Here’s George’s millionaire article

Read about his cashed up property portfolio

Well if we haven’t spoilt it for you already, George is the “millionaire” housemate. Don’t be angry, all of twitter already knows!

The big reveal was via this magazine article in Australian Property Investor, June 2012 edition – an interesting date given when auditions were.

The article explains that George has accumulated his wealth through investment properties, and after a few more developments he has the potential to be earning more than $20,000 in rent revenue per week. Most of his properties are in Newman, WA, where he can command huge rental fees due to the fly-in fly-out worker boom (for the time being, at least…) The article also talks briefly about his family and experiences growing up.

You’ve probably already seen this photo.

It’s spread like wildfire over the internet. At the time of writing, our post on the Behind Big Brother twitter account had been retweeted nearly 100 times, plus copies are cropping up all over the official Big Brother Facebook page.

George million

We don’t even know the full details about who originally took this photo – it’s spread so rapidly the source is hard to say. But what magazine is it from? The answer was actually tweeted during Tuesday night’s show:

George is 24 and has a net worth of $3.7 million.

Big Brother’s biggest secret… revealed before George even entered the house!

Estelle’s cringeworthy skater profile

"Hate for people who are gay"

Yikes. In 2012 you really need to lock down your online profiles if you’re going into the Big Brother house.

Our forum users have uncovered a profile for skater girl Estelle on a skateboarding website where she includes the information:

Hate for: People who are gay ( im so politically correct you will be afraid )

In the launch show she told host Sonia Kruger she “hates homophobes” and sits “in the middle” politically. We’re not sure if her profile is referring to gay people or simply using ‘gay’ as a negative term, but it makes for some uncomfortable reading.

Other details from her profile are below (we don’t know what it all means because we don’t speak Skater), plus some photos:

Name: Stell aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrr aka Stunner, stellzor, bella, Shooes, pointy
Resides: Country town out of Melbourne.
Most Likely Seen: Riverside or on a Horse.
Board: Aesthetics 7.65′ Clyde, Ventures and shit.
Age: 18 ( now 20! )
Height: 5’9ft
Hate for: People who are gay ( im so politically correct you will be afraid )

So much love!! For Suzi and my crew ? TMP!!! ? ( super mc old school lovin)

Celebrity Big Brother returns?

Official site gaffe, comedian's tweet removed

As the official site goes completely live this evening there have been a number of launch bugs – as to be expected with any website launch – but one particular gaffe has caught our eye.

At time of writing, the HTML title field for housemate profile pages reads “<Name> | Celebrity Big Brother | Big Brother Australia”.

Adding fuel to the fire, comedian Scott Dooley posted on Twitter over the weekend: “I’ve been asked to do celebrity Big Brother, I qualify because I’m an unemployed & not a celebrity.” The tweet has since been removed, but Google’s cache has a copy.

Australia has seen one season of Celebrity Big Brother before, back in 2002. D-list celebrity housemates included Red Symons, Anthony Mundine, Warwick Capper, Adriana Xenides and others.
