Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

So this shows that Jade IS attracted to Drew which is why we can see their chemistry. Glad she's realising about Ed too.

Same, because a lot of people were frustrated at the beginning of the show that she couldn't see that Drew was a better match for her and unlike Ed, really interested in her as a person. A lot of people thought that she was blinded by Ed and that she blew it with Drew when in actual fact, she was making a conscious attempt not to go there with Drew because he reminded her of her ex. I found it sweet that she said that she let him go because she didn't want Drew's time in the house to be affected by her & Ed and that situation. I wish Drew kept supporting her too and didn't turn his back on her. Or at least that he knew about this because he just saw it as Jade turning her back on him when she's just really fragile and doesn't want to get hurt. We can tell how much her ex bf has affected her self-esteem because she brings him up so often. If Drew reminds her of that very ex it's understandable why she ran for the hills.

I have a feeling that the conversation will get back to Drew and everyone else. I'm thinking probably because of Mikkayla. Maybe mikk will just say to Drew 'you should go and talk to her', but either way I think that Drew will find out. It will be interesting when he does.

I sure hope so. I'd love to see his reaction to this. And the Drade saga continues LOL. Seriously, they have quite a complicated relationship those two. But makes for good viewing. Last year Ryan and Estelle hooked up pretty quickly but Drade has kept us in suspense for a longgg time and it's like will they or won't they?

lol!! I can see the connection. this year's BBAU has to be the biggest soap opera, down to that moment where Jade gave Tully 'the eye' and now we learn that Drew is like that ex who hurt Jade so much and contributed to her insecurities. Situation keeps getting deeper.

Uh-oh...does this mean Jade may see Tully as that girl she mentioned that her Ex dumped her for? Ohhhh dear.

I hope not :( I can tell that she's become more insecure within the house after her perceived bff Drew left her. And now Jade thinks he's turned his back on her completely and went for Tully. Plus he just recently said if it came down to Jade and Tully, he'd save Tully! Ohh dear indeed!! it prob hurt more knowing now that Drew's like her ex. It's like going through that situation twice and maybe that's why the insecurities are coming up again. Ugh, wake up Drew!

I thought that Drew was caring a little less for Jade, until Jade was upset over Jasmin's message and he was really sweet to her. They will stick up for each other, I think.

Yeah that time has remained in my mind but I hoped that if it came down to Tully and Jade that he would stay loyal to Jade because Jade said that if it were to come down to Ed and Drew she'd support Drew. I hope that he's just agreeing with the gossip that's going around about Jade in order to not to make a fuss but yeah. I feel bad for Jade because I can't see who she can rely on anymore. I was always sure Drew would be there but he doesn't seem to be at the moment and I don't know if that's his plan and whether he's waiting for a better opportunity but only time will tell I guess. I'm all against people talking about Jade behind her back but somebody please go tell everyone that Drew is like Jade's ex LOL. I'd love to see Drew's reaction.
 
I had to register after that clip! So glad that put that on the live feeds, it makes up for no show being on tonight! At last we got to hear what Jade really thinks. I think she should have stuck with Drew as he said that he thinks that they both know that anything in here isn't real. In other words he was just after a showmance. Maybe Jade wanted more out of a house relationship but practically that was never likely to happen even with the more mature Ed.

I hope they show this tomorrow night, it shows how street smart Jade really is. She realised that everyone asking Drew if he was ok turned him away from her. A similar thing happened last year with Josh but we never knew if Ange realised it or not. I so hope Tully goes. If you read her profile, her ideal guy is just like Drew! She was never concerned about him getting hurt, she just wanted him for herself but she's already got a partner on the outside! I hope the housemates let their feeling known to Drew and Tully soon about the inappropriateness of their relationship.
 
Also if Tully was concerned with him getting hurt, then getting involved with her when she already has a partner will leave him hurt.

I would have loved to have seen the clip of Jade and Drew discussing how he would have saved Tully and not Jade. I wonder if they have spoken since them because I haven't seen any evidence on the live feeds. Maybe this was why the girls were having this convo tonight?
 
Please Tully has got to go and maybe Jade and Drew might re-connect. I really think things would have been a lot different with Tully getting into Drews head and Ed not in the house.

So so so true. What an insightful post. When I was watching the video I was surprised that Jade realised what was happening with Drew and Tully and that whole triangle situation and that she could pinpoint when everything started to a specific day and situation. Also I so admired that she consciously let Drew go. I thought that that just happened naturally but I had no idea that she was steering clear of him on purpose and for his own benefit. Makes it even sadder that Drew has been doing the opposite of supporting her and engaging in gossip about Jade.

LOL Tully's ideal guy is Drew indeed. And when Lucy said that things won't go further with Tully and Drew, Jade quickly responded that Tully is bi, suggesting that the Drully relationship is crossing a line. On another thread Drade supporters were discussing that somebody needs to show Drew that this Drully thing is decreasing his popularity and we were even hoping that Drew would hear some boo's this week so that he can realise he's doing something wrong. Harsh but the guy needs to know it LOL.
 
Jade is re-affirming every day why she's my favourite. I REALLY hope she is safe tomorrow and stays much longer than anyone anticipated. She is a smart girl who is coming out of her shell more and more each day. She made a huge confession in the kitchen tonight which made me love her more.
Jade, you go girl.
 
Yeah I saw it. I knew she was scared of getting close to him, I just wasnt sure why. Makes sense now.

And no, I wouldn't accept money to save Tully even if there was a cut for me lol

I agree :) Go Team Jade. I hope Jade keeps opening up more and that we see more Jade scenes like this. It shows that she has been misunderstood and has many layers to her which makes her far more interesting than other people in the house.
