OMG The comments on Jade's facebook are disgusting. And meanwhile Ed is liking bikini pics of other girls.... Yep Ed, you're a gentelman...
Meanwhile, Jade is copping so much abuse on her last FB picture about Ed (the pic is of food - nothing to do with Ed), that her mother has posted telling her to ignore them. Her mother rarely ventures into the public. Poor Jade
I have never understood the logic of liking a page just to throw hurtful comments at someone. Those two chicks giving Jade shit about Ed, her weight, her mole, etc, are the two foulest mouthed people I've seen on FB in a while and that's saying something. I feel sorry for anyone who is so nasty inside that they would make comments to deliberately hurt someone that is so genuinely lovely and sweet.

Cherie Tosic Omfg all I asked is if she and ed are together and everyone gets defensive it actually says a lot. Other ppl are insecure about their relationship and start saying oh it's no ones business and they are keeping it private.
They are keeping it private for a reason coz she will be embarrassed to let ppl know it didn't work. And Ed is too sweet to plaster it everywhere to hurt her (even though she's easily hurt) they went on big brother for the country to see them I doubt they care about privacy.
If she hates my questions or comments she can block me and for all you fucktards if you don't like what I say that's your problem.

lol. I'm thinking no, because one can't post a picture without people asking where the other one is. I like them well enough together, but did I miss where they had this wonderfully, romantic, epic love story? Perhaps I got the edited BB feeds.
Ps, I hope she stops reading the FB comments. It serves no purpose. I get why she has to have one, but blah, she shouldn't even visit it. As per usual, girls are the ones with the most vile comments. Sad.
You know this has gotten me thinking in the whole few days: The entire basis of Jade's attraction to Ed initially was because she thought he was a gentleman. She said that she didn't think that guys like him existed anymore, and I'm sure a lot of that was fuelled by the ridiculous and totally inaccurate "Prince Charming" label that Heidi and co gave him. He proved in the house that he was the furthest thing from a gentleman when it came to the important things. He let her cop so much crap over her feelings for him (when he was never truthful with her) and he never once defended her but instead laughed along with everyone throwing crap at her. The one time he did defend her (when Tim and Drew nominated her) he was being a complete hypocrite and I think that had less to do with defending Jade and more to do with putting Tim and Drew down to the audience. Now on the outside she's still copping the same hate for the relationship (but now from crazies on social media), and his response? Follow a bunch of models/strippers and like bikini pic after bikini pic.
Yep...real gentleman there. I really wonder whether Jade's original reasons for liking him still stand. I'm not even saying that Ed is all that much of a bad guy here, but he's certainly no prince...and guys like him certainly do exist. They're the norm not the exception (like I think Jade thought/thinks Ed is). I respect her decision to do whatever will make her happy, but she really can do so much better it's not even funny.

I never venture onto the HMs FB pages and those 2 post above is exactly why. Now I am not the best with grammar and spelling, but I do try my best to seem like I can spell and use grammar correctly. Why do people feel the need to shorten their words on FB? and not use ' and , correctly? You are not limited to 140 characters like you are on Twitter.

If I were Jade or any other of the HMs I would get a friend or family member to read all the FB comments/tweets and just let me know of the positive ones.

They guys who I have meet and would classify as a gentleman almost always do not look like Ed. Sadly the nicest guys I know I am not attracted to at all.
EDIT: I am not saying that Jade is shallow.
So, so true. Unfortunately they're the never the guys that look like Ed or Drew. I can understand Jade being taken with him thinking she'd found a rarity (gentleman in an attractive package), but I think we've had enough time to realise that he's actually the furthest thing from a gentleman. What's the point of having someone who opens doors for you if they can't even stand up for you when others are making fun of you?
@Inigomontoya honestly, whenever I do visit Jade's FB page, I block any stupid people. I'm not interested in the negativity. I hate that her mom had to even read the crap. But, her comment made me believe Jade is reading. See, I think none of her friends and fam should read it, because it's too hurtful.

She was with a guy who wasn't nice to her, so the first guy to open a door for her, she completely blew the gestures out of proportion. COMPLETELY!! That is what I said before, you don't need to throw everything of yourself and pin all your hopes on the first person that shows you something new. Trust, Jade's definition of gentleman and Prince Charming is going to change. As someone who likes Ed, for the most part, he was nowhere near PC. Jade, as we all tend to do when we've met the right person, will look back and see he didn't earn all the praise she threw on him.

There are many of us who just wish it was over, and could be moved on from. I can't speak for others, but I don't like Ed and have never trusted him (although at times I have felt sorry for him), but was prepared to tolerate him if he was with Jade and she was happy. However the more time passes, the more sleazy and weak-willed he seems to me.
FB seems to be the worst social media format for Jade (maybe for other HMs, I don't really look) - the ferals just go wild there and are still obssessed with Jade/Ed on both of their FB pages. Instagram isn't as bad, but there are those that still won't let go of them as a couple. Even with his last photo of him holding a baby, someone has tagged Jade, and others on FB have pushed the 'Jade and Ed would make nice babies' angle. Twitter seems to be the best behaved platform
OK I wish I hadn't gone to that FB page now - talk about vicious. I don't know what's wrong in their own lives that it makes them feel good being so hateful to someone like Jade. It's not like she's on there posting negative things and people are retaliating, She doesn't deserve ANY of that shit. Couldn't help posting a comment and also a supportive comment for Jade's mother.

You guys might not like to hear this, but during the last few weeks of BB I had to fast forward through all of Jades scenes when she mentioned Ed, I just could not handle it. Yes she fell for him hard and yes it seemed because she thought he was this "Prince Charming" person. But because I had been watching and had made my mind up on the type of person Ed was, I just could not bear to watch sweet innocent Jade acting like some love sick puppy.
[MENTION=35381]Gemini[/MENTION] Ed opening up doors for Jade is a learned behavior, most regular guys will do things like that, but that does mean they will make a good partner or stand up for that person. Eds whole BB person was all for show.
I know that Jades manager or whoever they are has posted here a few times, so Jade must be aware of this thread, I hope she knows that there are people on here who really like her and wish the best for her in the future.

Totally agree. I certainly think the crap she said she went through with her ex (who she'd only just broken up with) was a major factor in how strongly she fell for Ed. I also think her perception of what a gentleman/Prince Charming is will change dramatically at some stage.
I found it harder to watch the harder she fell for him. Not because she was doing anything that I couldn't understand, but more because I had this sinking feeling that the further she fell the more pain she was heading to when the idealised image she'd formed of him as a loyal gentleman was crushed (and it happened in pretty much the worst way possible during the Halloween special because it was public and she had to listen to the "I told you so's" coming from Tim and Drew).

This is why I don't let my son have Facebook - can't stand the thought of how easy it is for people to be hateful like social norms are suddenly obsolete.
And I know - what's she done to deserve that? It was making me angry so I had to close it.

As we saw during the show, Facebook is a vile cesspool of hatred and nastiness, coupled with a dropoff in reason and rationality that leaves those who are not prone to such behavior wondering where the hell society went wrong.
