I saw this online and thought "hmmm..."

Doesn't the TARDIS usually heal itself? It did when the Titanic crashed into it.

...I'll back that "hmmm..." up with a "ahhhhh..." when I noticed it during the show... you're right about the Tardis having the abilty to heal itself so it does beg the question of why it couldn't at that particular time... intriguing indeed...

...A lot of Whovian fans are always saying that throughout the last 50 years of the show that the Doctor can only regenerate 13 times... if John Hurt is another incarnation of The Doctor then that makes Matt Smith the 12 th Doctor... that leaves only one regeneration left... does that mean that the next person that plays the Doctor after him is the final one and the show then ends?...

...during the show Matt as The Doctor explains... "that's my own personal time tunnel...all the days... even the ones that I haven't lived yet" said just before he collapses on the floor... I think that Steve Moffatt is giving a hint to the Whovian fan base that the Doctor is going to live longer than just 13 reincarnations in my opinion... after all didn't 'The Master' receive an extension beyond his allocated 13 lives in a previous episode somewhere?... just food for thought...

...I'm guessing that by the time Matt is needed for the next batch of episodes that his trademark quiff of hair will be back methinks... cheers.

...for those that are interested in Torchwood the Dr Who spin-off series... it's on Channel Eleven tomorrow night... it looks like it's the very first episode which should be quite brilliant... I liked the early series of Torchwood because I thought that the stories were a lot more raw and gritty in it's infancy... hopefully this should tide me over until the 50th anniversary or Christmas episodes of Dr Who... cheers.

Series 7 Final prequel - explains how Clarence the man with the blood of 14 woman on his hands, gained the time space coordinates for Trenzalore.

...oh yeah!... it was the first episode... I'm set now until Dr Who kicks back in... **Sticky does a dance of joy**... by the way Tickytoc... great stuff that you are posting my friend... thankyou... cheers.

Anyone here like River Song?

Plus Alex Kingston's rather nice.

I love how she plays a lawyer on Law & Order with the name Miranda Pond, and they must have done that as an inside joke on her role on Doctor Who but her character on L & O is married to a Doctor as well.

...I think that she is gorgeous as long as she never says 'spoilers' on Dr Who again... that is really giving me the irrits... I like it when she appears on Dr Who and shakes up the Doctors world around him... he always seems out of his depth when she is around him and she makes him feel really nervous in his presence... although I think that we saw her last appearance on Dr Who in the final episode... I'm convinced that Steve Moffatt has written her out of the series for good... I hope that I'm wrong... I really do... cheers.

If you're in Sydney, you can see the Vivid Sydney Doctor Who light show,
If you miss it or live elsewhere they have a pre-record of the whole show from Thursday night's rehearsal available on doctorwho.tv:

...it would be great if Steve Moffatt left with him... the show could do with a whole new change... (keep Jenna Louise Coleman... she's great)... just my opinion... cheers.

I wish they wouldn't announce this and kept it as a surprise for once. As Kingston would say 'spoilers!'.

It worked with Tenant as they built up the season with 'he will knock 3 times' .

Here, coming off the 50th anniversary special and into a Christmas special doesn't feel enough time. And I don't feel like I'm done with Matt Smith!

What would be cool though is of we saw the next doctor in the 50th anniversary special!

...a very good point Zac and I couldn't agree with you more... Dr Who sometimes loses it's 'wow!' factor on occasions like this because everyone knows about it beforehand... I also agree that if we see the changeover in the 50th anniversary episode it would be a good idea... if not why not do it in a one-off New Years special?... that way they would make up for the mid-year break in production and we would be getting the amount of TV that we used to get (or close to it anyway)... cheers.

...here is somebody that I would so love to play the next Doctor...

...Alan Davies... he would be fantasmagorical!... he was great in Jonathan Creek and is a hoot in QI... how good would he be?... he is sort of gingerish so that would be one criteria met that the fans are asking for... what say the rest of you... would he make a great Doctor?... if not who do you think would make a great Doctor?...

...perhaps Stephen Fry could do some sort of guest appearence too?... now I am being whimsical aren't I?... cheers.
