I saw this online and thought "hmmm..."

Doesn't the TARDIS usually heal itself? It did when the Titanic crashed into it.
...I'll back that "hmmm..." up with a "ahhhhh..." when I noticed it during the show... you're right about the Tardis having the abilty to heal itself so it does beg the question of why it couldn't at that particular time... intriguing indeed...
...A lot of Whovian fans are always saying that throughout the last 50 years of the show that the Doctor can only regenerate 13 times... if John Hurt is another incarnation of The Doctor then that makes Matt Smith the 12 th Doctor... that leaves only one regeneration left... does that mean that the next person that plays the Doctor after him is the final one and the show then ends?...
...during the show Matt as The Doctor explains... "that's my own personal time tunnel...all the days... even the ones that I haven't lived yet" said just before he collapses on the floor... I think that Steve Moffatt is giving a hint to the Whovian fan base that the Doctor is going to live longer than just 13 reincarnations in my opinion... after all didn't 'The Master' receive an extension beyond his allocated 13 lives in a previous episode somewhere?... just food for thought...
...I'm guessing that by the time Matt is needed for the next batch of episodes that his trademark quiff of hair will be back methinks... cheers.
