In The News

The attack on the Jewish community at Bondi Beach yesterday was horrendous. It was father and son who went on the shooting rampage. Absolutely heart-breaking to see it unfolding on the news last night - and so close to home.
The man who grabbed one of the shooters and disarmed him, was so brave.
Again I know people caught up in this, like I did the Bondi Junction stabbing.

An absolutely horrendous start to Hanukkah with family and friends just wanting to celebrate.

My deepest condolences to the Jewish community and any other people caught up in this senseless attack.

The guy who briefly stopped the gunman should get a medal for bravery and "Australian of the Year" award. Other brave people who gave first aid deserve recognition too.

I'm sorry to hear that people you know, were caught up in this tragedy, Feb.

Thanks DOTTI.
Unfortunately it was members of the same family. At the Bondi Junction stabbing it was a friend of ours who was there with her husband and young family who had just been out shopping. They were severely traumatised for months. Yesterday it was this girls young sister. She was going for dinner at Bondi Beach. She's a nurse, and when it all broke out she had to go to the hospital the help the wounded. I've heard this morning she is now severely traumatised too.
People witnessing these atrocities first hand must wear the scars for a long time - if not forever. Let alone those running for their lives, scared out of their wits.
It's hideous!
