Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I seriously don't understand how people can think Jade is an insipid little thing looking for a man to save and protect her. Yes, she isn't loud and extroverted and that may not appeal to some people - but this girl has guts, positivity and determination and a very strong work ethic. That is apparent in how hard she worked after hours while at school, to persevere to finish school, to head off overseas, take on Italy's Next Top Model and have the backbone to to stand by her principles and leave it when she realised it wasn't for her, establish a successful modelling career - and then to start again from scratch back in Australia.

This girl is no shrinking violet - she embraces her dream, faces it's challenges, and just gets on with working toward it without compromising her values

I agree with this, it made me so irate when someone on the other thread a while back called her a 'mooch' who was wanting to be a 'trophy wife'..................I so wanted to have a go at that statement, but I am too much of a woos, and they can get a little too much for me to handle, they are far more articulate than this 'shrinking violet' lol.
Her best revenge on those who don't believe will be to succeed.

Yes, I originally had a great pic of Jade, and when I thought about voicing my opinion on the other thread, I thought I should change it, so picked the most disturbing thing that came to mind as a protest, but I never got the courage to reply.
I will think of a new one, might go cute cats that seems like the popular choice...lol...

Cats are a popular choice . We seem to be entering random avi territory in the other thread, hence why I was Ed for a few days. Maybe go Rohan, Sharon or Bert and Pattie

As someone that's driven to and from Liverpool a lot (my aunt, uncle and cousins also live there) that drive is an absolute bitch. I hope she has a tag for the M5.

Could her acting classes be on the Northern Beaches but she's living with her family? That would make sense why she seems to be in that area somewhat regularly.

I think you're on the money there. I know if I were her I'd be sourcing classes in the Northern Beaches rather than out West. That seems to be where a lot of the people currently on shows like H&A have attended so it would be a good place to be even if it was just for networking. I do think her and Dan are just friends (despite his flirty Instagram comments), so I don't think she'd be going up there just to hang with him constantly.

Is it possible that Ed really has no clue about his brother's blog? That there has been no discussion about it in the 2 1/2 months since the show finished? Surely at some point Nick or Milly (maybe/maybe not Annie) would have spoken about it, and what they deleted once Milly had met Jade? I really can't believe Ed would be that insensitive to be bringing up the blog, even with he and Jade no longer an item. I don't want to "Watch this space for more".

WOW. I just went and checked that out and yeah people are not very impressed with that post.

Wonder if they downloaded it in full before they deleted huge portions of it. Nick did say when Ed came out of the house that he showed him the blog, but then there were a large number of posts, too much to read at that time as he had BB commitments to attend to so delayed reading it in full.

Couple of responses missing on FB they referred him to Leesa and this site.???

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I honestly don't think Ed knew about the deleted posts. Or he might've known they existed but not what they contained. Just from a logical standpoint, there is no positive outcome that could come out of posting this almost 3 months later if he had. The vast majority of the vitriol directed at the Lowers for the blog itself and then the deleting of the posts was when Ed was in the house and then when he was zipping across the country for Ch 9. I fully buy that he didn't see them during that time. And then all that hate about the blog disappeared on their SM accounts so what would he gain from dredging it up again? I just can't think of one decent reason he'd do it if he'd read them.

I'm shaking mine too. It makes no sense. He makes strange choices, and why bring something up that is just going to make people go after your family? It's all very silly. We were just talking about him moving forward, and then he goes there. Not understanding at all.
