BBUS - Season 25

Must say this multiverse twist has worked quite well for BB25. Not only well cast but twists seem to be good too - and they're embracing a bit of fun too. Indeed although I saw one of the double evictees returning coming a mile off I've no idea how the week will play out for once.
Jared is really stupid.

He took his mic off while still in the house before walking out the door, forcing production to show some house footage (which presumably wasn't planned so they could shoehorn in a brief interview) while they scrambled to figure out how to get him mic'd up quickly - only to hand him a handheld one and then ran out of time so Julie just had to pretend that there was never going to be one.
That didn't come across as the case to me. They always have to go back briefly to the house as usually the house mic has to be switched out for a studio mic. I just assumed they gave him a handheld mic because it would be a brief exchange.

No word on how the resurrection will take place - guessing not a viewer vote and hopefully not a housemate vote. Will likely be a comp - might be more interesting if the others compete and winner makes the decision, though knowing producers it would probably be a quiz on Cirie's time on Survivor.

They always have to go back briefly to the house as usually the house mic has to be switched out for a studio mic.
Pretty sure they usually just use the house mics for the eviction interview. There wasn't a single shot of the house when Cameron walked out - in fact they didn't even cut away from Cameron being on-screen for even a second from the moment the walked out of the house until they cut to a shot of just Julie midway through the interview.

The way they've implemented this does seem to have rendered this week and last week all a bit pointless - would have been better to resolve who was returning sooner or at least have the regular game not take a break for a week too. This is where they suffer not having a house where they can build in secret "bedsit" style areas - Jared and Cameron together alone for a week could have been quite interesting.

So the resurrecton battle back begins with a three part competition between Jared and Cameron, the winner of which then decided whether to play in a final resurrection competition Kirsten style where if they win it they stay and if they lose it their opponent stays.

This being BBUSA the week is already all but complete and...
Cameron has won the three part competition

Jared getting even less and less likeable. So dumb he didn't think the two people he lied to and argued with might want him out. One of my least favourite housemates in recent years.

Cameron on the other hand just sitting back and letting bygones be bygones.

Oh he sucks. So bad. Why return to the house and start arguments? If your goal is to return and do well then why the fuck are you perpetuating the negative opinions. He truly is one of my least favourite BBUS players ever.

And god damn this show for making me dislike Cirie slightly. She herself is much more on the moral highground than she likes to admit. Having Jared in there is so bad for her game.

It’s a shame really, I was super excited to watch her, but I’m loving watching the others band together now. And they are all mostly likeable which is a positive.

As much as this twist is annoying since we could have actually lost Jared for good, it at least delays the jury phase till even later and I really do enjoy this cast so having we many as possible late in the game is fun. But this twist is kind of stupid, I wish they just did the resurrection comp entirely in the last episode.

Hoping Cameron returns!

I assumed that resurrection comp was three different comps, like the final HoH usually is, but no - it's one comp split into three phases - with no real advantage gained from the first or second phase.

Really don't get the structure of this week too - losing the format and leaving the HMs to their own devices has been a bit dangerous as when they're not playing the game they're at a bit of a loose end. Also no reason the Tuesday episodes couldn't have started this week - it's only various versions of FBI being repeated so considering they drop one from next week no reason that couldn't have happened a week earlier.

The return all fell a bit flat too.

You likely all know there's an Aussie in this BBUS season... Bowie... she seems ignorant of where she is, what game show she's on, and of anything else happening in the house... her hair buns, appropriate, maybe, for a 3 year old, are very annoying, but let's see how far she'll float :)

I'm not sure even Bowie knows she's in the house, never mind anyone watching. It's her birthday this week - she's actually 46 but pretending to be 11 years younger in the house which to be fair I don't think anyone has questioned.

She's a shoe in for second place as nobody has a reason to evict her.

Good god... That HoH... 😂

I don't know what was funnier - Bowie Jane presumably trying to throw the competition and putting in no effort to hide it with an answer of 27 minutes when she knows that Jared was a Zombie for multiple days or Felicia not being able to do the simple equation of 60 x 60 and then just pulling a random number out of her ass and locking in an answer of 34 days.

Oh, so a flip actually happened for once. Shame for MeMe - I liked her but we just saw nothing of her. Actually interesting to see Bowie win HoH (nice they did it within the live show for once - is a twist planned for Sunday?).

I’m super happy meme went home, she was way too passive. And losing Felicia pre jury would have been abysmal. So far the people I want to leave on eviction night have mostly been going.

Bowie Jane winning HoH was not on my week 10 bingo card at all.

For the first time this season Cameron has avoided being nominated without needing a HoH win.
Well that aged poorly lol.

Now that we have officially made it to jury
and that Camron is going home this week seemingly
I think it's going to be a way more flip floppy end game now. Suddenly Blue, Cirie and Felicia seem to be a group, America and Cory are their own duo, Jag and Matt are their own duo and Bowie Jane is just kind of doing what she feels like at the time. I do not remember the last time a season was so fluid and not just this side vs that side.

Based on the feeds it seems Matt and Jag have this in the bag, and Matt has a very easy path to a win with no one else really coming close in my eyes.

Yes, agree with that. Sending Reilly then Hisam home so early really broke up the initial big alliances and it does feel like everyone is playing for themselves.

I still wouldn't quite write off Cameron if they wise up to Cirie. They'll certainly be an attempted flip as there seems to be every week, though it'll probably come to nothing. If the duos notice a trio is forming though he has a chance.

Yeah I agree on Hisam and Reilly going home early did the season good. New alliances are constantly being made and broken.

Cirie seems very comfortable, since she has blue and Felicia almost certainly keeping her, the power essentially lies within the duos.

America and Cory probably have more power with this vote than the others like to admit. If Jag and Matt decide they want Cirie out then they are going to need their two votes to send her home.
