Indeed it is my problem that I find that I find it peculiar that a man who spews hatred is banging on about how his creater will judge others, the lack of insight is astounding.
1) I don't spew hatred, and to remind you of another of your slanders, I don't have "sick beliefs" either.
You, on the other hand, have made it plain that you've chosen subjectivity as the main foundation for your truth and morality and the filter by which you view life, the universe, and everything. This certainly gives you the freedom to declare what is and isn't hateful but the reality of it is that, because you have chosen to embrace subjectively determined truth and morality over objective truth and morality, your measure is both flawed, unreliable, and ultimately will turn out to have not even served you very well, let alone anybody else.
Your chosen subjectively determined truth and morality may well make it easy for you to claim others "spew hatred" and have "sick beliefs" but objective truth and morality trumps subjective truth and morality and you are unable to objectively justify your claims.
What is more, even when it comes to subjective truth'n'morality vs subjective truth'n'morality and before the kind of smack down that objective truth and morality brings, surely it is hypocrisy to think that your own subjective truth'n'morality is more valid or more moral than that of the next person ?
Anyhoo Eliza I don't have sick beliefs and I don't spew hatred and so I would thank you to not attempt to try and slander me in such (and similar) ways again in these forums. That said, I am also quite happy to publicly discuss with you that which you have chosen to currently deem "sick" and "hatred" so that, using an objective measure (IE, the handbook wot Our Creator has provided for us all), we can come to proper terms and discover what is and isn't sick and what is and isn't hatred, etc.
So, which alleged "sick belief" would you first like to examine and discover is far from sick, what what alleged "spewing of hatred" would you first like to dissect and discover has nothing in common with hatred at all ?
I'm ever game to have my views and beliefs publicly put to a "trial by bible" in these forums ... how about you with yours ?
2) If you bothered to read my posts rather than merely assuming the contents (and thus typically getting it wrong) you would notice that I don't exlude myself from God's judgement. For example, note the word "our" in the following requote:
Come judgement, surely the likes of those punished @ Sodom & Gomorrah will fair better than these more modern generations and our wholesale slaughter of millions upon millions of unborn children !
That so many people appear to no longer see/realise the evil of it only helps reveal the need for Heavenly intervention.
I wonder how much longer it will be before our Creator declares "Enough ! This far and no further ! Repent or perish !" ... and basically finishes of fulfilling what He started to read when He stood up in the Synagogue and read from Isaiah around 2000 years ago.
Did you look up what Yeshua read out loud from Isaiah all those years ago ? Did you note just where He stopped reading ? Did you then read on and discover what He is yet to complete ? Did you then realise that it will affect us all, that we are "all in this together" (as I wrote the other day and included a trailer to "under the dome") and that I'm basically longing for the day when our Creator returns to put humanity back on track again in person and it certainly doesn't preclude a kick in the bum for me ?
Also, anyone who has a basic knowledge of ancient texts would know that:
1) Judgement starts at home, IE, with those who are called by His name first ... the book of Revelation in particular details His message/view/more than slightly miffedness with the various kinds of "Churches" that parallel the way things were at the time of writing, right through the ages, to these "modern" times that are surely closer than ever to the return of Yeshua who shall complete the rest of what has been long promised, long required, and arguable, long overdue.
2) That I regularly express the biblical view that "we reap what we sow", which is obviously a blanket statement that in no way excludes me.
3) That it isn't unreasonable or illogical to infer/think that folk who choose to do what God deems to be evil but who are also ignorant of What God Deems, may well be judged by a different measure than those who are well aware of what God deems to be evil but choose to do it anyway. Feel free to read into that whatever you like if it makes you feel any happier.
The basic gist of all that is that I'm of the firm view that we ALL shall be judged and that the outcome of that may well be more severe for those who "knew better but did it anyway".
As for these forums and members, I regularly express the view of "our life, our choice" and share how wonderful the gift of free-will is; that we are free to choose to do good and that we are similarly free to choose to do evil. I've also pointed out from time to time that if even our Lord and Creator is somewhat unwilling to interfere with the rights of free-will, then we should be careful in that regard too ... or words to that nature.
No one is required to read, let alone like, anything I choose to write. Neither reading nor not liking it doesn't make any of it "sick" or the "spewing of hatred" either.
Anyhoo, to finish off this particular missive, here is a bit of objective truth and one that is linked in my sig to three different passages in the ancient texts.
"It shall come to pass that all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"
At the end of the day, perhaps that single thrice repeated promise will turn out to be the most tangible bit of objectivety for those caught in an unpleasant binding of their own choosing (cause and effect and all that).
In short, a life-line for the lost ?
As for me, I've been sitting on my verandah since around 8am with the sound of a small town slowly waking up, the sound of an artificial small-brook trickling into the frog ponds, and everything from the verandah through to Mount Brown shrouded in morning mist . As I've typed the mist has fallen in tiny tiny drops as the morning sun has chased it all away and cut through to warm my legs and allow the smell of log fires from all over town to reach me.
Ahhhhhhh, another great day that I'm thankful to still be here to enjoy and thank our Creator for.
May the day for you lot be at least as nice ... and as peaceful as you both want and need.
[ADIT] ahhhh++ LSCP has arisen at long last. Time for a cuddle in the sun and a cuppa I think ?
