Brisbane was interesting.
By the end of Saturday the gays were basically no longer getting through, they seemed to have had enough of them no matter how entertaining they were. Interesting fast tracked applicants., mixure of short, tall, fat, middle aged, even person in a wheel chair and a Transman, I only know the Transman didn't make it through. One of the round one groups they saw took all girls, pretty girls at that, over heard one of them say she was a cheerleader.
Friends that went on that day weren't particularly that impressed.
Other people I spoke with on Sunday reported it as a Graveyard. Absolute graveyard.
They were there early in the day, spotted a gay couple go through to round 2, unsure if they made it any further, everyone seemed to love them though.
Older louder people who I'd heard where getting favoured on Saturday were being white washed on Sunday.
Heard more than one account of an entire round 2 group not being asked to continue.
Goss I heard on Fast tracks and nominate a mate was that they weren't that useful.
Nominate a mate just meant that person got a bulk email and asked to apply.
If they didn't apply and they liked them they were contacted and personally asked to submit an application.
But still heard people who did that after personally being asked and then not getting a fast track.
Applications are being read all the time, one person applied on the wednesday before, got their fast track on the Saturday, never went past round 2.
Both days people are being asked if you are travelling together and are here with family or friends please stay together and you will audition in the same group.
