Survivor Koah Rong: BrainsvBrawnvBeauty 2

Tai has balls of steel not to play his idol under those circumstances,
Agree. This was their chance to get rid of Tai and they blew it. It didn't even seem to be an option on the table. As the holder of the most "power" he should have been target number one. Anyway, regardless I don't think Tai can win now regardless of his immunity idol, he's burnt way too many bridges. Unfortunately, Mark doesn't get a vote.

They have shown Mark too much this season to kill him off, haven't they? Haven't they? Oh man, I'm just trying to convince myself they wouldn't do that to us. I mean, he gets more air time than Joe. I will be devo to see Mark get the chop, he's been my favourite this season and more entertaining than the people.

So, I guess Aubry is the biggest jury threat, with Tai the biggest goat. Tai joins the list with Tina, Keith and Fireman Tom of survivors everyone else seems to love but I don't. He seems to have à problem relating to, or even bothering to consider human, most girls. But, he's OK with Aubrey, so I guess he'll stay with her. She could well stay with him, and either drag in Michelle to again vote out her ally, or go to a fire challenge over a 2/2 split. Alternately, she could just go girl's alliance, which seems easy, but which meanß keeping the two bigger threats.

For Cydnèy, girl's àlliànce seems the best bet, as she doesn't have the relationship with Tai. And she has a good shot agàinst anybody, even Aubry.

For Michelle, I think she's in trouble against either girl, regardless of her number of meaningful confessionals.

I don't think Tai is a goat at all.

I do think Aubry made some really poor decisions along the way, like getting rid of Debbie, and including that last one to blindside Tai without bothing to blindside him out of the game. Cydney is a much bigger threat than Tai on every level. Aubry put her (now) last remaining ally offside by pleasing someone with far more Jury influence than her, and more Immunity-winning ability than the others put together. Bizarre.

I agree with this. Tai isn't a goat. I think that he has a good shot of winning, he has "Survivor winner" written all over him. He is a unique personality, and often the jury overlook any personal feelings they have and reward the person who they feel deserves to win.
Cydney is the biggest physical threat, but I don't think she has built enough relationships, either good or bad. Aubry has been a bit all over the place, and Michelle just doesn't scream winner to me at all.

I don't think Tai is a goat, but I don't think he can win given who is on the jury.

As it currently stands:
Neil and Joe will vote for Aubry.
Scott and Jason will vote for Cydney.
Nick and Julia will vote for Michelle.
Debbie will vote for Tai.

Whoever gets eliminated next will probably decide the winner.

Only a couple of weeks ago I suddenly realised he was even there. Joe? Where did he come from?

My same feelings about Michelle! (Kidding.) But she's had as much impact on the game as Joe, made as many moves (ie zero), and won as many challenges - and I found Joe a hell of a lot more interesting as a cast member.

from TV Tonight:

Heads upSurvivorfans.

GO! will screen a two hour final Live to air at 10am Thursday May 19. It will be followed by the Reunion at 12 midday in which the all-important winner is announced.

Both will be repeated in primetime from 8:30pm.

(This is great news - it gives my dodgy recorder two chances to pick it up!)

Thanks Melore.

I'll probably still watch it at night, but if I record it earlier I can watch it without ads, perfect!

OK, it's time to pre-record large portions of the reunion hour to prevent boring snorefests like tonight that should end on the cutting room floor. These are becoming awkward. Tribal councils are heavily edited highlights so the live reunion seems like drawn out faff. Even 2 hours of audience questions edited into 15 minutes would be better.

The Sia part was also cringeworthy.

My highlight was Cydney turning on the waterworks about her mother's healthcare, followed by her mother standing next to Jeff looking like Thor only she had bigger biceps. I'm not convinced the mother is quite at death's door quite yet, she looked fitter than an Olympian. (She did apparently have historic breast cancer.)

I do think Cydney deserves credit for being the first beefcake contestant to not whinge about food the whole time, and the restraint to only eat one kebab at the reward was quite admirable.
