One of Jade's so called "friends" needs to tell her exactly what Ed is saying, not enable her obsession and therefore her humiliation by encouraging her advances. When Ed told Mikkayla that he has made it clear he does not want a relationship with Jade inside or outside the house and that he hopes she doesn't think she will be able to change his mind, she should have sat Jade down and told her the truth.. WHY is no one being honest with her?? Why are they all allowing her delusion to grow!!??

That is one relationship I would want to steer clear of. You can't win. If Mikkayla had told her what Ed said then Jade would have thought Mikkayla was jealous or something when Ed got romantic again. He slept with Jade the very next night. Mikkayla would have looked like an ass then. (well....not to us)

Like someone said previously on another post, if someone like Mikk says anything advising her to leave Ed alone she'll probably dismiss it out of hand and put it down to jealousy or something.

Ed has made no secret of her physical attraction to her. I don't blame him as most guys would jump in the sack with her without been asked twice.

But has Ed said anything in regards to hoping for something more with jade?

I think he has being pretty unequivocal, without sounding like an arsehole, that a relationship it most definitely not on the cards between him and jade. I don't know how Ed could be any clearer without coming across as a jerk/cad/etc...

It's jade that's deluded herself into thinking that she'll eventually get him to see her in a different light by cosying up to him as much as he allows her to, giving lots and lots of physical affection that will surely break down that silly wall Ed's put up.

She's confusing physical attraction with (hollywood romantic version) love, something that I expect a mid 20s girl to be able discern by this stage of her life.

How I feel about Jade reminds me a lot of how I felt about Estelle last year. She does things that absolutely drive me up the wall. (This Jade/Ed thing reminds me so much of the Estelle/Michael thing from last year). However because she's such a genuine and sweet person it makes it really difficult for me to hate her.

I really don't think "she's been led on majorly." Ed would be an asshole if he emotionally led her on, flirted with her. Which he hasn't...ever. He only shows a bit physical affection when he's drunk or she's upset. It's hard for a man to turn down physical affection from a hot girl who's jumping on him and Jade should understand that. It would be nice if he had the decency to recognise she's delusional, on TV and she's embarrassing herself. He needs to spell it out to her but I doubt he's ever been in a situation quite like this.

I didn't like Jade when she first went in the house. I thought she was man hungry (for lack of a better term) and a chronic flirt. She has however grown on me. I actually feel sorry for her. I can relate to her being infatuated with someone who doesn't feel the same way. It's horrible when you have a crush on someone like that. Especially if that someone will make out with you only when it suits them but then ignore you for the rest of the time. I'm glad I am older and WAY past those years.

She is very young, and is obviously smitten with Ed. It's sad and frustrating to see her chase after him and continually offer herself to him. I feel like jumping in the tv, grabbing a hold of her and telling her not to waste her time with boof-headed Ed. She needs to walk away, shed some tears, and get over him. He is a jerk!
