Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Especially. Italian, it does sound sexy and probably one of the reasons Drew was so enamoured with her. She's using all her wiles and sexiness to hook Ed. After seeing how she is on BB, does it make one wonder why her ex dumped her for a butt ugly chick!? He probably got more pampering, attention, and interesting conversations than she ever gave him.

I'm not disputing your observations but isn't there a possibility that Jade is having a go at 'playing the game' a bit? Isn't that what we always cry out for? ENTERTAINMENT folks ENTERTAINMENT.
I prefer being entertained by Jade attempting to seduce one, two or more innocent, fragile, mentally pubescent little boys instead of the loud-mouthed Heidi attempting to spread her hackneyed wisdoms in the hope she can make an impression on the HMs.

No, I don't believe monogamy is a prerequisite at all. I'm enjoying the entertainment as much as anyone else!
I was just trying to explain why, in my opinion, she has got some viewers offside.
Potentially her behaviour may be part of her game plan; there's really no way of knowing her true motivations I suppose. If it is her game plan though, it appears to be backfiring immensely.

Her Italian is interesting. I remember hearing it on Italia's next top model (I also speak Italian, half Italian like Jade) and it was so much worse back then. She's come far with it.

One thing I WILL say though is that Italian men are... er, stereotypically... not the most loyal. I wouldn't put that on Jade - you never know what he was like. He sounds like one of those macho glamour Italians from what she's said.

Lethal you are, indeed! :) I have just begun learning Spanish and can speak basic German.

You live in the perfect world... do they still hire? In my experience 97.3% of those who claim to speak another language are just dreaming.
But I'm open-minded, I do change my opinion and I'd like to believe you.

Your claim does worry me though. How come that if so many of us are multi-lingual, the majority of our politicians can't even speak English? ;)
 
Well I do work in a govvie dept so we do have a more multicultural work force. And you are probably right some of them just know bits and bobs I guess - not fluent

Got no answer for the politicians though!
 
it's human nature to have a go at the person who your bf runs off with though. even if she's not butt ugly. i can't remember anyone in the history of the universe to say "my bf dumped me for a beautiful woman with a heart of gold". we all exaggerate and hit where it hurts.

LOL if this seriously was for entertainment, she'd be my no. 1 housemate in a flash. Cause the things she says is pretty hilarious and being able to do all that with a straight face and a sort of 'I don't care what you think' attitude is something I'd give a person a lot of kudos for.
 
If only the things she was saying to Ed last night were made up, I agree she would be some sort of genius

Well hey, she's a good actress so who knows ;) But seriously, I have to laugh at the possibility. I think in some regards I'm warming up to her. My opinion changes. At first I liked her when she was "married" to Drew and I loved those scenes where she spoke in Italian. I think she's one of the housemates that has a bigger story to tell. Anyway, then I was unhappy at the way she treated Drew cause I thought they were super cute together in the first week - it's the reason I got into the show so much this year. Now I feel a little bit protective in the sense that I just want her to be able to mend the situation and tell her to not go to Ed or even Drew and do her own thing. Kind of like I couldn't picture last year without Estelle, just thinking if Jade wasn't on the show it wouldn't be the same. Synonymous with the idea above that "ENTERTAINMENT folks ENTERTAINMENT" :P I think she provides a lot of entertainment.
 
Jade is obviously one of those people that knows what they want and will try their hardest to get it. She wants Ed but he doesn't seem to want her, call her naive if you like but it will be up to her in the end to realise and figure things out for herself - not to let others tell her. It's Jades life and at the end of the day it's her choices. You people don't know her in real life so how can u judge? She doesn't know how audiences will react to her behaviour, this flirty behaviour might be completely normal for her in the outside world, why should she have to change for BB? She even said in her intro video for BB that she loves flirting and is a massive flirt herself so she knows what she's like!
And what did people expect?
Hot guys + Hot girls = FLIRTING
