I just imagine, "Have you seen one's big thistle brooch?" "No, not that one, the big one." "No, not that one, the really, really big one." "It didn't fit in any of one's jewellery trunks ... " " Have you seen one's big gold chain?" "No. Not that one, the really really long one with emeralds." "No. Not that one. That's yours. One's is a bit shorter and more silvery."
You really would have to live in a palace to find somewhere to store it all.
At least the queen doesn't need a lot of robe space for her shoes and handbags ... maybe she can't fit too many shoes in by the time she's hung up all the cloaks and hats and brooches.
