What's the Twist?

You know, it is being broadcast in New Zealand this year!! What if there's a house of Aussie's, house of Kiwi's and.... A backyard full of sheep??
Seriously? I remember that BB was shown in New Zealand during the Channel 10 era and I saw quite a few New Zealand people complaining that it wasn't broadcast there last year. Good news for them if this is true!

Oh i hope it comes back to New Zealand!
missed last years one, part from youtube!!

the Twist... maybe something to do with the house? they can see the other house via windows but cant interact with them?
housemates, maybe half past housemates, and half new comers?
head of house?
maybe half of the housemates will be kicked out in the first week?

Perhaps a BBUK 2010 "Impossible Task" suffered by Mario.

The above linked launch night summary also ties in with the "more housemates" and "13, unlucky for some" themes.

On launch night, eighty-one potential housemates stood near the crowd waiting to find out who would enter the House by being chosen by Big Brother, live. Big Brother selected thirteen housemates, whilst the final, fourteenth housemate was chosen by a random draw held by Davina. Mario won the random draw, however, Big Brother set him an "Impossible Task" upon entry. He was forced to work undercover as a mole, interfering with the House in a forced discretion for four days. If the majority of the housemates suspected him as a mole, Mario would receive an immediate eviction. He entered the House with a mole suit and a sign saying "I AM A MOLE" to draw housemates to fast suspicions. In the later hours, Mario got access to the Mole Hole, his living quarters located in a door at the garden.

I have another reason for the potential of this scenario. If anybody cares to check out Foxtel's TV guide, they'll see why.

EDIT: clutching at straws? yes!

we have had the mole task before, and "Impossible" tasks, and they havent worked that well in the past. part from the Michael mole in season 6.

i love the idea btw,

True, the only unique thing for BBAU would be the 81 housemates. Surely BBAU isn't going to repeat the entire BBUK 2010 launch night stunt!

I only mention it since so many things hinted at so far tie into this scenario. Like I said, clutching at straws.

and the ad doesn't say the HMs enter the house, it just says there's more than ever before... I think you might be on to something here...

edit: just watched the ad again, it does say entering the house, my bad.

I'm thinking maybe a whole heap enter, like 20 or more, then they have to pick something ( numbers, colours balls etc) and that choice automatically means you stay or go. Then the remaining housemates " survived" the first night. The ones sent home, well unlucky for them. And it's a twist none of the potential housemates saw coming, cos really if you enter lockdown, you expect to be in the house for a week or two, not in and out in under 24hrs.

Yup. It sounded like a good theory in my head (but that's not to be trusted even on a good day). ;)

Back to the drawing board. :(

hmm matches up with everything so far...
and sounds lame enough to be the biggest twist ever.

Very true. Lame seems to be the word for bb2013, which isn't good. I want to be surprised and entertained. Not too much to ask? :p

I agree there is a chance that this or something similar could be the twist but I would hate that to be the case. How bad would it be for a housemate who looks entertaining with a great Intro Vid and lots of potential as a good housemate enters only to be evicted because they picked the short straw so to speak?

Naturally all the HM's actually going in would be pre-selected and rigged in their favour, of-course...;)

Just an idea, what about some twist like Big brother UK 2009 where none of the housemates are housemates.(this is my idea now) They have to do challenges to become housemates the thirteenth housemate will be evicted.

Just an idea!

whatever it is, it goes for the week, foxtel says 2hr Monday, and 90 min shows tues wed thurs... hmmmmm..

I think some will not go into the house and instead be sent to the second house where the FNL arena used to be and they have to do special tasks to regain their place or maybe it'll be something like the white room from BB7 where they are tested until there is the last person standing, I really don't know

I always wanted 20 housemates to enter on opening night and then a week later have a vote to save and evict 3 and then mid week evict another 3. And let the games begin.

i wouldn't mind seeing a redemption island sort of twist like they use on survivor.... when hm's get evicted they move into the arena and the when it gets to two people they battle to see who will stay, then the winner battles the next person and so on until a certain time when the last person standing gets to go back into the house.
