Episode Day 57 (3/11/14) Eviction

Regardless of the whole Cat drama, Lawson was a really entertaining housemate and I'm sad to see him go. I hope he gets things sorted with his person-on-the-outside and that his social media experience isn't totally ruined by people angrily projecting their own relationship insecurities on him.

So the question now is how will Cat do in the house without her fellow. I kind of want her to be evicted tomorrow so they can be reunited, but also it would be cool to see her stick around right till the final. Meow.

By the betting, Cat will join Lawson tomorrow night.

She does seem to think she's the officially appointed spokesperson for un-apologetic and self-deluded cheaters.
The weirdest part about Tully, to me, is that she says she hasn't even watched her season. She should just shut up until she knows exactly how she looked to the public. I think she is still a bit in denial and not wanting to actually look at what she did.

She does herself absolutely no favors by continually reminding everyone and making it all about her. I'm guessing Drew and his beautiful new girlfriend would wish she would shut up about it as well.

My only hope for her is that channel 9 are giving her at least double her normal pay to tweet rate.

Dude, have you thought about starting your own thread for time delayed viewing? You might get a few more people involved and it will look a bit better than random comments that are completely out of place. Just an idea <3

He might have Tourete Syndrome.

I thought Lawson handled himself awesome tonight... he knows he is going to cop it and he answered pretty well. By the sounds of it his relationship before the start of the show was in dire straits anyway so she is probably jumping at the chance for some fresh meat. We don't know all the story so some of the keyboard warriors on here are just pathetic. Ryan reminds me of Josh from 2012. Such a chilled and genuinely nice bloke on screen and he just keeps warming to me more and more. Hopefully he doesn't fall for that stupid bitch Skye and he will go all the way I think. Also how great is it to see Travis in the bottom 4.
Travis and Aisha are going to regret not taking the money, if they don't already. The show was begging them to leave and they didn't take the hint.

Travis and Aisha both in the bottom 4. I hope there has been an enormous backlash against them, for knocking back the $50,000.00.

I hear you. Unfortunately, sometimes as humans we hurt others. I have hurt other people when I realised that they weren't for me. I didn't do it to hurt them but it happens as a part of it. In the case of Lawson and Candice, she will no doubt become a stronger person from this and hopefully Lawson will have learnt a lot about himself too.
What, you are going to moralize about how other people shouldn't judge? Take a look in the mirror. You are judging us.

I would have been fine with Lawson if he had just broken up with Candice and ended it, instead of continuing to cheat on her. He could easily have written her a letter and explained it all, I'm sure that is why they had that letter writing task in the first place.

To say he is going to keep cheating but leave it to her to end it is just a terrible way to behave.

This is well beyond a mistake, this is a pattern of self destructive behavior and cruel behavior to others. Honestly, I think he needs counseling more than Tully ever did.

Seems kind of shitty to me that they cut the potential evictees down so much tonight? I think they should have just saved one person, if even, and let everyone else be fair game. It's not fair to the four peeps remaining that Lawson was up against seven (I think?) and the remaining are only going to get a one in three/four chance.

It's possible that the 4 top saved people had so many votes that it would have been a waste of people's money to keep voting for them. I doubt the bottom 4 had a chance of catching the ones that were saved and the bottom 4 were probably very close in votes.

Ryan is no different to everyone else in the house. Appeasing whatever group he's with at the time. Stroking their egos. Others are doing it to him too. It's part of the game. Dealing with Travis had the potential for getting violent so he went the wussy option but Travis certainly didn't act like the big he-man he was more or less intimating he'd be when he saw Ryan.

No Ryan is very different. We basically never see the real Ryan. He is constantly fake. A shift in reality TV like BB as it became more developed was that people were real in playing the game. This is how most people are. Ryan is completely in playing pretend most of the time. Everyone else is real in how they are playing the game.

I'm not sure what you mean about the wussy option. A few weeks back Ryan threatened physical violence against Travis. In a serious manner after Ryan was baiting Travis and Travis responding. Ryan went super shitty, threatening and Sam had to intervene.

Tonight Travis was joking that he was upset and it was plainly obvious.

When the evictee goes out the gates, Leo usually acts all cut up about it. Tonight he was laughing along with someone. He must have felt relieved. First time I have seen him smile in 5 days.

Possibly, but I've noticed over the weeks that usually the top person is way up, the bottom person is way down, and everyone else is reasonably close percentage wise. And you'd think Nine would want people to spend as much money on voting as possible, they wouldn't care if it was obvious to them that some of the housemates were definitely safe.

Maybe so. But I think maybe they want the bottom 4 to separate out a bit more. For all we know there was nothing between them. By just having 4, the vote should differentiate more.
At least that's my only theory. The top 4 would be saved no matter what. I think that was decided when they saw how the numbers broke down. I don't think it was replanted to save the top 4, it was just the numbers.

Then again, I could be completely wrong. Lol.

The inexplicable explained........

From BBs' Facebook page:

Alyce Auld; I was at the eviction tonight and i am glad i won free tickets i would not pay a cent to go again!! We had to yell and scream when told remain quiet when told be sympathetic towards lawson but i say bugger him we should yell what we want at him on the ads!!

And from the same person a little further down in the thread:

Alyce Auld; It sucked lol. The atmosphere was great but i believe we should yell and scream if we want and not be told to. It was hard to hear what was on the tv because that mike fella wanted people to ohh and ahh

And again, another quote from Alyce from the same thread (re Mike Goldman) :

Alyce Auld; I was watching him and he is so demanding

It's funny without even reading the spoiler,

You could see who the Head of House was in the opening credits,

Ops. There is David with the HOH around his neck, but wasn't Ryan the HOH.

Funny, I was at the Eviction last night and the only time Mike said to be quiet was to hear what Sonya and Lawson where saying, they didn't want people to yell out why they were talking. So people could hear.

If you haven't been to a live recording of a show before. There is always a warm up guy and who tells the audience to clap and stuff. You oh and you ahhh. But you aren't forced by electric shock.

That's his job to get the audience involved.

May I suggest you don't attend a live show recording again. It's too hard for you princess.

That is what the audience is this year. That is exactly what you do with kids.

I watched the show last night until Priya was saved. As always missed most of what Sonia said because as soon as I hear the audience I mute my TV

I am not a child and I resent to be treated that way by BB.

For people like you, I could only imagine what it would be like to be part of the audience  I would never subject myself to that.
