Having acknowledged his existence in her life as a mate, she can now be seen with him
 
I'm just happy she's making friends if she's moved to a new city. It can be a lonely time moving to a new place when you don't know anyone (like Mikkayla is discovering). I know Jade went to school in Sydney but I'm assuming she probably lost contact with most of her friends (other than her best friend) since she lived in Italy for 4 years after that.

She went to school in the Southern Highlands, but maybe some school friends may have migrated up to Sydney.

I moved to Perth from Sydney a long time ago, and it can be very daunting when you don't have people you share a history with and have to build new relationships. CH and Jade seem to be on the same wavelength in terms of health, fitness, lifestyles and ambition and determination. Whatever their status, I think he will be a great and supportive person to have in her corner

Oh thanks! For some reason I thought it was Sydney from back when she posted that pic of her visiting her school. I wonder where exactly she's living in Sydney.

I know - me too. It's really hard to tell. Apparently the Barry photo was taken in Carnes Hill, which is near her aunt and uncle's place somewhere near Liverpool (I think) and her PO Box, but then she pops up on the northern beaches a lot. She racking up some mileage if she is living with her aunt and hanging out with CH

I am proud of her. She is doing everything she can to make her dreams come true. I wish I had the guts to do that at her age. She is actively representing the image she wants to portray - healthy and active.
 
She is hardly going to call him anything more than a mate, but even if that's all they are, I am happy for her. After that small article in the Sunday Telegraph, I'm not surprised she showing her friendship with Dan. Good on her. She has nothing to hide.

As someone that's driven to and from Liverpool a lot (my aunt, uncle and cousins also live there) that drive is an absolute bitch. I hope she has a tag for the M5.

Agree that mates is a good start. I married my best mate. Great believer in mateship. I am a mateshipper :)

I seriously don't understand how people can think Jade is an insipid little thing looking for a man to save and protect her. Yes, she isn't loud and extroverted and that may not appeal to some people - but this girl has guts, positivity and determination and a very strong work ethic. That is apparent in how hard she worked after hours while at school, to persevere to finish school, to head off overseas, take on Italy's Next Top Model and have the backbone to to stand by her principles and leave it when she realised it wasn't for her, establish a successful modelling career - and then to start again from scratch back in Australia.

This girl is no shrinking violet - she embraces her dream, faces it's challenges, and just gets on with working toward it without compromising her values
