I am also conflicted about it. It is very similar to how I feel about Estelle last year.
Maybe it is true that nice guys don't win.

Yes, it's exactly how I felt with Estelle last year as well. I still can't get over them showing the voting graph when she was ahead so people would vote against her.

It was so unfair.
They can really manipulate it to go the way they want it. They really wanted the first gay guy to win and proposed to his boyfriend live. Nice story but really was not fair to Estelle and her fans.
 
I wasn't a major Estelle fan, my fav left earlier and didn't bother much after that, but I didn't want Ben to win so I voted Estelle. I thought that tactic was terrible, I wonder what they will do this year to get the desired result. :mad:

Save her!! That way its not all been for nothing...
We need to show people that its not ok and that being in the right IS worth fighting for. She needs to be in the top 3, just because they dont want her to be.

The whole point is about BB being bias and since Mik was another of the not so golden children its totally relevant to Jades treatment in the house.

Estelle was a perfect example for me. I wasn't a fan but still saw how wrong it all was. In the end I was rooting for her SOLELY because of how she was treated by those in and out of the house. Its just not ok and I am never going to believe otherwise.

All's fair in love and war. Show it how it is and let us decide. Its not a soap show, its a reality show. Stop trying to shape story lines and let the balls land where they land.
 
I wish there was a course here for some people to learn how to argue and create open-ended discussions. So far as I see people quote each other but can't understand the quote while typing up their post, the discussion goes somewhere else and people fail to acknowledge views they don't like. So stubborn, especially when they ask a question and then stick to their facts no matter what anyone else says. I really have to wonder why someone would come here looking for an argument.

Back on topic. Jade and Estelle are not similar imo but Estelle and Madaline are.
 
That is what gets me the most about the 'other' thread. >_< She never had or has any intention of listening to anything we have to say, she only meant to make it known how many others agree with her. Which puts me on defense because I hate feeling bullied and once I start to involve emotions its a waste of my time to even bother.

I never try to change their minds or point out all the reason why they are wrong. I dont get why they feel like they have to?

Angel don't take this personally, but I think for some of us, we are over hearing that jades mistreatment is because tahan is being looked after by big brother and jade is being thrown under the bus to help tahan win. Some of us feel like tahans fans are constantly being looked in a certain way and just like you take things personally we do to.

All in all, it's getting towards the end of the show and things are turning up between fan bases, what you guys are feeling we are too. Everyone just wants to make their point and no one is actually bad for it, but our emotions will get the best of us

I don't think either one is perfect, but I appreciate qualities in both.
While one might be number one, I still like the other.
They're like number 1 and 2 in the house for me.

Gets a bit awkward at times!

I think that's great! That's why I'm one of the people getting annoyed at reading this about tahan fans and that about tahan fans. Why can't comments be about a hm without throwing a fan base under the bus. Also if you are from a particular fan base it is almost like your comment has to be viewed negatively from other fan bases. It's absurd

Yeah I'm not sure at what point it was decided that if you like Tahan or Jade then you must automatically dislike the other - and their fans - but it's seemed to happen somewhere along the line on this forum. Like ffs, Tahan and Jade are getting along great in the house (from what we've seen anyway) since Mikkayla left and yet some of their fans are still going at each other's throats? And to be honest, it seems to be coming more from Jade fans now than Tahan fans. I get that... she's up for eviction and her support has dropped quite a bit on this forum in the past few weeks so they're feeling as defensive as Tully fan's did (who in my opinion copped it MUCH MUCH worse on here and on the show than Jade ever has). But surely if the girls themselves are getting along and seem to have moved past all that garbage at least the people on here can try to? Doesn't make much sense to me.

I was talking about how I felt about Jade continuing in the BB house not about personality. At one stage last year I was also thinking that maybe it would be better for Estelle to just go because then she won't have to deal with it anymore, I'm starting to feel the same about Jade. But in saying that I strongly believe she deserves to be in there still above some HMs.

Yes, some people are very good at leading the discussion away from what the topic was about in the first place to make things go their way or to make you forget about your point of view. I had one very recently where I was talking about something and next thing I know I was arguing about something else which had nothing to do with what I was trying to say in the first place. Annoying.

I am saying this with absolutely NO judgement, but here goes...

It is my opinion that some people become attached to a certain HM - just as some people are attached to a certain football team. One might say, overly attached.

When this happens, said fan sometimes may actually take any critisism of said HM as a personal attack on themselves and respond in an overly defensive manner.

It can be entertaining as an impartial observer, but if you manage to stumble into one of these moments - it can be scary!!!

I like Jade. I wish she wasn't so into Ed, but it is what it is. I like Tahan too. I like Tim and I like Drew. I LOVED Ben, and I don't know how I feel about the rest.

What I do love is seeing these human beings interact with each other in a very controlled environment. It's very cool to waste my time wondering how I would react in their shoes. What I do come up with is that how I would act is not what I would want to see on the big screen. :)
