Just to add to that ... Growing up with a father who calls you his Princess and treats you like one can also give you some skewed ideas about how people are going to see you in the world. Add the modelling career to that and it adds up to one very confused young lady. She will get there though. I think she is quite intelligent and sweet underneath it all.

This past episode cemented my love for her. She's a lot more fascinating than people give her credit for. She's as insecure as she is because of modeling! It's obvious. I know exactly how she feels. The industry is CRUEL and makes you feel like shit 24/7. She loves her dad so much because he gave her support, probably while she pursued it in Italy and was being criticized for everything. That's why she's overly-critical of herself. Couple that with her not finishing school and she probably thinks she's an idiot on top of being a "model failure".
I want to shake her and tell her that she IS intelligent- you can tell in the way she speaks that she is NOT a dumb girl, not at all. If she applied herself, I'm sure she would do just fine.
I loved her little chat with Tahan. I really, really want to see those two talk more! I can see them actually getting along well because their personalities compliment each other really well, it's why they're my 2 favourite girls in the house. It has nothing to do with their external beauty - if anything, the fact that they're still real girls despite their looks makes me like them even more.
And may I just add - Ed is an right twat, even if he was drunk. If you get the feeling a girl likes you, you don't kiss her a few days after having a "talk" with her about it (that doesn't really amount to anything besides you looking like an idiot). I think it showed he manages to keep himself together when he's sober, but the drunkness brings out the typical douchebag in him. The one that kisses girls he knows like him, but dismisses it as "fun" and harmless even though he knows otherwise. Of course she wasn't going to say no - she already told him she would be up for it if he was. Ugh, Jade, you deserve better! Ed clearly had a thing for Jas.

Totally agree with everything you said. I loved that little chat with Tahan too and can see how the personalities compliment each other too. And in general both have been misunderstood by other girls but I think they really stand out and have interesting stories to tell. Gonna watch this space

Totally agree! The thing I love most about Tahan is what a tomboy she is. She sits there, legs apart in trackies, with her hair a right mess, no makeup, drop-dead gorgeous and just so down-to-earth. And Jade..her sweetness and self-effacing way (how she responded to Jas going off about her at Tim that night) is just beautiful. They are stunning girls, inside and out.

agreed! On that note, I don't get the "search for inner beauty" talks that Jade's been getting from others lately as a way of defending what Jaz said, whatever it was that she said. I think she has a lot more inner beauty than the people who have been telling her to search for inner beauty, lol. I kind of find those talks that they've been having with her funny. Just check out the video of Jade singing to Mr Clooney to see how much inner AND outer beauty she has.

yes i think they are trying to explain it incorrectly, what i think they mean is she has to believe in her inner beauty, not find it, because she has more to offer than the outer package. I think they are trying to say that jade gives the impression that she know's she's beautiful and that's where she gets her self worth, when the person she is is so much more than she realises.

Yep, very well stated. I think that's the issue. She's got it, but she doesn't know that she's got it or devalues herself. I think she's awesome
And that's the talk that Tahan basically had with Jade, she tried to show her that she is amazing and I so respect Tahan for that. It showed that Tahan's pretty misunderstood as well and has good intentions and a pure heart and that she did not have bad intentions with the sugar sisters incident and is an overall good person. I hope Jade & her bond a lot more, they'd make a fierce duo!

Yep exactly, they've been phrasing it all wrong haha! It's been giving Jade the wrong idea. But seriously how cute is that video with Mr Clooney =3 lol @ the southern accent at the beginning. I'm glad they are showing more of her personality on screen now and just her being herself

Tbh I don't think Ed ever had a thing for Jazz as I just didn't see any sort of chemistry between them. The kiss was it and that was all. I think he's more sad because he lost a close ally and friend. Ed is better looking than jazz so I don't think they would've made the best couple but in terms of personality they would be perfect, both stupid jerks who are snooooooooooze worthy.
But I 100% agree with the rest!

I don't understand how him being perceived as better looking has to do with them being a good couple or not? If he finds her attractive enough, that's all that really matters. Ed isn't THAT hot that he's totally out of Jas' league. She's actually a very pretty looking girl.. plus, their personalities mesh. I think he did have a thing for her, but that's my observation.

To be honest, I like Jade more than all the other female housemates.
She seems a nice, light hearted person who doesn't take herself too seriously, not to mention drop dead gorgeous.
She's certainly not stupid either but she's definitely not doing herself any favours with all the flirting, silly kitten purring/puppy whimpers and throwing herself at Ed and Drew.
Would love to see her without the boys around for a while- think we may see a much more calm and interesting side to her personality.
Hope she finds something really worthwhile to do with her life when she gets out of the house to build up her self confidence.

i probably sound like a dick here but i have warmed a lot towards her after seeing her get rejected and make a fool of herself. It sucks when naturally blessed people have everything go right for them all the time, so to see someone so blessed go through the same fears as us slightly (ok majorly) not as blessed people is interesting. And although she does lay it on a bit thick with the guys, she hasn't become nasty. She's backed off Drew a bit since Tully rubbed her scent all over him but hasn't complained about it and i think that shows that she is a gentle person at heart. The way she has conducted herself has been quite honorable i think (except for trying to dry hump all the men bar ben and mr clooney.)

See this is where I differ because I don't think that Jasmine is attractive in the slightest and I think she is out of his league. From what I observed I didn't see any spark. Just boring conversations.

It sucks when naturally blessed people have everything go right for them all the time, so to see someone so blessed go through the same fears as us slightly (ok majorly) not as blessed people is interesting. And although she does lay it on a bit thick with the guys, she hasn't become nasty.

As for the boys... the meatheads are mentally 20 years younger than Jade. They have no idea what it looks like under a girl's skirt. The scent of a woman (Jade's) disturbs their equilibrium and confuses them, so they don't value any aspect of Jade. She becomes easy nominations fodder.
Tim-Tam, well we know that he's still struggling with his sexuality which makes him susceptible to all kinds of weird mood swings. He will be happy with Jade if he can use her for one of his stupid schemes... as soon as she drops out of his rather narrow, limited mind frame, he nominates her.
Then there's Ben. Who knows what family members, ghosts or imaginary friends he will conjure up next? He could just give Jade 4 points because she stirred her coffee anticlockwise.
Poor Jade indeed. 'Beauty walks a razor's edge...'. Jade needs our support - big, big hug!!
