BBUK returns Sun 8 Oct 2023 (and Celeb BB back in 2024)

Tom I thought had the attributes of a winner in week one - someone who would quietly slip through to the end, which he has done, and showed signs of a bit more about him. Unfortunately most people don't like those signs and his obsession with Paul killed his chances. I've liked his scenes with Jordan and Henry though away from the other group - but we've just seen too much of his nastier side.
Had the cast been smaller and had people like Paul,Jenkin,Chanelle and maybe Kerry been removed from the final selection, the series would have fared better and some of the disliked housemates could potentially have come across better.

Eviction was done live. Feels like they really snubbed Will Best tonight.

Tom out first, then Jenkin. Jordan back in the house.

Well they pulled that back by doing it live, but are now fucking things up again by having an eviction tomorrow at 6pm which won't air till Thursday.

I liked the live eviction that they did in the first segment of Late and Live, even though it was somewhat outside of the usual eviction format. Anything live is always good (except that fully live and unhosted episode C5 did in 2016 that was filled with technical issues).

There's no reason why the next eviction also couldn't be done on Late and Live like they did tonight either. If L&L wasn't airing tomorrow, then yeah sure. But its airing an episode, so why not do it live instead of having random people sit around and talk about the show for an hour?

Exactly. It's not like we're not going to watch the 9pm show tomorrow now we know who has gone tonight. I doubt they'll pick up tomorrow from after the eviction so we'll probably get half an hour of Tom saying he's going to tell the housemates this, that and the other and going on about Yinrun being fake - and then actually in the momeny just being quite nice, wishing them the best and reassuring Yinrun when she starts crying.

If they don't want to do it live I'd rather they evicted them at 9am in the morning and tagged it on the end of the show. That way it doesn't impact the live stream and isn't happening when or before the show goes live to air.

Tom was beyond insufferable that episode. He just proved he’s an immature and self unaware. He was obsessed with getting a reason from Yinrun which she already stated. It’s so clear he’s just insecure and can’t handle criticism. He’s been told by Trish already he’s a sheep so why can’t he just understand he’s that typical young kid that acts up in-front of other people. He’s got some growing up to do that’s for sure.

Finally caught up on all the episodes and there is finally a clear stand out housemate for me. I'm all in for Olivia to win, to me she has shown the most growth in that house from how she was in the beginning to now.

Omg why did we need to see so much of Tom whinging. The lad entitlement was off the charts.

And don't get me started on sour puss Jenkin.

Well tonight's episode showed they were right to drop the Saturday episode the day after evictions. First 45 mins felt pointless.

Bafflingly tonight's eviction did not take place live but they are airing the live feed which has revealed

Matty has been evicted

Makes the decision to not tag it onto the end of the episode like yesterday, or just do it on Late and Live, more baffling.

Its not like they've kept it a secret for tomorrow's broadcast.

Probably because they saw that showing on the live feed that Jenkin, Tom and Jordan were fake evicted led to a ratings increase for the next day's episode, so are hoping for the same result tomorrow.

Olivia really deserves it in my eyes. She’s been the most dynamic and least predictable housemate. And even when she’s had her bad moments she’s always made up for it and apologised. She’s swallowed pride before and has actually never refused to admit faults. She’s been interesting, funny and entertaining. She gets my vote (if I could).

I do love how the Henry and Jordan are showing up BBAU for how fake it's "house of love" actually is, and how as viewers seeing feelings develop between housemates in real time means we invest in their story compared to seeing them meat each other then 2 minutes later in the edit being unable to keep their hands off each other.

I honestly am not sure who will win out of the two. I think it really could come down to who gets the better edit in the pentultimate episode.

Same but personally I would love to see Olivia pull the upset. Out of who's left she's been the most entertaining for me.

It's great we haven't got a runaway obvious winner. Quite surprised Noky is in third too ahead of Olivia and Henry, but assuming the vote reopens between the first couple of evictions and the final announcement Henry going early would help Jordan considerably.

The poll on the thisisbigbrother forum has Yinrun in the lead very narrowly over Jordan. Olivia is in a solid third, and Henry and Noky are close at the bottom. I’m a bit surprised with how low Marty’s support is. Was he really that boring ? I quite liked him.

Olivia seems a bit undervalued by people, given that I think her edit has been propping her up.

I’m supporting Yinrun, but the betting odds feel more accurate than polling in that Jordan has the best storyline to win, followed by Olivia then Yinrun.
