Last movie you saw

Last movie was a documentary called "The Bridge". It's about suicides on Golden Gate Bridge. Most people would be disturbed watching people jump off it and fall to their deaths but I actually found it fascinating.

I looked up some clips on YouTube and I'm very disturbed. Seeing the final moments of a person's life, ostensibly normal people suddenly plunged to their death - quite overwhelming.

Still haven't seen Indiana Jones, but people seem to be bagging it. My cousin didn't like it just because they had aliens in it. Well hey, why not, aliens exist, and it was the 50s.

Last night I saw 300 - and really enjoyed it. Not overly long like these epics tend to be, awesome special effects, CGI pecs and David Wenham has been hitting Fitness First.

Rogue Assassin (war) - Made little sense, was hoping more better/action from a Jason Statham / Jet Li movie. Plus Statham wasn't as cool and bad ass as he is in his own headlining action movies.

Meet the Spartans - why did i watch this? i knew it'd be shit.. but that **** head dvd reviewer on attack of the show said it was stupid enough to be enjoyable. It was not.. it was the dumbest, worst movie ever. Literally, terrible, not even a movie. A reference is not a joke. And every reference had to be qualified by what it was a reference to. As in, what TV show was mentioned, what movie was mentioned... seriously... wtf? so ****ing bad.

Watched Indiana Jones and the raiders of the lost ark ..got holidays soon and I plan on sitting on the couch watching heaps of dvd's :)

saw narnia 2 the other day, havent seen the first one, didnt plan on seeing any, but the boy wanted to go see it so I went with.

very meh. Made my ass extremly sore, was glad when it ended haha

I was about to say that was the last movie i saw :D
I enjoyed it - i think mainly because of Peter and Caspian :p. Some good looking blokes there that satisfied me throughout the movie lol. It had a few good little jokes here and there but i don't think i would watch it again.

Saw Narnia 1 a couple years back and thought it was just ok, if a bit babyish. Then again, I hear this sequel is a little better. Not sure, wouldn't mind seeing it, but it's no LOTR, even if it is filmed in New Zealand (which is it's other plus). :)

I just saw "how to lose a guy in ten days"
or "how to lose my interest in ten minutes" *yawn* to that movie!
sleepless in Seattle which i watched after it on the other hand.... always be one of my favs :D

For some reason I always like Tom Hanks romance/chick flicks. I liked "Sleepless in Seattle" and also "Castaway" is a bit of a tear jerker, if you can get past all the Fedex product placement and the bizarre appearance of Vince Martin for no apparent reason.

He's a man on the run being chased and hunted by the military. It makes sense with the story, and so of course the military comes after him. The CG isn't crap in the film. Trailers generally have unfinished CG in them.
The films completely different from the Ang Lee one.
If you want to see a giant green monster roughing up school yard bullies, then yeah... not the movie for you.

The last movie I watched from beginning to end was Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. And that was about two or three months ago. I don't know whats wrong with me but my attention span has gotten shorter and shorter. I don't bother with movies anymore because I just get bored in the first 10 minutes and stop watching.

Nothing is wrong with you. Nearly all mainstream films are nothing more than an excuse for product placement. They're basically 2 hour long advertisements.

The last film I really enjoyed at the cinema was Into the Wild.

Well I saw Narnia-Prince Caspian yesterday, and it was great. Also an endless procession of young children and their parents in and out of the cinema, but that's ok.

I reckon I knew that first beach they go to, it looks very familiar. The scenery was stunning, and the main character kids weren't as annoying as last time.

I thought the CGI effects for the battles etc was pretty cool and didn't look hammy, and the title character was cute. Overall, much better than the first movie and I'll give it 7 out of 10. The first one was only about a 6.

:D

I watched a decent B grade flick last night. Outpost.

Its got Ray Stevenson from Rome, Punisher War Zone.
Basically its a bunch of mercenaries who come across an old Nazi bunker. They are trapped there, and they are not alone..
Quite entertaining and well made for the small budget. It doesn't come across cheap or crappy at all. its a genre, sort of horror, whatever movie. Not all gory or anything, but yeah it was entertaining. If you think the idea of some soldiers, an old bunker where Nazi's did some strange experiments, and sort of monsters in the dark thing, you'll properly enjoy it. If it doesn't sound like you would like it, then i doubt you would.

That sounds like just the type of movie I like, actually.

But I may already have seen it about 4 years ago, because the plot sounds familiar. Has the movie been out a while already?

I love the old monsters in the dark forest Blair Witch type of genre.

Nah it was made last year, came out on DVD this year i think, its getting released theatrically in europe soon.

The idea really isn't ground breaking.
