Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Just watched the video with Tim going on about Jade to Caleb and saggy-undies Matt and laughing about her getting into bed with Ed. Sanctimonious, judgmental holier than thou Matt was even calling her, a snake in the grass, like Ed is some kind of field mouse ffs. Ugh, my pet hate is people laughing behind backs, specially those who pretend to be friends. What are you thinking Tim? Not cool. You'd think he'd have a private word with Jade and tell her to stay away from linguistically-challenged Ed instead of making fun of her. More than a few votes have already been made for Jade this week, looks like I'll be doing more now!

I said the same thing in another post. Tim lost huge points from me over this. Its one thing playing the game but outright unkindness is uncomfortable to watch. He has overplayed his hand here thinking that his stirring and manipulation of people is working in his favour. If a long clip had been posted of Tim taking Jade aside and having an honest frank and to the point conversation with her about how cringeworthy she is coming across with Ed, I think he would have won huge support from the public and could virtually have crowned himself the winner there and then. But no.... three men would prefer to sit there sniggering at her instead. The only thing worse that could have happened with this clip would have been if Drew was there as well. SOMEONE has to put Jade in the picture, someone has to have that chat with her, staggered that neither Drew who is supposed to be her friend or one of the girls has not had the GIRL chat about it. Whoever does will gain huge popularity outside.

tim did no worse than we do here. we have all said "oh dear jade". It's hard to ignore and all of us would be talking about it too, doesn't mean he doesn't like her...just means he's shaking his head like everyone is.

I know I am late to the party but I <3 Jade. I wish someone in the house would finally be honest with her. Not sure how any of them can call her their friend. She did the right thing by telling Drew, even if it back fired. Someone needs to do the same for her.

Jade is the true misfit, nobody really 'likes' her in the house and she has no true alliance. It makes me like her all the more! I want her to win so badly now so then she can be like FU to the rest!

I just get the feeling that jade only listens to what she wants to hear ie. she latches onto whatever others say which would favour in the direction of her desires. She may be a really good person inside but her pursuit of her truth is clouding every thing else. She can't handle rejection and Ed is just as bad short of telling her in her face. Now only he can stop it. I don't think jade will listen to anyone else unless from the horse's mouth itself,

I agree, I have heaps of female friends that are exactly like jade when it comes to men, I'm constantly telling them that the dude is using/playing them but they never listen. Eds a prick for playing with her

So true. I think we've all agreed before, those two would make a fierce duo! They need to join forces asap haha. And hope neither leave

I totally agree. If Tahan and Jade were to get close enough, I'll bet my bottom dollar, she'll be candid with Jade and tell her like it is with no dressing. She did it with Mikkayla and Mikkayla was non appreciative and said Tahan was her least favourite housemate( to stay in the Barbie's good books) I also like that about Tahan when she left the room during Drew's and Tully's tiff to give them privacy instead of eavesdropping. I think she would have made Jade a genuine confidante.

I've actually been really curious about why Tahan went in there. That isn't her bedroom so she didn't go in to get anything, she is not particularly close to either Drew or Tully, and there was no one else in there that she was going into to see. She just came in and then kneeled on the bed watching them. As Tim had lit the fuse for the confrontation between Tully and Drew, I'm wondering if he had been talking up the possibly having a fight to the HMs and Tahan had come in purely to spectate. It just seemed so random and pointless

Nope, I think in a sense Tahan was close to Tully. Remember she felt betrayed when she saw Tahan high five Tim and snubbed Tahan for a bit after. The way I see it Tahan goes on a rant when people get on her goat but she doesn't nosey in on other people's business and pretend concern about others. Tahan does not fake concern or niceness and that is her downfall. It makes me want to puke when I hear the drivel coming out of Heidi's mouth and the Sugar sisters.

I really want BB to do a task putting Jade & Tahan together, I really want them to become close - I want these 2 gorgeous girls friends, and they would be an aweseome looking team anyway.

But in all sincerity, I'm a sit back and love them all for a few weeks viewer, then they reveal the feet of clay and all the hidden icky bits and stuff - and they fall off the love list, with a core of likeables.

Jade was a bit hard to read for me. Friday sealed it. She is a good soul.

But damn it's frustrating, I want to yell Tahan, Tahan, come and take her away from the creeps and tell Ed off - but then everyone keeps telling Tahan to piss off so she can't really do that on her own.

Maybe they can bond over surviving this eviction

It is hard to listen, because deep down, we know we have nothing else to offer. We give what we have hoping to be loved.
