I distinctly recall a poster talking smack about you in mirc. :P

Certain regular posters thrive on that gossipy bitchy shit but it's part of the fun in browsing this forum. Other than Big Brother gossip of course. ;)

I don't use mirc... So I wouldn't know but I do remember that debacle once I became informed of it. Some people just can't leave others alone in this place.

That's part of its charm I guess. ;)
 
I hate the block:)

Who are the arseholes? I want them to win. Can't wait for this crap to be gone so I don't have to endure all the overflow even if you don't watch..........

I really hope they sell 0..........and yet that still wouldn't stop this horrible couples show - I want an actual renovation show.

And this show & the people on it really worry me about 9 doing BB.
 
Dan & Dani lol. I don't think they are arseholes. I just think they are super competitive which can bug people.

My only gripe with the block is not enough renovation airing and far too many challenges etc.
 
I love this series of The Block, it's the first I've watched since series 1. I agree re Dan and Dani, they are just super competitive, nothing wrong with that. I also agree re the challenges, they do not interest me at all.

Lara and Brad for the win, they are really likeable and I love that Lara gets in and does the dirty work. Not a fan of Dale and Sophie, it annoys me how she is always hanging off him and never seems to do any actually physical work. Not a fan of the boys either the older boy is a bitch.
 
I'd be happy for Brad & Lara to win. The whole series i've been flipping between them & Sophie & Dale. Lara has definitely been the most hands on out of all the women. Not a fan of the boys at all either. Agree about older brother being a bitch lol. I really love Dani's styling but I just love the styling of Sophie & Dale. I love their vision. Plus Dale is hilarious.
 
Yes Dale is very funny and I am sure that Sophie is going to either get her own show or a book contract or something, she's has a gift. Dani's styling is fantastic, I'd have no clue about any of it.

I love Sophie and Dale.

I don't mind Dan and Dani. While last year was airing hubs ran into Tania Walsh's mum in the supermarket and she said Tania had predicted Jenna would be shown to be a complainer and a bit bitch and that Jenna wasn't really half as bad as the show made out she was. I think the same has happened to Dan and Dani. Lara can be a bit nasty sometimes.
 
From an add watcher/Block hater - but just watching some catch up thing before MC (think I hate MC too now),
Anyway - if your not a viewer, the brothers and D & D come across as more palatable. The other 2 women seem rather horrible and whiney and kind of like perky school prefects who would sing around campfires and make me want to puke.

So I see from this catch-up thing that this is mainly a kid's show, makes sense for the timeslot, and the format is geared for simple minds:)

I have never really gotten into the block but watched this year and totally enjoyed it. All couples were palatable, all with annoying habits but seemed to be down to earth. I'm happy all the couples had success of some sort for all their hard work. :)
Must say also that it is noice to have enjoyed my second childhood :p
 
I'm so pleased they all sold, to great profit. Last year was very very disappointing at auction.

This year had too many fancy challenges it got that way I'd only watch the reveal. And too many rooms to do in a week. I think nearly every week they had at least two rooms to do bar the first week.

If you're not a viewer how do you judge how anyone comes across:confused:

As for it being geared for simple minds, the show is no different than most other reality shows intelligence wise.
