Jade tells Drew she’s aware her body is an asset, and that she’s a model because she “can’t do anything else”.

She says she didn’t finish high school and took up modelling not out of vanity but because it was an opportunity.

“We’ve had our issues and I think she really really liked Ed and I think that got in the way,” she says.

But Jade maintains she would never say such a thing to Jasmin, and that the remarks really hurt.

I think this brings up the whole JIST of what Tim (right or wrong) was trying to "GET AT". JAS wasn't honest about how she really felt. Had she been real, JADE wouldn't have been shocked or at least knocked off center. Props to TIM!

Very good point, I think I get why I like him so much now. He really tells it like it is and if he's got an issue he confronts it

Tbh, like Jade more and more with every episode because I'm seeing new sides to her now that she's spending more time with other housemates. This episode really proved once and for all that Ed has definitely been sending her mixed signals and I just don't see how someone could do all the stuff that he did with her and then go off and tell Heidi that she's persistent etc. and yet not really do anything about it, in the sense that he's never actually told her to back off (nicely or not nicely, this has ever been uttered in words). But before I was like, but yeah, he doesn't give in to her and he backs away and he doesn't kiss her anymore so he's sending some nonverbal signs....gave him the benefit of the doubt for that. But after tonights ep nothing more can be said in his defence.

I'm quite over the JadEd thing overall, I enjoyed seeing a little bit of Drade in today's ep. Very cute. I think that Drew was prob a bit jealous of the JadEd situation and the snuggling. When he pulled off the covers I was like whoa, that was unexpected lol. And they didn't show his thoughts in the diary room! Hoping for that soon.

I enjoyed seeing Jade and Tahan together, new bff's? Haha. That was a cute conversation, they seem to be getting along well and we can see new friendships forming now. Interesting to see where it's all gonna go.

I wonder if Drew was trying to show Ed up for his inconsistencies? For a long time I felt Jade should have got the message and I've been embarrassed watching her keep going back to Ed. But lately I think Ed has lost credibility trying to say he doesn't want anything and that she is persistent and then still kissing etc.

He could have easily shared the bed without their being so intertwined. To me it just shows that Ed is encouraging her more than he might be letting on. I still think Jade needs to wise up a bit more but Drew pulling the covers back made it clear to all that Ed isn't Mr innocent.

This person is a really really bad role model. She openly admits she uses her looks and her body to get what she wants.
Folks, teach your daughters that this is a BAD BAD thing to do and people like this ...woman...dont deserve to be looked up to.

The convesation between tahan and jade was disgusting also. Tahan saying Jade and Ed should be together because Jade was beautiful was just so wrong. If Jade was a mature adult she would have told Tahan to STFU and that she should be liked for being a good person and not a piece of meat.

I agree with that. Tully needs to go, and i would not mind if Ed did too. What the hell is he doing???? Saw another live feed tonight where hes saying to Drew hes not interested in her. Cat he keep his hands off here and stop leadin her on then. Now shes getting her boobs out to try and 'impress him' If he does not tell it to her straight, someone needs to tell her!

Yeah, that's a super great point, I'd admire Drew all the more if he did it to point out inconsistencies in Ed's behaviour. And if Drew did that for that reason it also makes more sense in relation to Drew's character. Hmm very good point and I think I can see it from this perspective now too :) Makes a lot of sense and inconsistent is definitely the word to describe Ed's words and actions lol.

Yeah she said it her self to Mikkayla weeks ago, it just that it was forced and if it was not then it might have been different. Just need to get Tully away from Drew again, then maybe see what happens.

ummmmm.... I didn't mention any role model business or anything about beauty. I stated That TIM was trying to get people to be honest and open about how they felt about other HMS

Exactly. It reflects badly on her, and seriously he's telling EVERYONE stuff like this but her. If he told her straight, a lot of situations could've been avoided. I hope Drew brings that convo up with Jade and like [MENTION=34873]Chump[/MENTION] said hopefully the pulling covers thing was a way for him to show others inconsistencies in Ed's behaviour.

ya know, second of all DONT TELL ME how to raise my daughter. My daughter is first in her class of 400+ kids, captain of her basketball team and an elected leader amongst her piers. I teach her a lot of things, but she is going into engineering on a full scholarship which is a man's field and if she needs to play "pretty" to do well then so be it! She loves expensive shoes and loves Victoria's Secret. SHE is a girl that drives a murdered out 4x4 with a "PINK" license tag, so please spare me the drivel regarding being a girl. I tell her everyday, she can do anything she sets her mind to and she does.

It just goes to show that she really is being herself and that she has her own insecurities...
Just shows how down-to-earth and real like the rest of us she is.

The lastest video with Jade - the poor girl I swear. She is so insecure and has no reason to be. I just want to jump through my computer screen and wrap my arms around her!
 
it must be hard to be smoking hot. When you are hot it would be hard not to use your hotness to get what you want since we all play on our strengths to do so, but then you get called out for using your body etc etc. yet someone smart is celebrated for using their brain. I've never had to worry too much about either of these things, last time i tried to use my body to my advantage all i got was a hamburger.

Jade, Jade, dear lovely Jade. You are beautiful inside and out and if you want to flaunt your body around, go ahead and do it, honey. Using your assets doesn't necessarily mean you have no self respect or that you have nothing more to offer either.

You just be YOU, Jade. I will vote for you every single time you're up for the vic-vic.
