yeah we often talk about those dark days and why we fell apart in there, i guess it was a great journey of a friendship to watch unfold. we bonded early on because all the girls on the cool team didn't like her and all the guys on the cool team didn't like me. she then fell for the leader of the cool team and chose to believe him over her mate, this hurt me so we fell apart. i do regret not comforting her the night of the halloween show when she discovered the truth about ed, however i was annoyed she still wanted to wait to chat to him before jumping to conclusions. we came close again the final week, but as soon as she was back in eds arms after the show I stayed away (well i might have made a youtube video which announced she was 'dumped' which she did not like either) we didn't talk for a good 3 months. THEN at BB sydney auditions we were both invited to make an appearance. in front of an entire room of potential housemates auditioning we had a huge argument and laid everything out in the open, we both ended up hugging and crying and kissing and making up. ok i made up the kissing part.

You have always said you took Jade to the Presidential Suite to get him to make his move. Was this really the reason? When watching the impression I got was it was a way to show her how a "Prince Charming" should be treating her. ( for eg when Tahan and Ed went to the pres suite, Ed took the bed and Tahan the couch)

i don't want to be there unless they want me to. so i'll wait at the mailbox for the invite to arrive. haha. I'm sure i'll make it up there at some time or another, however hesitantly. you have to remember for me, big brother was not just a tv show. in fact, even though i was very good at the 'game' that is tv, I didn't ever see the 'tv' side of it all. When i left that house the lights went out and everyone went home. I've never been in the control room or seen any of the camera men in action filming watching from the other side of the fish bowl. I'm a bit nervous to ruin the illusion in my head that was my dreamworld of my big brother house, inside the walls. i will never ever forget the feeling of walking back into that dreamworld the few times i visited afterwards. but that house doesn't exist anymore.

yeah me ed and ben were the only guys on the safe side (until drew arrived) for the first week. EVERYONE loved him, he was prince charming mr perfect, sharon described him in her farewell video as "the type of guy she wished he son would grow to be". Look, even though we came from really different worlds, I actually like hanging around people who have different life experiences to share, so i was looking forward to learning from him. it all came crashing down when he had the nomination superpower week 2 and used it on me to hear me call him, matt and caleb the "meatheads". He really didn't like this and mistrusted me from then on. i think he actually overestimated how strategic i actually was and became obsessed with trying to "beat me at my own game" as he would say. numerous times we oudl have these huge verbal blows to which we would decide to "get to know each other more", it always lasted a few days...then he would be leading a mutiny against me again. i used to tell him numerous times in the house, 'mate you are going to watch this show back and wonder why you wasted so much of your time trying to fight me". I would always be open to having a beer (or a line of cocaine, JOKES) with ed and laugh off our differences.

Thanks for replying, Tim! You just made my day. Interesting how one little thing can kick start a chain reaction.
 
Do you think Drew's relationship with Drew helped or hindered his chances of winning the whole thing?

Also did any of the housemates say anything controversial (perhaps something homophobic, racist, etc) that the producers edited out in order to keep the housemates likeable?

I'd also like to say your deliberate, semi-tactical, semi-mental playing style was fun to watch and made the season really.

Also thank you so very much for beating Ed.
