Very well said Hope! My daughters are both great looking girls, achieved really well at school (beating every boy in their years academically)doing good uni degrees and I've always encouraged them to be proud of ALL of what they have and who they are. They both have played sport since they were little, including soccer and touch footy - but also ballet and gymnastics. They can both hold their own with any male - but are both still the 'girliest' girls.

<3 CHEERS!!! We as moms, especially those of us with competitive girls, must support them and all that they do! If you aren't teaching them to use every weapon in the arsenal, then they very well may get outflanked! Brains, muscles and beauty are great things, but as you say (if yours are like mine), beating a boy any day is better than beating 15 girls!!! lol

OMFG what the F did I just watch on that link?? Is that BBUS?????? That was a very small step away from being a Jerry Springer show episode. I'm traumatised just knowing those people exist .... I'm slightly impressed by the boxing ring tho as I thought our BB could do with one for fun.

Your daughter sounds fantastic and it would be very hard to achieve those sorts of brilliant outcomes in life without equally brilliant parental guidance and support. Kudos to you

lmao WELL... OMFG yes you did watch a snippet of BBUS!!!! lol The redhead's sister is in it to win it this week and is currently HOH!~ (the red head won that season, I do believe) This is why we Americans find BBAUS so cuddly!

Awe! Thanks Chump but she is tough. She broke her finger the second week of season last school year during a game. they didn't take her out and she played the whole season with it broke and untapped (no signs of weakness may be shown ya know). Anyways, she didn't cry till after season when she visits the sports physician to "fix her man finger" and he says, no fixing it! She's a tough cookie!~
 
I wouldn't take 10thdoctor seriously, she's obviously a very jealous and resentful woman.
Guys, Jade's most likely going to be up this week....vote to save!!! The teeniboppers will be out in droves to vote for anyone that isn't her.

feeling that you are utterly correct, I hope the public saves her and gives her a wee bit more time to learn some things about herself.

Operation SAVEJADE begins as soon as the lines open. However I'd also love to see her or Drew win showdown and save her again..altough they'd really be gunning for her then.

Well, i would actually teach my kids to get by using their brains and not their looks.
It is disgusting that people do otherwise

Everyone uses every God-given gift they have at one point or another. People are attracted to physical beauty (beauty is in the eye of the beholder, each to their own, etc) - I don't think there is any point denying that fact. It SHOULDN'T be the case, we shouldn't be judged on appearance and we should certainly not have to rely on looks alone. It's a sad sad world, we are all sinful creatures.
 
Why is Jade so defeatist I wonder? She only did modelling because 'she can't do antyhing else' well no that is because you have to apply yourself to something to be able to learn how to do it. She says it like it is not her fault she has not furthered her own education, learnt new skills etc. Having said that she is still probably third fave girl after Tahan and Mikk.

Just to add my two cents, I am ok if people use their looks if they also have the nous to back it up, look at my tits and give me a job I am unqualified for I do not agree with
 
i don't think jade will be up for eviction. tim, drew, sisters, ben, ed, wont vote for her, i would only suspect tully, jasmine and maybe heidi would vote for her and now jasmine can't vote.

Agree totally. Using your feminine wiles and charms, whilst backing it up with something substantial is okay. Men use their own strengths and assets themselves.

I think it is just immaturity, lack of personal growth, that has her so defeatist. I recall when I was 22 years old myself, I had some pretty messed up ideas about myself and thought modelling was the only thing I could do well too. Little did I know I was a genius in disguise. Hah. Jk. What I'm saying though is that I believe she will grow to understand herself and respect herself more and more through time and experience.
