Don't worry, I am. I'm not usually a big voter, and when I vote I usually vote for a few HMs but I'm going big this week and it's all going to Jade. I've had a shocking week and Jade leaving while Ed is still in there would just make it all so worse.

Most of the nastier comments directed at us (i.e. people who like Jade) have come from that direction...but at the same time I think it's important for people here to acknowledge that a few bad eggs don't represent the entire Tahan fanbase, and lumping everyone in together is just going to cause more fights. You, obviously, are a great poster. Every fanbase has a few people that you would like to slap in the face. I don't judge anyone for supporting Tahan, hell I've spent more money on her throughout the series than anyone...just like I don't like it when we get judged for liking Jade (not by you obviously).

This is what I'm struggling with.
The girls in the house aren't even fighting at this point lol.
It's not either of their fault what tasks BB chooses for them for instance.
I don't like reading 'Jade fans are delusional' etc, just like Tahan fans shouldn't be lumped together. There are extremes of both.
I love coming to this thread for instance because I feel I can share positive things about Jade in relative peace (aside from one dingleberry who seems to enjoy hanging off my arse).. just like people in the Tahan appreciation thread should be able to.
I guess in the end it's a free forum and it's a matter of not being afraid to have your own opinion.

The longer Jade stays in there the better, I'd be crushed if she received the welcome (or rather unwelcome) eviction Mikkayla got. People are targeting people that would help their HM stay the most.

Are you for real? Have you seen the LF and the daily show threads? Every thing that Jade do or say is being ridiculed, I'm pretty sure those are not Jade fans doing the ridiculing and I'm not saying they are all Tahan's fan but Tahan's fan are the most vocal here and on FB page.
My dislike for Tahan is not because of Jade.

I'm all for female empowerment, not encouraging scrag fights between the both of them..
I actually like them both getting along now.
That's what I said in another forum - if they're not worried about it should we be?

I get where everyone is coming from, I think it's just at the point where we all have had it I think.

To be honest I think it's more people trying to find a replacement to throw hate at now that Mikkayla has gone. I like Jade, but I can see why others might not, but I don't think her traits that I know others don't like have been any worse this week then they have before. The more intense hate here seemed to pop up right after Mikk was evicted so I think that has a lot to do with it, just like how the hate for Mikk picked up when Tully left. I certainly think we are getting defensive which is fueling it, but to me that has less to do with the eviction and more to do with Jade being choses as the new target. Honestly if she goes tomorrow she goes. She was never going to win anyway and she's lasted pretty much to the end. I wanted her to last longer than Ed but i'll get over it. I don't find him nearly as unlikable as I have previously.

Honestly I like them both. I like Jade more now but I've spent 10x the amount of money on saving Tahan ].

It is my opinion that some people become attached to a certain HM - just as some people are attached to a certain football team. One might say, overly attached.

When this happens, said fan sometimes may actually take any critisism of said HM as a personal attack on themselves and respond in an overly defensive manner.

It can be entertaining as an impartial observer, but if you manage to stumble into one of these moments - it can be scary!!!

I like Jade. I wish she wasn't so into Ed, but it is what it is. I like Tahan too. I like Tim and I like Drew. I LOVED Ben, and I don't know how I feel about the rest.

What I do love is seeing these human beings interact with each other in a very controlled environment. It's very cool to waste my time wondering how I would react in their shoes. What I do come up with is that how I would act is not what I would want to see on the big screen. :)

I wasn't referring to how people on the forum view each of the HMs. I was referring to how Tahan fans and Jade fans are interacting with each other. No matter what someone says about Jade, someone is taking personal offense to it whereas if someone says something negative about say Tim, Drew or Boog, no one seems to be and they're in fact more popular than Jade on here so there are more people to potentially offend. Some Jade fans are taking everything to heart when every HM is copping it and has since the beginning. Either way I think some of the people on here seem to have more of a problem than Jade and Tahan ever did which is even more ironic now that they're getting along.

Then you should see BB08. It was between Terri, Rory and Ben. The network liked Terri and Rory so they were pimping them for the whole show.

But since it was vote to evict, the unintended consequence was Ben started leading the votes. It was embarrassing and they went into crisis mode where Kyle and Jackie showed the voting results to the audience: "remember you have to vote to evict Ben as well if you want Terri to win!"

And Terri won.

Isn't it funny how that works out?! I've spent way more saving Jade than I'll ever manage to now saving Tahan but I've ended up liking Tahan more as time goes on, nothing to do with Jade. Maybe we should both wait until closer to the end of the season next year before voting haha
 
The comment that 'Jade's fans are delusional' for liking her is what annoys me. We here have acknowledged her shortcomings, we all wished she doesn't like Ed. And as [MENTION=35381]Gemini[/MENTION] mentioned above I never thought she could win it with Tim (and Ben) in the house either.

Ahaha that's probably be a good plan. Honestly it drives me nuts when I hear someone say that people saying negative stuff about Tahan is just because they're jealous. That's a load of bull. Seriously, Tim is still my favourite, and I do see the "Tahan favouritism" arguement, but I'd still be happy if she won for the simple fact that I'd feel like the hundreds of dollars I've spent on her were worth it.
