Last movie you saw

Watched Enemy today, followed by a (very helpful) 25 minute "explanation" video on youtube. I have never been so confused by a movie in my life. After its been explained its a pretty good movie. If you don't seek out what the movie is about afterwards though you will probably think its kinda shit
HA!

I did the exact same thing, we probably watched the same explanation video on YouTube... Boy that movie made no sense while I was watching it, but now I am thinking about doing a re-watch with all my extra knowledge.

The only thing I still don't get; did the mistress really die or was she a figment of his imagination and he killed her off in his subconscious? I think I need a re-watch lol

Anyone interested who hasn't seen it (or wants to see it again).
Shawshank Redemption is on ch9 at 8.30pm this Friday 30th Oct.

One of my favourite if not favourite movie of all time. If you haven't seen it do try and watch it

This is a scene from the movie that get me very teary every time I see it. Brooks is an old man who gets set free from prison after serving 50 years. Just before he is released he lets free a black crow "Jake" who he looked after in prison when the crow fell from a tree as a baby. The outside world is all new to Brooks and people treat him like shit. He goes to the park to feed the birds hoping Jake would show and say hello, but Jake never does. Brooks then decides to do the only thing that will keep him at peace. "Brooks was here" :(

One of the few movies that has tugged at the heartstrings and drawn a few tears.

Pretty sure anyone that can watch Shawshank and not cry over Brooks was born without a soul :(

One of my favourite movies of all time.

guardians wasnt a bad movie, but the groo/raccoon team took it uncomfortably close to 'spaceballs' territory.

I see exactly what you mean, but I think the Groot/Raccoon combo worked.

I guess I was happy they finally started focussing on the infinity stones for once. I hope that's the main plotline of future Avenger movies.

Hunger Games ... the latest one ... it sucked

no point, little action and left a hungry taste in my mouth, not for the next instalment - just for something better

Gone Girl seriously reminded me of Cat. Scary.

I was discussing the movie with my friend after and we both noticed the movie has no emotion, you feel no empathy at all towards any of the characters yet it keeps you wanting to watch it, thats a rare thing.
That's interesting as that's how I felt when I read the book....something just kept me reading.
I saw the movie and it was how I pictured it in the book. I think the casting of the husband and wife was perfect! I was wondering though what it would have been like to see it and not have read the book first.

Last i Watched Dumb and dumber to and The Babadook, that Australian movie which has gotten its praise from the critics all over the world.
The movie is surely the most interesting Horror movie i have ever seen. It is a must watch.

I watched The Princess Bride for the very first time so now I can get some internet references! Yay!

Anyway, I thought it was pretty good. I laughed at some bits in the film. I liked that Montoya character, I especially liked his revenge towards the man who killed his father. Revenge is awesome.

I don't think it will be in my top movies of all time as it didn't emotionally grab me. But I enjoyed it, and I would watch it again.
