right. Merls says has he got his vision for this week yet. Trev says he doesn’t know yet. Merls makes him shake on telling him if it’s him, or whenever he gets his vision. Trev says it’s normally the day or the night before. Trev says nite ladies, as he leave the kitchen. Wes says that Terri might survive again this week. Merls says that he can’t understand why the public haven’t voted her out, if she has been nominated 5 weeks in a row. Comm break.

Back again, and Mike is introducing the VBB weekly task for that comp. Now Marilyn is on the phone for the third $1000 of the night. The last game has started. Back to the house we go, and still the boys, Merls and Wes are there. Wes is going through everyone in the house wondering who the heck has voted for him. Apparently he got 8 votes! LOL. Haven’t watched the show yet. He says that he reckons 2 people have voted for him. He says if thats not the case, vote him out. Now he says 3 people max voted for him. Mike cuts in and tells us 4 people voted for him. Merls says he would hope that 2 people nominated you would be enough to get u up for eviction. But they say ‘we just don’t know.’ Merls says BB seems to be a lot strickter this week. Merls says that he is one of the last 4 not to be nominated. He says he is humbled, but he’s aware that he hasn’t been tested yet. He could go up next week and be gone straight away. Mike comes on and tells us that Merlin is ahead on the Internet eviction poll. But that poll has been wrong a couple of times now. Comm break.

1:12am – Mike goes through the clue for the final brain teaser. Now time for an uplate update. Mike tells us that during away, BB has told Wes and Merlin in the diary room that he will be reviewing the tape of their convo just before, and will get back to them.Back to the house, Merlin is making himself a drink in the kitchen. No one else seems to be there. In the bedroom, Kane goes to the toilet. Now Wes has joined Merls back in the kitchen. Wes says that he is fine with BB reviewing the tape. Merls says he would rather get a strike then a fine for this. Wes says that BB is fair, and they’ll be fine. Merls doesn’t think they were breaking the rules. Wes agrees. Mike cuts in and tells no one else to call, back after the break.

1:25am – Donna is the last winner of the night for the cash. The third and final uplate update now. Back to the living room, Terri has finished her costume. Looks ok. Ashalea is still there, although it doesn’t seem like she has done much. The guys (Wes and Merls) have joined them. They all think Terri’s is awesome. Terri asks the guys how much she needs to take her dress thing up. She gets them to safety pin it up or something. Wes says her Milo is still there. Ash says again that it looks wicked. Ash says she’s not tired at all. Mike comes on and says goodnight. Dreamworld says goodnight at 1:34am.
