Last movie you saw

Yes it's the massive building that is the main feature of the grounds, I am on my teabreak and just took a stroll over there, they have renovated it beautifully, however the two bunkers/film studios behind it look a bit ugly.

Is that going to be in the old building? It's actually a beautiful building, glad to see it's going to get some attention.

Would have been better had that stayed with the hospital... But Rann has to have his follies ......

Just my 2c worth I can't stand Media Mike

I heard today through the grapevine that some of the new health infrastructure planned has been canned. I guess the bazillions they spent on the SA Film Corporation has blown the budget, however the good news is that Mrs Rann (whatever her name is) has an office in the new SAFC building.

This is the building about a year ago when it was run down and fine for Mental Health Patients and staff

This is the building now fully renovated, new everything inside full of executives and administration staff.

To the left is one of the film studios the old building to the right is the hospital chapel.

My ward is about 40 paces from these buildings, it's kind of bizarre being stuck in the middle of all of this, the patients from open wards wander around the grounds which was fine until today when the SAFC opened, I am sure fences will go up shortly.

Yes it's real, I noticed today it was running about 10 minutes fast, I thought I was going to be late back from my tea break.

Horrible Bosses

Omg funniest movie I seen in a long time, could surpass The Hangover! However if you are a prude stay away. Its non stop laughs, the 3 main guys Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis & Charlie Day have great chemistry and bounce off each other brilliantly, then there's the bosses.. Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrell were great but Jennifer Aniston was the standout, she was filthy in this and I loved it!

8/10

Cowboys and Aliens @ Subi ACE

Different.

There is a dog in it and I don't get why.

Looking forward to this. Comes out next week.

Although anything with Charlie Day is good.

Paul on DVD

I missed this at the cinemas cause I was sick and I'm spewing! its so good! once again Simon Pegg and Nick Frost outdo themselves, such a clever script, LOVED the ending and Kristen Wiig was hilarious in it too.

Only thing I didnt like is Seth Rogen as the alien Paul, kind of sick of his voice in everything would have been so much better if the voice was like Roger from American Dad lol

I watched Source Code again and something hit me.

You know maybe that the boss guy didn't want him to stop the bomb or save the train because it might actually also affect the primary universe that we start the movie off in.......

I get the feeling he either didn't want that to happen or was afraid of some other side effect of that, which we're not told about.

Also this felt like a chick flick dressed up as scifi like The Adjustment Bureau which I actually don't mind and like.

I really liked that movie too, he did a great job acting. Even with knowing the story, it was really suspenseful.

Yeah, I liked this movie.

I tried to watch Black Swan today.
Geezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......

A friend at work watched it last week and described it as dark and depressing, she didn't like it at all.

Cowboys & Aliens

Good film, I really enjoyed it. Honestly from some of the reviews i've seen of it, it's as if they saw a completely different film than the one I saw. Usually even if you are of a different opinion on a film, you can understand how or why a reviewer was of a different one. With this I don't get it? It was one of the best films of the 'summer.' Great caste, engaging, interesting, didn't sell you short on anything. One thing I have noticed is, I think people expected it to be silly, or embrace a big silly plot. Instead of playing it straight. Maybe people thought the title was silly, like "Snakes on a Plane" and so found it jarring when the film was played straight.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Another really good 'summer' film. Of course everyone already knows that.
It was quite well done, and really well made. It'd be pretty hard to have done this kind of story any better.

Horrible Bosses

I enjoyed this, it was fun and entertaining. Was looking forward to it, mainly because it has Charlie Day who is awesome on It's Always Sunny in Philedelphia. Good to start to see those guys have some success outside of that really good show. Although it's always a worry that it'll bring about the end of it sooner. Although there'll still be at least 3 more seasons including the one about to start. So all good.

The Next Three Days

This came out end of last year but I just watched it on Blu-ray. I quite liked it. Basically Russel Crowe is Married to Elizabeth Banks, she gets sent away for Murder. It gets into a man trying to break out of jail his wife once all appeals are spent as he's sure she's innocent. It's better than it sounds, and not a conventional break out of jail film. What I liked about it is, that you never knew what was happening next. Which made it quite entertaining.
Under rated film this.
