Also is his sexuality still questioned? Because his sister, Zoe, said he was straight on fb apparently.

The kind of cringe that your face tries as hard as possible to close its own eyes by making your cheeks climb up to your forehead and you pray for skin to suddenly grow over your ears so you didn't have to watch or listen to him.

He came across to me as an overgrown shy geeky awkward 12 year old boy. I cannot believe the dude is 25 years old. lol

And I thought Tim '13 was a manchild but this guy is taking it to a new (lower?) level.

Why thank you, I like you too! Just been catching up on all the important threads. I hope this years show is as good as last years. Those who know me in real life will tell you I was (and still am) a huge Tim fan. I picked him to win from the first day, and I'm quite proud of that fact :) I still think Tim and Drew's "Day Spa" as Sun Ray and Moon Beam were some of the best stuff shown!

Now back on topic, I think Jake was entertaining already from what little was shown, so it will be interesting to watch his actions, I suspect he is gonna be a bit of a cheeky monkey in the house. Time will tell :)

Last year's winner Tim Dormer changed the way Big Brother was played thanks to his strategic and quirky personality.

And less than 24 hours after comparisons between Tim and 2014 contestant Jake Richardson were made, it's been revealed that the pair are in fact real life housemates in Sydney's Bondi Beach.

The pair were spotted together in Bondi Junction just a day before Jake flew out for the Gold Coast on August, 30.

Dismissing any suggestion of audition favouritism, Big Brother executive producer, Alex Mavrodaikis told Daily Mail Australia that the self-confessed 'prankser' had been in Sydney, where he studies, for all three of his past auditions.

'Jake has auditioned three times 2012,13 and 14. We cast him before we knew he lived with Tim but regardless, we cast housemates on their own merits not their associations,' he said.

'If anything it is a disadvantage as Jake is already being compared to last year's winner - big boots to fill.'

It's from there that they became housemates in Bondi.

On August, 30, Tim advertised Jake's vacant room on Twitter: 'Housemate wanted', before posting a shot of a moldy container of food left by a room buddy who had gone on 'holidays': 'Emptying my housemate's shelves in fridge he left full of mouldy food before he went on holidays. GRR! #smellyfridge.'

But Tim isn't the only former housemate to have friends in the Big Brother house.

After Star FM asked 2013 contestant Tully Smyth who she would be barracking for, the social media-savvy blonde said she was all about Lisa Clark: 'Lisa is a friend so #teamlisa...'

She followed up the Tweet with a simple: 'HIIIIIIII LISA!!! Kill it woman! #teamlisa #bbau.'

Another 2013 favourite, Matthew Filippi, also piped up on Twitter, revealing that he too knew one of the 16 new faces.

Retweeting a shot of Sunshine Coast- born Sydneysider Ryan, he said: 'My mate Ryan is in the Big Brother house!!! Yew!!!! #BBAU9.'

Wasn't he wearing jean shorts on national television? I don't care who he is or what he knows - he needs to go for that.
 
So from the snippets of photos Ive seen in other threads the HM were told to pose in their bikinis or shirtless in their lockdown hotel room balconies?

and apparently Lisa is Tullys friend and Sam is a good friend of Boog so maybe if you want to be on big brother you have to be friends with a former housemate

I went to the auditions, I didn't stand a chance, I am not 20-30, I don't have a good figure, I am not gorgeous and I don't know any previous housemates, maybe thats what I should put on my audition video for next year LOL[DOUBLEPOST=1410410934][/DOUBLEPOST]

to be honest, it took me a while to realise who he was, I was trying to figure it out, he isn't doing much so far so I think he will disappear into the woodwork
 
if it was a one off I would say OK coincedence, but since two more have popped up as having connections with last years housemates then it seems a bit suss, maybe they will be voted off early and there will be no issue, I like Sam and Lisa does look a little like Tully, hope she isn't a cryer, so far none of them have been too interesting so we will see
 
I don't know if this has been mentioned, but my mum swears Mike G Interviewed jake for tim as his roommate at an eviction last year?
