Jade is pathetic

Exactly this!!! Can't believe people are falling for it.

I feel like a lot of people here are living through her. They see themselves in her shoes, chasing that hot dude when they were teenagers(except that Jade is over 20) or something like that. Her abilities in relationships seem to be on par with Ben's abilities in all aspects of life, yet somehow it's cute and praiseworthy in both cases.

I don't think they'd have trouble knowing when to quit though. And Jade is hurled with 'he's just not the into you' hints all the time yet she still persists. Balls of steel!

It doesn't take a genius to know that a drunk guy kissing a smoking hot chick (who's throwing herself at him) is not a sure sign of love and devotion! So please no more 'he's leading her on' comments.

He is though, and I clearly remember her much earlier in the show saying that she wasn't getting anywhere with Ed but then Mikkayla gave her the dodgy advice of 'YOLO just keep on trying and be more open'. Lets not forget but Ed hasn't just kissed her when he's been drunk. Who's going to tell her?
All of this bed sharing and spooning doesn't help her figure out things either and considering that Ed has basically now permanently moved into 'HER' bed..... I also give the girl credit for trying, yes it does show balls of steel, guts and determination. Respectable traits!

Yes, ofc I find her desperation for Ed cringeworthy to watch but that doesn't mean she's a terrible person, just somebody who lacks self-esteem. Nothing wrong with that, she's still young and has much to learn in life, I say make the most of it while you can!
Also I'm a male, so no I don't imagine myself living through her shoes trying to chase hot guys.

Really, you guys really need to stop with the Mikkayla gave her dodgy advice & her friends don't tell her the truth & support her nonsense. She's not a 13 yr old - if she can't think for herself & see the signs, then it's on her not them - I can't believe they're still patiently listening to all her Ed drivel. I used to agree with you. but now I'm not buying it. I think she's just used to getting what she wants. And the low self-esteem thing - I have to question someone's purported low self-esteem when they are willing to go on numerous reality shows & be judged by the public - I'm actually starting to think she's a lot smarter (in a crafty way) than she appears on the surface. I think this "persona" might really have worked for her if she hadn't become so frustrated with being unable to reel in Ed (she's lost a lot of people with that). But then again, judging by the numbers of fans, it apparently there's many who it continues to work for.

He just tried to act like she didn't because it wasn't part of his family's plan going in, you cant give away a date as a prize to vote for him if he is spoken for after all.

Why do people here confuse objective criticism with being a 'hater' or whatever. You think people complain about her just for the sake of it or cos they're jealous of her? I'm not a low life. I am genuinely baffled by this Ed situation and I come here on this forum to express my opinion.

Major difference, fans of Jade have come in here and expressed their disagreement with some of the posts. They haven't sat there and mocked other posters who don't share the same opinion. And that's exactly what some people in this thread are doing by saying that we only like her because a) she's attractive, or b) we want to live vicariously through her because of her crush on Ed. Surely you jest.

You have as much right to read and comment in the appreciation thread as we have as much right to read and comment on other threads. That goes without saying. I just don't understand why some forum users feel the need to insult us for liking jade by saying shit like all we say is that she is hot or compare us to something tragic. Everyone has a fave hm, sometimes you can like a hm for no reason, I don't need to have to explain it to everyone. It's not obvious to me that this is the case lol. I think there are still plenty of indications to the opposite, whether that's because of his stupid "gameplan" or because she's not is "type" or because he's just a dickhead (I'll note that the Ed is gay & Ed is a deadset prick threads are still going strong).

I think jade is an idiot in this regard when it comes to ed. it does my head in. I won't even pretend. I like her personality, but yes the ed thing is pushing it at times for me. I also think ed is a deadset prick. But that has more to do with his obsession with Tim. It does my head in more than anything else in the house atm.

If Jade could move on from her Ed obsession I think we would all get to see more of her personality and like her more. She can be quite insightful. A quiet achiever.
