Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

What kind of girl persues a man even though he quite clearly doesnt like her?

I just don't really think its been made perfectly clear to her at all really. Hell i would be confused if i was a girl and a guy came up and kissed me and then all of a sudden got in a panic and backed away. It was very strange. He obviously had this thing where he said he was not gonna get involved with girls in the house but then he still kisses her at least 3 times and the second one at the fence on eviction he clearly initiated it. Didn't he tell heidi Jade was not his type? If so what the hell was he doing kissing her multiple times????. He must of known it would be sending the wrong impression when he should have clearly been able to see she was really into him. He is much to blame for all of this.
 
Woaaah... just saw Jade in episode 7 of Camp! I think it was filmed on the Tweed coast and the American accents are terrible, but its a funny show.

A guy had the option to share a bed with a girl and turned it down (even if it was only a joke and nothing was going to happen) that screams 'not interested' to me. Then the roundabout way he tried to explain it screamed 'not interested but trying to be nice'. And her instincts picked up on it saying 'I feel like I'm getting dumped'. And now she has been lying on him saying things like 'I know your not interested but if you were I'm all up for it' and nothing has happened. How many more signals does she need???

I do agree he was kissing her at the start so she had reason to initially expect he had an interest in her. Its just that events since that have been pretty clear.

Agreed. I see people saying that Jade is going to far with Ed but you're right, he kissed her multiple times and THEN told her he wasn't interested. Not many people seem to be pointing that out.
He shouldn't have allowed any of that to happen in the first place.
It's not like Jade has kissed drew (besides when they were married) and then told him no. She's always been clear with how she feels.

Also, a lot of people might get annoyed if Jade hooks up with Drew suddenly, but unless she pushes him away afterwards, how will people know it's not genuine? (can you tell I want jade to change her mind? :)

I agree. The way I see it, he led her on. He never gave her a proper explanation and never actually told her to "go away" in nice terms and told Heidi that he doesn't mind the way that she acts around him, which just makes her look bad because to others he's saying that he's not interested etc. Funny, cause the only one he hasn't straight up said that to is Jade herself. Jade's very confused about him now and has gone to the Sugar Sisters and the diary room and said that she doesn't get his behaviour.

Yes notice how if a guy does this it's ignored but Jade is the spawn of Satan if she does the same thing.

I think part of the problem with how people view Jade is we really aren't shown anything aside from her and Ed or her and Drew or random her and Tully stuff. I'm sure she has other interactions happening in the house and it would be good to see some of that to get a more rounded view of who she is.

Well said :) And the scenes that I have seen of her where she's not with Ed, etc. I really enjoy. Like just seeing her and Mikkayla chat for once was nice and it revealed that there's more to Jade than that's being shown.

Yes, I'm hoping for some more footage on the late night feast show (of everyone, really).
But this is the reason why I read the live feed and watch the videos, it gives you a much better impression of people.

No that doesn't wash with me, it's the same with ed or even worse ed shirtless or taking his shirt off deliberately.
People just have a double standard.

Absolutely, I'm looking forward to it! But I don't mind scenes of her and Drew at all. They're super cute together, and like people have said, when she's with him we see the best side of her.

he's allowed to change his mind, maybe he was into her and then decided maybe not. He told her he doesn't want anything. Geezus people. And she is still letting it be known she's still interested, apart from being a little embarrassing neither of them are trying to hurt each other.

HA. Can I just say she cracks me up.
 
After watching last night episode i felt really bad for jade. I know she has copped a lot of shit on social media for going after ed and flirting with drew. But jade is single and young, nothing wrong with that but that bitch Tully is just trying to turn the whole house against jade. I remember in one of the earlier episode Tim said that Tully is one of those bitchy Sydney girls and he is right about that. I know lots of girls like jade who seem to really crave male attention and honestly that does not make them bad people. But being in a relationship and openly flirting with people like stroking body parts or hair like what Tully has been doing is wrong and IMO make that person look very untrustworthy.

Yeah but I don't want to just see that side of Ed either. I want to see everyone interacting across the board not select snippets of the same interactions all the time.

I know haha! It's like lighten up people, her behaviour is definitely funny and entertaining :) Which can't be said for everyone in that house
