Would anyone else like Sonia Kruger replaced?

First - nothing wrong with loving kooky karl, he's awesome I can even tolerate prissy what's her name for some karl nutso.

Sonia - the real Sonia is awesome, some real Sonia is starting to seep through.
The Ed.....cash comment was vintage Sonia, and she was almost in tears with the final girls, then Tim, she obviously loved especially Tahan & Tim.

9 sanitised poor Sonia, they took it to extremes, all the naughty Dancing Sonia - gone, boohoo.
If they let her off the leash a bit more it would be good.

Gretel - is just on a different level, she has a big brain, she writes, and I expect was more involved in the whole production - apparently.

Geeze, you think Sonia is stiff and bad? You should see who we're stuck with in the US, Julie Chen….now she's stiff and bland. If anything happens that's not on the mark or is not on the teleprompter she gets totally lost. So be careful what you ask for.

That is a really silly way of looking at things: "You think X is bad? You could have Y!". Applying that logic means you should never try and improve anything because somewhere someone has it worse.

I always got the feeling Gretal was involved in the show more than just hosting, like producer or something?
Sonia although a big fan of the show, appears to just read the script she is given. Plus, unless it is seen on the Daily show, it seems events a wiped and everyone involved with the show pretends they didn't happend!! whereas we had alot more access to live content when Gretal hosted, so she was able to stray her questions away from just what was shown in daily shows.

I say keep Sonia. Stop putting lame jokes in the autocue. Improve her interviewing and get her to ask tougher questions. She's more comfortable than she was last year and she should only get better.

Gretel was the best host. I could only wish they get her to host the show again.

Gretel came across as self righteous, rude and blunt.

I quite like Sonia. She seems sweet and overly nice, that's why people don't prefer her. She is also very pretty. So why not just keep her?

Gretel was my favourite host, hands down. Sonia I couldn't stand on DWTS, put me off that show completely. I worried for BB when Sonia got the gig, but I'm happy to say that this year Sonia has won me over. The 'cash' comment to Ed totally sealed the deal.

Haha no I'm not a DWTS viewer. I tuned in one or two times years ago and Sonia turned me off and I've never been back lol that's how lowly I thought of her. Lol!

There's that but then there is also the fact that she talks too fast and stumbles on her words too often.

I hope Sonia is like the Julie Chen of BBAU... Julie was one of the most complained about hosts of pretty much any BB I've ever seen but she's really come in to her own over the past few years and has earned her place as Big Mother USA...

From what I've seen of her this year she seems like she's really starting to be a bit more laid back... She's still OMG SO EXCITED in the same robotic way, but her style is a lot more established compared to the 2012 launch...

The only way I'd see Sonia being replaced was if Nine suddenly decided to push itself in a completely new direction... Not just with BB but with the network in it's entirety...

Unlike Brian Downling in BBUK Sonia seems to fit with the show Nine want to produce and as much as she fails to live up to lady Killieen has always seemed like the obvious successor... It is very obvious that with BBUK that the producers were too scared to award Emma Willis the job right off the bat due to obvious comparisons to Davina and was finally awarded the job after they has realized there was no hope in salvaging Brian's reputation...

I'm a Gretel Killeen fan and yearn for the old days. However, Sonia definitely did better this year. She was much better on Dancing with the Stars when she occasionally got in trouble for things she said. Given a bit of freedom, she might actually do better on BB too.
