is it really Hellen, because i could believe that story?

Most pressing question of the night... What was with Ash's eviction look? With his hair styled in a wavy bob as though it had been set in curlers, loafers with no socks, and...a skivvy, he looked like my Auntie Maureen.

...get them to write... star in and direct an actual move based on some sort of theme to keep them occupied... (my own thoughts right there folks!... it's been done before I'm sure of it!... lol!)...
It has been done in BB01, BB05 (and BB04 and I think BB09 if you count the music videos) but these are some of my favourite tasks. Probably the inner Spielberg in me talking though. :p But I agree with you about the tasks - something elaborate and clever is what the HM's need.

Atrocious is what it was. Those grandpa loafers and the skivvy. :vomit:

I have a question about one of this week's episodes, when Helen was fake evicted - who made that decision? Did the UK public choose her from a poll on the BB app or something? Or was the decision made by the producers for the sake of the task?

...from what I know it was purely a decision by the producers of BBUK... as I have said in a previous post... I believe that they fake evicted Helen to

(1)...gauge just how she was going to react if she was really evicted... to see what they are going to have to deal with... behaviour wise...
(2)... to raise her profile as the 'former-call-girl-that-has-reformed-and-should-be-made-the-winner' status...
(3)... they knew full well that people like Ashleigh and perhaps Christopher would be so relieved that she was gone and knew full well that they would probably bitch about her now that she was gone... therefore gaining Helen a lot of sympathy from the viewers...

...as I say... just my thoughts on that situation... the latest update on that poll that I put up earlier...

...I think that BBUK and Channel 5 have really blown it this time... there have been 3,291 people that have taken the time to say that they won't be watching it again out of 4,477 voters!... that is a very ominous sign for them indeed!... cheers.

...lol!... Theorist I knew that there had been something along those lines but I thought that they had only done 'music videos' and 'commercials' type of stuff... what I'm saying is that instead of getting them to eat shit like sheep's balls or monkey elbows give them an actual task of making a full length movie that goes for about 10 to 15 minutes or so by the end of it...

...say that they have 12 to 15 weeks in the house... from day 2 they are told to write/direct/produce and star in a proper movie that could be used as a real 'novelty' short movie before a proper full length movie in a movie theatre... that way... if anyone does actually stand out in the field as a star/director or writer of the movie then they may actually be given some sort of proper deal as one outside of the house to further their careers once they have left the house!...

...the really interesting part in that experiment would be is if one of the main 'stars' of the movie was evicted... then they would have to 'kill them off' and re-write the script and recast the next 'star' to take their place!... it would be interesting in both how the housemates deal with it and also on how they explain the unexpected demise of that leading character... an option would be a 'zombie' movie to explain their sudden death... whatever?...

...even if they made a proper murder/mystery 'who-dunnit' type of movie to cover up the mysterious 'murders/evictions' of the now departed housemates.. it would be an on-going project to keep both the housemates and ourselves entertained!...

...having them do this would stop them just laying around and talking about each other and just talking idle shit... if anything... there would be genuine arguments between them to bring out the real them due to 'artistic differences'... the real power play between them would be on who stars/writes or directs the movie... if some of them take it totally seriously because they believe a serious career for them could be gained on the outside of the house then all hell would break loose for a valid reason and not just because... 'Joe left his toenail clipping in the bathroom again' type of arguments...

...we would definitely see people for who they REALLY are if they genuinely believed that the other housemates were treating the project lightly and not seriously... that would be when we would see their true characters come out whether for good or bad methinks!... lol!...

..anyhow... as I say... it's just an idea... (Alex if you pick this idea up after reading this then I do expect some sort of royalties lol!... better still... put me into the house to be the Director of the 'movie'... I could settle for that!)... lol!... ;):whistling::hilarious::roflmao:... cheers.

I've always thought that they could use this opportunity to do tasks that benefit a charity, like having a dog like BBAU and he gets adopted afterwards bringing attention to animal shelters (although not with those housemates,Helen would probably have shouted and slagged off the dog,the vile creature she is)

Not sure if that would happen there is always people who watch shows like Honey Boo boo and the kardashians

...my good friend Dystopia.. to answer your first question I believe that the answer to it could be a... more than likely... resounding YES!...

...my reasons for saying that???... some quotes from the 'comments section' at the bottom of this website...

...comes these comments... I'm guessing that because it is from the Brits themselves then they are stating these accusations from some semblance of truth that must be headlining the newspapers over there... as I say... it's based on what THEY are writing being that they are in the middle of the fury over there... here are just 3 of the comments on this particular page... going onto other websites people over there are saying exactly the same thing!...... they all seem to be having the same running theme...

Don't you know that till recently channel 5 was owned by the Billionaire pornographer Richard Desmond, therefor he also owned Big Brother and obviously picked the HMs. He owns The Express, The Star, Ok, Now etc etc. Helen, Steven, Kim and Winston are all on his books, he's the one that has given Helen her reality show deal. Read articles about 'Britains Greediest Billionaire'. The Private Eye article in particular. His two closest aides are convicted criminals. The public have been rinsed by him and there should be an enquiry. Corruption.

Come on Emma, time to distance yourself from BB if you are a genuine journalist. RICHARD DESMOND, the owner of Channel 5, The Daily Star, Ok magazine and Express Newspaper - Also agent for Helen Wood, Kim, Steven, Jale, Mark, Ash and Winston has got a lot invested in Helen and is totally in a position to fix the votes by financing additional phone votes. The way the voting changed in the past 24 hours is hughly suspicious and should be investigated by the Fraud Squad.

Did you know ? Helen Wood is signed to Northern & Shell talent agency which is
owned by Richard Desmond who owns C5 surely that isn't surprising that
she is the winner of BB 2014. But what will be surprising is IF no one
asks how there is no conflict of interest or breach of competition rules
(in business) there really should be an inquiry into this and also who
voted and where the votes came from which can all be tracked and
accounted for. People voted and payed money to vote they should DEMAND a
full investigation.

...as I say Dystopia... going not only by these 3 examples but by a myriad of other comments on other forums they all seem to be saying the same thing... it makes me think that there HAS to be some basis of truth to it for it to be circulating so rampantly over a sea of so many different websites... so basing it on that running theme for me from all the way over here in Australia... I do tend to believe that the show was fixed toward Helen winning the show... it's hard not to believe that there is no wrong going on here somewhere I'm afraid... rumours are usually based on some elements of truth at most times...

...needless to say... it's going to be interesting to see how it all pans out within the near future... apparently Emma has come under a lot of fire in trying to play down the 'rigging' claims... unfortunately for her being just a mere puppet mouthpiece for BBUK she is taking the brunt of the public anger...

...a lot of Brits are talking about getting out a class action against BBUK in recuperating their voting costs because they feel that they have been deceived... as I say... interesting days ahead methinks!... cheers.

...by the way my friend... congratulations on Helen's win for you... to your credit you have stood by Helen all the way... well done you King of the Helenites you!... lol!... cheers (part 2).

Well thank you Mr Sticky, that's a nice thing to say to one that has fought on the opposite side. I wish I could reciprocate...
True, I wanted Helen to win but I never thought she would what with the rep she got by being bombarded with negative and often outright nasty comments by the public and the whole of the BB production team including the presenters of course - day in day out.
So she won, I was as surprised as everybody else. I could only reason that the voting public, not the hoodlums at the eviction venue had finally seen that Ashleigh didn't deserve to win by any stretch of the imagination and that it was Helen who had had the most difficult time in the house, yet in the end had managed to keep her composure and therefore favoured Helen over Ashleigh - still surprised though.

Allegations that the outcome was rigged is an entirely seperate issue though. I have always thought that certain results, be it during tasks or revelations of public opinion or even voting outcomes are being helped along by the producers when it suits them... and that IMO happens both on BBUK and BBAU... but that they would rig a series from the very beginning is quite ludicrous, even I find that hard to swallow despite my leaning toward gullibility...

My thoughts were that they would influence the series in order to have a female winner for a change. Danielle would have made a good winner because of her "decent" religious values - Kimberley would have been good so we can feel good about ourselves and say that we give non-Britons a chance too and that we don't really hate Americans - Pauline and Toya... black, always good, proves that we truly are a multiracial society - Jale... poor Jale got the wrong end of the stick. Jale was the only other HM I wanted to win besides Helen, maybe Ash toward the end, the rest didn't cut the mustard IMO.

So all those girls fell by the wayside, leaving only Helen and Ashleigh. By now, Helen had already been pushed into a black hole where she was drowning and Ashleigh rode the tallest waves of popularity.
Yet, according to the rumours, the producers decided to turn it all around and let Helen win instead. That's just crazy unless...

...unless the claims in the press are true and those self-confessed experts with their twitter-jittery wisdoms have indeed for once discovered the truth... unlikely I say.
Now I've read those comments and all I can see in those is exactly what I've been seeing here on this forum for the last several weeks - no difference at all. Those who penned those comments are not superior to us, they have no insider information instead, just like we, they speculate and get excited when someone produces yet another shred of 'evidence'.
I actually think that this series caused tempers to rise like no other before... people, including ourselves, are still kinda stoned, drunk, we want more, we don't wanna come down yet because it is all so exhilarating but... it's over, finished... so we continue a little longer on our pub crawl until the early morning hours while fabricating and getting excited over rumours. It'll fizzle out in a day or two... oh, the hangover. :blackeye:O_O:redface::nailbiting::sick::sick:

Let's look forward to the 'Celebs' on Tuesday our time and start all over again :woot: :joyful::joyful:

I have a question about one of this week's episodes, when Helen was fake evicted - who made that decision? Did the UK public choose her from a poll on the BB app or something? Or was the decision made by the producers for the sake of the task?
It was purely the decision of the producers - which is another thing to add to the list of things they've done to piss off fans.

That's one thing I hate about the show nowadays - they handpick the housemates to do everything. The weekly tasks used to be about the housemates themselves working out who did what if there were different roles required, and that could create drama in itself, but we couldn't possibly allow them to do that now.

So on Friday they said there was 1.2% between Helen an Ashleigh and today there are unconfirmed reports just 1000 votes split them. That would mean just over 83,000 votes were cast for the final out of 1.5m watching.

At it's peak BB was getting 1.5-2.5m votes for evictions and 8-10m for the finals, and even C4's lowest rated season still pulled in 3m votes. If they could only get 83,000 votes for the final I doubt they had more than half a million votes across the series - just highlights how disinterested the people still actually watching are, and also how the public vote is now a cost rather than a revenue stream.

It's not going to happen but would so love to see our format axed and replaced with a show following the US format airing just 3-4 times a week.
