And me!!!My game has gone to pieces after losing Samuel. Last season myself and @Fiona got a huge boost from tipping Jericho every week, but not much can save me now.
Jericho was my sweep and I stuck with him. Impressed that you remember that I picked him.
That is very nice of you @timmydownawell ........and if it gets too messy forget it, we all of us really appreciate all the work you put in that makes it lots more fun.
Query, do you get points for every time you put the actual winner down as your weekly winner choice, across the whole series???
I kind of missed that, thought you only got points for picking the right winner at the end.
@Affable suggested it. It was something I'd put in the 'too hard' tray previously but I'm just giving it a shot this week and I'll see how messy it gets. Would be better if the show aired on Mon+Wed or Mon+Thu, but at least they have stuck to two episodes a week this year. It's kind of a test run.
On your second point, yes, you accumulate 10 points for each of your successful Overall Winner tips at the end. Meglos, Fiona and I did rather well from Jericho from that last year, improving our respective positions quite nicely.
Oh, BTW, by 3pm I mean 3pm AEDT.submit your tips by 3pm Monday
Do you mean AEST?Oh, BTW, by 3pm I mean 3pm AEDT.
There are 2 posters who so far have tipped Shane 6 and 7 times, so if she does win they are going to get a big boost, one from right at the bottom!
Ahhh yes let's go with AEST. They have been tricky this year with daylight saving. Something I saw earlier suggested DS starts this weekend but apparently it doesn't. Oops my bad.Do you mean AEST?
Cool, I was a little confused when I googled AEDT and found it was an hour later than the current Melbourne time. Apparently Daylight Savings starts next weekend.Ahhh yes let's go with AEST. It does. Not my favourite time of year.Cool, I was a little confused when I googled AEDT and found it was an hour later than the current Melbourne time. Apparently Daylight Savings starts next weekend.
Why is that?It does. Not my favourite time of year.
It's unusual because DS normally starts on the Labour Day weekend, which also has the footy finals. But for some reason this year it's starting a week later. I always thought it was a ripoff finally getting a long weekend only to lose an hour of it, tbh.Cool, I was a little confused when I googled AEDT and found it was an hour later than the current Melbourne time. Ha! Ripped off an hour! It's unusual because DS normally starts on the Labour Day weekend, which also has the footy finals. But for some reason this year it's starting a week later. I always thought it was a ripoff finally getting a long weekend only to lose an hour of it, tbh.
