LOL @ all the "holodeck" whatifs, especially considering that this Intelligently Designed Universe and all that is in it (ie, us) is basically a holodeck (with an obvious beginning and predictable end) we've been temporarily plugged into as a form of "rite of passage", training ground, and sift for sorting souls for eternity, along with a place for those already outside the universe to plug in and slum it here and there.
Which takes me to "Last Movie I Saw", in the context of a "Greater Intelligence Out There Than To Be Found On Earth".
Numba1son, LSCP, and I have just got back from seeing "Race to Witch Mountain".
Excellent movie well worth seeing, and a far more enjoyable visit to the theatre than our last shared occasion mentioned earlier in this thread (shudders at the memory).
G rated ... which prolly means it is akin to what "MA" was about 5 years ago.
"The Rock" is well cast, so too the kids, and the various USofA "Sci Fi Convention" scenes are as amusing cliche and parody as ever.
Tomorrow will be "inkheart" or "Monsters vs Aliens" after we've done some hooning around in the boat with the donut.
Oh, and a word to the wise in Perth. Book online. We did and jumped a 200+ queue of clueless noisy teenagers enjoying their first official day of school holidays.
Oh, and if two teenagers jump off a cliff together, who wins ?
Answer: Society.
