Episode Day 16 (23/09/2014) Live EVICTION #1

Good to see the chats with family members are back. That's one of the few insights into who the housemates are as people that we're left with now.
 
Thoughts from tonight's episode:
  • Alisha didn't need much convincing to take the $$$. But then again it may have been edited out.
  • Oh no, Travis touched his eye while talking to Katie. If watching The Bachelor has taught me anything, that is a bad sign!
  • Why didn't we see the footage of Gemma putting makeup on Sam until now? The only stuff we saw of her before this was negative.
  • I think we saw more of Ryan tonight than in all of the past shows combined
  • I have "the housemates went in 2 by 2" stuck in my head 😖
 
I know they've announced that it's time to play individually... But imagine if they kept the same premise of the housemates making the last decision? It would totally be like the X Factor though: bottom two from public vote in danger from housemates's votes.

That would be annoying for the viewers. But could happen 'cause they technically haven't said exactly how voting will work now and the show this year is all about the producers having control over us!!! No live updates, scripts, tacky events, fake drama, biases... IT COULD HAPPEN.

Yeah if it was just microwaves and blenders it'd suck. They actually have some good stuff on there, I could blow through 5 grand so quickly on there.

Okay this was definitely by far the absolute biggest live crowd we've ever had since being on Channel 9! Huge!

Last year Jade got $10,000 and a TV for coming second and lasting the whole approx 3 months in the house. This year, Priya and Katie were given that much money on the second night and Aisha is taking home twice that already. Plus Gemma just got a $5000 voucher as the first evictee. Based on other years, the evictee prizes will probably increase as time goes on.

This year seems to be a lot more lucrative prize-wise

I think tonights events will end up making Jake feel really bad./upset I totally would in the way that the eviction was undertaken!

Hahaha. Pretty sure that's not Michael. I actually thought it was appliancesnow.com.au - anyway both have tv and audio as well as kitchen stuff.
