Who even is Ryan?

Its his magic fedora didn't you know? look I said I got that mixed up but the other times he was there and we know theres a boys vs girls group with a pack mentality like Lina keeps mentioning

I don't think there is lol. It's been generated by lina and Priya. Ryan doesn't scheme about it. So people want to get to know him and like him. Doesn't mean he has started any gender war. Says more about his personality than anything. A genuine bloke that people draw to

I actually believe the females in the house have started the supposed "gender war" too. I have not seen ANY(footage) of the guys go out of their way to PLOT against the females in the house. The same cannot be said about the women. Ironically the women constantly bitching bitching bitching are just perpetrating the stereotypes they claim to loathe. Just shows me that neither Lina or Priya are "strong" women as they claim.

Hrm what have I seen in Ryan...

I've seen a lot of traits in him that I see in myself. I've seen that he has a dry sense of humour much like my own. I've seen that he cares for and loves his family very much. I've seen him be honest about the struggles he's faced with mental illness. I've seen that these struggles have bought him to the point where he is happy and confident in himself and doesn't need or want approval from others. I've seen that this confidence has been perceived as arrogance. I've seen that he's not ashamed of his intelligence, that he doesn't feel the need to dumb himself down. I've seen this refusal be labelled as condescending. I've seen that he doesn't seek out the limelight. I've seen that he doesn't need to be the centre of attention. I've seen that this refusal to play it up to the cameras has meant his storylines have been edited out in favour of the more 'dramatic' ones. I've seen that he knows he's not being shown by the way he teases with Sonia that she's forgotten to talk to him or that she's ignoring him. I've seen that even with this knowledge he hasn't changed who he is. I've seen that he's escaped many rounds of nominations, most notably in the beginning, not because he is boring or going under the radar but because most of the people he lives with actually like him. I've seen him be honest in the fact that he doesn't like or get along with everyone. I've seen him make friends. I've seen him make new friends when the old ones got evicted or when he learned more about that person. I've seen him lose patience with someone who is clearly playing an act. I've seen him call people names in anger or when blowing off steam. I've seen him accept that this is a competition, a game, that it involves nominating people you like. I've seen him recognise that he has threats in this game. I've seen him try to eliminate these threats. I've seen that although there's no doubt he wants to win he'd be happy for whoever did win. I've seen that both here and in the house people obsess over him - quite a feat for someone 'invisible'.

I want to like this 100 times.

Thank you so much for this! Xo

As much as it pains me to say Skye or Priya deserve the money. Skye has been entertaining and Priya has played the game. Ryan has done nothing besides start little cliques and bait people.

Last year Tim deserved to win. He played the game fantastically and was entertaining.
Only if you find attention seekers, clowns and bitches entertaining. But not everyone does. There are enough people like me who like the quiet and nice once.

Its true we didn´t see much of him in the first 2 weeks but as he said it takes some time for him to warm to people. I am the same so i know exactly how he felt. The first weeks you could tell that he felt really uncomfortable sometimes when he knew the camera was on him. I liked that. It was so genuine.

This is one of the best posts I've read on this site.

With the help of two newcomer boys Tom and Richard, he managed to create a boys club - whether or not this was actually his intention he managed to pull it off. While keeping them on side however, he managed to vote against them, but knew because of his "cool guy" persona none of his followers would dare to actually vote against him. Now here we are, Ryan is in the final 6 - not much personality revealed, but a heck of a lot of gameplay
The best manipulators don't signal their intentions.

I like him but have no real idea who he is, he's sort of a reserved likeable hipster. Would not surprise me if Ryan went to a private school & David went to a public school.

The thing is we know Ryan can be opinionated as we've seen small glimpses of it but the edit team either don't find him interesting, cant edit around his swearing or they think this is pointless because he will say his opinion then backtrack and turn whatever he said negatively into a positive and just becomes confusing which is already bad enough to construct a storyline around.

He can be smart & cheeky too. He's got the people skills to get away with things that others would be crucified for.

Didnt he make up the rap poem?
