Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I'm saying it because people are boring jade out because they think she is ugly. People are not voting out Jazz because she is ugly but because of how boring she is. When people can't think of anything nasty to say it seems that the 'mole' seems to be the go to insult.
 
Thoughts on tonight's ep:

Tbh, like Jade more and more with every episode because I'm seeing new sides to her now that she's spending more time with other housemates. This episode really proved once and for all that Ed has definitely been sending her mixed signals and I just don't see how someone could do all the stuff that he did with her and then go off and tell Heidi that she's persistent etc. and yet not really do anything about it, in the sense that he's never actually told her to back off (nicely or not nicely, this has ever been uttered in words). But before I was like, but yeah, he doesn't give in to her and he backs away and he doesn't kiss her anymore so he's sending some nonverbal signs....gave him the benefit of the doubt for that. But after tonights ep nothing more can be said in his defence.

I'm quite over the JadEd thing overall, I enjoyed seeing a little bit of Drade in today's ep. Very cute. I think that Drew was prob a bit jealous of the JadEd situation and the snuggling. When he pulled off the covers I was like whoa, that was unexpected lol. And they didn't show his thoughts in the diary room! Hoping for that soon.

I enjoyed seeing Jade and Tahan together, new bff's? Haha. That was a cute conversation, they seem to be getting along well and we can see new friendships forming now. Interesting to see where it's all gonna go.

Ok well that makes more sense, but I doubt people only dislike Jade because of her mole. I'm starting to like her a bit more now but there are still quite a few reasons not to like her.
 
I feel like if Ed wasn't there more people would like her. The editors have been focussing on them a lot. Even Ed doesn't get much shown about himself unless it has something to do with Jade. It needs to stop, seriously. Show us some variety, editors!

Sooooo true. Pretty much the only times they do show him is in relation to Jade.
 
I agree it's so typical of BB to manipulate footage and incriminate one person but I'm pretty sure they do it because let's face it but people are interested in it. I can't think of anything more interesting going on in the house right now....

I don't have an issue with seeing it, but I just wish they'd show some other moments, too.

Agree 100%
Ed is just as manipulative as people have been calling Jade. He is nothing but a player manipulating the heart strings of a girls who's fallen head over heels for him and then making her look like a fool in front of Australia. Just absolutely pathetic!

That was like the only memorable moment that I have of him that's not in relation to Jade besides like winning the showdown weeks ago lol. I don't know. When I think of the other housemates, I can think of like a few definitive moments that define them and make them stand out and are entertaining. I think it would've been more in his favour to not sit on the fence as much as he does because the public seems to favour more entertaining people and people with more bold opinions and who speak their mind...even Tully got saved the other week cause she brings stuff to the show.

Exactly, by not telling her straight out that he's not interested it reflects badly on both him and her
 
I don't get how anyone would view him as attractive after this anyway, he's not at all assertive and he doesn't follow through with what he says, I get the impression he's a mummy's boy.
I'm guessing this is why he's still single.

Why can't Jade see what we see in Drew haha. But I honestly think the attraction will pass cause if there's no basis of friendship there it's not likely to last. I still see so much potential in Drade that it's sad to barely see them together anymore especially in comparison to the beginning of BBAU and that week that they were both nominated. I guess cause they were both away from Ed and Tully that we got to see better interactions between them.

I can see something happening with Drew/Jade on the outside. But I still stand by what I've always thought - that marriage stunt in the first week probably ruined their chances. Something probably would've happened there if it wasn't forced in the first week

IT bonded them in an artificial way for certain. That being said, there's been a lot of pushing from the girls about this. Jade is definitely a "grass could be greener" kinda girl.

Jade’s upset at Jasmin’s backhanded remarks about her in the Evictee’s goodbye video. Jade thinks Jasmin implied Jade plays up her body get what she wants.

Jade tells Drew she’s aware her body is an asset, and that she’s a model because she “can’t do anything else”.

She says she didn’t finish high school and took up modelling not out of vanity but because it was an opportunity.

“We’ve had our issues and I think she really really liked Ed and I think that got in the way,” she says.

But Jade maintains she would never say such a thing to Jasmin, and that the remarks really hurt.

So so so true. And I think Jade said something similar before, that like something was likely to happen if they didn't have that pretend situation. In that way both of them have been open to the possibility :D. But hmm the way Drew treats Jade now is a bit wishy washy, like he pulls away a lot but then in the moments we do see them together like he seems happy. I don't know if it's just the editing but like people have said on the Drade thread, he's changing a lot and it was so out of character for him to remove those blankets. It was probs jealousy but I wish he'd DO something about his frustration haha like have a proper chat to her?

AND he kinda did that with Sonia tonight. I couldn't make heads out of what he was saying...

:( poor Jade, lol aw virtual hugs all 'round. she does nothing wrong, says nothing bad about anyone but then gets treated like that.
