Meglos, kxk and anyone else joining the Classic Who marathon, maybe we see how we go commenting in this thread and if it doesn't work, we make a new thread. I think a new thread would be less confusing for other posters who aren't interested, but it is all DW after all, new or old. I'm going to catch up on the Unearthly Child on the weekend, plus a few episodes of The Daleks to catch up. There's seven episodes of the Daleks, so not sure how many I'll need to watch to catch up. Meglos, maybe you could let us known what you are up to?

This is going to be fun.

CLASSIC WHO MARATHON

nutmeg - I did episode 3 of The Daleks yesterday, will be onto episode 4 today. I can't believe you are really doing this, I thought I was the only one mad enough. Though there are posters on Gallifrey Base doing their own marathons all the time. The 25 minutes seems to fly by, it's nice watching the episodes as they were meant to be seen rather than as movie length stories which I've generally done in the past.

And yes, we'll give it a go commenting in here, and if it is too distracting for other posters please let us know.

Robin Hood on repeat right now remember:)

I don't know if I will get to the classic watching - I really should be more productive

...here are a couple of promo pics from this mornings episode to wet the appetite... cheers.

...I'm liking the blackboard in the Tardis... it could be used to great effect by Moffatt to to pace the storyline along by drawing something out on it instead of just describing it... just a thought... cheers.

...it's a very 'talky' episode this time rather than an all action one for a change...I'm really liking that!......cheers

LISTEN!
What a great episode. Another great episode actually, this season is on a roll. Clara is an absolute star, and Capaldi is owning it.

Good morning Mr SF. I loved it too. I nearly didn't get up to watch it because I got to bed late. But so glad I did, it's spookier in the early morning hours, and especially considering I HAVE TO GO BACK TO BED. Hope there's nothing underneath it, lol.

I need to have a think about this one, there was a lot in it. Really well written and, as always, acted. Will watch again tonight. Great episode.

Hi nutmeg and Mr Sticky. I was hoping you guys (and kxk) would be up early/late to watch it. I had my timer set just in case, but I woke up in time anyway (November Rain was on Rage).

It's kinda fun getting up early to watch ... it gives atmosphere, especially today. When the red bedspread was on, I was really spooked, having just rolled out of my own bed. Another normal thing being scary, DW is so good at that.

I woke up 30mins too late, poo.

Anyway, don't miss this tonight - and probably repeated next saturday as they did the last one.

Clashes a bit with BB, but I expect BB to be all fillers for 20mins, and I don't care anyway.
When BB is presented as a soap/sitcom - I'm happy to watch it that way, delayed/repeats, whatever.
