IIRC Brooklyn follows Aaryn on IG and theyâre both involved with pageants. Saying theyâre âfriendsâ is pretty subjective.Sounds like I'm not missing much reading through this thread. The only other thing that I know about this season is that they cast a friend of former houseguest (and still current racist) Aaryn Giles. Someone named Brooklyn.
Can't say I'm feeling FOMO at all.
Youâre not wrong about the HoH comp being shifted to Sunday but I do think the AI Arena comp at least adds something to the eviction besides the eviction. Not sure on the intro - last years was much better and probably fitted the AI theme better.
So America's Veto allows the holder to save a nominee and have America name a replacement. Deepfake HoH is the chance to be HoH but then have "Ainsley" deliver the nominees. And the AI Arena is a competition in the live show where they'll have three nominees and one is saved just before the eviction vote, which at least does mean we don't go into evictions knowing for sure who is going home but sadly means the HoH Comp is being kicked out of the live show to feature on Sundays, which has been increasingly the case in recent years anyhow but not something I'm a fan of as do think the next week is set up much better knowing who the HoH is.
IDK for me itâs refreshing to see someone playing from a purely emotional emotional place. That said despite her emotional gameplay she did in fact make an extremely strategic move targeting men and in Matt a potential physical threat.Angela is vile - giving me Roxeanne Pallet Vibes and the "Crazy Eyes" insult shows her real side. Worst case of HoH-itis ever and Paloma levels of paranoia.
Can America's Veto be used on the replacement nominee too?
AI Arena has made things a bit less predictable though the bit after it was a bit of a mess - imagine they'll drop the live campaigning next week.
I said nastier side not outright nasty⌠IMO the whole thing played out in a humorous and over dramatic manner. And letâs be honest she wasnât wrong he does have eyes that tend to budge out and look a bit âcrazyâ.So nasty is fine if it's entertaining?
Personally I found it entertaining. For me, Angela came across as so crazily unhinged and deluded that whatever she says isnât even remotely taken seriously by anyone. It was nasty, but sheâll eventually pay for it as it was a horrible game move.Would be interested to hear @Zcsund1234âs perspective on this. IDK maybe I am making excuses simply because I was entertained by Angelaâs antics this week![]()
Oh by no means is she winners material and totally agree this has without a doubt made her an easy target. I just donât see why some are clutching at pearls, trying to make her actions out to be more than what it was. IMO itâs equally as ridiculous as those who called BB23 the most âracistâ season.Personally I found it entertaining. For me, Angela came across as so crazily unhinged and deluded that whatever she says isnât even remotely taken seriously by anyone. It was nasty, but sheâll eventually pay for it as it was a horrible game move.
I donât agree with what she did to Matt, but sheâll continue to do it to anyone else (such as the fight that supposedly happened between her and Lisa that the feeds keep cutting whenever mentioned) and it will be entertaining to watch. Sheâll eventually lose in the end if she lasts, or sheâll go relatively soon. But sheâs such an entertaining villain that is at least bringing a character driven storyline over a strategy based one. I for one can appreciated it as entertainment just like I did with Keeshaâs birthday.
Reality tv fights may be trashy, but theyâre undeniably entertaining when theyâre good.
Matt opened the door to becoming a target. IIRC it was Kenney or Lisa until he opened his mouth and told Angela to bring it.I think she just pigeon holed Matt for what he looked to be. And in some sense she wasnât 100% wrong, was she? Matt is an archetype that sticks out like a saw thumb and he didnât do a great job at managing the threat level either.
